#pokemon crossover idea

I'm thinking about doing, as a dumb little serotonin boost, do a fictional x Pokemon teams crossover. Like what would instead fictional character's Pokemon team be like? I think it would be a lot of fun to pick a team I think would fit them the best...or just be for a laugh. With over 1000 Pokemon, it would take me a while to figure out some teams but it still would be fun. I would limit myself to the rule of "once a Pokemon is put on a team, it can't appear on another."

Seems like fun. Maybe I'll have some teams ready later this month. (Gotta go through 1025 Pokemon.)

Tempted to make a crossover with Cryptid Batfam & Pokemon

Specifically my winged batfam AU, where they build their own wings and all that. But in a pokemon world.

SO! What type of pokemon do you think they'd all have? In civilian identity, as the Malones, and as cryptid vigilante creachurs?

NEW POKÉMON IDEA

Desmond as a Ditto. I got nothing else, just imagining Desmond waking up as a Ditto and being so fuckin confused the first time he accidentally shapeshifts into a new Pokémon.

I’m just imagining Desmond waking up as a lil Ditto with Ditto parents who taught him how to shapeshift. Desmond can’t understand them at all with their “Ditto, Ditto” language but he managed to get what they’re trying to say.

Later on, when his parents hatched new Dittos, he leaves the small peaceful forest they were in and shapeshifts into a Pidgey and took flight.

The other Pidgeys and their evolutions see his eyes and they stay far away but that was fine.

Desmond just wanted to look around this new world he finds himself in.

A few months later, the gym leaders all hear about a young man, older than the usual trainers trying to get a badge from their gyms, battling the first gym leader and winning his first badge.

He wears a white hood and a full white mask that covers his entire face.

He does not speak, instead using hand gestures or using a text to speech app on his phone.

Why did the other gym leaders give them a head’s up?

Because he doesn’t order his Pokemons around, simply letting them fight freely.

(Of course Desmond can’t talk. The only thing he can say is “Ditto”. Also, he got the Pokeballs from the local evil organization of that continent. He also has a companion Ditto that stays by his shoulder who may or may not be his younger sibling, he’s not entirely sure. The Ditto just started following him around after a Pidgey and stayed with him. Now, every time a Pokedex register him, he gets the excuse of ‘saying’ the Pokedex was registering the Ditto that was clinging to him)

Pokemon Crossover Team Part 1

It's finally time to start this little project! And we're starting with the show I have a love-hate relationship with: Miraculous Ladybug. (I don't have time to explain why.) Before I reveal the first character, let us imagine what the region would look like for this franchise.

I would imagine that the region for Miraculous Ladybug would have a unique gimmick where trainers outside the region would not know any of the gym leaders' real names. Only by code names. Those who lived inside the region would know the real names but would not tell outsiders about it. Not out of malicious, but out of a small joke. Oh! And the gyms aren't based on types. (How fun.) And maybe a struggle to reclaim the gyms from the evil Team Akuma. All up to you!

Now time for the first trainer and team! Which I may or may not use as the stand-in for the main character we follow for this project. But here he is!

Meet Cat Noir a.k.a. Adrien Agreste! One of the gym leaders of this region! After defeating the first leader of Team Akuma, Hawkmoth, and learning about the new leader, Adrien left for the region [instead region's name] to find allies to help. But he'll have to fight for it. So what Pokemon will he be bringing?

Yes, he has a team of cats. (Who's surprised?) But there's a reason why. I want to lean into the cat theme and with these specific Pokemon.

Since Cat Noir is a cat theme hero, it would make sense to have cat Pokemon on his team. However, I want to play with it by having both Pokemon that are wild and domestic. Persian, Delcatty, and Glameow are based on Adrien's rich background while Alolan Persian, Liepard, and Perrserker are based on his freedom as Cat Noir. (And before any of you ask, no. His father didn't pick any of his Pokemon. This was all on him.)
