The Lost Boys: What they like in other people
Marko
- creativity
- Absolutely HATES the idea of blending in
- Hence why his jacket is so different from his brother’s jackets
- He’s drawn to creative people who outwardly express their creativity with their appearance
- This is why he loves the board walk!! There are TONS of people who dress originally and In an unapologetic way
- I think one of his biggest struggles with being a vampire is that he can’t be outside during the day, and it’s not because he misses the sun or the warmth, it’s because thats the time of day people are usually outside creating wall murals, doing chalk art, painting landscapes.
- He misses interacting with those artists
- So, if he is at the board walk and just so happens to see someone set up with an easel, painting the lights of carnival rides, you BET that boy is going to introduce himself
- And find out everything there is to know about you
- And try to convince you to stay in Santa Carla forever with him
Paul
- Music taste
- Paul is a music snob
- He will totally judge a person based off the music they listen to, and will, on many occasions, choose his victims based off their poor music taste
- His favorite place on the Boardwalk is the record store
- It’s run by this older lady who shares Paul’s love for music
- He goes in at least once a week to say hi, and discuss music with her
- I feel like her name is Gretchen, but Paul insists on calling her Gretch
- He usually sits behind the cash register and talks to her in between customers
- And if it’s one of those nights where Paul can’t sit still, Gretchen makes him unload boxes in the back room and set up any new displays
- She LOVES to play matchmaker with Paul
- Because she is the only record store around, she knows the music taste of most people who live in Santa Carla
- So she try’s to find Paul a date, by matching up his music taste with a regular’s
- This usually doesn’t work out, but she LOVES to try
- *whispers* “look at her Paul! Isn’t she lovely?? And she listens to Motley Crüe!”
- He went on one date that Gretchen set him up on, and it didn’t end too well….so he swore he would never do it again.
- Let’s just say that the girl smelled a little TOO good and he couldn’t stop himself from having a taste
- He cares too much about Gretchen’s companionship to ruin it with him loosing control and eating all her customers
Dwayne
- kindness
- The boys don’t get shown a lot of kindness because…you know…they kill people and stuff
- But that doesn’t mean they don’t have feelings!!
- Dwayne might be the silent, stern type, BUT if anyone shows him the tiniest bit of kindness this man will become your devoted follower
- He may be a vampire, but he remembers what it was like to be human, and how easy it is to be selfish and just plain mean
- He also remembers that kindness is a choice
- And the kindest people tend to be the strongest
- Being kind to him is one thing, he might keep an eye out for you on the boardwalk in case you find yourself in trouble, or change your tire if you get a flat.
- But
- If your kind to Laddie?
- Maybe he got lost and you helped him find his way back to the boys? Or bought him a ice cream? Or maybe even helped him reach an arcade game he so desperately wanted to play?
- Oh boy.
- You just found your self a guardian watch dog angel. Trust me when I saw NO ONE will lay a hand on you or look at you the wrong way EVER and live to tell the tale
- And if you just so happen to be his type?
- Well, I hope you like Santa Carla because you won’t be leaving
David
- courage
- He admires someone who can stand there ground
- Who can get in the face of a surfer nazi and tell them where they can stick it
- Who won’t put up with Paul and Marko teasing them, and will dish it right back to them!
- Who won’t be intimidated and has no problem telling him and the boys “no” with a smile on their face
- Someone who doesn’t give a flying you-know-what about what anyone has to say to them about hanging around him and his boys
- Their confident in their decisions, even the bad ones
- When offered a drink from that sparkly bottle they give him a wink, and take a huge swig!
- And PROMPTLY spit it out all over their prized poster, because like HELL will you be tricked into doing anything you don’t want to do

Is this how you request a fic? I have no idea but I’ll try. I’m craving Regina George content. Can you please write something where reader is apart of the plastics but she’s not mean like the rest of them and that’s why Regina likes her. When Cady shows up and Regina has an interest in cady it’s too make reader jealous but instead cady ends up liking reader who distances herself from the plastics and then Regina gets jealous and admits her feelings so reader doesn’t end up with cady. If that makes sense? Thank you!
Craving Your Attention (Regina George X Plastic!Reader)
Masterlist
Request Something!
Summary: Regina George is the queen of North Shore High and she doesn’t like to share her toys, even if she doesn’t really play with them.
A/N: kinda toxic!regina even tho thats not really a surprise. slight cady x reader, she likes you instead of aaron (also aaron doesn’t exist teehee). The girls arent homophobic bc cady tells gretchen she likes reader and regina ends up with reader (saying this bc idk if youre gonna read this with 2004 regina or 2024 regina in mind, and obviously 2004 was a different time lmao) content warning for diet talk but it’s just part of one scene. Heavily relied on the mean girls (2004) script for this fic, so it's almost all written centered around Cady. all in third person which felt a lil weird to write because i usually write in second person lol idk if anyone’s gonna want a part 2 but imma lyk rn that im not planning on writing a part 2, mainly bc this took so painstakingly long
***
Everyone at North Shore High knew about Regina George. They’d be stupid not to. She was practically royalty.
A queen bee was nothing without her little worker bees. First was Karen Smith. She seemed to give a whole new meaning to the word ‘clueless,’ but she was friendly. In more ways than one.
Then there’s Gretchen Wieners. She was Regina’s eyes and ears, whether it was wanted or not. All she wanted to do was please her leader.
And finally, there was Y/n L/n. If any of the plastics were to be deemed approachable, it was her. She was Regina’s right-hand girl, maybe even a bit more than that. But no one ever brought that up.
But then Cady Heron came to North Shore.
“Is he bothering you?” Regina tilted her head as she looked at the redheaded girl and the familiar boy who was talking to her. Y/n, who was sitting next to Regina, looked up from her food in curiosity. Regina didn’t usually talk to anyone outside of the table during lunch. The girl made a nondescript noise, so Regina turned her attention to the boy. “Jason, why are you such a skeez?”
Jason rolled his eyes, but tried to seem polite.
“I’m just being friendly.”
“You were supposed to call me last night,” Gretchen pouted, looking over her shoulder at Jason.
“Jason.” Attention was brought back to Regina with the simple call of his name. She wore a sweet smile, which meant that Jason was probably about to get a bite taken out of him. “You do not come to a party at my house with Gretchen and then scam on some poor, innocent girl right in front of us three days later. She’s not interested.” Regina then turned to the redheaded girl. “Do you wanna have sex with him?”
She looked shocked, giving an immediate no.
“Good. So it’s settled.”
“You can go shave your back now,” Y/n finished, and the four plastics waved him off. Jason walked away, but not before muttering an insult to the girls.
“Good one,” Regina said quietly to Y/n, who couldn’t help but smile a bit at the small praise. Before she could reply, Regina’s eyes followed after the red-haired girl, who was now starting to walk away. “Wait.” The single word made her stop in her tracks and look back. “Sit down.”
Regina moved her hands, signaling Gretchen and Karen to move to the sides of the lunch bench to make room for this mystery girl. After some more encouragement, she sat down.
“What’s your name?” Y/n asked sweetly, trying to ease the girl’s nerves.
“Cady.”
“Why don’t I know you?” Regina asked, looking at Cady curiously.
“I’m new,” Cady replied. “I just moved here from Africa.”
“What?”
“I used to be home-schooled.”
“Wait. What?”
Cady took a second, wondering why Regina kept saying ‘what.’ She didn’t think it was that confusing.
“My mom taught me at home-”
“No, no.” Regina laughed. “I know what ‘home-school’ is; I’m not stupid. So, you’ve actually never been to a real school before?”
As she spoke, Regina leaned more and more forward towards Cady. And as the conversation continued, Y/n wondered why Regina was taking such an interest in her. Regina never cared about anyone who passed by, too involved in the latest gossip session Gretchen had started or in Y/n’s appearance. Not that Y/n really noticed that; she was busy thinking about Regina to see that Regina was thinking about her. Either way, she didn’t understand why the blonde was suddenly so fascinated by this new girl.
“You’re like, really pretty.”
Oh… That must be why.
Y/n seemed to tune the rest of the conversation out, too wrapped up in Regina’s compliment towards Cady and the bright smile she wore while giving it. She didn’t know why it bothered her. It’s not like Regina belonged to her. If anything, Y/n, along with the rest of the Plastics, belonged to Regina.
Even when Regina brought Gretchen and Karen in close to speak to them and Y/n, leaving Cady awkwardly leaning back to give them more privacy, Y/n didn’t care much to listen. The gist of the conversation was that they wanted Cady to sit with them at lunch for a week, something they had never considered doing with anyone else in this school.
“Okay.” Regina started as Gretchen and Karen relaxed back into their seats, and Cady leaned back in. “You should just know that we don’t do this a lot, so this is, like, a really huge deal. We wanna invite you to have lunch with us every day for the rest of the week.” Regina wore a grin that meant she was up to something, but Cady didn’t seem to decipher that, and the rest of the girls didn’t know what it meant.
“Oh, it’s okay—” Cady’s tone seemed to indicate that she was about to decline, but Regina interrupted her before she could.
“Coolness.” The bell rang, and Regina’s eyes darted over to Y/n before going back to Cady. Her mischievous smile remained present as she, Gretchen, and Karen grabbed their trays. “So we’ll see you tomorrow.”
The three Plastics stood up and left the table, leaving Y/n in a slight daze and Cady confused about what had just happened. Y/n suddenly looked around, realizing that her friends had left without her, but the new girl was still with her. She figured that she should say something before leaving her alone. She didn’t have to be mean or unpleasant just because Regina seemed to like Cady.
“On Wednesdays, we wear pink.” Y/n said it with a timid but sweet smile, trying to get over the revelation that the girl she loved was setting her sights on someone else. Her hand patted Cady’s a few times before she stood up and picked up her tray. “Welcome to North Shore.”
As Cady watched Y/n leave, and as Janis and Damian dragged the redhead away to interrogate her about her interaction with Regina, she couldn’t help but feel warm. Maybe public school wouldn’t be so bad.
***
The next day, Cady was slightly nervous to sit with the Plastics. She felt like a double spy. Janis and Damian were under the impression that Cady was doing it for them, to listen in on Regina’s secrets and relay them back to her friends so they could laugh at the pathetic and superficial nature of it all. And sure, that was the main reason she was sitting with the girls. But Cady also returned to the table so she could bask in a new light, Y/n.
But living in girl world came with a bunch of rules.
