As i posted it on another person’s post, it felt wrong not to post it here

So here it is, The Lost Boy Wonder AU i’ve been working on for MONTHS

Under the cut cause this is stupidly long and it’s not even the full thing

Timothy Jackson Drake was born in England in 1604, the older sibling to Augustus Drake (Jack’s ancestor) and Gwendolyn Wayne nee Drake (Bruce’s ancestor). 8 years later, he met Peter Pan outside a gala. It didn’t take much to make the neglected son (whose parents were planning on marrying off soon) agree to an everlasting childhood.

Peter was 13 while the oldest of the lost boys was only 10, making almost all of them view him as a cool older brother that you’re desperate for the approval of. With him not being interested in parenting and his bad memory, the lost boys were forced to fend for themselves (they hunted their own food, made their own clothes (they can and have gone decades without seeing peter)), making them all desperate for affection.

Tim saw the glint of the golden cage 20 years into his stay, but chose Peter’s arms over freedom (“don’t you want to be my assistant?” “i…yes”). It would take another 200 years for him to think about escaping again.

During those years, a lot happened. Many lost boys arrived, the pirates showed up (Tim is besties with Captain Hook after the pirate forgives him for being peer-pressured into cutting off the guy’s hand), Tim followed Peter around constantly (Peter eventually nicknamed him “Shadow” and it became his official lost boy name (his other lost boy name is Crow as he’s in a crow costume)), he tries to learn fairy and fails cause Tink gets tired of him and Peter spends half of their conversations blatantly lying, and Tim became sort of like the ambassador for the lost boys as he reminds Peter they exist.

This time, Tim escapes frantically, not wanting to get drawn back into Peter’s rare affection (and Tim’s not-so-secret crush (poor baby gay raised in a homophobic time in love with his kidnapper)). He steals pixie dust (he used it to get to neverland and when going with Peter to grab more lost boys) and flies as fast as he can, eventually reaching a city he sort of recognizes. Oh…London’s changed a lot. He searched for his house, for Gus and Gwen, but he knew he wouldn’t find it. He knew they were dead.

But then, he heard a voice. A girl, telling a story about Peter, well Peter if he wasn’t a bitch. Her family reminded him of his siblings, if they were reversed. He listens to the story while hiding in the corner, rather hard to do considering everyone whose used pixie dust glows a tiny bit and thus doesn’t have a shadow (science has no place here okay).

But someone (especially a lost boy) was bound to notice his disappearance eventually and there’s only one person they could tell. So Peter shows up with his smile and charm (“have you seen my shadow?”) and takes Tim back, along with a few extra guests.

Wendy and Tim are besties after she forgives him for being the reason her family is stuck in Neverland. It’s helpful that Tim is the only Lost Boy who isn’t rebuffing her and that he is one of the least violent Lost Boys (it’s an island filled with immortal preteen boys, ofc they murder each other a lot). Tim has also has a crush on Wendy, spiking another sexuality crisis. But since she’s physically 4 years older than him, nothing happens.

To keep you on track with this horrible timeline, it should be noted that Alfred is not born for another 128 years after Wendy is kidnapped. Tim is old.

Finally Tim, with Wendy and Hook’s help, escapes Neverland. He shows up in Gotham as a murdery 8 year old wearing a crow onesie and convinces most of the people he runs into that he’s a rogue.

— it was the first day of jujutsu high and classes had yet to be started

— gojo was late and he could care less. after all the fact he was even attending should be more than enough

— you were also late but your thoughts couldnt be more different. you were rushing and bumping into objects. oh and would you look at that, this time you didnt bump into any object but gojo satoru himself

— "hey! the hell?! are you blind??" then he looks at you, like LOOKS looks at you. wow you were super pretty

— even though you apologized, gojo wouldn't let it go. ranting about how it was pure blasphemy that you havent kneeled over and begged for his forgiveness, that he was the strongest all that (he just didnt want to attend class and be with you, the pretty girl instead)

— at this point you were tired and just left while he was still yapping 🧍‍♂️

— yaga gave you a deadpanned look when you bowed and apologized for being late and just after you came the famed gojo satoru, shouting at you all the while how you were such a rude girl. you just had enough of him but didnt want to make a scene in front of yaga so just scoffed. this made gojo react even worse

— yaga had the look of a person who wasnt paid enough for their job, he sighed deeply and told you both to come inside already

— there were already two student inside, you sat next to the pretty girl and politely smiled at her and she nodded at you

— gojo instead, he dragged a chair next to you and sat there. and during the whole class he kept poking at you, calling you rude girl (he just wants your attention) yaga was so tired and so were you and rest of the students

— after the classes were over, he didnt waste time trapping you before you could leave and asking you what was your deal as if he wasnt the one annoying you

— you scrunched your nose at him and begrudgingly told your name so that he would leave you alone. but you didnt know that from the moment you bumped into him, you forever sealed your fate with him

— now during every classes, he has to talk to you (one sided conversations) when yagas literally teaching, have his arm wrapped around you when he sees you as if youre his old pal, eat your food from your plate (you slap his arm away everytime)

— but you actually got used to him and his stupid jokes, sometimes laughing with him when the joke about yagas beard becomes a little too funny (poor guy). even though he annoyed you greatly at first, theres no denying that hes funny, witty, oddly charming and mayyyyybe a bit handsome (read: a lot).

— gojo found you the absolute cutest thing ever. the way you would try to suppress your laughter even though you found his jokes funny as to not give him the satisfaction, the way your eyes would light up when your favorite dessert was on the lunch menu for that day (he was the one who requested) and the way you would bite back everytime he would tease you always enamored him.

— well, looks like hes starting to develop a crush

— geto sighed heavily, he could tell that all his classmates (3 people only) would be a mega pain in his ass. especially gojo satoru (seriously whats wrong with him!!)

— after gojo satoru and shoko ieiri finished their introductions, the next student aka you were supposed to say yours. geto could admit that you had a pretty cute face

— "my names ____. nice to meet you all! hopefully we all will be friends."

— geto begged to dffer, he could not imagine himself being friends with gojo satoru. besides he wasnt here to make friends. you were probably the sanest and normal person here (also the cutest) so maybe you could be his... acquaintance?

— after the classes were over, he was leaving but you suddenly stopped him. saying how you three were going to eat together so he should join as well

— he couldve said no (and he wouldve if it were somebody else) but strangely he wanted to be with you, even if it meant that he would have to listen to gojos grating voice

— and with the way you smiled at him when he agreed, he thought it was worth it

— during the entire lunch he blocked out gojos voice, instead opted to listen to you and talk to you only, which left shoko to deal with gojos antics

— he and you both talked and interestingly, you both held similar beliefs (although you were definitely not hateful like him)

— he came to know you had rct and would make sure to always go to missions personally so that sorcerers would be safe

— this made him respect you even more. finally someone values a sorcerers life too

— after your conversation, he found out that you both also had similar music tastes and book preferences. which made your conversation even more enjoyable

— from that day onward, he shares with you his earphone so you both could jam to the same music. late night conversations about politics and book recommendations were now part of his daily routine

— he actually enjoys your presence more than he would admit.you were a fresh breath of air for him and also ...you were quite beautiful

—maybe you have ranked up from acquaintance to potential crush?

