First meeting

I had this idea of a Aonung x human oc in the back of my headfor a while but I didn’t have a clue how to begin writing it. I made some montage with pinterest picture and then I made something with those two images.

And something just clicked so here is how my oc met Aonung.

Aonung needed to clear his head. The villagewas celebrationg the new young warriors. He would lie if he said he didn’t feel jealous of them. He had failed once again. He didn’t understand why his father found him unworthy of becoming a warrior. Right now his parents were tending to his little sibbling. The boy was only a few months old and he was receiving more praise from his parents that Aonung ever heard of. His little brother had fetch them a piece of food and presented it to them. His eyes shine, eagerly waiting for their praise and approval and he got it immediatly.

His parents looked proud of him, his father pat his hair affectionnely and his mother took him in her embrac3. Did they ever treated Aonung like that? Were they ever proud of him for simply existing or was it that their first child would forever be a disapointment in their eyes?

He shook his head and dived under the water, away from the crownd and toward a place he liked to go to when he needed to be alone. A cave, not too far from the village but hidden enough so that he was the only one aware of it’s existence. It was a peacefull place. There was a small waterfall in it that made a sweet sound that helped him relax.

He made his way through out of the water and followed his usual path. He was reaching the netry of the cave when he heard a voice humming. It was soft and playful... and sad strangely.

He entered the cave. A girl was bathing under the swall waterfall. The glowing algea in the cave lake aloud him to see her clearly. He knew what a human was, he had heard stories about them, he met some of them and onewas even living among them. But this one was different. It was a female human, he had never saw a female human before. She was as small as a child but she obviously was not. She might have been about his age even a bit older but he wasn’t sure.

By default he was warry of human, they were demons in his eyes, even the one he knew. Maybe some of them had good intention but he was sure they would eventually succumb to their nature. They were evil.

That’s why a vrrtep, as innocent as she looked had nothing to do so close to his village.

"Hey!"

He screamed. When he’ll tell this memory, he’ll say he doesn’t remember what he said afterward. Just that he approached, splashing the water around and startling the girl. He reached her and she looked up at him. Her eyes were dark, it was like staring at the night sky without the stars. He remember stoping himself. Her hair lifted up from her soulder. They were like anemone, moving like waves around her face.

The both of them were froze in place. He wanted to chase her away or make her a prisonner but it was like his brain stoped working. He was hypnotised by the way her hair moved. Subconsciously he run his hand in the strand of her hair. Was tawtute’s hair suppose to move like that? Spider’s hair didn’t... why wasn’t she running away?

They snap ed out of their trance when an explosion was heard. It came from his village but... their were attacked. It was the human, those vrrtep found them.

The girl an away before he could stop her, and he ran back to the village to help them...

Okay, so here are my thoughts about them being PONIFY!

Tiala and Kanoa would mostly be an Earth Pony. Since I know they are both strong people. And it gives me that physique kind of vibes as well! So I'm putting them as an Earth Pony!

Agnes is most definitely a Pegasus. Since I could see that Pegasus is like a free-spirited, adventurous, creative and has a strong desire for inspiration and exploration! Very fitting for our chaotic boom girl!

Nigel is also a Pegasus. As I could see him having that same energetic feelings as Agnes! (And also, because they are Besties!)

Aelan will be a Unicorn! Having that healing spell will do the trick! She's also smart too! So I could imagined her trying different kind of spell that will help her skills of healing and protecting her friends and family!

Alana same as Aelan! A Unicorn! (Like mother, like daughter) And even though that most people (or ponies) may see Unicorn has a weak physique, which is true, but that doesn't mean Alana isn't weak. Not because of by magic but she does train with her daughter to have enough strength to fend off the enemies! Hehehe!

Callie is most definitely an Earth Pony. A COWGIRL Earth Pony. Hehehe. Same as her older brother Philip Graves.

Kapo? Also an Earth Pony. A BIG one actually. A big and BUFF one! Lol.

Rosa is a beautiful Unicorn. Using her magic to help out around her bar and might even have that spell to grow roses and other plants!

Koa (Black Ops OC) is obviously an Earth Pony who is also married to an Earth Pony as well who is named Aroha!

A living force of nature himself, 7ft tall & weighing at 1000lbs (453.59 kg), Koa The Pangolin aka "Haleakalā" or "Big H." (for short), his MMMA (Mobian Mixed Martial Arts) name, is a giant ground pangolin mobian with super strength & durability, and has volcanic powers. He comes from a tropical island & is the best friend(basicialy brothers) to Ghost The White Hart whom he calls Uso, which is brother in samoan. He has a bigger than life personality, he's very loving and welcoming to those around him and very protective to those close to him. He love's demolition, sports, fitness, combat, going surfing, swimming, Haka, & playing his ukulele. and is a bit famous on his island for his height, though his kind is naturally bigger than most mobians. In appearance his scales look like obsidian and his thick leathery skin looks like stone,and claws that look like burnished steel, but looks like a living volcano when he activates his powers.