“You can’t wear a tank top two days in a row, and you can only wear your hair in a ponytail once a week. So…” Gretchen laughed lightly, seeming a little nervous for no reason as she looked at Cady, who was wearing her hair in a ponytail. “I guess you picked today. Oh! And we only wear jeans or track pants on Fridays.”
“Which totally blows in the winter,” Y/n muttered before sipping her Diet Coke.
“Now,” Gretchen started again, “if you break any of these rules, you can’t sit with us at lunch.” Cady seemed surprised, but Gretchen continued. “Not just you! Like, any of us. Okay, so, like, if I was wearing jeans today, I would be sitting over there with the art freaks.” She said it with a grimace, pointing over to a table a few feet away from the girls before looking back at Cady. “Oh, and we always vote before we ask someone to eat lunch with us, because you have to be considerate of the rest of the group. I mean, you wouldn’t buy a skirt without asking your friends first if it looks good on you.”
Everyone nodded except for Cady, who was processing all of these new rules she had to follow.
“I wouldn’t?”
“Right,” Gretchen said with a definitive nod. “And it’s the same with guys. Like, you may think you like someone, but you could be wrong.”
“One hundred twenty calories and forty-eight calories from fat,” Regina interrupted, reading a food bar that she had grabbed. She looked at her friends inquisitively. What percent is that?”
“Uh… forty-eight into one hundred and twenty?” Gretchen suggested, not really sure of herself.
“No, I don’t think so, Gretch,” Y/n said, trying to think of the correct answer.
“I’m only eating foods with less than thirty percent calories from fat.”
“It’s forty percent,” Cady said suddenly, proud that she was able to do the equation in her head. Everyone looked at her, expressions varying from impressed to confused. Cady suddenly felt the need to show her work. “Well, forty-eight over a hundred and twenty equals X over a hundred-”
“So then you cross multiply to get X!” Y/n finished off with a grin, thrilled that she knew what Cady was talking about. Cady smiled back at her with the same excited energy, although looking a little more subdued. Not only was this girl super pretty and friendly, but she also seemed decently smart. Maybe Janis was wrong about these girls.
“Whatever.” Regina looked at the two girls suspiciously. She tossed the food bar onto the table and stood up. “I’m getting cheese fries. Y/n, come with me.”
Taken back by the sudden command, Y/n stumbled out of her seat and followed Regina. Cady’s eyes followed her until she was out of sight, and she sighed quietly when she couldn’t catch a glimpse of the girl anymore.
“So!” Gretchen startled Cady with her enthusiastic voice and a hand on her shoulder. As she turned to look at her, Cady realized that Karen was also gone from the table. She must’ve gone to the bathroom or somewhere else. “Have you seen anyone you think is cute yet?”
Cady didn’t know how to answer. There was definitely one person that came to mind, but she didn’t know if she should say the name. Gretchen might react badly if Cady told her, which would most likely lead to her getting kicked out of the Plastics.
But at the same time, she didn’t want to lie.
“Well… there’s this one.. girl.” The last word was quiet and hesitant, but Gretchen picked up on it.
“Oh my gosh, who is it?” She asked excitedly. “Do you think it’s just like, a phase, or is it more serious?”
“I dunno.” Cady shrugged. “I haven’t known her too long to be sure.”
“Who is it?” Gretchen leaned forward in her seat, completely invested in Cady’s answer. It took the redhead a long moment of hesitancy to open her mouth.
“It’s Y/n…”
“No!” Gretchen straightened up, looking absolutely horrified. She looked around, ensuring none of the other girls were back yet. “You can’t like Y/n. Not only is she a part of the group, but… Okay, you didn’t hear this from me, and you’re, like, totally forbidden from ever bringing it up. But Regina is really possessive over Y/n. They’ve been best friends for, like, forever, and Regina chases off anyone who tries to so much as ask her out. And it’s not my place to say whether or not it’s more than friendship, but if I had to say something, there’s definitely something going on between them.” Gretchen took a much-needed breath, shaking her head slightly to clear her jumbled thoughts. “Look, the point is, you shouldn’t date friends. Especially Regina’s friends. But don’t worry, I’ll never tell Regina or Y/n what you said. It’ll be our little secret.”
Gretchen gave Cady a sweet smile, and that seemed to be the end of their little conversation. But for the next few days, Cady kept thinking about it.
She didn’t want to get on Regina’s bad side. That would mean no more things to tell Janis and Damian and no more seeing Y/n. And she also didn’t want to freak Y/n out. But just because Cady wasn’t allowed to like Y/n didn’t mean she wasn’t allowed to look at her. Or think about her. Or talk to her.
A few days later, when Cady was with Janis and Damian at the mall, Janis asked when Cady would see Regina next. She said it felt weird to spy on her and that she didn’t want to do it anymore. And sure, it being weird was part of why she wanted to stop. But mainly, it was because Cady had started getting so distracted by Y/n that it was difficult to focus on Regina. Which was strange, because the blonde girl was so alluring. But Janis reassured Cady that Regina would never find out about her double agent status, that it would be their little secret.
So many secrets.
***
“Hello?” Cady held the phone up to her ear, wondering who was calling her at this late hour.
“I know your secret.” Cady stiffened at Regina’s voice coming through the speaker. She internally panicked, trying to figure out what to do. How did Regina figure out about Cady’s spying?
“Secret?” She decided that playing it cool was the better move. “What secret?”
“Gretchen told me that you like Y/n.” Cady relaxed at the fact that Regina had learned about her other secret, before freezing again. Right now, she wondered if it would be better if Regina knew about the spying. “I mean, I don’t care, do whatever you want.” Regina didn’t sound like she didn’t care, but Cady didn’t bring it up. “But let me just tell you something about Y/n: She’s, like, never gone on a date before. It’s not that she’s not pretty or anything, but no one’s ever really been good enough for her.”
“Oh?” What did this mean? Did Regina deem Cady good enough for Y/n after so many others tried and failed? Or was this a set-up?
Honestly, Cady was so happy for Regina’s blessing that she didn’t really care.
“I could talk to her for you, if you want.”
“Really? You would do that?”
“We’ve been friends since like, pretty much birth. I know exactly how to play it.” There was a moment of silence, and Cady could picture Regina picking at her nails. “But wait. Aren’t you mad at Gretchen for telling me? Because if you are, you can tell me. It was a really bitchy thing for her to do.”
“Yeah, it was pretty bitchy, but I’m not mad.” Cady was a little mad, but she didn’t feel like saying that. “I mean, it’s better she told you instead of Y/n. I dunno, I guess she just likes the attention.” Cady didn’t know why she said that last part, but it had just spilled out of her mouth.
“See, Gretch? I told you she’s not mad at you.” Cady was a bit confused, but then another voice spoke.
“I can’t believe you think I like attention!” There was a click, and Cady assumed the Gretchen had hung up. She had no idea she was even listening.
“Okay, love you. See you tomorrow!” Cady could hear Regina’s smile, and then there was another click followed by a dial tone, showing that Cady was now the only one on the line. She then hung up herself, processing the three-way call she had just survived.
And then after that, Cady realized that she had gotten Regina’s blessing to try to pursue Y/n.
***
“What day is it?” Y/n asked, looking down at her worksheet. She didn’t usually do homework at lunch, but lately, some of her classes had been kicking her ass.
“It’s October third,” Cady answered almost immediately, catching the suspicious eyes of Regina and Gretchen.
“Thanks, Cady,” Y/n said, looking up at the girl and giving her a sweet smile before returning to her paper.
“I dunno why you don’t just ask one of the Mathlete dorks to do it for you,” Regina said, looking over Y/n’s shoulder. “They’d probably even do it for free.”
“We’ve talked about this, Regina. If my teacher didn’t catch on, it would still totally bite me in the ass when I’d have to do a test all by myself.”
“You need help with math?” Cady asked, subtly leaning closer to Y/n. The girl looked at Cady, now completely distracted from her work.
“Yeah! I used to get it, but trig is crazy hard.” Y/n sighed, delicately rubbing at her tired eyes so she didn’t mess up her makeup. “I feel like I’m never gonna get it.”
“I can help you!” Cady said, excited over this opportunity. She had always excelled in mathematics, and now Y/n needs help with that exact subject? It seemed like fate.
“Really?” Both Y/n and Cady missed the slight glare that Regina was giving them.
“Oh right, Cady’s like, a total nerd.” They also chose to ignore Regina’s snide comment before sipping her Diet Coke.
“That would be amazing, Cady! Maybe I could come over after school today or something?”
Cady was about to say yes, a million times yes, but Regina butted in.
“Y/n, you’re coming over to my house today.” It didn’t really feel like Regina was reminding her of forgotten plans. Instead, it sounded like Regina was coming up with a reason for Y/n to be unavailable. Cady’s suspicions were confirmed by the confused look Y/n gave the blonde.
“I am?”
“Yeah.”
“Oh… Well, how about tomorrow?”
“Perfect!” Cady spoke quickly and enthusiastically before Regina could say another word.
***
Over the next month or so, Cady tutored Y/n a few days every week. It quickly became their favorite part of their days. After helping with a few problems Y/n was stuck on, the two girls would get distracted by conversations about whatever they wanted to talk about. Neither of them felt the need to filter themselves in fear of being made fun of by one of the other Plastics, mainly Regina. Topics ranged from the latest gossip to future plans to their favorite things in media. If Cady had never heard of something Y/n brought up, which was the case nine times out of ten, the tutoring session would turn into a movie night or music party.
“Oh my gosh, so…” Y/n and Cady were in the middle of watching a chick flick that Cady had never seen when Y/n suddenly spoke. “I’m having a Halloween party at my place. We usually do it at Regina’s, but for some reason, she didn’t feel like doing it this year. Are you gonna come?”
“Yeah, sure.” Cady’s response made Y/n smile brightly, a sight that Cady could never get sick of.
“Awesome!” Y/n sat up from her slouched position, her excitement waking her up from her slightly tired state. “It’s a costume party, which’ll be a lot of fun. I can give you a flier with all the info tomorrow. Even though I know you’re invited, you need the flier to get in. It only admits one person, so don’t bring anyone else with you.”
“Grool.” Y/n blinked in slight confusion, and Cady realized what she had said. “I… I meant to say ‘cool,’ and then I started to say ‘great.’”
Y/n giggled, which made Cady’s cheeks heat up.