Some silly hcs for my silly little rarepair from a random AOSTH episode!! (Scratch x Henrietta hcs!)

(.. I wanted to write a fic but didn't know what to write about exactly plot wise 🥲 anyways this is probably gonna be cringey so you have been warned! And long! Probably long!!)

So these would all take place after they met up again. Scratch wouldn't be with Robotnik probably by this point and is probably recovering from y'know, actual abuse.

The two sorta meet up and Scratch apologizes for the whole amnesia thing (finally giving him a chance to explain) and Henrietta forgives him. So it goes from there (can ya tell idk what to make the story exactly, aa 😭).

Also I do hc Scratch as a trans lesbian. So um y ea. I use he/she for him usually.

Anyways, the two preen eachother like.. Well birds!

Scratch attempts to help Henrietta out on her farm, but he kinda sucks at a lot of the tasks. He's good with the chickens, though.

Also obviously motorcycle/bike rides! I like to think Henrietta has multiple, cuz I find the fact she's both a motorcyclist and a farm girl charming. She likes to speed through random fields near the farm for funsies.

The two probably move out on their own. Not far from Henrietta's parents (obviously) but like, to their own cottage (haha cottagecore).

Scratch is very awkward when it comes to showing affection. Henrietta will be all OVER her, and she won't know what to do because she's simply not used to it. Scratch does try though! She gives random kisses here and there and occasionally cuddles up with Henrietta first. It's not that Scratch doesn't like affection, she adores it. Scratch just doesn't know what to do cuz she's used to abuse and isolation. (Ofc except Grounder, yay siblings!)

The two do eachothers makeup because cute!

Self indulgent as HELL but both are autistic.

And share special interests.

And will rant about them to eachother for hours and hours.

Scratch and Henrietta both wake up at sunrise. As much as Scratch finds it funny to annoy poor Grounder by crowing at the night owl (or uh.. Mole) to wake up, it's a nice change of pace to live with a fellow morning bird. He still crows though!

Scratch will fight anyone who tries to harm Henrietta. Henrietta insists unless one of them is in immediate danger that the fighting isn't necessary, but Scratch sometimes forgets about that.

Pet namess I mean this is already canon. Henrietta has her cute little pet names for Scratch like dear, darling, sweetie, and ect. Scratch isn't very good at coming up with pet names, but she started to mimic her's which Henrietta finds cute.

They share a nest bed. Because I find Scratch's nest bed in the show downright amazing and incredible.

Henrietta gains comfort weight and is chubby, CRY ABOUT IT!!

Henrietta kinda helps Scratch learn about the world from a non-villain perspective. Scratch is still a little "evil" ofc, I'm bias I adore silly little evil guys (team Skull my beloveds). But not legit taking over the world, endangering lives, and abusive evil! Anyways, Henrietta kinda helps Scratch acclimate into a more peaceful life.

Scratch is secretly a bit insecure about how she looks, but Henrietta helps him love herself a little more.

Henrietta helps put Scratch together if he ever breaks. She's no robotics engineer, but she does know how to fix vehicles. So she has a bit of knowledge plus guides and studies on robots.

I'll probably come up with more later, but that's all for now! Sorry if there's any bad grammar or typos, I am so so tired cuz been busy on remodeling my entire room 😭!

She was his best friend. They were best friends. That was what Rohit told himself every time Gwen called him at an unreasonable hour for something. It was almost nine and he had only just showered and eaten after a long day at work when she called. As much as there was a voice in the back of his mind telling him not to, Rohit sighed and agreed to be over shortly, throwing on whatever was clean and close by before making the trek in his car to Gwen's place.

He was tired, and he was sure whatever she needed was far from an emergency, but that wasn't going Rohit from being there for Gwen like he always had. Since college the pair had bonded to a point of being near inseparable, and while he had never intended to be the creepy guy laying and waiting on the sidelines pretending to be a friend to shoot his shot, Rohit couldn't deny that he was painfully in love with Gwen. She was beautiful, funny, smart and charming; the kind of girl he never could get close to in high school and yet she saw past his stereotypical exterior enough to befriend him. But Rohit was not the type to be bold and make moves. As his feelings grew with their friendship, he became less and less sure of himself until the time came where he didn't feel it was right to say anything.

Thus he became her slave in all the ways that matter. He was a shoulder to cry on, and ear to vent to, the friend who would bail her out if needed. The guy who she could call after hours and would show up. The traffic being forgiving, he arrived at her place not long after, rang, and waited to bet let in before making a poor attempt at looking at her disapprovingly. "What is it that was so important that I had to be here instead of at home binging Breaking Bad?"

Again, I thank you to the people who have followed me through, it motivated me to keep updating? Which is great because WHEN I rewatch this, I am excited to go through these notes and go "AWW", so whilst I am unable to rewatch this show again for the first time, I CAN see how I reacted, which I think is quite nice, don't you?

Now we got the feelings out of the way, ONTO SEASON 3 EVERYONE! The final stretch of our (virtual) adventure!

Oh yeah, and it's Sunday, isn't it? I'm going to leave y'all with a sneak peek and then go transplant some lettuce. Have another one from the ageswap AU, because it's on my mind (and my blog) today.

There’s a woman at the bar, when Reed walks in, sitting at his usual place. She’s around his age, maybe a little older, but she wears it well. Dark, curly hair pulled back in a tidy ponytail, crisp pastel blouse buttoned low enough to reveal the occasional glimpse of small pale breasts cupped in white lace, a little gold charm in the shape of a pair of ballet slippers glinting in the hollow of her throat. She’s not really his usual type – he goes more for blonde, tan, and busty – but she’s pretty, in a raw-boned, fox-faced kind of way.

She’s laughing with the bartender when Reed sits down, and doesn’t seem to notice him at first. But she looks over, when he tells the bartender he’ll get her next round, and flashes him a brilliant smile. Her eyes are big and blue, with thick, sooty lashes. Even the crow’s feet in their corners are kind of weirdly charming.

“Don’t think I’ve seen you around here before,” Reed says. “And I never forget a pretty face.”

She giggles like a schoolgirl and ducks her chin toward her chest, before looking up at him through those long dark lashes. She’s got a nice smile. A little shy. A little coy. “Thanks. You’re right, I’m not from around here.”

“I’m Reed,” Reed says, holding out a hand. She takes it and gives it a surprisingly powerful pump.

“Holly.” Her smile turns a little bit mischievous as she looks him over, and she says, “So. Reed. Come here often?”

They shoot the shit for a couple of minutes, while she nurses her beer and he downs his and orders another. She’s really impressed when she finds out he’s a state trooper. Wants to know if he’s ever had to shoot anybody. If she can hold his gun.

“I feel like I’ve seen your face somewhere,” she says, turning on her stool to face him and leaning one elbow on the bar as she frowns thoughtfully at him. The angle gives him a fantastic view straight down her blouse. Reed tries not to look like he’s staring.

“I’ve had girls tell me I look like Sean Connery,” he offers, with his best smile. “You know. Bond, Jamesh Bond?”

