It was like he knew my body more than I did. Every step I took back from him, he took two more forward. Every second I stared at him, he spent hundreds more looking at me. Even now, with my back against the wall, his arm pulled me flush against his chest, and all I wanted - all I desired was to fall into him.

"Look at me," He said, his voice barely above a whisper as our foreheads were pressed together and our lips inches apart.

"Look at me, please," His voice pleaded. How did it come to this? How could I, a lowly Grisha, have managed to get the Prince Nikolai Lantsov, to be begging just for me to look at him?

My eyes slowly opened, meeting his intense and needy gaze. I could tell that he wanted to do was kiss me, to taste the cherries on my lips, but he restrained himself.

"We cannot be doing this," I let out, "you are engaged to Alina."

"I burn for you," He breathed out, his eyes burning into my own all of the emotions he held in for me.

"I spend every moment of every day wondering if you think of me. I search any room I enter in hopes of seeing a glimpse of your smile. You bring me to my knees at the very thought of you," He expressed.

"I would spend everyday running from my duties if it meant getting to kiss you one more time. So please, let me kiss you."

modern au, picture vince and jorge running each an illegal business (like dr*g or something) and they’re absolute enemies;

meanwhile thomas is vince’s son and minho is jorge’s, both work for their dads so are supposed to hate each other but they’re actually secret lovers??

the plot being about thominho being in love behind their dads’ backs meanwhile vince and jorge are fighting to ruin the other’s business and involving their sons into their toxic battle

add an hint of drama ofc, and maybe an enemies to lovers vinge side plot?

Dealing with the Stank

Okay, so- I had this idea cooking in my head for a little while and decided I might as well share my thoughts as part of a little treat!

After reading "Dog and Phony Show", I began questioning why the show never alluded to Randy getting stanked- of course, this is likely only due to him being the main character, but in context of the canon - this is quite an interesting thing to not have included within the show. Do Ninjas simply not get stanked because the suit is protecting them? Of course, there's also the fact

So, genuinely this whole thing happens because Randy either gets distressingly overwhelmed with being the Ninja OR it has to do with a ridiculous feeling of inferiority- (think something like what happened during the whole Lucius O' Thunderpunch fiasco, but you know, if it had done a little more realistically)

He does try to fight off the stank, but ultimately the Sorcerer manages to take over and Randy remembers briefly blacking out before ‘waking up’ in a daze- of course, he doesn’t have the foggiest what’s happening and feels this overwhelming urge to break free, and run… so he bursts out of wherever he’s in

I do view Randy as being this quadrupedal creature and has this fluffy mane but okay- first things first…

Stanked! Randy Headcanons

🧣 Randy would be themed either after an oriental dragon, a lion of sorts, or even… some sort of cheetah-looking creature. For some reason, this just makes sense to me-

🧣 He's going to be fast and that makes him harder to catch, but at the same time- I feel he might be slightly uncoordinated, letting himself be governed by present emotions

🧣 Randy will have purple somewhere on his stanked form- at least to make sure that it's him and not someone else. If I remember correctly, Dog and Phony Show had it as a mane and I think it would be a pretty cool feature to have!

🧣 I also feel that Randy isn't going to be easy to be destanked, but he also did attempt to resist- purely because he knows that as the Ninja, him getting overpowered by the Sorcerer is not ideal

🧣 He obviously doesn't have any of his powers as the Ninja- apart from being agile and lithe

Additional Thoughts + Analysis

If we're speaking on the angle of him getting stanked because of being overwhelmed, and that is putting it mildly, I imagine he's just full of anger and frustration which means the only way to destank him is by convincing the boy what he's doing is important- that he's capable, that he's a good Ninja. I honestly think that if the show were done for a more serious angle, he would be a little bound by the mantle he carries.

At some point, he reaches breaking point- feeling he can't juggle his own career, so to speak, as the Ninja and his own life as a high schooler which is what leads to his own 'demise' so to speak. In doing so, probably the only people who have the power to reverse the stank are Howard and Theresa for reasons to say the least- one being more obvious than the other.

