An aesthetic for a ship between an Absol and a Watchog (Pokémon) who are partners in a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon sense; with Absol watching for disaster and protecting Watchog, while Watchog is steadfast and stubborn-- protecting her partner no matter the cost. This aesthetic also includes themes of natural disasters, body positivity for Watchog, and hints of Absol helping with soothing Watchog after false alarms and her occasional paranoid intrusive thoughts.

I have felt a pull to the Pokemon universe for some time now in an alterhuman way and decided to finally look into the feeling. I felt that I should look at a list of ghost types first and ended up on Hisuian Zoroark and did not need to look further. The feelings clicked into place.

I may think about it some more but it feels right enough to accept and see if the label of a kintype fits. If it does not, I will just remove it later.

It explains my attachment to cold climates at the very least, and intertwines with what I see myself as in ways that are too hard to explain for disorganised thoughts at 1am.

Evolution/metamorphosis : alterhuman experiences of it?

So i see a lot of shapeshifter talking about that sort of metamorphosis, but a lot less the kind of insect type of it, of having different forms that are radically different as you grow, but not like... a power of choice over it. I'm kinda curious about it amongst alterhuman !

I immediately thought of insect therianthropes (holometabols mostly, aka the ones with a complete metamorphosis, such as hymenopterans, lepidopterans, beetles, etc) and pokekin, but if anyone else has something that applies (or, honestly, does not but comes close enough to be interesting to share), i'd love to hear it.