But Holly just keeps frowning at him, shaking her head.

“No, that’s not it. It was definitely you.” She squints a little. “Were you ever on TV? Maybe on the news or something?”

Oh. Yeah. “Were you following the story about that missing girl over in Hawkins?”

Holly’s whole face falls. “Oh. That was so sad. Her poor family.” There’s something – different about her voice as she says, “I can’t imagine losing a kid like that.”

“Yeah. Well, I was the one who found her.”

There’s a moment of silence as they both stare at their bottles.

“Wow,” Holly says, after a moment, like she doesn’t know what to say. “That must have been - so hard for you.”

Reed’s beer is almost empty. He waves to the bartender for another. “Well, at least now her family knows what happened to her.” He wonders if he’s laying it on too thick as he adds, “In a way, I feel like I’ve helped. Like I did something. I wouldn’t go so far as to call myself a ‘hero’, but…”

Holly bats those long lashes at him. “You have such a hard job.” She drums her fingers against her bottle, canting her head to one side before she asks, “So do you usually patrol around Hawkins, or…?”

“Why? Hoping you’ll see me around?”

Holly smiles, slow, and gives him a playful swat in the arm. A little hard for playful, but she’s pretty and she’s interested in him, so Reed can forgive her. “Maybe I am. Is that a crime?” She gives him another bat of those lashes. “Are you going to have to put me in handcuffs?”

“Only if you want me to,” Reed offers, and Holly giggles again, with that almost-shy duck of the head. It’s kind of cute.

“I was just wondering, you know, how all that works. How you ended up being the one to find her. Is that quarry state-owned? Did the local police call you guys to help with the search?”

“Oh, yeah,” Reed agrees, wanting to move them off the topic of dead kids and back onto the topic of fun things to do with handcuffs. “State-owned, state-run. And you know how it is. Small-town police force, with a case like this, they just get overwhelmed.” He leans in a little closer. “I mean, the Hawkins chief of police is a woman. Not that I’ve got anything against that, but – you know how women get about kids.”

Holly’s smile’s gone kind of…thin. Reed really hopes she’s not one of those women’s lib types. He hadn’t pegged her for a man-hater, but – you never know, these days.

Thankfully, all she says is, “Wow, your job must be really depressing. Why don’t we stop talking about it and go make out in the bathroom instead?”

Reed grins. “Thought you’d never ask.”

He’s not expecting Holly to be the one who slams him up against the wall as soon as they burst through the door of the women’s room. She fists a hand in Reed’s shirt, practically panting for it, then locks eyes with the chick fixing her lipstick in the mirror and says, “Can we have the room?”

The chick caps her lipstick, raising both hands as she sidles past them and hurries out of the bathroom. Holly reaches out and shoots the lock on the bathroom door, and Reed feels a grin spreading across his face. This isn’t how he was expecting this afternoon to go at all, but he’s definitely not complaining.

At least, he isn’t until Holly pulls a gun out of who knows where and jams it up under his chin. “What the f-”

“The Hawkins police department didn’t call in the staties,” Holly says, and every drop of flirty sweetness in it has been replaced with solid steel. “And that quarry’s been owned and operated by the Sattler family for more than three decades. So. You’re going to tell me the truth, or we’re going to find out just how attached you really are to your head.”

Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker (2006)

Most movies are obviously good or bad. Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker (or simply Stormbreaker in certain regions) has what it takes to entertain young teens but its low points are subterranean. I hesitated to call it a miss until I saw the villains. This adaptation of the book by Anthony Horowitz is derivative of every spy movie you've ever seen. Even if you can forgive that, there’s no way you can take the bad guys seriously.

Orphaned at a young age, Alex Rider (Alex Pettyfer in yet another bad YA Novel adaptation) is recruited by MI-6 when his uncle (Ewan McGregor) is killed in action. His mission? Pose as a contest winner and get close to billionaire Darrius Sayle (Mickey Rourke) to find out the real reason he created “Stormbreaker”, a computer system he claims will change the world.

It’s ridiculous to believe a 14-year-old would be recruited by a government agency but that’s part of the fantasy. Turns out Alex has been subconsciously trained by his uncle for years. He can stand toe-to-toe with ruthless thugs (in cleverly conceived action scenes by John Woo that are unfortunately not convincingly shot). He just needs the chance to prove himself. Then he’ll have the opportunity to get his revenge… and save the world too. In Bond-like fashion, Alex is given a variety of amusing gadgets disguised as everyday “kid” objects. A yoyo, a pen and a Nintendo DS (available in stores now!). Those are pretty cool.

Whenever Stormbreaker starts winning you over with its teenage charms, a disappointment is unfortunately right around the corner. When they introduce Mickey Rourke’s Darrius Sayle, you’ll be flabbergasted. With pimp-like clothes, a cane, a ponytail and blue eyeliner, he looks like a caricature. And then, there are the contrivances and coincidences, not to mention the poor planning. Sayle has a personal vendetta against the Prime Minister (Robbie Coltrane) so he’s filled the Stormbreaker computers with a deadly virus. Not a computer virus; a green liquid that will kill millions of children when his old enemy presses a big red button as part of the launching ceremony. Said big red button is encoded to launch the virus only if the Prime Minister presses it. This means Sayle couldn’t release the virus (the literal virus. I can’t get over it) even if he wanted to!

This sort of logical head-scratcher isn’t alone. It’s accompanied by a double-whammy of bumping into the right person, at the right time. To prevent the big button from being pressed, Alex desperately needs help. Who happens to be at the ceremony providing security? None other than the soldiers he was training with a week ago. The authorities must’ve had a great deal of confidence in them considering their first mission is this high-profile. Alex uses one of their weapons and destroys the button. His evil scheme down the toilet, Style runs away. Alex goes to pursue him but oh no! Traffic! How could he possibly catch up? Well by asking his school crush, Sabina (Sarah Bolger) for a ride! She just happens to be riding a horse right outside the building! Sure, why not?

Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker is not a Harry Potter ripoff in the same way as the Billy Owens or Percy Jackson franchises but it’s pretty clear it wanted to cash in on the craze. An orphaned boy who discovered he belongs to a secret organization, access to special powers/resources, a film series whose leading man is destined to grow into a hunk for the girls, action scenes to appeal to the boys, a twist on an old formula to make it fresh (in this case, James Bond). Yeah, it fits. Unfortunately, this first chapter has none of the metaphorical magic needed to have lasting power. Plus, it’s just not a good movie. Alex Rider: Operation Stormbreaker is yet another mid-2000s flick that ends on a note promising a sequel that never happened. (July 31, 2020)

Chapter 38:

So as Yakumo and Pai face off against Ran Pao Pao, Jake gets his hands on the incense burner. He remembers the manuscript that led him to it and figures out that he has to find the ancient city of Konron and spill blood on the burner then he'll finally meet a triclops!

(Dramatic irony, specifically.)