As a bonus! This idea was cowritten between myself and a lovely mutual of mine @just-animaxiz featuring a non-canon take on "Into the Ninjaverse" - in an alternate reality where Spike, the leader of the punk bots, is the Ninja and Randy's a regular human... our favorite boy deals with a certain ahems loss to keep from spoiling the story too much. Overcome by grief, he falls pawn to the Sorcerer and goes on a violent rampage to the point he nearly ends McFist. This AU of course, is a lot deeper but I'd hate to ruin the fun so early.

Out of curiosity, and a quick show of hands- would anyone be interested in me writing a fic where Randy's stanked?

I might honestly do both versions- the one where he's stanked in a canon divergent timeline, and one for my beloved (/p) mutual.

Okay so I have a couple ideas rolling around my mind for Ronance fanfics. And by a couple I mean I have 4, 3 of which would/will be multi chapter… oops

Anyway, how do y’all feel about a Ronance summer fling fic where they end up meeting on vacation in San Antonio? Cause imagining Robin and Nancy walking down the riverwalk together, and lounging by the pool together, and maybe dancing in the pouring rain together makes me reeeeaaally want to write ^^

Another WIP I have with no title so far is for BNHA.

The basic premise is post Bakugou’s expulsion from UA and Aizawa’s teaching license being suspended until a proper review is handled. Nezu gathers the rest of the staff and figuring out how to approach the two (potentially three) open spots in the Hero Course in Class 1-A.

That’s the idea so far.

Funny thought that I may or may not expand into its own one shot later:

Gemini and P body swap.

Like, just imagine how Gemini would react to having an actual humanoid form and taking advantage of that immediately.

Meanwhile P can only watch in silent terror at the trouble Gemini gets into while looking like him. I mean, P gets in trouble all the time, but it's a different kind of trouble where the other residents of Hotel Krat just become utterly confused at "P's" suddenly more extroverted behavior.

Example:

Gemini (waving and doing all sorts of expressive hand motions while speaking): Heya Eugenie! How are you doing? You having a good morning so far? Watcha workin' on by the way? Oh, and good day to you Spring! Who's a good kitty?

Spring: *cautiously backs away from Gemini and retreats, hiding behind Eugenie*

Eugenie: I...uh...are you feeling okay P? Are you sick???

P (whispering): Gemini you're supposed to be acting like me.

Gemini: Oh, don't worry Pal. I got this!

P: I...*chirps and sighs as he gives up*

Smiling Critters Headcanon List

I'm having a weird hyperfixation with the Smiling Critters lately and I do want to make a comprehensible story out of my headcanons, but for more instant gratification, I'm just gonna make a list. So here goes! These will primarily pertain to the cartoon versions because that's where my head's at.

We shall start with one for each of the critters because they all deserve love.

Dogday's tail wags when happy, like the good boy he is.

Catnap purrs when happy. Also his tail is prehensile, which doesn't follow along with his species but it wouldn't fit anywhere else.

Bubba's trunk is prehensile. Helps when his hands are full.

Bobby scratches her back on trees when no one is watching. Works better than her own hands most of the time.

Hoppy likes hard chews/hard candies. A lot. Her teeth grow uncomfortable if she goes without one for a while.

Picky enjoys a good mud bath. This could be either the spa variant or the "It just finished raining" variant. Out of respect for her friends, she will take a normal bath afterward.

Kickin lives up to the stereotype of chickens being associated with cowardice. He's working on it but he's still the most susceptible to Catnap's sneaking around. However, if anything were to threaten his friends, he would kill for them.

Crafty probably has the most powerful legs out of the group. Followed closely by Hoppy who doesn't skip leg day. You do not want to be too close to Crafty if she's startled or, heaven forbid, angry.

So you know how friend groups may have some people more drawn to each other than others? If I had to make pairings for who in the group was closest to whom, it would go something like this.

Dogday and Catnap

Hoppy and Kickin

Picky and Crafty

Bobby and Bubba

And now we have a few that would be used in the fanfic if I have any motivation to write it after this. They're mostly Catnap-centric since he'd be the main character.

Each of the Smiling Critters has a scent that just sorta naturally happens (to correspond with the scents their toy versions dispense), but Catnap happens to have two. His natural scent is lavender, while his Red Smoke smells like poppies. This comes from the fact that Playtime Co. apparently put some weird ingredients in their Red Smoke that I think gave it a poppy smell? When the Catnap toy was supposed to smell like lavender. So he gets both in the cartoon world!

