Hey, @modmad, I made this RGB figure from polymer clay because I absolutely LOVE TPoH and needed this in my life to sit on my desk. Seriously, your comic is one of the best things I’ve ever read - I adore it so much - the intricacy and cleverness of the characters and plot, the foreshadowing / metaphors I never could have come up with, and the awesome art!!
I made a mini comic as part of my end of school major artwork, along with figures like this, and I referenced TPoH in both my process diary (I annotated the sequence where RGB and Hero escape Click by using the cane to slingshot away) and in the official description of the work.
It ended up getting into a gallery on display, so now your name is listed there as a source of inspiration!!
Thank you for reading this, and I need you to know how much I love what you do. I can’t wait to see where TPoH goes in the future, and I hope you like my rendition of RGB!! :D
#submission#the property of hate#rgb#oh my GOSH#LOOK AT HE#just a lil man....#also very impressed you got the pattern on the back of his jacket right#I don't think I established that well but that's it perfectly!

Today I'm going to try to start putting more content on this blog. Nothing much today, but I hope to eventually do some actual step by step posts. I wanted to talk about the pronoun pins that are new to the shop!
these.
I wanted to show you how they got here! Because initially they looked like this:
I did put these up in the shop and they did okay, but I really wanted a non plastic version that matched better with the beads. Now, 6/0 seed beads are tiny, about 4mm diameter. There's no such letter bead in existence. Trust me, I looked. There are, infuriatingly, a lot of 4mm *thick* beads with 7mm diameter. There are also 5mm cubes, which I do have on hand, but never actually used.
I used to do polymer clay as a kid, so I got back into it to make these pronoun beads. They're made as canes, just like the fruit slices you see in slime, but with words instead of pictures. You make the design at a larger size, and then gradually stretch out the sides and make it smaller. When you cut into it, the design has shrunk, but is mostly the same, in the cross section. You can see the big original size of the "E" cane below and the small ends of some others.
Here you can see the first batch I ever made! I gradually refined the process and invested in some letter cutters, which is why the "xe" pins look so much more polished. They're my latest work.
Anyway, I'm really happy with them, and want to keep getting better!

Get to know me (tag game)
Tagged by @irishvampireboy a bit ago but WE'RE HERE WE'RE DOING IT NOW
Favorite Color -> Blue
Last Song -> We can't be friends (wait for your love) - Ariana Grande
Currently Reading -> I have several books going at once. Right now it's -10 things that never happened by Alexis Hall -99 Coffins by David Wellington -Manhunt by Gretchen Felker-Martin
Currently Watching -> I just finished a Midnight Mass rewatch, which ended my Mike Flanagan TV show rewatch. I've been debating starting Hill House again, but I also do have several series that have been on the backburner. We're also making our way through Steven Universe again.
Currently Craving -> My appetite has been super fucked because of a medication so tbh nothing? 😅
Coffee or Tea -> Iced coffee
A hobby you would like to try -> This is another where I'm just like "Nothing I just want to write" but if I had to pick I think it would be working with polymer clay. I love watching the cane cuttings, and the earring designs that come out of them. I would just never wear them lol.
An AU you're working on/thought of -> I have a few AUs I would like to do. The one I'm actively working on the most right now is Steddissy, I'm holding it kind of close to my chest trying to keep myself excited. I don't want to talk about it too much and lose steam. I have two other AUs I'm loosely working on. One is Steddissy, married Steddie meet Chrissy after a nasty divorce from Jason and they all want to take care of each other. It's super sweet, just slow moving. The other one is a college AU where Steve starts sleeping with the dean of his college (played here by Brenner). It's toxic and obviously not going well, but obviously no one knows (Steve can't just go blabbing that around town y'know?) I have the like. Prologue or whatever finished I just don't know how to get into it and set it up so. IDK, I love this one, there are 3 of 4 scenes I'm dying to write, but again, I just don't know if I'll be able to get it off the ground and keep it going.
Thank you again for the tag! If you've already done this feel free to ignore or to do it again if you like these things!
No pressure tags for @stervrucht @puppy-steve @runninriot @augustjustice @spectrum-spectre