He asks for Yakumo and Pai to forgive him as he makes his getaway, stopping only when the rich guy throws the talisman at him and retrieves the burner with it. He calls Jake out for abandoning his allies and, when Jake tells him to fuck off, he tells him that he's going to kill him and the kids for knowing too much about the Holy Land. Jake tries to point out that since he's the guy with the burner, he doesn't need to kill them. But here's the problem...that Hong-Nyang kid that disappeared? That's the base form of Ran Pao Pao. And she isn't as nice as the guy who'll kill a teenage girl for a prophecy.

During their fight, Pai tries to call out to Hong-Nyang that she's a nice girl and that she wouldn't attack them like this. She asks what happened to her...and then she notices the charm on the necklace that she's wearing: Shiva's Claw. Yakumo warns her to stay away from her and that the seal is still active so she can be pulled inside at any time. Pai begs Hong-Nyang for the Shiva's Claw back as the latter pounces on her, not moving from her spot. Yakumo tries to use the Earth's Claw on Hong to protect Pai but Hong grabs his wrist, picks him up and rams her hand through his stomach.

Pai pleads for Hong to let Yakumo go, despite the latter trying to warn her that she's still in the seal and she needs to go. The seal activates and ends up dragging all three inside, much to Jake's horror. The rich guy taunts him over their "demise"...but asks him who Pai was anyway. Jake solemnly admits he doesn't know.

So, on the other side of the seal, Hong in her Ran Pao Pao form tries to break through the barrier but to no avail. Poor Pai's arm is being torn apart while she begs for anyone, her grandparents or her friends, to help her. Then she remembers the Devil King and decides to fight Ran Pao Pao anyway, saying she won't die until she beats her. She grabs the Shiva Claw around her neck and says an incantation...

Meanwhile, Jake and the rich guy are just standing around for some reason before the seal blows open, shocking them both and ending the chapter.

SAME HATTTTTTTTT!!!!!! This is my au summarized (ive never summarized it before cause i plan on writing it and i dont want to spoil)

Timothy Jackson Drake was born in England in 1604, the older sibling to Augustus Drake (Jack’s ancestor) and Gwendolyn Wayne nee Drake (Bruce’s ancestor). 8 years later, he met Peter Pan outside a gala. It didn’t take much to make the neglected son (whose parents were planning on marrying off soon) agree to an everlasting childhood.

Peter was 13 while the oldest of the lost boys was only 10, making almost all of them view him as a cool older brother that you’re desperate for the approval of. With him not being interested in parenting and his bad memory, the lost boys were forced to fend for themselves (they hunted their own food, made their own clothes (they can and have gone decades without seeing peter)), making them all desperate for affection.

Tim saw the glint of the golden cage 20 years into his stay, but chose Peter’s arms over freedom (“don’t you want to be my assistant?” “i…yes”). It would take another 200 years for him to think about escaping again.

During those years, a lot happened. Many lost boys arrived, the pirates showed up (Tim is besties with Captain Hook after the pirate forgives him for being peer-pressured into cutting off the guy’s hand), Tim followed Peter around constantly (Peter eventually nicknamed him “Shadow” and it became his official lost boy name (his other lost boy name is Crow as he’s in a crow costume)), he tries to learn fairy and fails cause Tink gets tired of him and Peter spends half of their conversations blatantly lying, and Tim became sort of like the ambassador for the lost boys as he reminds Peter they exist.

This time, Tim escapes frantically, not wanting to get drawn back into Peter’s rare affection (and Tim’s not-so-secret crush (poor baby gay raised in a homophobic time in love with his kidnapper)). He steals pixie dust (he used it to get to neverland and when going with Peter to grab more lost boys) and flies as fast as he can, eventually reaching a city he sort of recognizes. Oh…London’s changed a lot. He searched for his house, for Gus and Gwen, but he knew he wouldn’t find it. He knew they were dead.

But then, he heard a voice. A girl, telling a story about Peter, well Peter if he wasn’t a bitch. Her family reminded him of his siblings, if they were reversed. He listens to the story while hiding in the corner, rather hard to do considering everyone whose used pixie dust glows a tiny bit and thus doesn’t have a shadow (science has no place here okay).

But someone (especially a lost boy) was bound to notice his disappearance eventually and there’s only one person they could tell. So Peter shows up with his smile and charm (“have you seen my shadow?”) and takes Tim back, along with a few extra guests.

Wendy and Tim are besties after she forgives him for being the reason her family is stuck in Neverland. It’s helpful that Tim is the only Lost Boy who isn’t rebuffing her and that he is one of the least violent Lost Boys (it’s an island filled with immortal preteen boys, ofc they murder each other a lot). Tim has also has a crush on Wendy, spiking another sexuality crisis. But since she’s physically 4 years older than him, nothing happens.

To keep you on track with this horrible timeline, it should be noted that Alfred is not born for another 128 years after Wendy is kidnapped. Tim is old.

Finally Tim, with Wendy and Hook’s help, escapes Neverland. He shows up in Gotham as a murdery 8 year old wearing a crow onesie and convinces most of the people he runs into that he’s a rogue.

I came up with this AU a while back - probably a few months after I stumbled into this fandom - and it's been bouncing around in my head for a while. (Excuse the scatterbrained nature of this post, I'm just writing my thoughts as they come)

Tim Drake meets Peter Pan (OUAT edition)

I mean, he's the perfect candidate for a lost boy. Neglected, lonely and will probably become scarily loyal to the first person who offers him a way out of that. Not to mention, he's smart, has loose morals (I mean, he did stalk and blackmail Batman) and can be a little ruthless at times, he'd be Peter's right hand man in no time.

So, he lives as a lost boy for a while, but finds Peter's ways of doing things too dark or cruel and, being the baby genius he is, escaped from Neverland, back to Gotham.

But also, we could combine this concept with the Tim joins the family early trope. Like, he goes to Neverland a couple of times, but also starts connecting with the Waynes, so that could be part of the reason he's able to let go of that loyalty to Peter, because he's got something better waiting for him. He never tells the Wayne's about his time in Neverland, worrying that they'll see him differently due to the morally grey things he did there as Peter's right hand man. Tim deals with quite a bit of imposter syndrome and insecurity, but ultimately, he's more happy than not.

Then, a few years later, Damian comes in and is all, well, Damian about things which makes things take a bad turn for Tim. The family is bad at balance/communication and Tim "Abandonment Issues" Drake is a very unreliable narrator at times, so it's angst galore. Then Peter turns up again.

Tim goes with him to Neverland, this time with the intention of staying forever.

Or, we could go another route and look into Damian, a kid whose whole life had been uprooted as he's sent to live with a father he's never met and with a family with vastly different dynamics to what he's used to. He's not neglected, but he's certainly lonely. Especially when being held up to expectations and moral standards that he finds impossible to comprehend after being raised by Talia and Ra's.

So Peter comes back, but he takes Damian instead, as a way to lure Tim back to Neverland. And, even if he doesn't like Damian much right now, of course Tim will go after him because that's his little brother and no way in hell is he letting Peter take him.

We could even sprinkle in a little backstory about Peter knowing Bruce from when Bruce was a kid, after his parents died. Now, two of Bruce's sons are missing and he has to find a way to Neverland.

