I joined alot of grps and made online friends and now I regret. They always made me feel bad. I was friends with some kpop stans too. They attacked me when I said that I didn't like the same song as they did . They all attacked. Even a 27 yr old women attacked me and shamed for so. Why are kpop stans like this ? 😭most of the time its army and blinks ngl.There was some girl I used to talk to online friend I thought she was my friend only to realize that she was using me as an option . One day when I got into some drama and shared that with her FIRST but she behaved like she didn't understand . But when others in the grp were saying sh*t against all of a sudden she understood everything thwy said and started being angry at me. Even twisted my words and things I told her earlier. Uk why she came back and apologized ? When all her friends left her and she probably had fight with her bffs. Also when she got her friends back she would start ignoring my messages or not reply at all like she used to .

Again one more girl she was kind first but one day we had some misunderstanding .I apologized and cleared it to her as well. I even asked if it affected our friendship and she denied . But I noticed how rude and mean she became. As I said some people attacked me when I didn't like the same music as they did an she was one of those. When I shared how one actor's own wife didn't like her husband own movies doesn't mean she hates him . This girl started saying dumb stuff like " u are comparing the people u love with being an army "🗿💀 tf this doesn't even make sense tbh. Army are fans of bts and they love bts too . What was she trying to say ? Why did all got mad at me for not liking 1 song 💀💀😭😭😭😭😭😭 and made me awful for not liking it. This girl wouldn't stop saying rude stuff , she would nitpick stuff like me sharing or even just talking about stuff and saying how they all were tired of if. When the thing is the things she mentioned those people in grp were tired of , the fight fidnt even happen coz of that. She was saying really rude stuff and being mad at me. She wouldn't understand my pov and if I would try to explain myself she would be like why are you repeating yourself I mean girl ?? 💀💀Btw while I was texting her I was outside somewhere and I fell down from stairs 💀😭cuz I got zoned out when she said awful things to me. I was like " am I really that bad ?? " She attacked me. I really feel that she was just a bitch pretending to be nice at first but then she showed how toxic she was. She was online friend too.

So basically, A TikToker was doing an angel tree gift kid and ordered online and I was, in a nicer way, like thank fuck someone used the internet to get all the kid wanted instead of just going 'I couldn't find it so they don't get that item that they specifically needed like a coat' and she replied with basically 'Oh at least they tried, we should just be encouraging ppl to care, its the thought that counts blah blah' NOT ITS NOT, Its fucking not! and I can tell you cos I know! I hated pink as a kid but because I was a girl, I always got the girls stockings when I needed them (I'm from the UK/we never got enough help to get onto custom lists like that) and it was all pink glittery shit and skin care stuff. The year I got a box from my school, ppl that knew me? Still pink girly shit and products I can't use, It ruined my Christmas each fucking year because I hated all that shit and thought about the other girls who didn't get one but would have loved it! Making me more sad and I'd just have to donate almost all my stocking fillers to a different place. We eventually stopped using services like that because we decided it wasn't working at all for us so just went to the food places when we needed help. I just wanted the cheap plastic cars and maybe some glue sticks and my teachers and classmates knew that, even a pink car would have been nice! My favourite child toys were a purple Barbie car and a pink thunderbirds car, you can combo girly with my interests as a kid but no one ever did, I was more excited about having the canned foods and trying new brands I'd never seen before. Also I never got a jumper in a single one? All these American kids getting coats, It was only last year that i had a stocking with a hat and gloves like damm. Anyway-

It's like when ppl said we as a society need to stop getting art kids the cheap shitty art sets that will dry out and snap in a week, that's not a thought that counts, they're gonna have ONE good day then have a break down over how they think they did something wrong to the kit when actually it was just a shitty gift. Like yes, if this is a 4 year old maybe get them that horrible thing to test the waters so you can find out what they like but art kids still get them into their 20s! If your kid is older than 4, they will have a preference in art medium. Get the kid that paints some nice paints, better if you know what type they like but even paint they don't like is still better than that shit. Get the drawing kid, wait for it, pencils! Whoa! So new! Care about your fucking kid. They can always tell.

Confession time; i kinda hate the st writers. They are the reason why the pride was ruined during the vol2 waiting, the reason why we face constant homophobia from mlvns and the ga for shipping byler and all bc they refused to break up mlvn and also included that shit ass monologue. Now we have to wait years to see the conclusion meanwhile ppl gradualy start lose their interest. They ruined Nick's career and reputation for no reason when his site was there for years. The way they say nothing against the apparent fandom homophobia even though it is not even a secret since ppl sharw homophobic comments left and right. The way they use Will's car scene as a memeable moment even though many queer fans were devastated when the scene came out. The way they write these characters. The way they treate Will. The way they treated Robin. I have so much spite and hatred bottled in me and i am only starting to realize it after a year. If byler doesnt become canon i hope all st writers and the duffers lose their jobs and never manage to write ever again. I would even support Netlix going full bankrupt. My respect for the writers all depend on whether or not byler becomes canon and i dont care if it makes me stuck with byler or whatever. After everything the writers pulled, yes, my respect all depend on this choice for S5.

