I made a little fluff snippet of a story I've sat on for a bit, just because I kept forgetting it. But it's all ages, and just a little slice of life piece to get my juices flowing again 😊

"Mabel, sweetie, I reeeeeeally don't wanna spend my day off takin' care of your pig. I was plannin' on goin' out with Y/N for a date night." Stan said in a pleading way, looking down at Mabel and Waddles at his feet.

"Aw, babe," you said, wrapping your arms around the back of his neck and kissing it. "Mabel wants to see Grenda and Candy for the day...I don't mind, as long as I'm with you."

Mabel beamed at you, appreciating the support. "Grunkle Stan....Pleeeeeeeeeeeeese?" And turned on the puppy dog eyes.

You both watched Stan close his eyes, shift his head back, then groan. "Fine, damnit. But you're workin' the gift shop with Wendy durin' the rush on the weekend! Dipper is too googly eyed to keep up!"

"YAAAAAAY! Thank you so much, Grunkle Stan and Y/N! IloveyouIloveyouIloveyou!" And Mabel squeezed you both by the waist for a ridiculously tight hug. "I'm going to go make an instruction list for him, then I have to go get my nail polish, grappling hook, and my new copy of Daylight: Because Romance Doesn't End at Twilight!"

She ran out of the room squealing, and Stan looked at you with his eyebrows furrowed. "I don't have a frickin' clue what that kid just said, but I guess we're pig sittin' tonight..." And he looked down at Waddles. "Just remember: You're a pig, and I enjoy breakfast for dinner...And I don't mind bacon with my Stancakes!"

"Dear, you're ranting to a pig. He doesn't understand," you said behind him, trying not to crack up.

"Yeah, like hell he doesn't." And he gave him stink eye, all while Mabel sped past them both, leaving a list, and saying goodbye with a backpack in tow.

"Don't wait up 'cause me and the girls got some reading to do!" And she was gone.

You waved goodbye to Mabel out the door as Stan gave Waddles the stink eye, while the pig snorted at his feet. "Bah," he said, shaking his foot at him.

"It's very nice of you to let Mabel go see her friends and read awful romance novels with them. She needs that," and you put your arm around Stan's, and gave him a peck on the cheek that melted him slightly. "You really are a great uncle."

His face went pink when you said that, and he turned his head away. The man knew how to handle potshots, criticism, and insults, but give him a compliment that let him know he does well by his great niece and great nephew, and he "gets glitter in the eyes."

"Thanks," he said, a light sniffle was there, but you brushed it off. "This damn pig means a lot to her, and I love her to bits...Just don't tell 'er I said that."

"I'll keep that in mind, handsome. I'm going to take him, and give him a wash, and get him fed....You play your cards right, we might be able to get him to bed early and snuggle," you said coyly, winking at him.

"Sounds like a plan to me, babe," and he gave you a firm wap on the butt, and a kiss on the forehead.

I took a nap, and had a dream where I had to travel up to Rochester, NY to get Ford and Stan. I got them home before my husband had to go to work, yet my house morphed into my parents' house, and I kept running all around them while they sat on the couch.

I was trying my absolute best to keep them both from seeing my Shrine, all while cleaning, and trying to call my friend to get her ass over to the house 😂

The last few days have been bizarre times with dreams, but I did quite enjoy this one. Seeing Stan and Ford was a highlight, even if it wasn't spicy.

I'm thinking of trying to make my own Stan, and depending on how he comes out, Ford as well, but from the Chibiverse. I'm on the fence on how to make them body wise, so:

After the reveal, Stan initially doesn't want to tell Ford his (former) internet best friend was Bill Cipher, because he doesn't want him to worry. Stan later doesn't want to tell Ford because he (and Bill) would rather die.

favorite stan twins characterization is that they're both equally insane. stanley just gets more air time to show it off. loosely inspired by a post i read earlier but here's some absolutely insane things both of them have done

stanley:

drugged a person and turned them into an exhibit in the mystery shack

had a vegas wedding to a prospector-themed novelty dispenser

gave mabel a grappling hook

failed to steal an animatronic badger

chewed his way out of the trunk of a car

punched at least three bald eagles

is multiply divorced, possibly even with the novelty dispenser

committed premeditated murder on a llama

faked a heart attack to get on Wheel of Fortune

took his clothes off in front of a live studio audience on Wheel of Fortune

has a rivalry with a fifth grader, a grandmother, and a man who exclusively dresses like a corn cob

stanford:

pulled a gun on a bus driver when he wouldn't let a pig on board

directly assisted in mind-controlling ronald reagan during his election in 1980

gave mabel a crossbow

got bitten by a vampire bat and subsequently began sampling human blood

owns contraband outlawed in 9000 dimensions; keeps it in an extremely flimsy plastic case

"accidentally" set a hawk on fire

has exes ranging from as normal as his old college buddy to as weird as a triangle and an alien with 7 eyes who put a metal plate in his head

wears turtlenecks because he's hiding multiple tattoos he regrets, including one themed around "all star" by smash mouth

is an Extremely wanted criminal across hundreds of dimensions; was completely kicked out of one for card counting

is, bizarrely, super into the band Eurythmics

can see shrimp colors

MY FAVORITE PART ABOUT GRAVITY FALLS IS THE HAPPY ENDING!! STAN REMEMBERS!! FIDDLEFORD FORGIVES!! PACIFICA HAS FRIENDS!! SOOS BECOMES MR. MYSTERY!! THE TWINS HAVE A BANGING BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!!! DIPPER GETS A MEMENTO FROM WENDY!! MABEL GETS TO KEEP WADDLES!! STAN AND FORD MAKE UP AND SAIL AWAY ON THE STAN O' WAR II!! THE WORLD ALMOST ENDED!! BUT IT DIDN'T!! AND WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD IT IS!!!!
