I don’t know how to explain any more clearly that it doesn’t MATTER if it seems legitimate to you. You have got to fact check every single headline and post and claim on the left just like you need to do on the right.

The left is NOT immune to misinformation and rushed reporting. And the more emotionally polarizing or shocking the talking points, sound bytes, and headlines are, the worse it is and more frequently it happens.

Learn to verify through multiple independent sources. If you can’t do that, you can’t trust it.

If you have to wait extra hours for the real information to come through vetted channels—NOT just one individual somewhere everyone links to, and not just one single media source either, EVEN if it’s a major news network—thats just how it has to be. What news outside of genuine local disasters near you TRULY needs your outrage and post-sharing in the next hour specifically?

Misinformation works best by not seeming like misinformation and by fitting in with the rest of what you already expect to see. It doesn’t help anyone to not be able to recognize and avoid the stuff.

just scrolling through tumblr and seeing the vast and literally wide array of feedees on here now is so cool. when i first started using tumblr i feel like there was a tiny fraction of the amt of creators lol. i loveee seeing so many people give in and indulge ❤️‍🔥 fat world fat world

UPDATE: Zerith-var's Sky Spirits Reflection Pool requirements

Re: Screenshots: New furnishings in U44!

As you can see below, on PTS we only needed to complete "Zerith-var's Companion" to buy the pool:

It changed. On Live, it requires "The Twilight Path", which means all of the companion's achievements + max level and rapport:

I love having Zerith-var around anyway. But I was looking forward to getting the pool already and was disappointed by this.

P.S. If you hate Tales of Tribute as I do:

Getting the ToT part of the achievement was by far the worst. In total, felt like a couple of hours at least?

I never finished the ToT quest before (I used Shut Yer Trap on them after trying once and hating it) so I had to do the whole thing:

The tutorial match

WIN against an NPC to unlock dailies, which means you will probably have to play a few times.

WIN against another NPC during daily quest.

You cannot just jump into the daily player match via the Group Finder menu and lose; it won't count for the achievement.

I wish this was not required.

This is a game mode I detest – I'm not at all interested in playing a card game (which I dislike most of IRL, too) inside a video game. It's annoying to be "forced" into it with no other option to unlock. I'll be happy to never touch it again.

But even with that, it still only took a few days to unlock most of ZV. So that's ok.

And he's my favorite :3

people rag a lot on the visual style of strive lobbies and avatars, and I'm not the biggest fan of it either, but I do appreciate that they designed a create a character system where you're very unlikely to run into someone whose avatar is grotesque and/or obviously racist or transphobic.

#you get like pools closed guys sometimes but that's kind of the extent of it #the sf6 create a characters being made of play dough is kinda funny but every time I've watched someone else play online #they very quickly start running into pepes and all kinds of weird shit #or like fromsoft games. yeesh.

I've been waiting for Tranquility Pond, Botanical (Sunken Trove Crates) for 2000 years! :(

But now we're getting that awesome new pool with U44! So I messed around with my greenhouse on the PTS:

Trying different floors & stuff. The pool is awesome! I love the warm tones, moss and lichen of Elsweyr structures.

& Here's the pool alone before I changed everything:

Always wish I had more slots for little details. And still want the tranquility pond for the plants :( but this'll do!