That's where Jason comes in. Jason Todd, the ultimate lost boy who never was. Not for lack of trying. Peter's shadow swooped down to get him when he was living on the streets, but Jay isn't some naive kid, he's a Gothamite, a Crime Alley kid and he knows that if someone - even that someone is a creepy shadow person - grabs you and tries to get you to a secondary location, you fucking fight it with all you have. So, Jason never makes it to Neverland. Instead, he fights so hard that the shadow drops him, right onto Captain Hook - Killian Jones' - ship. They bond, Killian teaches Jason the ropes, but Jason ultimately decides to go back to Gotham for whatever reason (maybe Killian messes up or Jason's trust issues get the better of him) and he leaves.

We could also play around with parallels between Bruce and Peter. Both taking in lost, lonely kids that no one else wants, having them fight battles, Peter could even hit Bruce with that 'at least my boys will never die' as if forcing them to live forever in eternal stagnation is so much better.

While in Neverland together, Tim and Damian start to bond over their feelings of never truly belonging anywhere. That they'll be forever defined by what they did over who they are. As they grow closer, Tim reassures Damian that he will always belong with him, to give him the chance to prove it.

Meanwhile, Bruce, Dick and Jason are on their way to Neverland. And Peter is ready to start playing the game.

You have to explain it every time, Lucy on the other hand seems quite happy when people ask her if you're her boyfriend. She knows you two aren't yet but she dearly hopes soon you'll be. The mage starts spending so much time around you and constantly gives you hugs, grabs your hands or gives you even a quick peck on the cheeks. A relationship takes some work after all so she tries to appeal to you as much as she can with her own charm. If you're close with Natsu, she also attempts to ask him what you like. She doesn't want him and Happy to know though, she knows they'd tease the hell out of her and might also spoil everything to you.

🗝️ Totally heartbroken when her s/o suddenly starts avoiding and ignoring her. He can't look her properly in her eyes anymore, cuts conversations short and tries to come up with all excuses to be anywhere where she isn't. At first she thinks that someone might have told you that she likes you, might make a quick accusation with tears in her eyes before her guildmates swear to her that no one has told you. In either case she suffers from a fragile heart, is less chipper and outspoken. Natsu and Erza promise her to beat an answer out of her darling but she stops them, doesn't want her darling to get into troubles because of those two even though she's thanks them for their help. She was confident she could pull it off but apparently she was too cocky. Lucy likely suffers from insecurities afterwards.

🗝️ When you turn up one day in front of her house, she opens immediately but holds back from hugging you, still unsure. She lets you inside, fiddles nervously with her clothes and asks you what you want. She hasn't talked to you in a while, has only watched you from the distance. When her darling admits to her though that he's only been avoiding her because he had troubles to figure out how to feel about her since a while and needed some time alone, her heart starts leaping inside her chest. Is this...? Her cheeks turn red when you say that you like her more than a friend and apologize for most likely hurting her with your cold behavior. She forgives her darling immediately, happy tears in her eyes as her delusion turns into reality. She just knows that you two will always be together from now on.

Wendy Marvell

🌬️ Wendy is also very delusional and naive about her whole obsession, thankfully Carla at least seems to have a clue about that something is off about her friend. Differently from Lucy though, Wendy feels a bit more insecure about her and on top of that is really bashful and shy around her darling. She doesn't know how to speak to him without stuttering and feels easily down when she's a bit ditzy around him and embarrasses herself in front of him. She's quite obvious to everyone so her older guildmates most likely end up trying to give her advices how to approach you. Especially the girls are into it, the guys are less of a help but Wendy appreciates their questionable advices nevertheless. She attempts to gift her crush cute little gifts as her way to show him that she likes him.

🌬️ When you just walk past her and pretend like you're busy, she freezes on the spot and just stares straight ahead, her poor heart crushed and tears starting to gather in her eyes. Wendy doesn't want her friends to see her cry though so she swallows everything down for now and just gives everyone a painful smile and thanks them for their help before she runs away, Carla following her worried. She isn't the same anymore, silent and constantly trying to hide. Considering that she's one of the little birds in the nest, everyone would be really protective and for that quite angry with you. Natsu probably plans to drag you back so that you can apologize but Wendy just begs him to let you be. If you don't like her in the same way as she does, that's fine. It oviously isn't for her but she cares too much for you.

🌬️ One of her guildmates wants to throw you out when you come back to the guild after having been gone for a few days, some don't even want to let you talk to her. Logical people like Mirajane realize that you have to tell Wendy something important though and convinces the Dragon Slayer to go somewhere private with you. The poor girl can't even muster the strength to look at you or otherwise she might end up crying, her head is constantly lowered and her body language is stiff. When you confess that you like her though but just needed to find that out for yourself, she stares at you with shocked and wide eyes. She is overwhelmed in that moment, doesn't know what to say. Let's be honest though, a good portion of her mates were stalking you two so they break out in cheers for her.

Sherry Blendy

😍 Sherry is the worst from all the girls here simply because she believes that both of you are perfect for each other and for that no one else is really good enough for you and vice versa. She's basically already acting like you two are in a relationship with the amount of affection she throws in your direction. She smothers you in hugs and kisses, takes everything you accidentally forget to take with you and is also very easily jealous. She pays attention to only her darling and wants him to do the same too so she's really derisive to anyone else she perceives as a possible rival. Considering that she views everyone as a potential love rival, she quite often mocks people a bit, especially if they aren't part of her own guild. If you point that out to her, she instantly guilt-trips you as she acts excessively innocent with you.

😍 Some of her teammates honestly suspect that her darling suddenly disappears because he's sick of her behavior but Sherry obviously doesn't believe them. She's sure that something terrible must have happened to you and for that worries her sick. She goes to your house and probably even threatens to use her magic to break the door open if you don't answer or open the door. She searches everywhere for you, asks your neighbors and everyone who knows you. Sherry becomes a bit dangerous very soon since she has mood swings where she tends to lash out because she doesn't know where you are. Sherria is the only one who can control her a bit. Sherry also turns a bit paranoid, starts to suspect people in your surroundings to know something that they don't tell her. She's a bit unhinged now.

😍She just throws herself at you when you finally come back, is sobbing by now because she was so terribly worried and missed you so dearly. She's really possessive, demands that you spend your time with her now because you were too long away from her. You don't really get a chance to confess to her at first since she's quite overwhelming at first, calms down a bit during the following hours though. Enough for you to admit that you needed some time alone to discover your feelings for her. Absolutely ecstatic since it's the first time you admitted to her that you liked her, Sherry gives you a deep kiss afterwards. Things become even more extreme with her as she enhances her overall affection and she gets a bit more arrogant too now that she's your girlfriend. The best you could ask for. 

Sherria Blendy

🥰 She is more toned down than her cousin is but Sherry definitely tries to push Sherria to overcome her bashfulness when it comes to her crush. It's easy to see for people that Sherria loves her s/o a lot but lacks the courage to approach him and properly interact with him. She knows she's more of a clutz and similar to Wendy she fears that she'll make herself look bad in front of you. Sherria is more of a stalker at first who quietly fawns over you but Sherry is having none of that. She's really too supportive and ends up arranging it so that darling and Sherria end up spending more time with each other somehow. She also ends up convincing Sherria that you two would be a very sweet couple to help her younger cousin getting over her slight insecurities which makes Sherria more clingy in return.