They have dyed hair and wear a crown made by Morpheus.

Nyx, her husband, and their children are protective of αστεριού because they’re the first mortal child (Nyx/Erebus)/sibling (the children). This also applies to any of the demigod children of them, like Morpheus, Aether, Hypnos, Thanatos, etc. because they are suicidal

They often smuggle in alcohol for Mr. D and his kids, because it is literal torture to keep a god from their domain.

The way they were conceived was the Fates took a bit of their mom’s DNA and put it into a child.

Backstory/lore bits: the Fates took a bit of Nyx’s DNA and added it to αστεριού. Once they were born, they were put out on the streets because their parents were disgusted by them. A homeless Japanese woman found αστεριού and took them in, naming them Yume, which means dream in Japanese. αστεριού called the woman Auntie, and she single-handedly raised them. Eventually she got a job and sent αστεριού to school. She had already been teaching them English and Japanese, and when she noticed that they had a proficiency in reading Greek, she bought a Greek dictionary that included the alphabet. Well, one day, Auntie was visited by the Fates, who explained their parentage and powers (they hadn’t gotten the fire ones yet). Shortly after, she died. When αστεριού found out, she was given her will, which gave them everything. It also included a letter to them telling them where to go. So they packed up and umbraported to CHB. There they were claimed and Dionysus took them into his cabin temporarily since there was no Nyx or Erebus cabin that anyone knew of. They met a legacy of the 9th goddess, a minor goddess over Wendigos and Skinwalkers, from the Native American pantheon (they have L O R E), who just immediately adopted them due to their Native American blood. They are called Wīhtikow.

Cabin: Zeus, being his usual dick self, told them they didn’t have a cabin, so Mr. D took them in temporarily. NOW THEY HAVE A CABIN! It’s sits on the edge of the woods, far from the rest, so they didn’t see it at first

i am so sick of never seeing polynesian representation in any form of media. why don't we get the same advocacy for representation as every other culture?

i'm glad that other cultures are finally getting more of the representation they deserve, but representation for polynesians has gone practically nowhere and i'm so sick of it.

why is all of our representation only ever stuff like moana or lilo and stitch? how come you guys sexualize and romanticize hawaiians so much and then dumb down and kill off every other type of polynesian? how come we always have to be fucking connected to the sea? how come we share a month with asian ethnicities when our traditions and cultures are vastly different from each other? how come one of my longtime friends straight up had to ask me what samoa is? why did they have to ask me? how come hawaii's annexation seems to only be taught in hawaii? how come i don't even know the history of my other polynesian cultures?

i never see people talking about this and honestly i can't even be entirely mad because most of it is that people just don't know we even exist.

A fact about my OC Lavender

While Lavender Ionakana has medium brown skin, I'm thinking she may look either South Asian (Indian) or indigenous (Cherokee) but I thought of her as half-Native Hawaiian/Polynesian and half-indigenous (Cherokee) (maybe South Asian (Indian)). So imagine her having an indigenous (Cherokee) (or South Asian (Indian)) mother and a Native Hawaiian/Polynesian father.

Does anyone know if it'd be weird for my polynesian coded minecraft ocs to be pegasus hybrids.

Part of me wonders if it'd be more respectful to make them human or hybrids of polynesian animals. There aren't gonna be any other major polynesian coded characters [aside from most characters (one of which I'm debating making fully anthro/furry) I literally spun a wheel for deciding on race] and other polynesian coded characters are likely just gonna be in the background, mentioned in a couple of lines. [Because the world is literally under construction and for story reasons only two or four characters interact with the npcs (who all live in a different dimension.)]

This is possibly gonna change though cause have been thinking about a possible reason for the crafters/players to interact with npcs more but I might not go with it.

I could also just have a character ask if they're all pegasus hybrids where these characters come from and have them say no.

But another part of me is pretty sure I'm overthinking it cause macaw hybrid Grian is pretty common and Grian is not South American

(Haven't fully decided how they became hybrids, wether born that way or because of magic mishap, but I promise no interspecies shit involved. Just want to clarify because tis the internet smh)

(Pegasus hybrids because they're both more developed versions of ocs I made when I was about 9 yrs old and nearly all of those ocs were toys I had. These two polynesian ocs are based on pegasus toys.)

(I do not want to do "hybrid instincts made this character feral and violent" shit but I do think one of these characters being a horse would kinda add onto his arc? I mean he already has ptsd and is just very anxious and him having horse bullshit going on in his head on top of that would be interesting to write I think. I might not commit to that but it is a possibility. I think it'd be ironic in a meta way regardless of if I do that or not)