“Right. Well, grool.” The two laughed, and then Y/n looked down at her watch. “Oh my gosh, it’s so late. I should probably get going.” With the help of Cady, Y/n gathered her things. “See you tomorrow!” In a flash, Y/n kissed Cady’s cheek before walking out of the room and leaving Cady’s house. Cady’s cheeks felt like they were on fire, and she lightly touched the cheek Y/n had kissed.
***
One thing that no one told Cady was that on Halloween, many girls opted for very revealing costumes rather than actual costumes. So when she arrived at Y/n’s house, she stuck out like a sore thumb in her dead bride attire while her friends wore tight clothes and animal ears.
“Why are you so scary?” Gretchen asked with concern, looking at Cady’s appearance with wide eyes.
“It’s Halloween,” Cady said with a shrug, not knowing what the problem was.
Suddenly, a hand touched Cady’s arm, making her jump. But she quickly relaxed when she saw who was touching her.
“You came!” Y/n squealed, bringing Cady in for a hug. The redhead felt a bit flustered by the contact, plus seeing Y/n in her slightly revealing outfit. When they broke the embrace, Y/n held Cady by the shoulders, surveying her outfit. “And you’re a… zombie bride…?”
“An ‘ex-wife.’” Cady replied, using her fingers to air quote.
“Well, I love it.” Y/n finally let go of Cady, although she wouldn’t have been opposed if she kept holding onto her. “You want something to drink?”
“Sure.”
“I’ll be right back.”
Y/n squeezed Cady’s arm for a quick moment before turning around. She weaved her way through the crowd to get to the kitchen, where a shit load of different drinks were scattered on the counters. She started mixing a drink for Cady when she felt a presence behind her.
“What the hell is Cady wearing?” Regina asked, squinting to see Cady from across the room.
“She’s a zombie bride!”
“She looks like a freak.”
“Regina!” Y/n set down the bottle she was pouring and looked at the blonde. “Be nice.”
“Whatever.” Regina rolled her eyes, pushing her hair off her shoulder before leaning on the kitchen counter. “You know, you should probably be careful around her. She has a giant crush on you.”
“What?” Y/n’s eyes snapped to Regina, immediately curious. “How do you know?”
“She told me. She tells everybody. It’s kinda cute, to be honest. She’s like a little girl.” Regina laughed, and Y/n tilted her head and raised her brows, silently asking for more details. “Like, she writes ‘Y/n plus Cady’ and stuff like that all over her notebook. And she made this shirt that says ‘I heart Y/n’ and she wears it under all of her clothes.
“Oh, come on.” Y/n sighed and rolled her eyes, figuring Regina had been joking. “That’s not funny, Regina.”
“I’m serious! She’s, like, obsessed with you. And who can blame her?” Regina’s hand reached out and brushed a stray lock of hair away from Y/n’s face. When Y/n looked at her friend, she was suddenly closer than before. “I mean, you’re gorgeous.”
“Regina.”
“If I’m being honest… I hate the way she looks at you.” Regina grabbed Y/n’s chin before she could look away, forcing them to maintain eye contact. “It makes me sick. She should know better than to think she has a chance with you.”
“What are you saying, Regina?” Y/n’s voice was barely a whisper, but the blonde heard her loud and clear despite being in a crowded room with blasting music and semi-drunk teenagers.
“I’m saying you’re mine, Y/n.” With every word, Regina inched closer and closer. “I don’t want you to be with Cady. Or with anyone else.”
Regina closed the small gap between her and Y/n’s lips, wrapping her arms around Y/n’s body to keep her close. After the wave of shock washed over her, Y/n reciprocated the kiss. Neither of them cared about any of the people around them watching. Including Cady, who watched from across the room with watery eyes and a breaking heart.
Cady had lost Y/n to a competition she didn’t even know she had. Y/n had finally gotten the girl she had been wanting for years after being kept at arm’s length away. And Regina had once again ruined someone else’s happiness for her own.

Hi nit of a weird request but can I request a Regina x reader smut based on the song dead girl walking from heathers? Like Regina knows she's about to loose her status either because of Cady or because she's about to be outed or something and comes over to y/n the day before. Idk why but I can't get the idea out if my head and especially the idea of Regina saying the line "hope I didn't wake you, see I decides I must ride you till I break you".
Thank u:)
Dead queen walking
Requested by anonymous 👍🏼
(Not a big fan of this one)
Regina George x reader;
A/n: Your welcome for the post! Thanks for the request, I hope this meets what you wanted- if not tell me and I’ll re-write!! I hope you enjoy the story!
Warnings: Smut with a bit of plot, Dom!regina sub!reader, thigh riding (Regina receiving), swearing. Lmk if there’s more!!
She stormed out the school, furious. Not only had the show gone wrong, but her social status had dropped. The next day would be humiliating for her. She didn’t even mutter a word to Gretchen or Karen. Not even they knew why the queen bee was angry. Sure they knew the talent show went wrong - but they didn’t think much about it. Then again, they didn’t think a lot.
“Bye Regina,” they both waved as Regina got into her very expensive, hot pink, jeep. Knowing that the hot-headed blonde would definitely not drop them off like she usually did, they walked along the path not uttering a word to each other.
^••^••^••^••^••^••^••^••^••^••^••^••^••^••^
As quickly as she could, Regina drove to your house, she thought that, somehow, you would be able to release some steam for her. She rapidly knocked onto the wood of what seemed to be Y/n’s door.
“Hello, Gina. What-“ the Y/H/C girl got cut off by a threatening but inmate kiss. “Okay, what’s wrong Gina?”
Regina still didn’t say a word and just closed the front door behind her. The troubled girl stormed her. The sweaty girl followed after her like a lost puppy.
“Gina, baby,” she said trying to grab the queen bee’s arm. When she finally managed to latch onto her arm she pulled her to look at the poor girl. Regina had mascara running down her cheeks and puffy eyes. The Y/S/C coloured girl close enough to kiss, moved backwards to give Regina some space. “Baby, really what’s wrong”.
“I’m sorry if I woke you, I decided I must ride you until I break you” she mumbled.
“What’s that honey,” y/n wipes away the falling tears.
“I-it’s just… Cady has been plotting against me the whole time, apparently, she’s been making me fat” she choked out a sob falling into the tired girl’s arms.
“Gina darling, I promise you didn’t wake me up, I was working out. And sweetheart I don’t care if you’re fat. I’ll still love you. And anyway, cady doesn’t matter just me and you okay?” her voice trailed off but was stopped with a passionate kiss. Y/n got pushed to the edge of what seemed to be her sofa. She finally knew what was happening and smirked into the kiss. When air was required they pulled back.
“You know you could have just asked if you were so desperate, I would have given you it,” her swollen lips formed into a small innocent smile.
Pushing herself onto her butt, she brought Regina forward placing an inmate kiss on her lips. She whimpered into the kiss when Regina bit her bottom lip, giving her a chance to slip her tongue in. Exploring all of her soulmates mouth. She brought her hands up to her peers rosy red cheeks and caressed them. She stopped for a moment and put their foreheads together. “Tell me when you want to stop, kay, cutie”. Y/n nodded eagerly - which made the blonde smile- she whispered a good girl which made the y/h/c girl smirk mischievously.
They both pushed their lips back against each other, Regina’s hands dropped down to y/n’s hips caressing them. Her mouth kissed her jaw all the way to her neck, sucking gently in the skin (just enough to leave a mark). A moan got caught in Y/n’s throat to which Regina squeezed her throat gently. Then the whimper finally came out as Regina found her pulse point and sucked on it. The bottom girl’s eyes fluttered shut waiting for further movement. But the she heard the movement go away from her. She opened her eyes and peeked through her eyelashes. The sight that beheld before her was Regina getting undressed. “No peeking baby” she giggled.
Regina peeled each layer off leaving y/n waiting impatiently. Once done, the blue-eyed girl moved towards Y/n and slowly uncovered her eyes.
"What's got you so horny Gina?" The y/h/c girl asked flushed but curious. The school star just put one finger to her lips, indicating for y/n to shut up. Regina slowly moved towards Y/nn, making her impatient. Quickly, she pulled Regina onto her thigh, Regina let out a whimper and threw her head back. Y/n, now that she has access, carefully bit down on her neck, licking to stop the soreness. Regina gripped onto her hair, tugging on it; smirking in satisfaction when the girl below her moaned onto her neck.
Subconsciously, Regina started to grind against the y/e/c girl her juices leaking all over her leg. Y/n guided her hands to help Regina hump against her thigh.
"Why-why are you still wearing these, baby," she moans out, tugging on Y/n's clothes.
"Just wait lovely." she gasped as Regina moaned on her pulse point, her movements getting sloppier.
"Y/n, m' gonna cum." She whined, chanting out her name as the liquids flowed out of her body, leaving Y/n's denim trousers dirty a nd sticky. Regina's body went limp for a moment as she regained her stamina. She pulled Y/n up shedding of her many layers and massaging her breasts.
"My turn babes". Y/n prayed that she could even walk tomorrow.
(Spoiler alert, she couldn't)

✧ Jealousy, jealousy
Jealous Janis ‘Imi’ike x fem!reader (ft. Cady Heron x Aaron Samuels & Damian)
Warnings: SMUT, MDNI. Oral, fingering, toy use, light bondage + choking, overstimulation, edging(reader receiving). Little bit of a public make-out scene, coarse language.
In which reader, who’s too nice for her own good and gets unknowingly hit on. Janis sees it all go down and gets jealous.
Requested? Yes / No
Well, this one’s a mess and I don’t like it. But, here it is! :D
youtube
Janis, Janis, Janis…everyone knew to be afraid of her. Because, one wrong move and she’d break your neck. So who would’ve thought that after the junior year summer break, she would be the one who confessed to you. Janis ‘Imi’ike, the petite yet very intimidating artist whom you found to be extremely attractive, was the one to make the first move. Though it did save you from being embarrassed and too nervous to talk.
Now, it was coming up to the sixth month of your relationship with Janis. You’ve also become an irreplaceable addition to their duo, making you all a trio. Cady and Aaron sat with the three of you sometimes, but Regina was, as always- with Gretchen and Karen. Damian and Janis always told you that you were too nice for your own good, perhaps even a people-pleaser who was afraid to tell others ‘no’. Cady said they were harsh, but to you, they weren’t wrong. You just didn’t admit it. You couldn’t, actually- you were oblivious to the intentions of other people some times and it drives them insane that you’d let them walk all over you. Even Regina’s stepped in to help get you out of situations a couple times. (Janis noticed and started to dislike her a little less for having your back)
So when the new guy first laid his eyes on you, and came up to you to flirt, you had no clue and thought he was just being nice. And you being you, thought that he was just trying to get to know some people to make new friends at a new school. You started to think that it wasn’t so innocent when you saw him around more and more- he was in a couple of your classes and would always try to get a desk next to yours. You’d catch him looking at you in class. And before you knew it, it was the end of the week, you were at your locker unpacking your backpack when he came up to you and asked you out. And jesus, fricking christ- Janis has always had impeccable timing. And not just her- your girlfriend showed up at your side right as new-guy was finishing his question. Oh, boy…the friend group knew that they were in for a show.