🥰 Sherria keeps her upbeat and cheerful personality up or tries to do so at least when you treat her coldly all of a sudden and completely avoid her. She is sad beyond imagination but doesn't want her fellow guildmates and her cousin to worry so she pretends like everything is fine. She can't hold her tears back as good when she's alone and her mind has nothing else to focus on. Sherry is furious with you and at the same time tries to keep her little cousin optimistic. Surely something important just popped up in your life and you had to leave abruptly. There might be times where Sherria is able to delude herself like Sherry but there are also moments where she's afraid that you found out about her feelings and didn't want to be with her anymore. She finds herself often standing in front of your house.

🥰 She doesn't want to be as pushy as her older cousin although sometimes she does consider it. Otherwise Sherria is just suffering silently and stalking you from the distance, silently jealous when seeing her s/o with someone else who seems to be quite close to him. She is often torn apart between staying delusionally optimistic or painfully realistic. She's overjoyed though when you finally return to her and confess what has been going through your mind the past few days. Her facade just cracks and she ends up spilling a few tears, admitting herself that she was terrified that you'd leave her because you didn't love her. She regains her genuine optimism and her energy back and news spread fast about her darling now being officially her boyfriend.

"Jet" Re-Watch

I'll be honest, this episode is one of those that I've seen A LOT. So, it's not like there were any surprise takeaways. Jet is one of my favorite characters & "Jet" is one of my favorite episodes to re-watch. So, let's talk about Jet - the character - & why I love him. And let's also talk about why I have a love-hate relationship with his titular episode.

This is the very first episode of my re-watch where I'm going to.....ugh. criticize the narrative framing...

Look, I love a sympathetic anti-hero & that's at least part of why I love Jet - anyone who knows me knows I am drawn to morally gray characters, flawed people with good intentions, traumatized villains who see themselves as the hero - & that's a huge part of why I love Jet. But I think it's doing a disservice to critical engagement with the material to NOT acknowledge the way Jet is framed as the "scary evil Earth Kingdom rebel fighting back the "wrong" way." This episode felt very much like propaganda not to trust people who are TOO rebellious or TOO angry at their oppressors.

Remember kids, violent rebellion is never the answer even when you're being violently oppressed. Anyone who says otherwise probably wants to murder babies!

Sokka getting to be the grumpy mom of the group is always fun & I gotta feel bad for the guy. It can't be easy keeping these kids in check when they're always so eager to be reckless & don't even take him seriously or respect him! And poor Sokka was right in the end...And was way less of an asshole about it than I would've been after all the crap he took!

Jet's entrance is just so badass. I absolutely loved the Freedom Fighters coming in & immediately kicking ass & winning over both Katara & Aang. And also I'm sorry but I must say it. The Avatar fandom is so sick & twisted & wrong for everyone fighting over if Katara should be with her little brother-like friend or Zuko when Jet is RIGHT there. From the bottom of my heart, I'll never forgive the Avatar fandom for having such bad taste just LOOK AT THEM

What is this....Sad......................alright, okay, okay, I'm done.

ANYWAY!!! Katara's instant chemistry with Jet is so real & I love how she got insta-heart-eyes. I love you Simptara. Girl, can't you even tell when your episode of the week love interest is introduced anime style as a person you obviously can't trust? So fucking funny to me. Like, Katara, haven't you ever seen a single episode of television? Jet is handsome & smooth & charming & he has wheat in his mouth. Of course he's gonna break your heart baby girl, it's right there in the narrative framing.

Also, Jet is a manipulative little shit & I love him. I think a big reason Jet gets a lot of hate ASIDE from the NaRrAtIvE fRaMiNg issues is that he IS in fact very calculated & manipulative. I think it's worth noting though, that the Freedom Fighters look to him as a "good leader." Jet is clearly the kind of person that is good with people, & good at leading others as well as being mature for his age. So, he's taken on the mantle of leadership with these kids. Yes, he is manipulative & he mugs sad old Fire Nation colonizers, but like, he was given the mantle of leadership at EIGHT YEARS OLD after watching his parents die y'all. Cut him some slack for not having the soundest moral compass, jeez.

Like, what can I really say here? No, you're right guys, an eight-year-old who witnessed his village being destroyed & his parents dying & then was left to protect other orphaned kids should TOTALLY understand that #NotAllFireNationPeople are bad. Obviously, that's a reasonable expectation.

Anyway, Jet's plan to flood the village is very....interesting. I've seen it discussed endlessly whether there are ex-Fire Nation generals in that village, whether the old man Jet mugged was an ex-Fire Nation general, whether there were Earth Kingdom citizens living there or not, & well...it's all just VERY vague. The show doesn't tell us because I guess the point is that "murder is bad." Which...sure, I guess. Still would've been nice to understand more details?

A big anti-Jetara argument that I get pretty much every time I say I ship them is that he broke her heart & made her cry & also wanted to commit mass murder. To that I say.....where's your sense of drama? Jet touching Katara's face as she turns away crying, horrified by what she might've helped him accomplish is just good drama. I don't know what to tell you. Have fun shipping boring things where the characters have no complexity & only ever agree with each other I guess.....

Sokka does deserve some major props in this episode, I'll say that. He put up with pretty much constant shit from Katara & Aang both, he was right in the end about Jet's plans NOT being something Katara & Aang would like, AND he managed to warn the village about the flood. So yeah, props to Sokka.

Anyway, this "re-watch takeaway" post....ended up being.... just...me defending Jet & saying Jetara rights. Whoops. Oh well, I feel like that's a fitting takeaway for this episode :)

Earlier that day...

Unbelievable.

Of course, he makes a big entrance. Why wouldn't he? He's Leo after all.

I roll my eyes as he offers the woman his hand along with his best Prince-fucking-Charming smile.

Not that I blame him. Between listening to all of Ashley's stories and then meeting the beauty in person... The attraction is real.

But that's enough of that.

I smirk as I see Master Splinter out of the corner of my eye, coming out of the dojo - fully robed, thank GOD -just as Honor Boy starts flirting and teasing poor Liv.

"Oh? And who is your favorite?" I hear him say to her, as he moves a stray piece of hair from her face.

"Leonardo!" Scolds Sensei.

Leo looks up and knows he's in trouble.

"Stop teasing that poor woman. Where are your manners?! I taught you better."

"Sorry, Sensei," says Leo, who now looks like he wants to crawl in a hole.

"I'm not the one who needs an apology."

Leo looks back down at her with that... Look on his face, and I can feel my stomach turn. Donnie doesn't stand a chance.

"Please forgive my inappropriate behavior. I should have never treated a lady like that." He holds his hand out and waits for the woman to reciprocate a response. Which she does, gently putting her tiny hand in his.

His breath hitches for a fraction of a second when their skin touches, his smile genuine. "I hope you can forgive me and that we can start again," he says to her softly. His whole demeanor changing.

"Of course," she says, blushing up at him. "I'm sorry for not allowing you to introduce yourself in the first place. I didn't mean to be a big creep about it."

