I remembered seeing this the first time on the big screen, got it for Christmas on video and then replaced it with a DVD.

I was heavily obsessed with Mew way back then because I really love the design, the voice was cute and the scene where it was playing on one of the windowsills like some kind of amusement park was so adorable (one of my personally favourite scenes of the film). 🥰

Pokémon the First Move: Mewtwo Strikes Back had and will always be my favourite Pokémon movie through and through.

So many memories…

The human sacrificed himself… to save the Pokémon. I pitted them against each other, but not until they set aside their differences did I see the true power they all share deep inside. I see now that the circumstances of one’s birth are irrelevant. It is what you do with the gift of life that determines who you are.

The song was written by Piper, Eliot Kennedy, Mark Cawley, Mike Percy and Tim Lever for Piper's second album Walk of Life, and was released as the album's lead single.