Honestly I see where you're coming from, so your feelings are completely valid. I do believe that the monologue and saving byler for the last season makes narrative sense because of the way they've written the story and how best friends to lovers stories usually work (they normally won't get together until the end of a movie, and you have to think of ST as a 5 season long movie).

I think most of those things you pointed out are more of a fandom problem, like Will crying in the van becoming a meme- I believe it was portrayed very seriously in the show and it was a certain sector of the audience who decided to memefy it. Also, the homophobia would happen even if byler became canon in season 4, sadly homophobes are everywhere in every fandom. I also believe a lot of those things you pointed out are more of Netflix's fault, because using Wills scene as a meme was something accounts like Netflix, Netflix geeked, Netflix UK and other did, but I don't recall strangerwriters doing that (but I may be wrong so please if I am let me know). Their executives were probably the ones who decided to split the season as well, and having vol 2 come out right after pride month (being a terrible coincidence because of the byler-Milkvan storyline and the homophobia that subsequently came from maloobans). If I remember correctly, the writers account has stated a couple times that everyone should be allowed to ship whoever they want. But as you pointed out, sometimes I feel like they could do a little bit more. They tanked Nick's reputation (which I can understand up to a certain point if they are trying to protect the show they are working on from getting spoiled, but maybe they should have made a less vague and incriminating statement), and they definitely could address the rampant homophobia in the fandom more frequently.

It sucks that we need to wait so many years to prove we were right, but think about how satisfying it will be once the season comes out and you watch all of those people have a breakdown, and hopefully you see interviews from the duffers explaining how that was the intention all along. If that's the case, then I'll be happy, but as you said, if all of these was for nothing and byler isn't endgame, I'll definitely consider it queerbaiting, because they have built up romantic feelings for Will on Mike's side, even if some people want to deny it. So yeah, queerbaiting in 2023 sucks, and it's totally valid for you to feel like you won't respect them anymore if they go that route. I think more people need to realize this is not a matter of whether the couple I like ends up together over the couple other people like, it's a matter of whether queer people get a respectful and deserved treatment or not. And if they don't, then they're terrible writers, because if the way they fucked up that storyline, and terrible people too.

But hopefully not. Right now, I'm really convinced byler is endgame and they know what they're doing. We have to deal with crazy Melvin stans meanwhile, but the wait will be over before you notice and they'll get really quiet and embarrassed once they realize how wrong they were. But I'd like for them to address some of the homophobic comments online a little bit more often.

You are honestly the most reasonable blog on here (that believes in PR). Some of the others I've seen used to be respectable but now are veering scarily/dangerously towards Qanon, which is a shame, bc it's discrediting a lot of good blogs who understand PR in HW is hardly an abnormality.

PR stunts/relationships are supposed to make the audience confused as to whether or not it's real or not. That's kind of the point.

Back in 2020, I remember seeing Ana De Armas and Ben pop up and for months, I went back and forth wondering about them. On the one hand, they were doing pap walks daily and annoying literally everyone with how seemingly out of touch they were (not staying inside, not wearing their masks correctly, just being extra all around), but it just went on, and she kept getting involved in things with him, and she showed up places with him and I honestly just wondered if "she was the new one" after his divorce with Jen Garner. Then they broke up and I look back thinking, oh yeah, that was a stunt that lasted too long.

I don't follow Sebastian or Henry's careers/lives, but I did follow a Tumblr blog that posted daily about their relationships. Sebastian's thing also gave me Ana/Ben vibes bc at times I was like, is this real? Then it felt fake with all the pap walks. But then every time the blog would post more updates about "sightings" from DM - and there would actually be candids of him/her at a park or walking somewhere (blurry from the back). I think Celeb-as-fuck was the blog detailing everything because she was a fan of him, but anyways, they had a lot of tracking on this and everyone was riled up EVERYTIME something would happen. It also seemed to last on and on and they didn't appear to be breaking up, so I was like, hmm. Maybe it is real. They eventually broke up so it's not a big deal anymore, but their relationship, as many ppl have said, at times very much reminds me of this CE/AB situation.

On the flip side, CE/Lily James def felt like a one-and-done PR stunt but what was weird was him appearing in the UK a month after and seemingly being near her, and there was some hotel that followed them both at the same time and that got real weird. We all know how that ended so it seemed like it was just a fluke situation. Though, NGL, I remember thinking: "If Henry/Sebastian/Ben Affleck are in these relationships, I wonder how long it'll be before it happens to Chris Evans?"

I REALLY regret thinking that LOL...but I did wonder. I just had a feeling it was going to happen to him as well bc he was the ultimate internet BF for so long, and perpetually single to the public. I had weird thoughts that celebs were going too off the rails during peak COVID for it to just be a bunch of privileged ppl acting out of touch. Something was in the water and it wasn't just COVID-19. The industry was floundering and they needed to make some huge commotions to stay relevant.

