I like to think that Vulcans who come to understand that Humans just can’t try to process emotions the same way as them, it’s just healthiest to let it out in harmless ways, decide that venting and stuff should be taken just as seriously as Vulcan’s meditation time, and will encourage the Humans around them to complain about what’s upsetting them

Diavolo had been showered with praise his whole life. Of course he was, he was the ruler of the Devildom! He had grown up being constantly loved by the people, he was royalty, and they would all love him appropriately. But oh, how he hated it. Sure, hed smile and nod when approached by the faceless demon who would love and compliment him for whatever reason. But he hated it. He hated that everyone would repeat the same sickening phrases, almost like a script, to get whatever they wanted from him. It was so stupid in his eyes; he was tired of it.

So why, when you complimented him, did his heart beat faster than usual? Why did he want to hear more; to have you hold his face and tell him everything you ever loved about him? Maybe it was because you truly saw him; not the scary tall demon, not the prince of Hell, not the rich and powerful man he was. You saw him as Diavolo. Maybe, he had truly learned what love felt like, and he was not going to let it get away from him.

He would do whatever it took to get any form of affection from you. He found himself taking extra care of himself in the morning, the tireless routine becoming almost exciting now. He would wait, a moment alone or even just a glance back at him, so that you'd smile at him and possibly even grace him with the sweet melody that was your accolades.

Super sappy and specific hc, but I think it’s the tiny details that would make Sokka truly fall in love with Zuko.

I hc that Sokka would wear lots of jewelry, and because he’s such an animated talker and is constantly focusing on new things, his jewelry would flip or spin often without him noticing. Zuko would always be the first to notice when his jewelry flips over or when the clasp falls to the front. Just a simple moment where Sokka’s in the middle of explaining some new project or jotting notes down, Zuko would quietly reach over to fix Sokka’s astray jewelry for him without interrupting, just because he knows Sokka would hate it if he found out later on that he walked around all day with with his jewelry flipped. That simple moment of thoughtfulness would be what makes Sokka realize he’s truly in love.

I love the QSMP. Not only has it introduced me to many amazing international creators, it's also introduced me to the French and Brazilian community, who are so sweet, funny, and chaotic in their own unique ways. I love seeing fans sharing their culture and learning from one another, and I myself have learned a lot this past year. I think it's incredible how QSMP brings so many different people together – all of us united in our love and passion for this project and its goals.

But passion can often evoke strong emotions, and these strong emotions aren't always positive.

The past few months, I have seen multiple waves of hate, bad-faith generalizations of communities, and racist remarks directed at fellow fans – especially those who are part of the French / Brazilian community. This kind of behavior is inexcusable, and is in direct conflict with the mission of QSMP, which is to break language barriers and unite communities.

We are a global community with a variety of people from different backgrounds. Miscommunications may occasionally occur because of cultural differences and/or language barriers, but we should use these moments as opportunities to learn and engage with other people rather than assuming the worst about them and starting fights.

Although certain issues can be resolved with communication, sometimes it’s better to block and move on. Avoid spreading negativity or hate, and save yourself the headache of interacting with people who are just looking for someone to argue with.

No matter what community we're a part of or what languages we speak, we're all here to have fun. Please remember to be kind to each other. We have more in common than we have in conflict.

it is kind of crazy to me that we live in such a polarized, absurdly nationalistic, patriotic country and yet when evidence that nearly 50% of bald eagles, our national bird and icon of America, suffer from chronic lead poisoning and one third from acute lead poisoning there is not some massive outcry to fix this instantly. people are just like nooooooo but i wanna keep using lead fishing weights :((((( and the NRA is like over my dead body will you take our lead ammunition

like obviously this affects other types of animals too but i would've thought that the bald eagle would be THE charismatic species for the USA to take action on behalf of but. nope