“Hey, buddy.” Janis began, leaning onto a locker at first. But, she’s then quickly wedged between you and him. Here’s the thing though- the group knew that Janis was bound to do this the moment she revealed to them that she didn’t like new-guy flirting with you. But she wasn’t mad. Because she knew you were being nice, and nothing else has happened besides talking. And additionally, she was kinda hoping you’d stand up for yourself and say no instead of going along with him. Even just in conversation. No, this was pure jealousy that you had even split your attention onto someone who in her words, was insignificant.
“Oh, hi. I was just-” Poor guy seemed to have no clue either.
“Wipe that smile off your face.” Janis began. “I know what you’re up to, talking to her. She’s not interested.”
“She hasn’t said anything.”
“Because she’s a nice girl who doesn’t like to upset people. I’m not a nice girl. I know you’re new- you just got here at the beginning of the week. And already, you’ve been flirting with girl after girl.” Janis continues. The group backed away a foot or two. “Well, I’ve got news for you- the whole school knows not to mess with my girl. Even Regina George over there- the school’s most popular girl. No one tries to call her names, no one tries to make fun of her, no one tries to catcall her, and no one tries flirt with her. My girl’s out of reach- I’ve seen guys and girls try to get her but they can’t. They’ve never succeeded. Because. Of. Me.”
Honestly, by the end of her little…(not so little) speech, you were terrified of her. What she was gonna do to be getting herself into trouble. you backed away. The group sees the change in your body language and how flustered you simply were. They knew Janis would never hurt you. But Janis was reckless. If anyone mad her even the slightest bit mad, there were physical repercussions- and fast. In the heat of the moment, she was hard to snap out of.
You did what you thought was necessary. You put a hand on her shoulder to get her attention, calling her name firmly. She shrugs your hand off. You called her name again but your efforts were useless as she was fuming. Cady pulled you back instinctively, as though to tell you to just let her be. You couldn’t do anything else when tears were forming in your eyes and clouding your vision.
————
A sharp sound of new-guy being slammed against a locker and you flinched. “Do you hear me or not?” Janis snarked, “Eyes up here, dude. These aren’t for you.”
“Yes. Message received, man. I’m so- so sorry. I did not know she was your- oh God.” His tough facade was gone by the end of it and he scurries away. Regina and her posse watch as he nearly takes a tumble, inevitably laughing because his legs were like jelly.
Janis was shaking as her knuckles were white from balling her fists up. She slams a fist into the locker beside her- her own. Repeatedly. Damian literally had to pull her away but it did not work. Neither Aaron nor Cady dared to try, so you stepped in quickly as possible not wanting her to hurt herself even more. You grabbed her forearm, as hard as you could so she could not break free from your grip. “Janis. Janis! Look at me. It’s me. It’s me. He’s gone.” You raised your voice. She blinked and her eyes changed as she abruptly snapped out of her mood. “Janis, it’s fine. He’s gone- he didn’t do anything to me.” Your voice quivered at the end. She licked her lips, biting the inside of her cheek but her eyes had softened as you let go of her forearm.
“You know I don’t like that, baby. Having him talking to you, all clueless that you belonged to me. You’re too nice.” Janis’ voice was low.
“I’m sor-” You began, but she cut you off, roughly kissing you right in front of everybody.
“Is this normal?” Aaron asks awkwardly.
“How dare you be so nice to him…?” She said into the kiss. “I said, eyes on me only, babe. You’ve been bad.”
“Okay, yup. That’s our cue to go,” Aaron decided, taking Cady by the wrist and leaving, “See you guys tomorrow.”
“I doubt you’ll see them.” Damian joked, “Okay, you horny bitches. Let’s stop giving the entire student body a show, thank you.”
Oh god, you were in for a rough night tonight.
Damian had to drag you two out of the school, standing in between the both of you. “So I’m guessing our movie night’s off- now that you have plans to suck faces with each other, clearly. “But since I have a car and was your ride to school, I will be dropping you two off at her place.” Damian decides, pointing to Janis. “That good? Or is there someplace else y’all would rather go to y’know, get it?”
“Shut up, Damian.” Janis scoffs, “Maybe a little too involved?”
“Oh, now you can talk.” He scoffs, “Whatever, get in the car. One of you in front, the other in the back. I don’t want y’all dirtying my car.”
“Now you’re pushing it.” Janis glared at him.
Okay, this wasn’t your first rodeo dealing with a jealous Janis, and as scary as she was when she gets furious at whoever it was, you honestly found it so fucking hot.
“Alright, goodbye, have a good night. Good luck in the morning.”
Janis cracked a smile, rolling her eyes as your cheeks blushed- embarrassed.
————
Janis was an only child and both her parents were at work this time of day so you two pretty much had the whole house to yourselves, but you felt the most comfortable in her room and she knew that so that’s where she took you to.
“You know how jealous I get. And it’s not the first time is it, my love.” Her voice was so low, it sent a chill down your spine. “You know what I’d do to you, and if I didn’t know you any better, I would’ve thought you were doing this on purpose just so I would fuck you…is that what you’re doing?” She was already in the mood to pounce on you and you were too, the whole car ride to her house felt like agony being apart from her. You weren’t as vocal as she was, and she always topped you. No complaints, but it was just the matter of how rough she would be that kinda makes you a little extra nervous. If it was anything like the last time— the first time she got jealous, you were sure you’d be a happy camper.
"Take off your clothes, baby. Everything- now." Her tone of voice was making the heat rush through your body and pool in between your legs. You chuckled quietly as you obeyed her order, impatiently awaiting what was to come for you. While she busied you with that task, you saw her bent over a lower drawer in her wardrobe to retrieve a couple of things.
Her door was already locked, and the curtains were already down- it made the room quite dim. Was this a choice or unintentional? "Don't touch yourself. I'll tell you what to do." She says as she sat down on her bed to look at you. "See this thing?" She looked to her side and picked up a dildo - one you've never seen one with a suction cup at the base. "I'm gonna put it here. And I want you to ride it...I'm gonna watch you do it." She says, then stuck in onto the floor in between you and herself. You gulped- the sheer size of that thing equally caught you off-guard as much as it excited you. But you weren't sure you could do it- you've always had difficulties with penetration and Janis knew, Perhaps this was her way to get you used to it and punishing you for talking to new-guy. "I know you can do it." She lowers herself onto the floor to be with you. "I'll help you...work you up to it, if you want." She caresses you cheek, eventually grabbing your face by the chin. "You want that, baby?" She gave in after all, offering to help you after she said she wanted you to do it yourself.
Your cheeks were burning hot and you could feel it. Nodding almost too eagerly making Janis smirked, she started to kiss you, riling you up. Janis sat cross legged on the floor, pulling you so you laid your head in her lap: you could see right into her eyes, and vice versa. As she captures your lips into her own, kissing you over and over, her hands pushed your legs apart contented that she could see that reflection of your glistening cunt in her mirror. "You see that, babe?" She asks- you couldn’t. Obviously. But you could feel her every move…how her fingers gently traced your folds and circled your clit. So soft and loving, it made you giddy happy. She chuckles feeling your body react. “I think you’ve got it, honey. Don’t you think- do you feel how wet you are?” Her other hand- her right hand cups your breast and you let out a whimper that you could not control.
“I knew it. It turned you on, didn’t it? Me threatening the guy?” Her voice husky, another thing that made you incredibly, incredibly needy. Janis knew you like the back of her own hand. It was easy to make you lose control. And right now, she was practically going down the list of how to make you obscenely wet. “You wanna try that for me? And be a good girl?”
————
Janis shoves two fingers inside you while kissing you at the same time, making you moan into the kiss with ease. Then she kept going for awhile, both her gestures. The part of her hand at the bottom of her palm repeatedly hits your clit with each plunge of her fingers. The pleasure sends sparks down your spine, your back beginning to arch.
“What a needy little thing you are…”She forcefully pulls out of you to give you an abrupt emptiness, “On your knees…give that a shot.” You managed to push yourself off her, but not before she gave you a smack on your cunt, making your curse under your breath. She held onto your hand as you positioned yourself. Then, Janis grabbed onto your hips as she slowly lowered you against the tip of the silicone. “Ah!” You seethed feeling the stretch, “Oh, fuck.”
Your heartbeat starts racing at this unfamiliar sensation, unsure of just what exactly you were feeling. “Do you want to stop?” Janis asked, analysing your face. You lowered yourself a little bit more, letting out a low groan in the midst. “Okay, no then.” She leans in, cupping your face to connect your lips together, giving you deep wet kisses.
“Okay?” She asks, her hand reaching down to rub your clit. You panted, a whine follows swiftly. You did not reply with words but just whine after whine that grew in pitch.
“Keep going, baby. Keep going.” She chuckles, “Let me see you and hear you.” Janis slowly breaks away from you, leaning back to watch you while rubbing one out for herself. Watching you ride the thing, your breasts moving along with your grinding. She couldn’t help it but moan too, spurring you on. “Get it fully in- just a little bit more to go.” She encouraged, her legs crossed as she continues staring at you. “Uh-uh, no, honey. Hands off now.”
“Are you fucking kidding me?” You sighed.
“Hands behind your back.” She ordered.
“No.”
“Hands behind your back, y/n.” She repeated. “Listen to me otherwise I’m not gonna lay my hand on you for the rest of it. You’d be on your own.”
Shit.
What you needed now was way more than this and she was delaying your climax for way too long.
“Look at me. And keep doing that.” She demanded. Her voice became harsher as she practically lunged at you. “Still no? Fine, alright. Lean down.” She pushes you so that your top half kept getting closer to the floor, but you were resisting so she pushed harder. Eventually, you decided to listen, your cheek comes into contact with the cold floor as your ass was up in her face. Tempted, she gives it a hard slap, rubbing the area after. “Please. Please.” You cried out, “Please, I need you.”
You couldn’t stand the ache anymore. It really began to hurt.