Again, none of this really matters. But I really stand by my thoughts that in HW, nothing is really what it seems. And I DO think that celebs will go as far to PR engagement and marriage (RE: Kim K and Kris Humphries) if they need to prove a point. I know some other blogs on here keep spouting out that stuff doesn't happen anymore, but I'm not terribly convinced that these charades can't still happen. I do also believe that celebs can be in a PR relationship/marriage while having secret/private lives BTS. Anything is sadly possible in this industry, which is exactly why you continue to hear celebs go on podcasts, write memoirs, even do-tell 2020 style interviews where they all mention, "This industry" in cryptic ways. They're all alluding to the shit that goes on but they can't necessarily say it out loud. But you know if they could, they would.

I've always thought his interaction with Lily was to be his PR rs. That sighting with them was around the same time as Seb and Ale.

i got tagged in that thing about ‘post 8 shows to get to know me better’ which like... i feel like none of this makes any sense and i am dating myself here. but nevertheless.

1. buffy the vampire slayer (1997 - 2003). listen. it’s iconic. i have complicated feelings about it now, given everything we know about what the actresses went through on set with joss whedon, but at the time, it was formative. faith in the leather pants eating twizzlers in that apartment that the mayor put her up in is one of my earliest “oh i’m kinda gay” moments. belonging pt 2 still makes me cry. willow and tara. i’ll never be over it.

2. queer as folk (1999 - 2005) obviously, in the late 90s / early 2000s i was searching for queer rep anywhere i could find it.  we had just gotten direct tv, i think so my dad could watch the sopranos. little did he know, i was watching 30 year old brian fucking 18 year old justin taylor on the lowest tv volume possible after sneaking into the living room at 2 in the morning after everyone else had gone to bed. is it good representation? is it fucked up that the relationship that anchored the show was between a grown man and a teenager? i wasn’t thinking about it like that when i watched it.  i was just absolutely in awe. 

3. the l word (2004 - 2009) listen. if you watched the l word and wanted to bang shane, you were probably straight.  if you watched the l word and wanted to get railed by jennifer beals, you were just a mortal. if you watched the l word and wanted to be jenny schecter before she got that little dog... you were me. i may have been the only one in the world? i don’t know what that says about me.

4. charmed (og) (1998 - 2006) i watched charmed reruns literally every single day after school.  i adored charmed.  beautiful powerful women living in san francisco with the most bonkers late-90s / early 2000s fashion fighting demons? i was all in.  i remember my dad telling me that he thought holly marie combs was “plain looking” and i’m still offended.  Its been 25 years.

5. south of nowhere (2005 - 2008) i feel like i was the only person in the world who watched this show. it was on nickelodeon (???). it had 3 seasons. gabrielle christian moves from ohio to los angeles and falls in love with mandy musgrave. it disappeared and tbqh i can barely believe it aired when and where it did.

6. crazy ex girlfriend (2015 - 2019) a show about older ppl for an older me. i obviously relate a lot to a california attorney with a complicated relationship with her body and mental health struggles.  so. i stopped watching before the last season so i could continue to live in my fantasy world where rebecca was with nathaniel.  i know i’m in the minority, but i thought they were perfect together. the chemistry was off the charts. he matched her intellect. i loved it.

7. orange is the new black (2013 - 2020). i mean, it basically started off the rise of netflix’s original content, right? i mean, now, looking at how netflix treats their original content creators, it’s bad. but still.  and i think about danielle brooks saying "so I'm sitting there, bbq sauce on my tiddies" all the time. and i’ll never be over what they did to poussey. and how they handled it the next season by painting the killer corrections official as sympathetic. i didn’t watch anything after that season.

8. skins uk (2007-2013). this is another one that i have complicated feelings about, given what the now-adult actors have said about their experience filming the show as teens. the star power this show brought us though. dev patel. daniel kaluuya. jack o’connell. kaya scodelario. it was really something. i remember downloading it and watching it on my first laptop sitting on my fire escape and smoking as a college student and thinking that i was just so deep and grown up. how embarassing lmfao fml

-There’s the thing in Oklahoma they want to pass where they can forcibly detransition those under 26.

-Fl getting those under 18 to detransition and stopping those who are trying.

-They’re also trying to get the ‘don’t say gay’ bill to become nation wide.

Like this is isn’t even about kids anymore (it never was), this is outright discrimination and is fucking unconstitutional. And that’s not even mentioning the shit that’s already passed.

This isn’t and never was about kids. This is genuine hate for those in the LGBTQ+ community. As a trans person who lives the US this is terrifying. I have family in Florida, the oldest being 9, what if they turn out to be queer? This is putting children in unsafe home/school/public environments. This is not okay.

And it isn’t even just the US! Stuff like this is going on in the UK as well! And that’s not even beginning to talk about the country’s that you get the death penalty for being LGBTQ+!!

And this also isn’t mentioning the shit going on in the schools themselves.

