i'm just curious bc i'm watching How to Train Your Dragon and i always forget how happy and calm it makes me feel. i mean, i did name my cat after Toothless the dragon. but i also love Lion King, that's my Disney comfort movie. and my Ghibli comfort movie is Spirited Away. watching any of these when i'm in a foul mood or my anxiety is high always helps 🥰 but i watch them just for fun too, not only when i'm in a mood. what about you?

Pokemon Movie 3 - Entei: The Spell of Unown (2000)

Idk if this is strange, but I guess, it would have to be Pokemon Movie 3 - Spell of the Unown: Entei. I rewatched it all the time as a kid and if I need some comfort, I may watch my dvd of it. Specifically, my comfort character from this movie which gives the movie an overall comforting vibe to me because of said character is Molly Hale.

As a child and even still as an adult, she has always been a relatable character to me despite being a fictional 5 year old child. I just really love her and her story. The aesthetic of her crystal dreams have always definitley been a theme in my own drawings/aesthetic and even have always appeared in my work when in art therapy. That's as much I'll say without getting more personal.

On another note, this movie is what made me fall in love with the unown.

So yeah. Again, idk if this is a strange comfort media; and I do have other comfort characters, not so much the overall media where the characters are from rather specific characters from a specific media. For example, Game of Thrones is not a comfort media for me, but Daenerys Stormborn is a comfort character for me. So, I think the 3rd Pokemon movie is the only real movie I can say is an overall comfort media rather than just a solo character being the comfort. Idk if this make sense. Lol

But yeah. Molly Hale. I love her character so much! I would definitley say, the 3rd Pokemon movie is my fave pokemon movie out of them all.

Just had a Thought and now I'm curious. What's you guy's strangest comfort media? It doesn't have to be strange as in like creepy/fucked up/whatever, it can just be smthn a lil odd.