“You promise you’ll be a good girl for me, princess?” She teases you with her fingers, just for a second or two before she held both your wrists together behind your back. Her other hand grabbing ahold of the dildo so she could use it on you in a moment.
“Yes, Janis. I’m sorry, please!” Desperate. That’s what you were. And exactly what she wanted to hear from you.
“Thank you, baby.” She smiles to herself, pushing the dildo into your tight hole, awaiting your moans and whines. Janis was rough, but made sure she didn’t hurt you. Her sole purpose here was to make you feel good. So that could you come, maybe squirt— she was hoping. She would love to see that.
When your legs begin to shake, something she hasn’t seen before, she took the opportunity to go even rougher, twisting the toy as she pushes it in and out insanely fast. Your moans were so high-pitched that it’d typically annoy the fuck out of yourself but your mind was so clouded that you didn’t give a shit. Neither did Janis. “Oh, my girl’s so fucking hot…” She panted, “Let me hear more.” Even though you did as she said, her hand stops moving, leaving the silicone shaft inside of you as she watches you drip. “I said let me hear you!” She exclaimed through gritted teeth. Janis then flips you over, gripping her hand just tightly enough around your neck to make you lightheaded. As her hand moved about, you caught a glimpse of her bloodied knuckles. You snatched her hand off your neck and took a closer look at her hand. Something almost primal came over to you as you admired her hands and fingers, eventually licking her bloody knuckles.
Janis moans, apparently enjoying your action. You laughed, satisfied that you could make her weak- even just for a moment.
“Bold. Didn’t even know I liked that.” She raised her brows, meaning for you to lie back down, “You wanna come, sweetie?”
“Mhm.” You nodded instantly, licking your lips.
“You’re close, baby. Very close.” She coos, hovering over you, “I’m gonna lie down, and you’re going to lay on me, okay?”
“Okay.” You agreed.
“Good.” She got into position, “Your head towards my legs.” Wordlessly, you follow her order. She didn’t disappoint either, her tongue diving into your pussy immediately to taste you like you were her death row meal.
“Fuck, fuck. Right there, right there.” You pant, “Oh, shit! What is that-”
“It’s fine, just let go.” She hurriedly told you.
“I’ve never-”
“Just squirt on my fucking face, y/n! Let go- it’s fucking hot.” She answered crudely, her tongue resuming its ministrations to get what she wanted. It definitely felt weird and was a first for you, because it literally just felt like you had to pee. But judging by Janis’ reaction to your new…form of unraveling, you could only watched as you see more and more clear liquid gushing out of yourself.
“Fuck! Stop, stop, stop.” You gasped, lifting yourself away from her face. “Janis, stop! I can’t- oh, my fucking God.”
“This is what happens when you’re not a good girl and make me jealous, you hear?” She stops, you fall flat onto her to catch your breath.
“Yeah.” You nodded, “Fuck, I need a shower.”
“You kinda gave me one.” She laughs.
“Janis.” You snorted pushing yourself off of her.
“Okay, alright. No more of that.” She promised, and you pull her up. “Let’s go take a shower, hm?”

Cady’s Cousin (pt.1)
(pt. 2)/(pt. 3)/(pt. 4)
You’re cady’s cousin and you had to transfer to north shore senior year
Warnings: homophobia, use of slur (d-slur), violence?(idk) sexual harassment? (I’m not good at warnings I’m sorry)
A/N: before anyone is like “Aaron already graduated” I don’t think he did that poor boy got held back in my opinion you’re allowed to disagree also everyone’s gay SURPRISE these are all just my opinions feel free to disagree
You were hanging out with your cousin the Saturday before school was due to start and she said she invited some friends over when they arrived you were pleasantly surprised. Once you got settled and started chatting you joked “hey Cads I didn’t know you had cool friends, I thought you’d only knew math nerds like yourself, oh and I’m (Y/N) by the way” “oh right, this is my cousin, everyone say hi” the group says hi “ooo nice pants” you say to a girl with dyed green tips in her hair and the coolest pants you’ve ever seen “thanks, the name’s Janis by the way” she sticks out her hand for you to shake and you do “nice to me you” you say with a wink “ew stop being gay” the blonde one jokes “Regina shut up you literally have a girlfriend” Janis says lightly punching the blonde in the arm. “Is anyone in this group straight?” You say through a laugh “as of last week, nope” says a boy with brown hair who you honestly expected to be the token straight shaking his head “ah yes our baby gay, this is Aaron he just came out be patient with him” Regina says patting Aaron’s head. Two more girls and a boy show up “sorry we’re late Karen lost her phone” the more visual anxious and shorter of the two girls says “it was in the freezer” the boy says “oh who is this?” The boy asks genuinely curious “Cady’s cousin” Aaron says with a smile “can we like rapid fire everyone’s name and pronouns really quick for me” you ask getting a little confused. “I’ll go first even though you already know my name Cady, she/her” “Janis, they/she but honestly any I don’t really care” “Regina, she/her” “Damian, the badest/bitch no I’m just kidding he/him or they/them is cool” “Aaron, he/him? Those are the boy ones, right?” “yes Aaron good job” Janis says laughing and giving him a thumbs up “Karen, she/they? I think” “Gretchen, also she/they” Cady is happy to see that you seem to like her friends “what about you (Y/N)?” Regina asks “oh um (your pronouns) works” you say with an awkward thumbs up “so (y/n) where are you from and what brings you here?” Gretchen asks excited to know more about you “oh um I’m from Florida and I recently got suspended from my last school so my dad thought it would be a good idea to send me here to live with my aunt and Cady to “think about my highly irresponsible and destructive behavior” I honestly don’t think what I did was that big of a deal given the circumstances” you say kind of annoyed, the annoyance directed at your father “ooo what’d you do?” Janis asks suddenly more intrigued “oh I punched a dude in his face and lit his backpack on fire for harassing me but like it’s honestly not my fault if we think about it, I reported his behavior twice and told him if he didn’t leave me alone I’d punch him in the face and light his backpack on fire, He for some reason thought I was joking and when I was walking to lunch slapped my ass and said “give me a chance this dick can turn any dyke straight” then winked at me so I punched him and pulled out my lighter and whoosh fire” you said doing jazz hands when you said fire “that’s freakin awesome” Janis says enthusiastically and the group turns to look at her confused “oh um not the getting harassed part but like what you did was to that dude, that was like so tits” she explains “tits?” you say confused “i got this, “tits” is one of Janis’ fun little words she uses and it typically means awesome, really cool, or fuck yeah” Damian explains with a smile “tits” you say with a small chuckle “wait you’re from Florida? Have you ever seen an alligator?” Karen asks “yes I have they’re not as scary as people say” you respond “that’s like really cool” Karen says with a smile “oh my gosh your hair is like so fetch” Gretchen says after looking at you for a little bit “um thank you? I’m assuming that also means cool?” You say slowly and confused “yeah pretty much” Regina says patting Gretchen on the shoulder before she freaks out. Hanging out with them, you thought they were really cool so switching to a new school and state for your last year of high school might not suck as much as you thought .
A/N: guys I don’t know anything about Florida but it felt homophobic so I used it lmao also I think I’m gonna do this in parts I know I said Janis x cady’s cousin and I will give that to you but I want to know if you like it so far before I go hardcore into the story lol

Hey girlies I just wanted to share this and see if anyone else understands anything new (long pmmm post with images ahead)
So I rewatched the Walpurgisnacht Rising trailer (AGAIN) and this time I noticed some of the staff cards have their colour blots form into something
(Madoka/Homura stuck on the time chains clock thing that is shown in some scenes and Walpurgisnacht as the 2 other examples I found)
BUT I also noticed the following cards:
Now I am not quite certain what i'm seeing here, it seems like a magical girl (with a skirt and hair somewhat like Kyouko's? she is holding weapons she does not use however or some other thing), and it seems like she is turning into a witch. The witch, however, seems either very much like the final form of Gretchen, Madoka's witch, where it holds the world in shadowy hands then gets destroyed by Madokami, or yet again Walpurgisnacht with an increasing zoom every frame.
The magical girl/witch pairing doesnt make sense, there is something weird being held, and maybe this relates once again to the new magical girl like in the post I made earlier about the trailer? maybe they just put in a bunch of stuff that was in the show for the hype and i'm seeing wrong??
What do you guys think? I went through all the colour blot cards in 0.25 speed and these are the only coherent things I managed to see so far-
lord help this poor woman (me) until this movie comes out D:
#pmmm#puella magi madoka magica#walpurgis no kaiten#walpurgisnacht rising#my posts#its getting closer and closer besties!!!! just the unbearable summer heat between us aaaaaaaaaaaaaa

other epic sims voyager save moments that are too tiresome to post as screenshots:
- one of the triplets got a pop-up that they were making paper flowers at school for mother's day. i chose to keep flowers for myself. bc their mom is, like, dead. almost immediately i received this message: 'edward strutted off, flowers in hand - that was, until the wind plucked them free and stole them. the bright flowers drifted in the wind's current until they were little specks on the horizon, never to be seen again.' wtf imagine they make you partake in mother's day activities despite the fact your mom is dead and then this happens
- janeway death pipeline: chakotay went to selvadorada to do some archeology stuff, got fear of unfulfilled dreams, then got poisoned almost immediately, went home, janeway screamed at him and died out of anger while he was on a brink of death too. kids got to watch as well! in my head he got additionally traumatised bc technically this sequence of events started when he finally got to do something he loved
- janeway's ghost is often angry because 'this spirit was angry in life and is even angrier at death'
- after janeway died b'elanna invited chakotay for dinner to cheer him up (somehow this is an option) this was really sweet :( idk if it is a coincidence but sekaya also invited herself for a stay over after that
- all that time he had the wish to get married which automatically disappeared after janeway died. but do not worry he has it again as it was the first option that appeared for him when i tried a new bucket list feature for the first time. poor lad i don't know if his dreams will ever come true
- the only thing that chakotay has going for himself is that he works as a teacher. someone has to pay for janeway's huge ass house
- that one time when doctor tried to hit on janeway at the halloween party. awkward. (if you are interested she automatically went as a space captain. my creative queen)
- philippa lost her first tooth because she got in a fight with amelia <3
- yesterday i realised that i had a picture of janeway with harry facing her bed. okay girl
- i wanted for janeway to do farming but she sucks so bad her chickens are always hungry. i think she will get killed by them next time she comes to life
- the first time janeway and chakotay got together tuvok was the first one to congratulate her over the phone. despite the fact that every single time that he saw them talking to each other he would come to them and stand over there with 😐 face
- i want chakotay to get abducted by aliens and have an alien baby so bad you don't have any idea. but i am on the fence bc i do not like how it relates to the seska storyline in voyager and i don't know if i can deal with another kid in a household
- gretchen always has some sort of beef with edward every time she comes over. she straight up doesn't like him despite everything i do i even cheated their relationship up but they were gone in an instant. the implications of this are very funny to me
- i know that ages are off but i like how kids automatically befriended naomi at school and invite her after the school day ends to play :з
- still contemplating how to let janeway bone that furry without hurting chakotay's feelings bc they got together again. bc i thought it would be funny to do after doctor called janeway and told her that they would make quite a pair. and chakotay is working on trying to get her back to life that would look bad for her like imagine you max your skills to revive your girl and she bones a werewolf in the meantime
- tom calls triplets all the time and invites them to come over but i do not let them because i haven't built a proper house for him. loser
- i actually started this save as a resolutions situation with only janeway and chakotay then slowly created everyone else and built a 'voyager' lot where i played for some time. in the meantime those two got a kid (while living in that resolutions situation). i deleted him bc i wanted to play with threshold kiddos. they still have a picture of him in janeway's bedroom. i do not know how to approach this situation

Can't draw Bob's Burgers style to save my life, but the latest episode made me want to draw Linda and Gretchen so badly.