Last year my school had a Pride Day for LGBTQ+ students and other minority groups. The GSA (which I myself am apart of) spent weeks making decorations for this event. We spent time putting up these decorations just for them all to get ripped down. And the pride flag that we put up was torn down and replaced with a trump flag. This was putting all the bullying and harassment the students have been facing at our our school up front and you want to know what happened? Those students that did this shit got a 40 minute talking to about how it isn’t okay to bully ppl and they had to apologize to a few kids from the GSA. That’s it. That’s all they fucking did. This year we were denied a Pride Day because it was a “distraction”. ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? these kids got zero punishment and now they’re trying to get us to what? Shut up about it? No.

This is just one example, I have so many stories of the things that have gone on at my school and how the staff did fuck all to help. There are plenty of teachers at the school who have showed their support for us LGBTQ+ members and for them in so grateful. But the admin, the people that can do anything about it have done absolutely nothing. Even when it got physical. They didn’t step in to help.

We have seminars and days dedicated to all these websites about saying something about bullying so that people can get help. But. When we reach out and ask for the help that they preach for us to look for they do do nothing? You CANNOT tell us to ask for help and then ignore us when we ask for it. This is why the $uic!d€ rate for LGBTQ+ teens is so high. This is why we don’t ask for help.

Do better. We are screaming for help but are getting drowned to be silent because it’s easier for you to do nothing. We have been shown time and time again that we are not safe in the places where we should be. I can’t step out of my house without being made to feel unsafe and that isn’t how it should be at all.

This is why I hate America and governments in general. My rights should not be up for debate by anyone but especially people who have never gone through anything like this. My medical history and/or plans are no one’s business but my own. Who I love and choose to marry is no one’s business but my own.

Learn to shut the fuck up and let people live their lives without fear of being killed/harmed/harassed in any way.

Speaking of the other bathroom moodboard, my parents had just given me a raw area even 10 yrs ago when I was in my teens my living conditions were very poor I was inexperienced and I had no help (even now I don’t) so I don’t want ppl to assume I’m very happy with all my stuff or I have my family’s support & that I’m just being “whiny” for no reason. They don’t care about me… they pretend in front of strangers. The bathroom was partially tiled (I’m not in the state to write my pressure is severely low so is my heartrate n I’m very numb) it was partially tiled it was embarrassing, one cud even see the raw grouted masoned wall there, the tub had no skirting it was again just a drop in tub which they’d dumped inside (haphazardly) there was fungus growing on my shampoo and other Bath stuff, I can barely breathe rn I am not obliged to give any explanations there was no towel ring or even a wash basin stand I wud wash my hands in the outside bathroom I wud go all the way there now I’m bed ridden (luckily I renovated everything) I was made to cry when I called someone from urban clap to fix a stand there and what’s worse is that he fixed it in a slant manner it was so tilted that my clothes would get wet the WC was leaking so were all the attachments in the shower area but my mother kept challenging me and fighting as to why I had to renovate it (I used it that way for TEN LONG YEARS an entire decade) I was made to cry LIKE HELL even in my horrible health condition and I was abused a lot…

I had somehow renovated it in 2021, unfortunately now I’ll have to do it again because of some major fault on the plumber’s part + other irrémédiable issues. I was also surprised to learn that our own Indian brand is keeping their classic range only for show here at the orientation centre and EXPORTING everything to UK & Dubai where they already have other alternatives such as Drummonds and Burlington, they have the entire set with the crutch and the hand shower THERE whereas in India everything has to be purchased separately and that too they have DISCONTINUED the crutch (HERE) without which its useless, our own crutch which is made in Rajasthan is exported there and they’ve kept this classic range only for show, everything is reserved for exports. Whatever looks ugly or has that local masculine design (every other local brand has the same products only the labels differ) is kept for Indians, we are beggars or what? All the classic, heritage stuff is sent there for what? To compete with other rival brands? They are so stingy and frugal when it comes to Indian customers that they kept only ONE piece/unit in the thermostatic model and divided that also into 2 halves, just like Greek God Zeus who had split soulmates out of intimidation, the top part is sent to Delhi and the back concealed component is kept for Mumbai! How stupid? It has been rendered useless for both the cities now. I somehow procured the crutch from an old stock (box packed) and I was continuously getting a rusted concealed back unit (thermostat which is super pricey) from everywhere cuz they were rotating the same damaged piece, I somehow got in touch with another dealer and ordered it from the main hub but it was the same one from that “pair” which had no front component cuz that was lying in Delhi. I can’t write much, people even buy your freestanding bathtubs in India we have all started buying that I’ve seen the reviews, for such bathtubs we require bigger spouts too and this was much more ideal I even opened the autocad to check if the thermostatic one which I’d selected had a single outlet or not cuz I didn’t want anything with a diverter I have a bathtub I needed something right there for my hand to reach while sitting inside the tub hence we had to spend more and I didn’t want the 3 way one, this set has a different spout which is better than the ones we are commonly getting in abroad they all have a flat nose, whereas this has a round ribbed border which looks more expensive and a mesh filter plate inside, I needed one with a crutch cuz I don’t have more room there to fit both my soap tray as well as the shower bracket and I’ve optimised whatever space I had skilfully to keep all my apothecary jars and everything to have a full sized vanity, a free standing almost 1700 mm bathtub… (cuz again you don’t get smaller ones in India where bathrooms are matchbox sized) and all kinds of other things even wall art and frames.