I can't help but chuckle at her well-placed sass, clearly taking a dig at herself. I'm not the only one either, resulting in Sensei clearing his voice.

Aaannnd there he goes... Right back to schmoozing her.

"Liv, I'd like you to meet Master Splinter," he says, looking like Prince Charming, again.

She seems quite taken by him, which is interesting. She's either fangirling over the whole comic book character thing- which is hot as fuck, by the way- or, Leo is her favorite from the many series that have been done about us. Friggen Eastman. Leo was always his favorite too.

Watching them interact, is absolutely heart-wrenching- especially the way she's looking at Leo. I feel for poor Donnie having to watch this woman - who he's been gushing about for weeks - being swept off her feet by the knight-in-shining-armor himself.

Fucking guy.

And of course, Master Splinter sided with Leo and Mike about Liv staying in Leo's guestroom. Sure, he's a light sleeper, but I'm sure Don would've been able to set up some kind of an alarm system to warn him if she was trying to sneak out.

But, I digress. It is what it is.

I watch as Liv bows to Sensei.

Yeah...Work it girl.

"Master Splinter, I'm so overwhelmed with happiness, and I'm so happy to be here. I am truly honored to be trusted by all of you."

Oh, no. The poor thing is about to get some of the worst news of her lifetime. I'll take the asshole lead on this, so Sensei doesn't get dubbed the 'bad guy'.

"Nobody said anything about trust, sweetheart," I say, straight-faced and arms crossed, so she knows I'm serious.

She looks up at me, confusion in her eyes.

"This is true," says Master Splinter, agreeing with me.

"Leonardo will fill you in on your stay here until we feel you can be trusted."

Someone may as well have told her she only had 24 hours left to live. Her face goes pale and you can see her whole world crashing down around her.

Amazingly, she recovers quickly, saying she understands and even smiles at Sensei. Damn, girl.

Sensei turns to me looking for assistance. I step toward him and give him my arm to help him back to his room.

Once we get a few steps down the hallway that leads to his and Leo's rooms, he says, "She took that extremely well... I'd like to stand here and listen to what she has to say to her cousin, however."

I chuckle, "You catch those death lasers she shot across the room, too?"

He smirks, "She's only human, you know. But yes. I want to know how she responds."

We stand in the safety of the shadows near the entrance of the hallway, listening as a cool, calm, and collected Liv expresses nothing but love and concern for her very apologetic and anxious cousin.

"Hmm," hums Sensei. "I'm not sure even I've had that kind of patience for you boys."

Go, girl, go. You'll earn Dad's trust real fast if this is how you are.

"I think I've heard enough. Please help me back to my room, Raphael."

I walk him to his door and pause, "Sensei..."

"What's troubling you, my son?" Says the old rat as he looks me in the eye.

"I don't want you to feel like I don't trust your judgment..."

"But..." He encourages me.

"Well, do you really think it's the best idea to put her in Leo's guestroom?"

"Raphael. Leo deserves a chance at happiness, too."

"But what about Donnie?"

"Donnie has had a very unfair advantage. He knows her more intimately than she probably even knows herself. He's very proficient in his research," says Master Splinter.

"He also knows how to hold his own with a woman... Clearly," he says, eyes going wide.

Interesting.

"I see everything, my son. Don't mistake me as my old age. I also know all of you, very well. If you hold interest in Liv, that's one thing, but other than that, let Donnie and Leo work things out."

I nod, in understanding.

"And more importantly, Raphael,"

"Yes, Sensei?"

"The choice will be Evelyn's."

"Evelyn?" I ask, furrowing my brow.

"Yes. Liv."

And with that he shuffles into his bedroom, gently closing the door behind him.

Frig. Even her name is beautiful.

Then I hear it. Mikey.

"Really?! 'Cause, it looks to me like Leo's got you in his arms with his lips on your ear!" He yells, like the little shit he is.

Oh hell no.

I come stomping down the hall into the common room, as Leo looks up at me with big eyes, then back down to Liv. He's holding her like he’s her lover.

I stand there giving him a disapproving and questioning look.

He lets her go, very reluctantly, looking pained as he separates from her.

What the fuck is goin' on with him. This isn't Leo.

"She tripped," Leo explains, "I just stopped her from falling. I was bringing her to see where she'll be staying."

"Uh-huh," I say, a little unsure of what's going on between them, or how I should proceed -Especially after what Sensei just said. "Maybe instead of stuffing her in your room, you should let her choose which guestroom she wants to stay in."

Leo sighs and shifts uncomfortably.

"Raph, we've been over this. It was agreed that she would stay in my guestroom because I'm a light sleeper, and it's less likely she'd be able to sneak out."

Liv's face drops, a look of pain flashes across her attractive features.

"Your guest room?" She asks.

Oops.

Leo closes his eyes and sighs, swallowing the guilt that's ready to consume him. "Yes. You have to go through my room to get to it. There are no other exits except the one that goes through my room."

Liv stands there. Speechless, motionless.

"If you'd prefer..." Leo starts, trying to console her as he reaches for her.

"I'd prefer to go home,” she says, cutting him off and jerking away from his touch, causing Leo to blanch. “Unfortunately for me, I can't," she glares.

"Because I'm being held hostage."

Yep. I'm out.

I turn and head to the kitchen with Mikey, Don, and Ashley as quickly as I can while Liv damn near has a nervous breakdown.

I practically run into the kitchen, probably looking guilty as hell. Everyone is sitting at the breakfast table.

"Oh hey, Raph!" Says Mike, shoving a piece of pizza into his mouth.

"Uh, Raph, what's wrong?" Asks Donnie, looking at me with concern.

Ashley and Mikey stop eating and look at me.

"Sooo... I may have mentioned... You know, just now... In the common room... That Liv was… Uh...

goingtobestayinginLeo'sguestroom." I let out nervously.

"Oooh-kaaay..." Says Ashley, standing, and looking like she was getting ready to go rescue her cousin.

"How did you say it, Raph..." Donnie says, more like a warning than a question.

"Uh..."

"Raph?" Mikey asks innocently, an encouraging look on his face.

I shuffle a bit before answering. "It may have been something along the lines of him stuffing her in his guestroom, and her not having a choice..." I confess with a guilty grimace.

"Oh, no..." Ashley says with a horrified expression on her face, running to the door, and almost into Master Splinter.

"Easy child," he says, reaching up to touch her shoulder. "Your cousin is fine," he tells her.

We all look back and forth at one another, confused and surprised.

"She even apologized to Leonardo for her behavior. I believe she said... I'm frustrated, but I understand. And I'm also frustrated that I understand."

Ashley let's out a visible sigh of relief. "Yea, that sounds like something she'd say."

"So where are they now?" Asks Donnie, anxiously.

"In Leonardo's guestroom, I imagine," says Master Splinter with a satisfied smile on his face.

Donnie stands up, a look of panic spreading over his face.

"Sit down, Donatello," commands Sensei. "Finish your dinner. You will have time to spend with our guest later."

Donnie sits back down, shoulders slumped in defeat.