Personally, I thought the episode was genuinely funny, but it was also incredibly sweet. The lengths Gretchen went to ensure her younger sister had a great bachelorette party (even though planning isn't her strength) and the lengths Linda and Bob went through to help Gretchen. (Poor Linda; she felt so bad about ruining that look book).
Also, these two looks cute as hell. I'm a sucker for new outfits on familiar cartoon characters.

supernatural s1e5 bloody mary (teleplay: ron milbauer, terri hughes burton; story: eric kripke)
(this is a rewatch, so spoilers abound)
today's update from the first watch - in fact maybe playing bloody mary as a very sensitive and nervous kid still gives me particular nightmares 30+ years later!
i like that they actually show us sam's nightmare about jess and it's conveniently just the pilot fire footage but blue. but it's effective! and the way they use a clip of his other nightmare where he's visiting her grave (before we get the cheap jumpscare of arms grabbing him from the ground), i always forget that that's all from a nightmare. dunno if it's supposed to also be like, representation of him actually going to her funeral (they did stay a week, i think they mentioned)
SAM I take it I was having a nightmare. DEAN Yeah, another one. SAM Hey, at least I got some sleep. DEAN You know, sooner or later we're gonna have to talk about this.
and they say dean doesn't want to talk about things!
listen, you know i like first season lighting. but this lighting in an office of the morgue is out of pocket lol the eye strain!!
DEAN Dude, I earned that money. SAM You won it in a poker game.
still counts!
s1e5 chelan simmons as jill / hannibal s1e2 as gretchen speck / her little flouncy skirt for some reason is what i remember most
i thought she looked familiar but then i think that about a lot of pretty blonde haired young women in the early seasons of this show.. but she actually is! in my favorite hannibal rando murderer episodes, mushroom maannn (god the music while getting this hannibal screenshot, yeah it's wacky being so discordant and all but it's also SO GOOD at setting the tone and it's just so unique and special 🥺 link to my hannibal music masterpost)
someone got to have a lot of fun getting creative with all these hallway mirrors (peter ellis directed - he did this and 1x15 the benders and that's it)
smooth, dean-o. very normal response. got the doubletake jaw clench combo from sam lol (gifs i reblogged with pretty much the same comments, i am nothing if not consistent)
dramatic skylight on sam what is happening at this library
such a simple horror trope but so freaky every time
oh, sam.
SAM Why'd you let me fall asleep? DEAN Cause I'm an awesome brother. So what did you dream about? SAM Lollipops and candy canes. DEAN Yeah, sure.
very distinct visual style going here. it's just like, so blurry in the background of sam's shot and he's kind of soft focus himself.. feels like someone was having a moment with padalecki this episode instead of jackles hogging all the beauty shots :p and looking at her face i'm just appreciating how smooth the matte makeup looks under her eyes and is holding up to crying (which partially is just having young skin but also kudos to the makeup artist)
funny seeing the different supernatural-hunting techniques and gear that never went anywhere beyond this season
oh man, that feels like a lifetime ago. weird days of celebrity via leaked sex tape
casually printing out photos in their motel room. do they keep a printer with them in the trunk too? 😂
some of the score has got a very mark snow xfiles vibe, thanks to christopher lennertz (video down further because i ~needed~ to get the car chat too)
also trying to ignore the not-great green screen driving moments. i know they sort that out sooner rather than later. i think mainly by driving at night with their very cool practical effects lighting setup that simulates passing street lights/other cars etc - this interview with the director of photography serge ladouceur has all sorts of really interesting information and there's a video included about how they did the night driving effects.
So how did shooting in the car evolve? Clearly some of it was on the road, some of it is Poor Man’s Process in the studio, and a small portion of it is greenscreen. We didn’t do much greenscreen with the Impala. The scenes we did that way were in Season 1 — sending a crew to film plate shots and compositing in post. We went through that process for some episodes, but because of the visual effects costs with outside vendors, the production went another way. Since Season 2, we have had a full-on visual effects department that’s part of the production, so every visual effect is done in-house. It was very convenient to have the visual effect department right here by our stages, so if last-minute questions arose, our VFX supervisor, Mark Meloche, is close by to answer these questions and guide us into the process, on top of having a VFX department representative on set for the days we deal with those shots. Mark was a great asset on Supernatural, having been on the show for its whole duration. He started with the team as the lead artist and then became the VFX supervisor in Season 8, after the departure of Ivan Hayden.
oh i forgot about this part... i posted about this actually back when i watched it.
CHARLIE I had this boyfriend. I loved him. But he kind of scared me too, you know? And one night, at his house, we got in this fight. Then I broke up with him, and he got upset, and he said he needed me and he loved me, and he said "Charlie, if you walk out that door right now, I'm gonna kill myself." And you know what I said? I said "Go ahead." And I left. How could I say that? How could I leave him like that? I just…I didn't believe him, you know? I should have.
so this one hit really close to home for me, from my linked post above:
i was watching the bloody mary episode of supernatural, and yadda yadda people have secrets and someone is dead. and then we get to the final woman and her secret is her boyfriend killed himself after they had a fight. i was just internally screaming at sam and dean, and this is the part where you tell her it wasn't her fault ...!!!! because that's also one of the things i'm carrying around too, that i still need reminding that it wasn't my fault. had a fight, i knew he was suicidal, but i thought he was just mad. i was mad too, for the first time with him. i could have called, i could have asked for a wellness check, i could have could have could have... anyway. it's not our fault. i appreciated they told her that, finally, at the end. it's been 15 years now since it happened but it is still heavy on my heart.
the sam parallel finally coming to a head with his guilt about jess, so they get to have their talk. and a little crispy R for posterity's sake on "secret" from padalecki. i think i've narrowed it down to really soft barely there Rs on the ends of words, and very articulated Rs in the middle of words?
xfiles-y score / it's not your fault
DEAN You know what, that's it. This is about Jessica, isn't it? You think that's your dirty little secret that you killed her somehow? Sam, this has got to stop, man. I mean, the nightmares and calling her name out in the middle of the night—it's gonna kill you. Now listen to me—It wasn't your fault. If you wanna blame something, then blame the thing that killed her. Or hell, why don't you take a swing at me? I mean I'm the one that dragged you away from her in the first place. SAM I don't blame you. DEAN Well you shouldn't blame yourself, because there's nothing you could've done.
we know especially later that even if he warned her, there was no way it would have helped. the wheels in motion were so far beyond their control. literal forces of hell and heaven working against them.
MIRROR!SAM You never told her the truth—who you really were. {SAM is now falling towards the ground.} But it's more than that, isn't it? Those nightmares you've been having of Jessica dying, screaming, burning—You had them for days before she died. Didn't you!?! You were so desperate to ignore them, to believe they were just dreams. How could you ignore them like that? How could you leave her alone to die!?! You dreamt it would happen!!!
and these would be my 5th and 6th screenshots of my original viewing. also long slated to paint at some point
DEAN Sammy. Sammy! SAM It's Sam.
forever grateful that dean is stubborn and continues to call him sammy. love a nickname, especially when dean's the only one allowed to call him that
dean getting the ultra blurred out soft focus treatment now, with a side of extra saturation
SAM Charlie? Your boyfriend's death...you really should try to forgive yourself. No matter what you did, you probably couldn't have stopped it. Sometimes bad things just happen. DEAN That's good advice.
good but hard to internalize all the same
DEAN Now that this is all over, I want you to tell me what that secret is. SAM Look...you're my brother and I'd die for you, but there are some things I need to keep to myself.
not quite sure why sam's smiling about this. not to mention how his visions become extremely plot relevant in the future. would think that would be more angsty, not lighthearted
s1e5 / true detective s1e1
i don't know if this is the first time the show made me cry? but the shot of jess on the sidewalk really got me this time around. also reminds me of a shot in true detective s1 that i used in my hannibal / true detective edit.
i've thought about doing some comparative gifs but i do think it's also kind of a common trope. but not like that means it's not worth doing! just selection of the trope from shows i have Feelings about
the song was replaced yet again on netflix, this scene originally had laugh, i nearly died by the rolling stones and they used bones into dust by fred haring instead and it was a good enough sub that it hit me in the feelings, rarity. i don't know what part of the rolling stones song they used but i might actually prefer the vibe a little bit of the substitute?? it's more straight bittersweet melancholy
via the wiki
Dean began to bleed from his eyes when confronted by Mary Worthington, denoting he had a dark secret which creator Eric Kripke claimed would be addressed at a later date. However, the plotline would quickly be dropped and never mentioned again.
lol
so much for these not all being excessively long posts 🤪

A self-indulgent ramble about my playthrough of Scarlet Hollow
I'm mostly writting this as an attempt to get these thoughts out of my head. Spoliers below.
So, I decided to try playing basically myself but more well read (Book Smart) and with the ability to talk to animals. Yes, my first D&D PC was a druid, how did you know? I did as much as I could to ignore bus guy, and I don't like peanuts, so on the bus they remained.