So I needed one with a crutch provision not a bracket, secondly the long bend exposed pipe would’ve been difficult to put there as I have a highlighter tile which is running throughout the bathroom lastly it had a tap not a spout which is a bit unappealing moreover its not long enough to enter my tub completely so all the bubble bath solution would’ve ended up at the edges (cuz it has to be poured right under the faucet in running water) and last but not the least this was my main reason - we could’ve spent half the amount but we opted for the thermostat mainly because the 3 way one had a pull and twist knob on the tap to switch between Bath spout and hand shower and I wanted the one with a lever/dongle cuz of my previous experience (which was horrible) with Kohler no offence and with wet hands it’s anyway difficult but yeah Kohler’s spout was faulty. I wanted to make a budget bathroom so I got from there but I went wrong because I also realised that all my stuff is very common Kohler has only one design or product in each category and they are promoting the same 1-2 things everywhere which means I ended up with something really common, faulty and boring. Nothing vintage or whatever we want, just the typical semi modern 2003 stuff. I’m very happy with this one (I haven’t used it yet but I saw all the functioning with the lever and knobs) and this is exactly why I wanted it, I have put the entire thing together as a set & I matched the the bottom mixer with the thermostatic one on top for my overhead shower to have 2 separate modes, I’ll be able to use the overhead along with the hand shower BOTH AT THE SAME TIME secondly I was looking for a budget mixer again but that too was discontinued and we anyway would’ve had to upturn the outlet flang or whatever from behind cuz it was meant for filling pails and buckets, now after the thermostat my shower portion is gonna have a modern touch because of how they’ve designed it, when you are paying so much you are getting that typical shower console look with black insets, they aren’t illuminated because they are not digital (that is usually there in a 50k to 1 lakh unit) however you do get the console with that typical look and everything since its an automatic model and I even edited all my stuff including the renders to make them more realistic for my moodboard cuz I was not able to find real life images. Ab naak mat kataiyen cuz ppl might show interest and none of this is easily available for Indians… it’s the classic range which should be manufactured and supplied in full swing/bulk please do that why is India always lagging behind? There’s an entire cult following including me for this Victorian style everywhere in abroad but in India we are not getting it easily especially in Mumbai.

I'm a Brit and watching from the sidelines in horror at the US prospect of picking between two genocide maintainers, anti migration, racist, rich men both with a past of violence to women (structurally and interpersonally) who operationally both function to maintain and expand American imperial interests.

Then I look at my own country and we have two parties. One- creates poverty from neoliberal and right economic policies. They massage a wealth divide. They notoriously glass cliff woman and racial minority politicians, supports genocide and actively wishes to continue falsifying its imperial legacy and shirks their geopolitical role in creating immigration issues and pursuing inflammatory rhetoric that centralises hegemonic interests.

My other choice is another party who is saying this is all bad, let's get the tories out! Then use fluffy language to try to differentiate the way they aim to maintain the structures and factors that allow for all the strife we face but with no critical analysis of how we ended up in the situation. They want the same socioeconomic systems, want to also kick you in the face but with a softer boot.

I also have to play tactical voting so I'd vote green party as they align most to my economic and environmental interests and best choice for refugees, but on social issues like gender, royals, military they're still not far enough left. But England's crappy overton window this is a minority position. If I was still in my uni consistency I'd be voting green (interesting how they call it when students are home 🙃) but last election was a shit show minority seat and we've had a wanker tory MP who I badly want to vote out. This guy is bottom of the barrel, his alternate labour candidate is very much hearts and minds liberal wash but he is the only other opponent who can unseat him.

But I fucking hate Sir Keir Starmer, affectionately named Keith Starmer, Kiddy Starver, who loves racist criminal systems, won't take a firm stand on safe refugee routes and people are drowning, loves capitalism and cap doffing. I also despise the labour party and the whole British political system and its culture wars.

the UK does operate similarly in the sense that the two parties that are typically in power are either labour or tories. but honestly i don’t think it’s AS bad in the sense that at least tories & labour do have some visible differences. meanwhile the differences between democrats & republicans at this point seem to mainly be how they present themselves, bc in practice they’re pretty much aligned on most fronts.

personally i think the UK’s system is more hopeful bc in general i do feel like there is less corruption and more fairness in the system but also i havent seen labour in power for an extremely long time (when i googled it, it seems the last time there was a labour PM was early 2010…) and UKIP grew in power + the UK seriously shot themselves in the foot with brexit + tories have been effectively making the UK worse. so perhaps that’s just naïveté on my part. but at least from what i’ve seen, the same hopeless mindset americans have doesn’t seem to persist among the brits… then again maybe the brits are seeing their govt thru rose-coloured glasses as u have stated so,, maybe that’s why.

i mostly played up my imaginary disgust because people tag me in those things and well, i am a clown who aims to please and make people laugh. I genuinely don't actually care.

