Here’s an illustration I did for the Moonblast anthology a couple years back. I drew this based on a Cleffa card I had as a child! It was my prized possession. I think I traded a rainbow energy for it in 1st grade. I didn’t play the card game, so it was useless to me haha.

I had a significant other who doesn’t exist irl. I carried them around, and we went to Walmart and shoplifted a bunch of Pokémon cards with no consequences.

Inspired by the internet. I had two buckets covered. When kids and teens came up to the porch, I would ask them “Trick or Treat?”

If they chose treat, they got candy and spooky Pokémon booster packs. If they chose trick, they got potatoes and green bell peppers or as I called them tonight. “Spicy Potatoes”

A few laughed and took it confused but fine. Some laughed but was bummed (if they were little I’d still give ‘Em candy and cards). Their parents were laughing at the reactions.

Best one was a toddler who chose the potato. I gave her some candy too but she honestly was more focused on the potato and left happy.

Good idea. Will do it again next year.

A rushed job that actually came out really nice 😭

The process to finish this in a work week before the show was crazy (unsure if I’ll upload time-lapse videos due to how messy it was 😵‍💫) but I did it so mission accomplished!

I love that the description for Totodile is literally just Brainard himself lmao

We also went to a cafe yesterday that had re-ments and got these guys, I got the Glaceon and they got the Eevee :)