Upon meeting Tabitha, I did break my rule of offering a hug to someone lest they reject it, and reject it she did. So that stung. And in the car, Tabitha's statement about "emotional maturity" did nothing to convince me of anything but her own trauma.
After getting settled in, it was nice to meet Dustin and give him some nesting materials. And as I mentioned, I don't like peanuts, so there's nothing to eat in the house, and I didn't want to break Tabitha's trust immediately, so while I wanted to explore the house, I decided to leave that for later in the week and left the house.
Gretchen is delight and a fantastic friend. Frou-frou is fine, I can respect her need for space, but I'm definitely a dog over cat person. Having a gluten allergy, the diner is a reminder of how unaccommodating places outside NZ were of that, but I've not eaten all day and I'd suffer the headaches for at least something to eat that doesn't contain peanuts.
Meeting Duke with Stella, I told him not to shoot the mountain lions, and uh, well, I had accidentally skipped why he was asking for the flashlight and decided to go save Gretchen who I knew would be killed by the ditchlings like all the other animals we'd seen (also, it was weird that the game tried to suggest the deer's obvious statment on its affliction and warning was a threat?), and as the achievement states, Duke had poor trigger discipline.
Meet Kaneeka & Sybil, but I'm 90% sure I also went back to the estate that night.
The fact that we saw supernatural beings and a man died means I am immediately unconcerned about hiding my ability, there are weirder, more off-putting things going on. One thing I regret about the library was not reading what the game had to say about Tommyknockers.
Of course I immediately go see my cousin when we get to the mine, but I don't wait after I call her about Rosaline because time is of the essence - ditchlings exist, a man died, and this shaft had a collapse that already killed children.
I'm glad no one died, sucks Rosaline lost a foot though.
Checking in on Dustin & his mom is definitely a highlight of the mornings. And I was so worried about Bo dying if I gave him his father's location, but it felt more wrong to keep it from him when the police were so FUCKING USELESS, so it was a relief when I saw him in the later episode.
Cousin Bonding Time is the best, I didn't even know there was romance in this game until hanging out with Reese, but I still would choose CB... cousin bonding time over a date, sorry Stella. And fuck that Piece-of-Shit-Karen Nancy for ruining her morning.
While I thought the pastor left an okay impression and I have no clue why other people found him so sketchy, I also didn't tell him about my conversation with the mayor because I just don't know him.
I definitely clicked that the doc was poisoning Reese even before the game gave me the ability to voice that suspicion. Also, I am still very curious as to why she seemed to immediately detest my presence.
I asked for permission to invite Tabitha and then ignore Kaneeka's objection because asking was a formality. While I didn't object to Tabitha's belief of Oscar's parenting in the car, something that I sort of regretted, and simply further questioned during our morning hangout, I was disappointed that he failed the test of letting Rosaline take part. Like, sure, her being there meant that she knew for sure that her dad wasn't making stuff up, but she also literally lost her foot YESTERDAY, what the fuck Oscar, she shouldn't be in a high stress environment. So, while I don't fully agree with Tabitha about Oscar specifically (she's right about some people shouldn't have kids, *cough* the Scarlets *cough*), he definitely needed to have picked up a parenting book about setting stronger boundries, preferrably a week ago before all this shit happened. But I digress.
Very glad that I was able to win my day in ghost court.
Strike: Told Tabitha people thought she was a hero because of e2 and to not fire Davis, that she should meet with them and after asking what it is they wanted that she should probably give it to them, whilst also being understanding of the financial difficulties of the mine itself. Didn't tell the strikers about Rodriguez because honestly, I don't know what they'd do to him and I don't want another man's death on my conscience and this is less personal than with Bo. Also didn't talk to the strikers in the diner as I didn't want to get attack and/or weaken their efforts.
I did get to go everywhere, the pastor revelation was interesting, but I misread the "this doesn't mean we're friends" and wish it hadn't been so cold, even if yeah, friendship in this game requires immense trauma and life-threatening situations, so you know, maybe Daniel shouldn't want to be my friend.
I regret drinking Sybil's tea, I don't like tea but I thought maybe her insights would be useful... which they weren't. "Oh no, your cousin is going to betray you", I don't trust that idea as far as I can throw it and since I don't have powerful build, that's not very far anyways. At least, according to the decision tree I'm using as reference, I saw more of the Enoch/Teddy interaction.
I do feel sorry for Reese, but no way was I going to let him murder Dr Kelly. That's just more trauma to endure, and also, he does literally turn into a powerful monster when emotionally distressed, so wanting to prevent that from happening is a reasonable desire even if her approach could 100% be better. Also, Sybil was not slick, I already knew she was giving the Doc the castor beans, fucking with my head was as much a confirmation of that belief as hearing it normally. Also, Dr Kelly talking about Reese's dad was really humanising, definitely made me want to chat with her more. Hopefully the game allows you to convince the pair to go about cognitive behavioural therapy / anger management without the need for pills.
Sad that I missed out more Tabitha bonding by not calling her, but I also didn't want to put her in harms unnessecarily (the mines were specifically her business, and the ghost hunting was a group thing anyway). Hope I get a chance to help her and Stella reconnect without having to try and recreate this playthrough up to that point.
And the main reason I wanted to write this:
Based on the death certificate and the vision, Enoch lied about Teddy's cause of death, and with Charlie Jr's death being connected to the sigil and Edwardine's sadness in the moment all leads me to believe that there may come a moment when Tabitha, or maybe the MC, will be tempted to sacrifce the other to secure the future of Scarlet Hollow, and I need to be able to beg Tabitha not to make a blood sacrifice of my character before it gets to that point. And like, I know that feeds into the Sybil tea thing, but that also suggests premeditation which I don't think is the case. I just don't want my character to be made into a literal blood sacrifice on the alter of capitalism when I'm already a figurative one irl.

S1E3-"And the Bag's in the River"
The last 12 hours have been a fever dream so I feel I really understand what its like to be Domingo
TW: Racism, description of gore, Nazi mention, discussion of strangulation.
Credit to their props team or whoever that wet meat is the wettest and the meatiest.
The first time through this episode I assumed the Gretchen flashback was Walt attempting to disassociate from his actions via chemistry (in parallel to Jesse's "its just a bunch of meat!" last episode). With the context of the closing flashback though I think this entire episode is about Walt really confronting the spectre of his own mortality. This is something that influences his conversation with Krazy-8 and his confession to Skyler at the end of this episode
Notably this is probably the only time Walt thinks of Emilio as "human" even if by proxy. I find it interesting that the visual language is suggesting the gun as functionally a part of Emilio's body. When Walt thinks about calcium, he picks up a fragment of his jawbone. When he thinks about iron, he picks up the remains of the gun. Whether its the worldview of Walt or the show, the violence is so much a part of Emilio that it may as well be a part of his chemical composition
"Please don't say yo. You can't know how much I hate that." That theme of language policing is back. Sure, Skyler on a literal level is associating it with a specific bad interpersonal interaction she had. But its also a mom clamping down on how her son talks because she doesn't want him to sound like a criminal. Gonna be a bit of a theme with Junior in this episode.
This episode simultaneously establishes that everyone in the Schrader-White cluster has both used pot and is also a massive freak about it. To be clear, there might be a lens through which SOME of Marie's concern is merited. As I understand it pot is probably not good for a 17 year old. But there's a certain ritualization to the denial of using pot. Skyler used it, and yet asks Marie about it like she was the known pothead in the family. Marie sputters about MAYBE having sampled it, reflects almost nostalgically on its effects, and then immediately freaks out about Junior's proximity to it. Hank admits to indulging to deal with some unspecified childhood baggage, but still considers taking his nephew out to ogle addicts in order to scare him straight a justified tactic. Its perhaps best summed up in Marie and Hank's phonecall. "Autopsy of a pot overdose? C'mon." Deep down all of them know it doesn't have to be a big deal. But we return to that inherent suspicion and distrust. Everyone's a junkie except for me. I'm a sensible, reasonable adult who can be trusted with what substances I indulge in. After all, "I'm extremely clean". Everyone else though, might be subject to an unbecoming dependence.
We have two cases of "everyone else" humanizing themselves. The first is Domingo, who startles Walt with both his ability to reason and to connect. Krazy-8 shatters his image as benevolent by pointing out that keeping him chained up in a basement while they debate was to do with him is frankly a lot more cruel and unusual. He's also able to read Walt extremely easily, picking up his discomfort, teasing out his motivations, and even connecting with him on an interpersonal level.
The other example of this is poor Wendy. Everything about that scene is skin-crawling. Hank dehumanizes her in every way a person can be dehumanized, sexualizing her in a way that doesn't read even slightly as a joke and functionally treating her like an animal. He barks at her to come, to stay, to speak, and then has Junior ogle her teeth before battering her with questions. She's not a passive recipient of his abuse (though who could blame her if she was). While she's clearly used to a fair amount of rough treatment, she still reacts when something crosses a line ("hey I'm not doing him, he's a kid!") and even gets a little of her own back ("why, you got some?"). Wendy isn't doing anything remotely criminal that Hank can see. She's not soliciting, not holding drugs on her, not anything. She's just going about her day. However, for people in her class crime is no longer something you do, its what you are. Hank clearly feels entitled to harass her and threaten her even off the clock. But Wendy lets them know she can see them as much as they can see her, calling out both the inappropriateness of Junior's presence and Hank's fishing. Hank doesn't get the neat horror story about a fall from grace that he wants ("Tell my friend here how you got started. Probably used to be, what? Like a Girl Scout, or sang in the church choir?"). Instead he gets an interaction that not only exposes what a dickbag he is, but that will come back to bite him later.
After a looney tunes ass chase through the house we get the first connection of Walt with Nazis with Jesse's heil Hitler bitch. Primarily I bring it up only because its going to get freakishly poignant in a few seasons but I do think it's worth noting: Jesse's not a good arguer even when he's in the right. He's too inexperienced to understand what's actually wrong with Walt and it enables Walt to perpetually paint him as just an immature child throwing tantrums.
One last note about the Wendy scene before I dive into Domingo's last moments. Hank jumps in to "defend" Junior from the accusation of being disabled. The smile he gives him feels like its meant to be inclusive. Don't worry buddy I won't let this lesser than try to pull you out of the in-group. Have to wonder how much of Junior's childhood he spent with polite euphemisms about his condition.
