Posthumous albums are strange. They leave you wondering how the artist would feel about the album or what they would have changed. Does this make the music more powerful in a way? I like to think that it does, especially if you know the events leading to Jason's death. Even without knowing this story, the album is one of the most emotionally devastating I've ever heard. There's a level of melancholy in Jason's vocals and stripped back instrumental work that is hard to even put into words. So put it on and buckle up for one truly moving ride.

am I the only one who's wondering if we'll ever get to hear the second album Liam was working on before his death? like, partially, I don't want it released if it means others will profit off this tragedy, but I also feel like he deserves to be heard one last time. And I have a feeling whatever he was working on was really special. I've always had high hopes that he would release something phenomenal in time, and the idea that he won't get the chance to do so breaks my heart. even if posthumously, I'd love to support whatever he was working on. I want to hear his voice one last time before I really have to say goodbye...

Personally, I hate the name of this album (Unstoppable). I'm trying my hardest to try & look at it as, her spirit and legacy being "invincible" and "never ending" - 10 years from today she will STILL be a trending topic and her haters might as well get over it. I mean, for someone who only been in the game 6-7 years (less than that if you don't want to count her taking a small hiatus to finish school), she left one hell of a mark and 20+ years later her legacy is STILL strong & heavily felt throughout the music industry.

Logan Whitehurst's Very Tiny Songs is such a bittersweet project because on one hand, the tracks are a lot of fun, and you can tell Logan was enjoying himself making them. Just taking a bunch of requests from friends, family and fans without worrying too much about how they sounded. On the other hand, even though it's played mostly light, there's the sprinkling in of vaguely existential lyrics throughout it that constantly reminds you WHY he made this and it's just.

The song 'Vanilla's Love Life', which is *literally* a song about how his plastic snowman light gets bitches, made me tear up because it had the lines "Vanilla the plastic snowman / he has so much life to live / he has so much love to give" . It's so weird man.