Catnap is in full control of his smoke, for the most part. It'll come out in small harmless puffs if he's sleeping, or if he does something like a sigh.

Catnap, ironically, is an insomniac. He has frequent nightmares that prevent him from sleeping and is immune to his own gas. (He'd probably be narcoleptic if he wasn't.) He tends to space out a lot during the day because of this.

Dogday is also an insomniac and suffers anxiety as the group's leader. He is the most dependent on Catnap's gas to help him sleep.

The gas is somewhat addictive. I'm not sure in this case that it would drive its consumers to manic episodes like that sleepover cartoon, especially considering it's meant to aid sleep, but regardless Catnap has learned to be careful with it. He's tried other methods of helping Dogday and the others sleep but usually ends up feeding the addiction.

He'll also use the gas for self-defense if left with no other options since a heavy enough dose can knock people right out.

Romance plays very little role in the Smiling Critters' world but Dogday and Catnap might have feelings for each other. (Yes I ship it, but only in the cartoon world.)

Catnap is by far the quietest of the group. Upon first meeting him one might think that he's mute. But rather, he can't (or at least doesn't) speak above a whisper. To talk with his friends in a group setting, he whispers to Dogday and lets his bestie relay his thoughts for him.

On that same note, Catnap's quietness often leads to him scaring his friends by just standing there when they don't expect it. Sometimes he does it on purpose.

And then we have the most important headcanon, the one that basically would set this whole story in motion:

Catnap still worships the Prototype

But with a few key differences because this is the cartoon world we're talking about.

He's not so much of a Prototype-Bible-Thumper. In fact, he doesn't tell the other Critters at all out of fear. Fear of mockery or rejection, and fear of what his god could do to them.

The Prototype shrine is underneath his house, is smaller, and is constructed out of various toys and scraps he's found lying around. The human skeleton at the front is more than likely some kind of doll instead.

The electrocution incident that leads to the worship is caused by some faulty/exposed wiring. Perhaps his natural curiosity leading him into dangerous situations.

I can't say for certain that the Prototype is a benevolent god in-game, but he's certainly not here. He keeps Catnap under his thumb through fear more than anything else, he's the cause of Catnap's nightmares, which often portray gruesome deaths of himself and his friends, and he could drive Catnap to insanity at any given point. He could also give the poor kitty an existential crisis by revealing that he lives in a TV show or giving him visions of his "Bigger Bodies" self, but I haven't quite decided on that yet. Basically, Prototype's an asshole and Catnap stays due to both a life debt and fear of punishment.

And that, I think, about sums up the whole story premise I had without me having a proper structure for it. So yeah! The instant gratification monkey is happy.

Ok so like it’s sorta like beast!Wirt except his soul isn’t in the lantern *yet* he still has to light it.

His step dad gets a job in gravity falls and so they all move there.

Wirt obviously hates it bc spooky woods are a huge Nono thx trauma.

Meets Dipper and they work together to reveal the mysteries of the unknown and junk. Oh btw Wirt lot the candle and now is starving bc he doesn’t wanna hurt anyone

WIP Wednesday #3

This WIP is a hypothetical idea about the next story in my Pauline series. There will be changes should I continue with this.

“Wow, this place is truly magnificent!” Pauline said to herself as she ambled through a long hallway inside Princess Peach’s castle. Although she absorbed a lot when the host princess personally gave her a tour, she was still in awe of how splendid the palace really was. It was certainly grander than New Donk City Hall, that’s for sure! She took in as many sights as possible as she continued her trek, with the iridescent rays from the full moon illuminating the hall through the window.

After some time, Pauline finally reached her destination: the kitchen. She got lost along the way; however, she fortunately came across a Toad guard, who generously pointed her in the right direction. As she stepped onto the white tile floor, she marveled at the sheer size of the room as well as all of the fancy equipment on display. After she finished admiring everything, she made her way to the refrigerator and grabbed two slices of cake, followed by her closing the door and exiting the kitchen.

As Pauline made the trip back to her room, she couldn’t help but feel guilty. Despite Peach telling her she could help herself to the food in the kitchen at any time, it still felt wrong. She shook her head and chuckled to herself as she walked down the hallway with the slices in tow. During her trip, she came across a sight that caught her attention.