The pro/con list functionally is its own analysis. The con side is all phrased in absolutes. "Murder is wrong", and more specifically, "YOU are not a murderer". This is factually inaccurate (by this point Walt has killed Emilio and attempted to kill Domingo), but it returns to that idea of criminal as a class rather than an action that I talked about. The Schrader-Whites aren't junkies, they're nice normal people who have once or twice indulged. Walt isn't a murderer, he's a man who's only ever done what he has to for his family! There's a resistance to seeing actions as a reflection of identity, because to do so is to admit the separation between Walt, Jesse, and Domingo is a matter of degrees, not some fundamental aspect of their character.
Domingo plays into this as well, reassuring Walt that he's not cut out for this. HE'S not a cold blooded murderer...he's just a good man, a family man caught way over his head. Its fitting his name means Sunday, because in essence he offers as Walt's confessional priest. He hears his sins, his fears, his secrets, and then offers him the path to redemption.
Walt's mistake here is underestimating how little reason Krazy-8 has to sincerely believe this of him. The plate that give Domingo his weapon is broken over Emilio's bloodstain. He's been held hostage, sick and in pain from the toxic gasses, stuck shitting in a bucket for days on end while Walt quibbles about his mortal soul. I don't want to posture Krazy-8 as some innocent. But the lie works because it feeds Walt's self-perception as the good normal man caught up in all this, and because Walt is very bad at imagining the inner worlds of the people he works with. Whether as a cashier at his father's furniture store or as the gunwielding drug lord or the captive in the basement, to Walt Domingo is a background element to be ignored and puzzled over, not a thinking person with intentions.
He majored in Business Administration at UNM. This surprises Walt, another challenge to his equivocating between education and moral character.
I like that its left a little ambiguous as to whether Domingo was still planning to stab Walter when he came down, or if he reached for it after noticing Walt's strange behavior. The man with lung cancer chokes his first hands on victim.
Final somewhat anti-climactic note: "Its a culture in decline...you people used to be conquistadores" NO HANK THEY DIDN'T.
Fascinating that I can do all this analysis and then it just spells itself out with "It looks like meth but its too damn white."

watched mean girls 2024, did not liked it, the voices are fine but the emotional delivery is absent, they just remade necessary scenes for the plot and called it a movie. Like, i get that if you sing the same lyrics 103732881 times you won't care anymore, but they should be given leaves so they can relax and rekindle their passion for art. They cut out like 90% of character personality, the Gretchen and Karen disappointed me a lot, cause they're my favs from original movies, they made both of them caricature and cut like 80 % of their lines, like what the fuck. The actresses are fine, although i would like better if the swapped actress for Gretchen with actress for Karen, i think it would work better, the person who played Karen has cool curls, it would fit well into "hair is full of secrets" thing, plus it kinda felt racist ngl, like I get that they basically dehumanised and butchered everyone there, but damn, poor Karen.. 😢
I liked the decision to modernise things with the cursed tiktok app, i think it does makes sense, i also liked that they modernised Regina's house and included scenes that were deleted from the original movie, i just wish more thought and time were put into that. I didn't liked the Janis's outfit, like i like it, but not for the character, it doesn't really makes sense, like yeah she artsy and alternative but she mainly just counter part to mean girls, she's antithesis of hyper-femininity of mean girls, like what's the point? Was that supposed to be the thing when mean girls pretend to be someone and Janis not? Well that's not the point, Janis dressing this way not just cause she likes it, but also because it's the opposite of mean girls. Women who dress to oppose patriarchal assumption that women should wear feminine things still dress by patriarchal assumptions. Like, i don't get it.

I AM NEVER GETTING OVER THE MIC DROPS
eliot waugh is an underrated mirrorball character
my hatred of mike can't really be overstated... he is more obstacle than man to me
"this is quentin, this is alice, they are nerds"
the circles under alice's eyes are a major part of her charm to me
alice quinn asking if quentin is in love with her after approximately one week of fucking, insisting that she wouldn't have had sex with him if she wasn't a wild animal, being disturbed that she can still smell him... Your Honor She Does Not Like Men. also she's autistic.
okay gretchen is adorable why don't we see more of her
hell is real and it smells like axe body spray
THE MIKE BUNNY INCIDENT IS SO FUCKING BAD
dear quentin i'm giving up magic thanks for nothing and go fuck yourself
bad marina outfit
further watching of episodes i've forgotten may change this feeling but i do get a sense that marina was interested in julia in a not entirely self-serving way. in another life they were partners in every fuckin sense of the word.
poor eliot "things aren't usually worth caring about" waugh putting his outfit-choosing energy into a little gremlin renfield when quentin is doing his best (terrible) impression of margo just to help him
RICHARD !!!!!! MY FRIEND RICHARD
"who said that?" "some dick"
if i was there i would've thanked alice for bringing flashcards
it is so crazy that eliot first tells the indiana story to fucking mike but "becoming me was the greatest creative project of my life" is a wonderful line so i can almost forgive it
watching a show after selecting a blorbo is crazy bc i'm watching a tragic scene of a man who's lost his magic and i'm thinking sucks to suck :/ shouldn't have told q to go off his meds
the knife wielding mike does is kind of like anti-choreography
penny don't call the medical professional treating you "woman" challenge
"i'm not here to feel any better" kind of a total summary of eliot's character
richard calling hedge tattoos "ink" is so charmingly youth pastor of him
my feeling is that most of penny's ripcord speech to alice is based in a personal hatred of q but i also do like that he'd care about alice enough to say it
(q voice) no better time to info dump about international politics in my favorite children's books than while penny is dying
honestly q takes the "fillory is real" news in stride, considering the person that he is
on my first watch and again now i find what julia is doing MUCH more interesting than the brakebills storyline. also there's something incredibly appropriate about her praying to a harvest goddess her first time.
they're FUNGIBLE. YOU'RE FUNGIBLE.
god these people have boring most prized possessions
the jane reveal blew my fucking mind my first watch, then for her to fucking DIE immediately after? that's the kind of insanity that makes you believe in this show
HOWEVER, fuck you all magicians writers for punishing eliot for opening up by making him kill his first serious partner
i love love love alice's checkerboard door and i do not believe that she is enjoying heterosexual intimacy behind it

More accidental character parallels that occurred to me in the shower last night:
All four of the POV characters in Empty Names have a person in their lives who failed, hurt, or betrayed them in some way but who is still important to them.
Lacuna has her aunt Morgan, a badass transfem witch/scientist who is basically everything Lacuna wants to be, and could probably have helped her achieve those things for herself, but unfortunately she somehow both failed to realize that Lacuna was struggling in the closet until after she came out and then failed to realize that Lacuna was also aware of the existence of the supernatural. So no help or mentorship was ever able to be rendered until the part where it was most needed had come and gone.
Ashan has his mentor, Aliana who (in a series of panicked poor decisions) straight up kidnapped him and faked his death when he was nine, took him to a magical otherworld, realized she’d seriously messed up, taught him to be a wizard, and spent the next decade trying to be the best replacement parent she could while taking him on one cool adventure after another in hopes that he’d never ask when he was going to go back home. And then he did ask, she was honest with him, she took him back home, and he saw that his family had already grieved him and moved on so he had no home to go back to anymore. Oh, and then there was the whole incident of the translation charm she got him shortly after the initial kidnapping being (unknown to her) faulty so that years of relying on it slowly made it so that he can no longer process language with out some form of magic aid at all times so he can no longer even speak the languages he grew up with.
Eris has Gretchen, her ex-girlfriend who introduced her to the wider monster hunting community, helped her with some self-acceptance stuff, and generally had a lot of shared interests while also being able to teach one another things. And then she went full toxic yuri with “Wouldn’t it be romantic if one of us literally turned into a monster, forcing the other to have to tragically put her down with her own hands and then also probably die from injuries sustained in the fight?” And then she tried to actually make that happen.
Sullivan has Carnette. His wife. Whom he married for money and power (and as a bit taken too far) but then fell in love with. Whom he may or may not have killed but is definitely gone now. Whom he misses deeply. Whom he is constantly surrounded by reminders of because he lives in a house where every single room and light fixture was created by her magic because despite having the power to bend and break reality at a whim her favorite hobby was interior design. Who left him with a house where nothing functions quite right without her being there. Who made him nigh immortal. Who made it so he is physically incapable of sleeping or falling unconscious, which the human mind simply isn’t equipped to handle in the long term. Who replaced all his internal organs with a rift in reality to the nonspace between worlds where the eldritch horrorterrors dwell. To whom he remains so loyal that the idea of ever being with someone else romantically is unthinkable. Who correctly believed he loved his best friend more than her.
And then there’s Road. Road has Sullivan.

Inside the Conservative Movement to Promote Adoption
These states banned abortion. Now they’re pushing adoption as an empowering choice for pregnant women.
The mothers of ModernAdoptionPlans.org have a message for women who find themselves unexpectedly pregnant: You, too, can turn this difficult time into a rewarding experience by relinquishing your baby for adoption. In glossy videos, they tell their stories. They found themselves in crisis. Many considered abortions before deciding on adoption. It was a painful choice, but it was the right choice. “This is one of the greatest things a parent could ever do,” says Adrianne, a Black birth mother, from a sun-filled loft. Sarah, a white birth mother, speaks to us from what looks like a church. “I didn’t choose what was best for me. I chose what was best for him,” she says. Billboards, radio ads, and TV commercials across Texas urge residents to visit the website. In addition to the videos, Modern Adoption produced a resource guide where readers can find adoption agencies and crisis pregnancy centers, which are known to spread misinformation and push adoption. But nowhere does the site mention that the campaign is part of the multimillion-dollar, taxpayer-funded state program to dissuade women from having abortions.
[...]
Conservatives have long embraced adoption as one such alternative, allowing women to avoid the “consequences of parenting and the obligation of motherhood,” as Justice Amy Coney Barrett suggested during the Dobbs arguments. Liberals embrace adoption, too—particularly as a way to build families regardless of sexual orientation or race. But some adoption experts warn that the policies and campaigns gloss over a painful reality: Many women only turn to adoption when they feel they have no other choice. Gretchen Sisson, a sociologist at University of California–San Francisco, interviewed more than 100 birth mothers for her recent book, Relinquished: The Politics of Adoption and the Privilege of American Motherhood. Most of the women wanted to parent their infants but ultimately relinquished their children because of financial constraints. “We’re never actually listening to what people in these situations need,” Sisson says. “What they say they need is a safety net. What they say they need is a crisis response so that they can raise their kids.” (States with abortion bans are less likely to have such safety nets, including Medicaid expansion, paid parental leave policies, and direct cash assistance for poor families.)