Cheddar is not really an usual cheese in France though, we have some in store because of American foods like hamburger or hot dog having popularized it enough, but that's about it and about as rarely as you'll see it. When i was a kid (wayyy before internet bridged a lot of cultural gaps) i remember people being offended that it was even called cheese, but it's an outrage i haven't seen in the last two decades of my life.

It is considered a subpar cheese, because we're a cheese loving nation (and i know personally it makes me feel a little sick) but not nearly as outrageous as many non-french think it is.

and i watched enough American movies to know about the spray cheese. Some movies i watched when i was a kid were showing those off and at first i thought it was whipped cream because that's the sort of package our whipped creams come into. And then i saw it was yellow and it was no fucking way. and then i grew up just shrugging it off as this type of "the fatal American need to have a pretty good time". Like, knock yourself out, to each their own.

Every culture approach food differently, there's no right or wrong way, and French people don't have the monopoly on cheese and what a right cheese is.

Oh my gosh, you are far too sweet. i don’t quite have a new job (yet) i work at the theatre already just as an usher/on the bar. I’m currently training to be a theatre technician because i only decided i wanted to do it like 4 months ago. I’m currently on two different training programs, one that finishes today where i’ll be doing the sound and lighting for a gig. the other isn’t over for a few more months and is solely based on theatre. i have had some cool opportunities though like my first main house show which just refers to doing a show in the main auditorium. that’s where the professional shows perform and i got to operate the sound from the actual tech booth rather than the studio space where we train. i’ve also done helped out at some live music events, open mics and i’m gonna be doing tech for the big fringe festival. so i’ve made a lot of progress in 4 months. a theatre technician is just someone who helps with the tech/manual side of performances so that usually entails helping build the sets and take them down as well as working with the sound and lighting equipment. they help edit the music/sound as well as the lighting then operate during the shows. so every sound or lighting change you see in theatre is done by somebody. i specifically want to do it for touring musicals so getting to operate the sound or lighting during the show but it’s gonna be a while before i get there. i have been a little disheartened as of the last month or so because i’m just feeling so behind since i’m a little bit older than most when they start out but i’m learning to accept that i can’t make up for that so thank you!! it’s really nice to hear.

SIX is just a musical where henry VIII’s wives are reimagined as modern day pop stars. each queen has their own song about their past life. it’s fun. the songs are great. i’d highly recommend seeing it if you’re interested. or just look it up, there are plenty of videos online. (i’m attached to the uk tour cast version that just finished personally. i saw them like 20+ times and got to speak to them backstage but any will do) Katherine Howard is my favourite.

tbh my closest encounter w arguably famous ppl ws w the wtnv cast when they did a show in glasgow and my friend invited me to come bc he had a streak of seeing every uk show (id been listening to the podcast since 2013 but i was a deranged hermit who never went outside so didnt go to shows much)

Like the edits adn hcs are great- there’s a lot of cool , sweet, Ninjago fans there but omg the comment sections can be SOOO annoying sometimes 😭😭 if I see one more person complain about the new character designs I’m gonna have to hack into the Tik tok headquarters and delete that app cuz I swear y’all r pissing me off too much💀💀 there’s always these people having to be like “ugh old Ninjago was better 😒😢” and shit like that and AUAHSHJSB

It’s even worse when u notice that it’s someone who like watched it only when they were a kid and happens to stumble upon some edit and decides to shit on how different it is or looks just cuz or nostalgia. Or like I saw a person go “oh I used to watch Ninjago but then after the movie they changed their designs…and they looked just so different like Zane was super robotic…Kai’s hair was so different ..(etc etc I don’t remember exactly what they said but i do remmeber them mentioning Zane’s robotic appeal which was already a thing before the movie?? AND LOOK - I UNDERSTAND that change can be very deteriorating for some people - and I understand not watching a show cuz of the style or how it looks- but the design changes didn’t change for the worse?? Like at all- and the animation peaked after the movie cuz of the budget increase as well as the story like omg…watching season 8 as I binge rewatched Ninjago (cuz I was getting back into it) was so refreshing and I would even say I was magnified. Because of how the tone changed but in a good way, uk? Not only did like the story feel so much more captivating (for me) but exciting and interesting like DIEBWIHAY!:28!2@. And honestly? I PERSONALLY liked more these designs than the last ones. So the fact that people would pass off the opportunity to watch such a great season just because things are kinda different now. Stop assuming the worst just cuz something is different from what your used to. I understand that the change must be very like/ impacting for fans back then when they suddenly changed the designs that they had gotten used to and loved, but at the end of the day, being so clung to nostalgia just ends up ruining things for your just having a closed mind to discovering and experiencing new things that you might actually really like and enjoy, and honestly ruin it for others. Because you just have to ruin the mood by being all grumpy and upset everytime anyone brings up that new different thing.

