Our original Jessie and Misty, Rachael Lillis, has sadly lost her battle to cancer and passed away Saturday. May she rest in peace. 😔

As a fellow red headed girl who was ONLY obsessed with Pokémon and that’s about all I watched growing up, Misty was my absolute favorite character and water Pokémon are my favorite. Thanks for making my childhood. Literally just found out she passed away on my birthday. 😭💙

Rest in peace Rachael Lillis, you will be so very missed. I absolutely adored your work as Jesse and Misty, and Jigglypuff too, and they remain some of my favourite characters from childhood. (Gosh I have always loved Misty and her voice so much, it's probably why my favourite Pokémon type to this day is water type.)

All this to say, thank you for sharing your voice with the world.
