Orsinio doesn't like parabola. He has bad memories with nemesis and with Miles, and generally doesn't like how it makes his head feel fuzzy. However I want to see him in situations and my brain landed back on parabola
He has the ire of the beleaguered king AND the red handed queen because of his chessboard battles so there's a lot of danger he could get into
Specifically though I've been thinking about gardening in Parabola. He has high KT and there are many toxins to learn about. Those which work in parabola, and those which you can take outside of parabola to use on someone in the Is.
He interacts with parabola through a fairy tale lens so he'd see things as poison fruits, or sentient thorns, or poppy fields.
Fruit: How does one eat in Parabola? It comes in a variety of colors, forms, and effects. The plants may be shaped by the dreams of the gardener. Some may heal. Some may harm. Bringing them beyond the mirror is a delicate and rewarding ordeal.
Thorns: How does one bleed in parabola? A flowering vine entangling you, pulling you into a trap. Fronds moving to bring jewel toned berries to your lips. Lost in an overwhelming daze. Why not indulge? You're comfortable, why would you want to escape the tangle? Dangerous to stop fighting, but oh so easy to. Fighting makes the trap even more intense.
Poppies: How does one sleep in parabola? Cosmogone petals and viric stems, lulling one into a false sense of security with their simple beauty. Wandering into a field and getting lost till you can't stay awake anymore. Very dangerous. Have to wait for parabola to become fickle and shift, or someone to come rescue you.
In any case: the body left slumbering or hollow while the mind is trapped. A careful combination of glasswork and toxicology to gain enough control over the dreamscape to escape—or to wield such things as weapons.

I use resources, I do not own the info, and most deep dives have UPG (that I use in my work.) And I only take some information from sources. I am 14, this is my hobby, I am learning but I spent many hours and days on this, and I am always open to criticism. I have been doing worship for 5 years. Please know you can use the info, I do not sue, but I will take action if this work is used without permission and not put as a resource if used in any work. without permisson and not put as a resource if used in any work, for the public.

glinda bouquet 💐
BOUQUET - create a bouqet for them! what do those flowers mean? are any of the flowers their particular favourite? Ha! during the sessions Charlie brought a few bouquets to her. Not like we have too much time for the romance, but I always try to find the way to show his adoration. First-was the one in the beginning of their relationships, made of roses and raspberry. He fell in love when he saw her soul, and her soul smelled like raspberries. Also the thorns and sweet soft berries fit a dark faerie quite well! That's the reason I include raspberry in the drawings quite often.
The second one was made of salami. no particular meaning. They started dialogue about toreadors, then toreadors (vampires) became toreadors who fight bulls, then she thought about blood and wanted to check how many roses she will need to cover her bed sheets and then Charlie promised to bring her a bouquet made of salami because roses was too cliché
But yes, we're talking flowers! I always considered poppies to be her flower! As a symbol of death, sleep and rebirth. She almost died as a changeling when she was 14, but instead fall asleep when she was 35, when she met Charlie. She got new chance and very different life, that lasts much longer than changelings usually live. She is free to travel the world, to follow her heart. The pretty wild flower made of blood and sleepy tears <3

do warriors have basic herb or medicine knowledge in your rewrite? i found it odd how warriors have to go to the medicine den for basic stuff like getting a thorn out of their paw. girl use your teeth bc that’s literally all the medicine cat did?
idk i feel like apprentices should learn first aid 101. cobwebs for bleeding, how to help with choking, best ways to keep clean minor scratches, what is and isn’t a poison
Nah, BB!Cats know next to nothing about herbs by default, only what they learn from eventually getting injured. Poppy seeds make you sleep, apply pressure to stall bleeding, etc.
Common poison knowledge does follow from cooking, though. "This is a rowan berry. Fermented they are safe, but it's a deathberry when green. Yew berries are always red and always a deathberry. This mushroom is safe but this mushroom is, in fact, a deathberry."
As for splinters personally I have never been able to pull out a splinter on my own without wailing like a big baby so really I think it's the psychological thing of it all. "OOGH AGH OWIE LEAFPOOL HELP." That's a good impulse if they're going to the Cleric whenever they need help, honestly. It means the doctor is trusted.

i wanted to save these when I introduce the final four members (technically it’s three, but my orderly ass said no), but nah. Also, because these characters and many more to come are part of the Super Mario universe, they will interact with the official and main Mario cast at some point (preferably after the Primus Empire is saved...which doesn’t permanently got rid of crime in the end, but it’s better than organized ones at least).
btw: it’s no longer Zapp shown here but “Drena” since I’ve been developing this story for months; xe is a member of a detective agency called The Sharpeye

So... I really liked how in the beginning there were names which felt clan-specific, but the series was never very consistent about it. Therefore, I created my own "base" of clan prefixes and suffixes to draw from! In this post, I'll be going over Thunderclan, the first clan we really get to see. Enjoy :) Thunderclan
Common prefixes Sun(ny)- Thorn/y- Ash(en)- Ivy- Fern- Cinder/Soot- Dust- Frond- Mouse- Sand-
Rarer prefixes Wood(y)- Bramble- Bracken- Berry- Squirrel- Chip(munk)- Maple- Red- Fire/Flame- Spark(y)- Ember- Blue- Moss(y)- Lichen- Rock- Red- Rose- Poppy- Lightning- Flash- Jay/Jade- Lily- Lynx- Snow- Icicle- Spot(ted)- Speckle(d)- Sweet- Willow- Holly- Sorrel- Fast- Mistle- Leaf- Brindle(d)- Thistle- Sharp- Honey- Thick(et)- Rodent- Raven- Cone/Conifer-

"A rose has thorns as well as honey, I’ll not have her for love or money; An iris grows so straight and fine, That she shall be no friend of mine; Snowdrops like the snow would chill me; Nightshade would caress and kill me; Crocus like a spear would fright me; Dragon’s-mouth might bark or bite me; Convolvulus but blooms to die; A wind-flower suggests a sigh; Love-lies-bleeding makes me sad; And poppy-juice would drive me mad:— But give me holly, bold and jolly, Honest, prickly, shining holly; Pluck me holly leaf and berry For the day when I make merry."
Christina Rossetti, "A Rose Has Thorns as Well as Honey"

Favorite type of food to eat (Inferno Eclipse edition)
Bough: anything that's homemade and hella HOT (made with love) (Poppy was kinda optimistic about Bough trying some 'Pop' foods, sadly after eating one bite of the food becomes so sick and throws up) (Pop food is so extremely sweet, other genres don't usually eat it)
Alloy 'ram' Thorns: semi sweet food and berries (similar to 'Pops' food)
Frontier: his Mamas home-made cherry pie (or any kind of pie)
Havoc: literally any food (mostly Frontier's and Bough's cooking (Thorns is NEVER allowed in the kitchen after he burned water, the others did not know how if that was even possible to do so)