That’s brings us to dragons rising, where people look at some snippets about it and automatically assume the worst like “ugh what did they do to Jay and coke they aren’t here 😢😒 “ or “ugh now one will ever replace morro as the master of wind- who the hell is this stupid pick me girl 😕🙄”(referring to Euphrasia and yes I have actually seen people calling her a pick me girl…) or even the example given by op ab wyldfire and Kai…and it feels like they’re already walking into these plataforms with a closed mind and looking at these spoilers already expecting the worst because I mean let’s be honest, any kind of change to them will be bad anyways so there’s no way of conforming to these ppl. Like I don’t know what they expected, obviously it isn’t gonna be the same as before it’s a basically a new series(a light spinoff) so of COURSE it’s gonna have new characters (with elemental powers because ofc it just makes everything more fun and interesting and etc) of COURSE they’re exploring new concepts and worlds and etc and this whole new freshness is also the reason why so many people love it because for many of us at least it does feel like Ninjago (heck they’ve been to the moon and the depths of the ocean I don’t think you can really pin point what feels like Ninjago or what not - uk what I mean? ) and yet it also offers so many new concepts and adventures for our favourite characters to go through as well as new characters - that not only introduces new dynamics but also helps build even more character for not only these new ones but for the old ones! And add new character arcs and etc (like Lloyd becoming a master or Kai having to deal with Wyldfire) . Just because an era is over doesn’t mean the new one will be trash or is Inherently bad. Keep an open mind and stop assuming the worst just cuz the old is dead. You should have seen the end of that era coming ever since it began.

AND YES- your totally entitled to proffering the og designs and the older seasons! Like obviously I should k be saying this. As well as you have every right to just simply dislike other seasons or the newer designs cuz they’re not your cup of tea. ok so instead of answering every anon individually ive decided to address it all in one post. Id like to start by thanking original anon for their last couple of anons. id also like to clarify some of what i said which seems to be getting misunderstood:

When i said i knew transfems who saw no issue with me posting what i posted, i did not intend this in an 'i have transfem friends so i cant be a transmisogynist' way. I meant that I am involved in trans circles and have friends who are transfem, some from the UK, the majority of which saw no real issue with me posting the video of lil nas in voldemort costume. I also had more transfems in my inbox who agreed than disagreed. This was not me trying to prove i was right, but trying to illustrate that I had been privy to discussions on JKR from transfems who condemn her and her franchise and have done independent research on the issue, and am not entirely uneducated. I clarify this as ive gotten many anons telling me to find the words of trans ppl online and educate myself, which is something that I have done multiple times in the past. people can be educated on a topic and still hold a different opinion/gen

I genuinely appreciate the people who have come to me to give their perspective, and I have not and will not respond to most of them, this includes people aggreeing and disagreeing with me. I am not trying to dodge the topic, it would just be unrealistic to address each one, some of which are very difficult to read due to grammar or lack of context, or are simply being very nasty. I do this when it comes to any issue that comes into my inbox. I have read each one of them with as open a mind as I could.

I will admit that yesterday I came across as dismissive and stubborn. I'm sorry for this. I have since tried to swallow my pride and be unbiased in how I regard whats been brought up. I acknowledge that many valid points were made and that some of what I've said has been wrong. I really hope that I haven't genuinely hurt people with all of this. I have decided to take the video down to avoid further mistakes on my part and to show that I acknowledge much of what people have said as being right. I still believe there is nuance to be had, but I think that my inbox is the wrong place to have it and that the right move is for me to continue genuinely considering things that were said, my own biases, and opinions. I think it will take more than 24h and is something I can do outside of my blog, by reading what is already told to me and examining myself. This may seem inconclusive but I'll try to clarify: as of right now I believe much of what has been said to me is correct, much of what I said was wrong, and that some is still for me to figure out. What I am going to do is take down the lnx video, do real self reflection and further research, absorb the opinions which are apart from mine, and make the decision to move further discourse away from the public of this blog and its posts as i dont feel its entirely productive for anyone involved. I am not a person of empty words.

My stance on the video was that HP is something not entirely avoidable but that nobody should support JKR via money or indirectly. I also believe that while people might still enjoy the franchise without supporting, that they should analyse the works for anti semitism, transphobia, and racism. I asserted that Lnx has monetarily supported trans causes and had not shown any support of JKR's views, and that posting his funny costume was likely not as big a deal as ppl said. I am currently reevaluating this stance on multiple points, mostly privately.

The anon who said about Tom getting covid - I initially had the impression Tom was very responsible during Covid because he was seen wearing masks in public a lot. I’m sure he got vaccinated etc. and I’m sure it’s difficult when your career is to some degree dependent on being in the public eye. I do agree in general we probably need to be careful not to blame people for getting covid at this point at least, it is becoming a part of life.

