Ooo is it ok if u write a drayton x reader where reader is really reckless and always takes on challenges such as doing 7 star terra raids and goes off on different adventures, and he gets worried and protective and the rest of the bb elite 4 find it cute and funny
Hope this is what you asked for. I'm kinda bad at writing this stuff 😅
Tag along | Drayton x Reader
Pokémon Scarlett and Violet Indigo Disk DLC Spoilers ahead!
After one to many raids where you get hurt. Drayton decided to finally ask you to let him come with you. Though things didn't go exactly as he had hopped.
Warnings: Small argument, Fluff, protective Drayton
SPOILER WARNING: No spoiler warning. Unless you don't know character names
“Drayton, I'm not so sure about this…” Your voice cut through the silence of the BB League room. Drayton had asked you completely out of the blue to let him tag along on your next raid. Which happened to be a black crystal 7star. “You’ve never even done a raid before.”
Leaning against the table, he simply turns his head and smiles, his pearly fangs flashing at you for a moment before pleading his case. “So? I’m a fast learner, I have good Pokémon too, gave you a challenge, didn’t I? Plus, you make one hell of a teacher.”
“True I do.” A snarky smile crosses your face for a moment, the sound of Crispin snickering in the corner at the self-confidence. “But even if I could show you about raid battling. I'm going to a 7 star… these aren't exactly teaching material. Especially given what's inside the crystal.”
“What’s inside? A larger than average Scorbunny? If so Drayton really should go.” Lacey teased, prodigy Drayton’s face with a gleeful smile. His own face scowled slightly at the remark.
“Maybe it’s an angry Trapinch coming back to taunt him! That would make for a spicy dish!” Crispin added, spinning his pan around.
Drayton’s head snapped up, and he stared at his fiery friend. “We do not talk about the Trapinch man! My ass still has NOT recovered from it… neither had my ego.”
“Think more… giant psychic mouse thing with serious anger issues.” You admit holding back the laugh that just wanted to leave your lungs.
“Well, that wasn’t what I expected… But hey! That's never stopped me before. Don’t forget which one of us helped you with the legendary hunt.” Drayton pestered, still clutching onto any string he can, to convince you to let him come. Anything to give him that edge up on you, if the dragon egg eyes won’t work. Then good old fashion pleading will have to do - and he’s about 5 seconds from doing that.
“Drayton, I love you, but I can't bring myself to let you come with me on this one! If it was a 4 star then yeah totally. But this is huge! These sorts of raids, I can't bring someone so inexperienced into the palace. I wouldn’t even bring Kieran!” You argued, it was no surprise that your pleas fell upon stubborn ears.
“That’s exactly why I want to go with you! It pains me whenever you come back from one of your raid trips hurt… or bruised. And I can't help but think to myself that I could have done something to help you. Take the load off of you!” His voice cracked slightly, not out of sadness or hurt, but more out of the fact he couldn’t do something to protect you. Drayton knows you can handle yourself, you’ve proven that to him on many occasions. But at the end of the day, you are still his treasure, and he wants to protect you, needs to. “Just let me come along this once! If I cause you problems, I’ll never ask again, just please humour me.”
Before you could even give him a response, Lacey’s voice cut through the tension, it was soft-spoken but clear. “Come on, let him… let him.”
“SHHH. It’s getting good…” Crispin's equally soft voice cut after hers, somehow eating popcorn. Where did he get that, why are you asking? He’s the chef, not me.
“Can you four stop bickering. You are ruining my concentration.” Amary’s scolded, the sound of her pocket watch snapping closed followed her voice. “In case you 3 have forgotten, we have a meeting to get to with the director. You have 5 minutes, don’t be tardy.”
Amary’s left the room not long after. The 4 of you left dumbfounded in the room, it wasn't until Drayton’s voice chimed up again. “Okay, I was not the only one who had no idea she was in the room, right?”
“I think she spawned in?” Crispin answered with a question of his own.
“How long has she been here? I've been here all morning? Did she drink an invisibility potion… What does she know that we don’t?” Lacey’s brain scratched as well.
