being an artist and revisiting media you liked when you were 11 is like. oh ok. this shaped my sense of humor and the way I write characters and the way I pace narratives and the tropes I'm drawn to. and I vastly underestimated how much of an impact it had on me because I literally have not thought about it for 15 years. but it was there inside me the whole time. ok. ok cool! c ool

Just realised that "-ass", when used as a suffix, has the same meaning as "-esque". Gonna start using them interchangeably. Kafka-ass dystopia

so last year during a period of intense suicidal depression i made this necklace that i always wear, right, and the thing is it's genuinely brought me a lot of comfort and relief and i've developed a strong sentimental attachment to it, to the point that i can inarguably state that it's had a net positive effect on my mental wellbeing. however i did now just have to stop to almost throw up laughing because i realised that i've succumbed to the amulet.

*Demands that both of you wear historically accurate 1600s clothes during the act (black clothes, stockings, belt buckles on hats, etc.) . Insists you talk in a period accurate way for the entire duration. Announces they’re horny by going “Hear ye! Hear ye!”. Prays to the lord before and after sex. Most of which is done fully in the dark (for accuracy), unless it’s a roleplay type of night where they will accuse you of being an evil witch and visiting the devils sacrament, and then demand that you seduce them with your witch powers.