However, I vividly remember the situation in the run up to Xmas here in the uk, living in London. It was getting really serious, cases were spiralling up, everyone I know was on tender hooks every day waiting to see if Boris would announce new restrictions right ahead of Xmas and in that context I remember seeing Tom fly to the US (for a 24-hr round trip no less) to get his people’s choice award and then the unicef ball and the cabaret thing etc and the whole time I was thinking… this is a bit much. Not just him, but like why are the rest of us terrified Xmas is on the brink of being cancelled and yet the rich and famous are still throwing lavish parties, jet setting and socialising in big groups etc, it’s such bullshit. I had been alone in my flat for 2 years and barely seen anyone. I just wanted to see my mum and I was so worried the way things were going that it would be cancelled and she and I would spend a second Xmas completely alone. Dunno, it did shift my opinion a bit.

Also Tom said he had covid at/after Xmas… he was spotted in Waitrose apparently on the 30th, I don’t think you recover from covid so quick. Obvs I am not the one who spotted him so I don’t know the details but I’ve seen a few ppl mention this today following his interview with Kimmel and no matter how much I rate him I dont agree with that if it’s true. It was also definitely against the rules in the uk at the time to break quarantine.

Either way, I guess it’s just a reminder to me that I can think someone’s a great actor and appreciate things about them but I shouldn’t ever make the mistake of thinking what I see is the full story or put them on a pedestal. Probably not something I should be forgetting at this stage in adulthood but hey!

The thing is for me is that I think by last fall we had a pretty good handle on how to attempt to avoid getting Covid and also spreading it to other people and that if you were concerned about that you could be tested before you spent Christmas with family, could wear a mask when you’re together or you could stay 6 feet apart and you could still be together. Same with flying- most airlines require proof of vaccination and proof of a negative test before they let you on the plane and most of these award shows were also requiring proof of vaccination and negative Covid test to come into the show so, I’m sure he did everything he thought was right and then as we know sometimes it just gets through. Almost everyone I know who has been very careful about it has gotten it.

But I do agree with your statement about not putting celebrities on a pedestal and understanding there’s a lot going on behind the scenes in their lives that we are not privy to.

Argh, I'm going to cling to the belief that J and her hubby had separated but not yet made it public, because I don't want to believe that Ben got himself into a home wrecker mess. And that's just because I don't want to believe that ANYBODY would willingly get involved with a married/otherwise committed person. April/May 2020 - Jules and Brooksy are still 'fighting' for their marriage. She comments on his photos on IG and then couple days later...

28/29 May 2020 - joint statement for gossip mag about their amicable split ;c

July 2020 - Brooks and Jules celebrate her birthday together, Nina posted bout it obviously...

Late August 2020 - they were reportedly working on their marriage and having lunches together.

September/October 2020 - they were OFFICIALY reconciling on a farm or god knows where but there were videos of them, including some in her LA house... was looking good for them and poor Benny Boy was in Canada and UK (Shadow and Bone reshoots I think?) back then doing very sad 'please come back to me' covers.

November 2020 - Jules files for divorce which was actually going to be quick case cuz Brooksy was smart enough to get pre-nups.

December 2020 - Brooksy has a new girl in his life. Took the new flame to Iceland, Jules all but forgotten. She can’t bear that LOL Then a Blind Item comes out of nowhere about Jules using Benny to get back at her husband and Benny as the empath he is, follows his queen to the bottom.

Christmas 2020 - Benny went to UK to be with the fam. He posted and then deleted the ridiculous stories on 23th December. Clear the stories were meant for close circle and not whole IG.

New Year 2020/2021 - The Montana Shenanigans. He was in Montana most probably straight from the UK at least since 28th December. He was pictured in restaurant with Jules, Nina and her BF. March 2021 - there was this family award show with Ann Margaret. Jules was posting about it constantly, hyping it up. Then the show happened and;

a) Ben was her plus one but made sure he was not pictured

b) she was seen being uncomfortable as fuck and Ann Margaret gave her some shit too

c) after the show she went silent on all socials, but before that she posted some sad stories where she cried and then deleted them. 

End of May 2021 - Benny had a rough day and fan videos made him feel better. Ppl been speculating that no label wanted his music or that his twin flame informed him about her upcoming trip to Italy where she will be keeping company to rich guys. 

June/July 2021 - Jules goes with Nina to Europe to do some good ol' yachting and husband shopping. (numerous blinds about the second one...) and more importantly the dreadful emoji shitshow starts while they are ocean apart. 💖Star-crossed lovers one might say 💖

There was this one time too when some fans though that he was in France with her because she was somewhat quiet on social BUT our lovely Benny Boy posted another sad cover song (video was from his house) and not suspiciously at all added in the description that it was recorded over the weekend that ppl were speculating he was with Jules. 

There might be some more stuff in between I forgot about but that's the gist, courtesy of twitter/ig/some other places detectives. Do what u want with it but it stinks AF if I might say so.... Not the John Mulaney & Olivia Munn kind of stink where he explains the timeline on live TV but still.