hello!! i am troxler (trox if you're nasty) and you might know me from my xwitter @ broadcastrelay or my old experimental art blog @hand-in-hand-again .
this blog is sfw. i have a more reblog-heavy nsfw sideblog, @heartshapedsignal , where i can place aesthetics, rb art that i like, Cronenbergpost & generally toss up more intense horror things & keep this one somewhat more tidy + personal-art-oriented. follow my alt if you please; although it's unlikely i'll ever post anything too explicit, there is nsfw/🔞 potential, so again, heartshapedsignal is 🔞 just to be safe!!
i have a throne account here if you'd like to support my work by helping with supplies & thereby earn my eternal gratitude:
commissions are currently closed & i will update here & on xwitter if that changes!!
i do have discord if you'd like to chat, you can DM me for my username. i'm vision impaired & it's a little easier for me than tumblr DMs (scalable font. properly mapped keyboard that allows me to hit the right keys occasionally. you know 👁️)
i am sometimes slow to respond to messages, but i don't expect you to be available all the time either--i answer things when i have a moment, & i assume others do too ✌️ i have the temperament of a displaced 11th century anchorite, am simply not adapted to the tone & pace of centralized social media.
i also unfortunately cannot voice call or stream/screen share because i am a millennial (just kidding, it's because my phone is almost 9 years old & it overheats when i check my e-mail)
learn a bit more about me under the cut ✂️
i was dropped into this simulation in the early 80s, i'm a disabled artist (vision impaired - [ask me about my atrophied optic nerves] - & have some other physical Issues so i use a cane) & my wife and i host two black cats, roughly 35% of a mannequin, and a whole lot of dolls.
all my art is trad/physical media (haven't figured out a way to make digital art accessible yet. maybe someday!!) i like to sculpt in epoxy, plastilene, polymer & stone clay, i like to mold & cast in resin, make & customize various types of dolls, & build puppets; i do custom framed work, mixed media & textile stuff like sewing & embroidery; i paint in oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache & water soluble graphite & i love ink, markers, crayons & whatever cheap & weird stuff i can get my hands on.
i have a particular affection for props, prop replicas & hypothetical in-universe items, & i like things that are handsome, durable & believable. i'm versatile & innovative, & i'm at my happiest when i'm exploring technical processes. i have quite a bit of knowledge about techniques & materials. i love a challenge!! currently all my sewing is done by hand, i have trouble controlling pedal-operated machines.
my favorite thing is horror coated in a fine layer of nostalgia & sprinkled with history. that seems highly specific, but you'd be surprised how many things fit the criteria. i tend to fixate on characters & concepts & do a lot of art about it - a habit i developed while i was re-teaching myself to draw after the changes to my eyesight. my output is largely therapeutic. sometimes people like it. maybe you will too!!
a good amount of my work is fanart & will be tagged as such/otherwise linked to the appropriate project, original work will be specified & have its own tag.
at the moment i make a lot of work related to the independent psychological horror unfiction project Welcome Home, created by ' partycoffin ' here on tumblr.
that's all for now!! 👁️🗨️📺

I guess I live under a rock! Could you post pictures of these food ornaments that you speak of? I am curious to know what types of food people hang up;)
Kurt S. Adler is probably the best known brand (and it produced some of the American Girl accessories in the early Pleasant Company days).
Just look at these adorable condiments!
Or a sandwich?
Home decor stores and websites like Food52 often have more food themed ornaments.
Caviar, anyone?
A lot of items are Christmas/winter themed like cups of cocoa, trays of cookies, or candy canes. But you can find popcorn buckets, cans of soda, sushi, cupcakes, and even savory dishes.
I recommend buying ornaments that are resin, plastic, wood, metal, polymer clay, or a combination of those, since glass is breakable and hard to repair.
Garage sales can also be a good place to find ornaments when people clear out their collections, and prices can be lower during the off season.

“Bob Ross” this “Bob Ross” that. Where is my appreciation for middle to old age ladies on YouTube who make videos of their crafts. Watching an hour long video of some lady making polymer clay canes and it’s all “y’know sometimes you have ideas and they just don’t work out the way you think ☺️” and I love it.

Challenges and Art Math
I’m having some bad effects with the clay during curing, and I’m learning that they’re hard to eliminate in translucent clays of most brands. The clay gets what is called “plaques”, which are little flat disc shaped occlusions in the clay that make it look cracked or flawed. Once they’re there, they’re there for good, and they’re hard to prevent. When you can get the translucent clay to work, you…