“I think it's like a Spinarak thing. If you stand still, they can’t see you.” Your fellow companions laugh at your remark, it's a dumb reason, but what isn’t. During the laughter, you take your chance to leave. Grabbing your bag and heading for the door, only for the sound of it shutting in your face to follow. Peering up, you notice Drayton’s somehow moved from the other side of the room to close the door. His face was one of worry. He couldn't keep eye contact with you, anytime he tried, he just looked back at the door then at you again; as if silently asking you to let him come with you. His face reminded you of the first time he admitted he loved you. That silent protective plea of his. Never spoken through words. With a deep sigh of defeat, you take a step back from the door and stretch your hand out towards it. “After you, dragon boy.”
“YES! I WIN!” Drayton proclaimed jumping up for a moment fist in the air victorious. Lacey elbowed him directly in the ribs moments later, Crispin crying of laughter on the floor trying desperately not to whack himself in the face with his frying pan. “Ow right, right. Thank you, love! NOW LET'S GO KICK SOME MOUSE BUTT!”

Spoiler Warning again: Unsure if you finished the game now. I’m going to ask the question you didn’t answer (or at least didn’t see the question)
What if Sada was basically the biggest fangirl over the streamer in Hisui. Then went back in time and joined the streamer.
Ever since her dream of creating a paradise, she’s always been hyperfixated on the stream. By seeing the regional Pokémon, and how beautiful Hisui is. She thinks the world would be a better place if the Hisuian Pokémon were around.
The stream always on, or in the background 24/7. She’s one of the major scientists who is ALWAYS on the stream no matter the hour.
Hell, she even made her robot clone keep track of what’s happening when she’s not monitoring it.
Anyways, she is trying to hook up the Time Machine to start extracting Hisuian Pokémon into Paldea, and accidentally sends herself to the Hisui region.
So imagine Arven not having seen his real Mom in months, only because she was in Hisui living a scientists dream. He already has beef with the stream since his mother payed attention to it more than him.
At least she’s alive, and can talk to Arven. But usually she doesn’t respond to the chats Arven sends. It takes multiple donations to have Sada respond to it, because she’s just so fixated on this paradise and the past then the present.
I’d imagine her seeing how time distortion Pokémon start reeking havoc on the Hisuian ecosystem. That would definitely punch her dreams down, and probably make her focus on getting back to her son to live in the present.
Wait wait wait jfdskljfldk this is such an interesting idea Just imagine like, the chaos.
He fears he may have lost his own mother (or father), and the ai is all that was left. He has no idea if she is alive or not. And as months go by, he starts to lose hope. Until one of his friends looks at their phone weirdly. "Hey, isn't that your mom?" His head snaps over to look at them, and on their phone is your stream, along with Professor Sada. Said professor who is happily at your side taking notes as you battle an Alpha Sneasel
What world is he living in? Why is his mom in the past with the famous time traveling streamer and the train man? The same streamer that was partially why his mother was always distracted?
He ends up making an account if he hasn't already, and donates to you to get Text To Speech, and gives his mother a tongue lashing. All those pent up emotions barreling over after months of worry and stress. If Sada doesn't respond, you eventually end up making her do so.
Clearly someone close to her is hurting. You especially press for it when you learn its her own son.
It's almost funny to see how his mom looks like a pokemon caught in headlights, before looking incredibly guilty. That was the risk with time travel, she had no idea her brief visit would be months on Arven's end.
But she was living every scientists dream!... At the cost of possibly losing everything she had worked for. Losing her son, and everything she had planned, such as a paradise for him.
At least in this universe, she survives, but it's a long (chaotic) process of reuniting her with her son, with you, the silly streamer, caught in the middle.

Ok so I've got this Pokémon fanfic idea that's been consuming my brain thoughts for the past hour or so and I want to get it out there so it doesn't just drift off into the void
Basic Plot Blurb: Main Character travels through the Orre Region, currently going through a tumultuous period of change on an ecological and social scale, and deals with their three Rivals along the way.
