Short answer: they all would be chill w/ each other, but they would be avoiding contact with their counterparts as possible.

At first, CCTL would be absolutely alarmed about some random portal popping into their world. Then, pops out their portal selves.

Considering the entry “A Better World” in journal 3, Ford would take initiative to separate everyone from their parallel selves.

All due to this experience:

Ford would know this more than PPC!Shermie since he has spent more time outside in the portal. PM!Stan may had attempted to avoid staying in parallel universes much due to his experiences on the run, so he also knows this.

In comparison to his brothers who are fine with this unusual happening, CC!Shermie would be absolutely perplexed. Shermie practically missed out on the crazy shi in canon lmao- But eventually, he relaxes himself to not having a heart attack. Somehow.

The angst potential alone haunts me. How long do you think he waited for Ford?? When did it start to sink in that nobody was coming to save him, that nobody would miss him? Would anybody even want him back? How long did it take for his anger, his heartbreak, his grief to turn into acceptance and a belief that this was divine retribution? How long did he work, how many jobs did he take, how much wealth did he accrue, how many brushes with death did he have until he believed he’d “earned” the right to go home and see his brother?? Many such questions. I need to go deeper
