Tommy absolutely drives a Toyota Land Cruiser in grey. One of the newer ones that’s lighter weight. The five-seater with the rack on top because he paddle-boards and kayaks with friends (and is usually the designated driver). On days off, he likes to take it down the roads and trails of So-Cal for an early-morning excursion.

the general consensus is that Tommy has one fun car and one practical car and this is a good contender for the practical vehicle

the car debate has been a lot of fun ngl I love reading everyone's tags on that post! it's been very opinionated and it's cool to see how everyone would see this character and his choices

#it's a small thing in the grand scheme of things but if y'all could say a prayer for my job I'd appreciate it #THANKFULLY our boss has maintained a good and helpful and friendly attitude and isn't contributing to the stress #(she bought us lunch today! she's checking in on people! she's back to her old self)#(I'm actually gonna miss this side of her)#but work has been stressful #I kind of just drifted through today because I couldn't focus on much #we're in limbo and we're down one office person (we can manage but it's tight) and my boss is retiring and the potential new boss is iffy #and we've got fundraisers coming up and a lot of question marks #two people have cried today #possibly three #we have a team meeting on Friday just to debrief and regroup and I know the coordinator team will be negotiating for a raise #and I would possibly be including in that since my duties include picking up the slack and I've worked hard to cross-train #I'm the Jack of all trades here (which I like; that's a role I tend to take on and I'm ok with it)#I could REALLY use a raise but we've got a delicate balance and I don't want it upset #so...yeah #I wish it was warm enough to garden I need to tell it to the tomatoes

is the actual pattern of white spotting genetic? theres these two cats on youtube (mother and daughter) who have a spot on their muzzle in about the same place so i was wondering

We have a fairly good hint for that, i think: cloned cats.

The differences between the donor and the clone shows how much of it is random:

These are the very first pair: Rainbow, the tortie is the donor and CC, the tabby is her clone. You can see how the amount of the white is roughly the same but the exact shape is different. (Rainbow's color goes down onto both of her forelegs, CC has a higher and wider triangle on her face, they have colored splatches on different legs. However both of them have mostly white ears.)

Two other examples: Garlic

and Bear.

This latter one is especially interesting, because both clone kittens have the characteristic face pattern in a very similar fashion.