"Oh, shoot!" Ashley yells. "I need to get to work! I'm gonna be late!" She exclaims, as she kisses Mikey and runs out the kitchen door. She pokes her head back in for a moment and says, "Thank you Master Splinter," a grateful smile on her face.

He smiles and nods at her, then turns to the rest of us, "A piece of pizza, please."

After dinner, we meet up in the common room, and by chance, Liv and Leo end up meeting us there.

She looks to be in 'la-la' land as Donnie is trying to talk to her and find out if she needs anything.

No response.

"Geez Leo, did you break her?" Donnie says, exasperated, waving a hand in front of her face. "Liv?"

"Hmm?" She seems to realize she's being talked to, snapping out of her daze and looking back and forth between my two brothers.

I don't miss the sneaky wink Leo gives her either.

"Donnie, I'm so sorry. It's been a long day, and I've had a lot to take in. My brain was... Visiting my happy place," she says with a seductive smirk, Leo's eyes going wide as he clears his throat.

"Right..." Says Donnie, his eyes darting between Liv and Leo, looking panicked and agitated. "Well, as I was saying, we are going topside to go on patrol shortly, and we are stopping to get your belongings at Ashley's. Do you need or want anything else?" Donnie asks, finally.

"No, but can you please make sure all my shower stuff gets put into my luggage bag before you bring it back, though? It should all be in the purple toiletry bag on the back of the toilet. Oh, and my toothbrush too, please?" She asks him, with the world's most beautiful smile I've ever seen.

I smile. Girl's over here killin' it. Her smile is to die for.

Donnie smiles back, relaxing a bit, "Of course, Sunshine," he coos, "What color is your toothbrush?"

It's the black, electric Sonicare. It's plugged in on the back of the sink. Thanks, Donnie," she says, giving him an even bigger smile.

I chuckle internally. Donnie's gonna need a cold shower before we leave.

"Of course. Anything," he gushes.

Looking back at Leo, he goes deadly serious, a warning in his eyes, "Let us know when you're ready to head out."

Leo nods, and my two younger brothers head toward the Lab to prepare for patrol. I decide to hang back to see what's going on.

Leo looks down at Liv, affection spilling across his face. He lowers his voice to almost a whisper, his lips dangerously close to her face.

"Will you be alright?" He asks.

"I think so." She says looking all dreamy-eyed, and leaning in toward him. "Am I allowed to watch... a movie... or... something?" She asks as Leo closes in on her mouth with his own.

"Of course!" I say loudly, walking toward them, causing them to jump. "Let me show you how everything works, little lady," I say, smiling down at her with the sexiest smile I can plaster across my face.

Jesus, what am I doing.

I can't stop myself and step between Liv and Leo. I bend in toward the blonde and gently take her small hand in mine, hooking her arm through mine…

"Come with me, Sweetheart," I flirt, causing her eyes to go wide while she turns the color of my bandana.

well, well, well, you could be my fandom soul mate lol , though we have too many differences in shipping, but I can see most of your point. forgive my poor language, i have dyslexia  so I i write crappy,

first let me just say that yeah, I get your take on x-men, i love x-men and read most of the comics. You are right Angel was gorgeous. he was rich, fine and a ladies man. he and Gambit were the hottest and sexiest guys in x-men and in the fandom there wers debate of who were the hottest couple Angel/Psycloke or Rogue/Gambit. In the series when Warren moved on to Paige Guthrie which was controversial, her first attraction to Angel was that he was a very fine good looking man. Angel was hot. I use to have a crush on Cable (Nathan Summers) growing up. he was my fav.

I think X-Men 3 went for Ben Foster   because he was not in the leading role  but a supporting role, if Angel  had been a main character they may have cast a Brad Pitt look alike. Although I find Ben kind of cute. i will not have cast him as Angel. infact  one of the reason i am happy we never got a gambit movie was because i hated the idea of  Channing Tatum as Gambit.   Gambit was a sexy handsome charming and alluring fine cajun, Channing aint that. so no i wont cast him either. this is how i feel about ceelia gooding.

 She is quite avergae outside the  star trek hair and make up, I even think with the right hair styling and a good amount of weight loss on the face, she could be as cute as Jess Bush but she is no Uhura. I even found zoe saldana too skinny as uhura but at least, she was feminine enough and had a gorgeous face with sex appeal and also in the same age group as Pine and Quinto. 

Ceelia is way too young for the role, she is 22 while most of the actors in snw are in the 30s. This is just another proof they downplayed uhura in snw so she will not be a threat to Chapel. they should not have screwed with an iconic black character that way. pair chapel with spock, keep uhura as she is in tos with a more believable younger actress of Nichols.

star trek or x-men are fiction  and fiction sells fantasy. one of the reason K/S was huge is because girls were turned on by Nimoy and Shatner been so into eachother even as friends or that fight they had in Amok Time. It helped both men were handosme in their own ways. girls always find two hot guys been devoted to eachother as a deeper thing than just friends. I get that as a S/U shipper.

We also cannot pretend nichelle nichols been a good looking woman with a very sexy body was not part of the reason uhura became famous in the 1960s. it was not only because there was a black female character who was not a maid or a slave girl on tv, but also she was very beautiful and had male gaze. that was rare for black women in mainstream america or in other words white america during the 1960s.

SNW removed  the male gaze from Uhura because they did not want anyone to code her as a love interest who will be another potential het pairing choice from tpring or chapel. they were that insecure they had to ugly up uhura and down play her age. to me that is just a no no.

As a person who is many fandoms, trek, star wars, buffy, x-men.  I welcome all shipping pairing to be explored as long as the characters are respected and uhura has been direspected in SNW.

As a S/U shipper, I have accepted that K/S is the OTP of trek and no spock or kirk  het pairing will come close to that.  K/S is an unstoppable pairing  in fandom, however the trek writers will never go there and make it canon. they will always pair kirk and spock with women but clearly snw has done everything they can to make sure, uhura is not coded to be one of those women.

Uhura is not meant to be desired by the male audience in SNW unlike her Kelvin counterpart, which means she will never be desired by Spock or even Kirk or any other prominent guys because let face it, it is hollywood. they sell fantasy and ugly has never sold.

As I said I know I sound shallow, but some things to me are more than just shipping. Uhura was such an icon for a black character been the complete pacakge like Lara Croft or Princess Leia and now this is what we are left with this.

it is so lame and as a black woman, so racist too because it is when they wanted us not to see uhura as pretty or to be desired by men that they chose a dark skin black girl.

As a black woman, Jodi Turner Smith would have been my Uhura, if they wanted to cast a black actress with a darker shade than Nicelle Nicohls or Saldana.

However they won't cast her as she will be too much of a threat.

Strange New Worlds S2

I don’t get how Strange New Worlds can still be sold as a TOS prequel at this point. Just admit it’s an AU and so be it. I swear.

People who spent the most part of the recent 10s shitting on the Kelvin Trilogy for changing the characters, insulting J.J. because he didn’t stick to TOS characterizations and relationships (despite the movies being officially marketed as an AU from the start)… have nothing to say on Strange New Worlds retcons and blatant ways of ignoring TOS-canon?