Outside on the balcony was someone leaning on the balcony while staring at the moon. Based on the height and silhouette, Pauline had a good idea who it was. With her curiosity piqued, she placed the saucers on a small round table nearby before quietly opening the French doors and stepping onto the balcony. Upon reaching the person, she placed a gentle hand on the person’s shoulder, causing him to flinch and immediately get into a defensive position. Once he recognized her, his body language softened, and he rubbed the back of his head with an embarrassed chuckle.

“Oh, it’s only you Pauline,” the man said in relief.

“Yes, Mario. It’s only little old me,” Pauline returned the chuckle.

remember that angst idea? yeah- I decided to share it anyway!

So, because I made a c.AI bot for my own personal uses- I was hit with a very wild idea of my own design… it’s sort of, well, set in the past using an alternate universe. The starring main duo are the First Ninja who will be getting a name soon and Human! Nomicon (for the sake of the au, they’re brothers! whether this is ‘canon’ to my lore is up for debate) - there is also an alternative version with Rei Izumi but we’ll talk about that one separately!

Here’s honestly my thoughts for the entire AU- (buckle in and hold on to your seatbelt, y’all! This one’s going to be a doozy-)

🗡️ The First Ninja and Nomi are the sole survivors of the Norisu Clan. Ever since the demise of their siblings- they have attempted to continue tradition. The First Ninja is now the sole protector of Norrisville (even though the Sorcerer has been dealt with, he can’t find it in himself to stop-). On the other hand, Nomi is still young and becomes a scribe but he also has ninja training

🗡️ Nomi becomes more reserved than he was previously. He can’t bring himself not to focus on his own studies

🗡️ The First Ninja also begins to act differently- (he still remembers the destruction and the fire, the screams as he was forced to helplessly watch)

🗡️ Somewhere down the line, Finja and Nomi decide to begin working on the NinjaNomicon - to create a tome to store the teachings and wisdom of the Ninja; for the future holder of the mantle

🗡️ Unfortunately- someone else becomes power-hungry and Finja is sent out to deal with the problem, undergoing a mission while Nomi continues staying in Norrisville but things inevitably… go south

🗡️ Due to still cartoon-based logic- and because this is angst- the Sorcerer manages to be freed from his prison and captures the First Ninja. He holds him hostage inside the depths of an underground cave, determined to make him suffer before killing him

🗡️ One of Finja’s allies manages to report to Nomi who immediately jumps ship at rescuing his brother- no matter what happens, Nomi is not about to let his brother die at the hands of the Sorcerer

🗡️ After a lot of searching- Nomi manages to find the cave and sneaks inside, startled to see his older brother weakened and bound by enchanted chains. (He does not take this well, at all-)

🗡️ Having learned magic, Nomi is desperate to cast a counter-spell but before he can fully free his brother- the Sorcerer and Nomi are now locked in a duel. The problem is Nomi’s not mastered his abilities yet- as he is a teenager and still learning

🗡️ Nomi is slowly weakening against the Sorcerer but he’s fueled by the determination to protect his brother and in a sudden act of rage- he manages to knock the Sorcerer back and due to the power of ‘I said so’ - the Sorcerer is sealed away back in his prison but Nomi is exhausted and barely manages to stay upright

🗡️ Unfortunately, Finja is also immensely weak- bruised and battered- and they hardly have the energy to do much. I’m going to ignore what actually happened with the c.AI and say either Rei shows up to get them out of there before they inevitably pass out or Nomi uses the last bit of his strength to escape the cave with Finja

🗡️ I’m not entirely sure what happens after this but let’s just say that the recovery period happens and eventually they manage to complete the NinjaNomicon and well, I do have a bad ending version for this because I’m mean but at the same time, if things play out well, everything goes back to normal

This is still being fleshed out! Nothing is concrete for the time being! I might honestly turn this into yet another fanfiction- I have constant brainrot and far too many WIP’s this is a problem, holy shit

So...turns out I have polls!

So...I guess for my first poll I'm gonna ask: a few months ago I came up with an Aemond Targaryen centered fic, where, due to a freak storm, he winds up in a modern day westeros where the Dance of the Dragons never happens. Should I still write this? It's been a serious plot bunny as of late and I'm already coming up with a Playlist for it (might even make it a musical fic!)