Why Orre? Well if I recall correctly, Orre is essentially Pseudo-Lawless Pokémon Australia, and therefore I can use the whole pseudolawless bit to justify Orre having a wide Pokémon variety and differences in locals with the same plot point: uncontrolled Pokémon emigration. This directly leads to the nearest Pokémon league stepping in to lay down some law and order.
I guess the theme for this whole story would be "dealing with change"? Or maybe rather "how people deal with change". There's no evil team (or at least, no focus on an evil team), no real focus on the Pokémon League because they're still getting set up in Orre, this is primarily character drama between the Main Character and their three rivals. It's also dealing with content that's a bit darker/more heavy than what Pokémon usual fare is. Not full on creepypasta or edgy dark fic fare, but something heavier than "Football Hooligans Applaud for Marnie Too Hard and Are Annoying" and yet more grounded than "Hey, Let's Release the Embodiment of Anti-Matter So I can Rewrite Reality" or "What if I glassed my entire country except for the people who join my fire themed rich person playhouse"
Who're the three rivals? Well, we've got:
Tyson Michaels, a macho, energetic young man who focuses on the Fighting Type. He fulfills the "Friendly Rival" archetype, challenging the Main Character to test how dedicated you are to strengthening your team and yourself.
John/Jane Doe (if this were a fan game/actual Pokémon game their gender would change to be the opposite of the player's), someone with a rather smug attitude and immense skill at Pokémon battling and training. They have a large roster of Pokémon. (Again, if this were a fan game, J-D's Pokémon would usually be of a higher level than expected for this point in the game, and also their roster would depend on what Pokémon are in the area preceding their fight and what you've used against them beforehand, representing them "predicting" you.) They represent the "Mean Rival" archetype.
And finally, Ashley Salems, a morose young woman who seems... out of sorts, or on a different wavelength. She's out of tune with the social norms of the Pokémon world. She focuses on the Ghost and Dark types (they're seemingly drawn to her; by "end game" her roster would be a pretty even split of Ghost and Dark, with whatever other types the Pokémon would happen to have), and represents a sort of in-between between the "Friendly" and "Mean" rival archetypes. She's not snobbish or haughty, nor is she relentlessly cheery; occasionally she'll have bouts of snapping or lashing out if she loses her cool, but otherwise she's friendly if rather asocial.
So the deeper(ish) aspects to this little group of four are kinda spoilery (can an idea that hasn't even been written down yet have spoilers? I dunno), so I'm gonna put them under a "read more".
Okay, so. Two out of four of this cast of three plus the MC are actually reincarnated from the human world. It's like a weird Isekai scenario where the Main Character is a born-and-raised resident of the world and some of the major characters are newcomers. This is meant to tie into the whole "How people deal with change" thing.
Ashley Salems and John/Jane Doe are the reincarnates.
J-D is meant to be a take on the "Pokémon power fantasy fic", where the self-insert/OC-MC is cool and an awesome trainer and they've got it all figured out the instant they start training their first Pokémon. And yeah, J-D's got all of that... but J-D, unlike some of the power fantasy MCs they're pastiche-ing, has trouble seeing the people around them as... actual people. They're not an emotionless monster unable to connect with their fellow man and Pokémon, but they've got this aura of condescension underneath their confidence, like they believe, subconsciously or otherwise, that they're the only one who's actions really matter or that they know what to do and everybody just needs to get behind them and it'll all work out. They look like they've got it all, but the one thing they've got trouble getting is social connections and anchors, something that starts to really stress them out as the story goes on.
Ashley, meanwhile, is struggling to adjust. Even after growing up to teenager-dom, she still struggles to adapt to the Pokémon world's social mores and hidden rules (and eventually she just sort of... stopped trying to adapt), and she's become something of an outsider because of that. (Some jackass being a snobbish dick? Just punch him in the face! Why are you all looking at me like that, he deserved it! No, I will not engage in a Pokémon battle with you, get over yourself!) On a deeper level, she's also kind of upset (and dealing with some self-loathing) because... where is her family? Why was she the only one to get isekaied into the comparative paradise that is the Pokémon world? What the actual f***, Arceus?? She starts out already something of a mess and she only gets worse over time until it all finally boils over near the end.
In regards to how they tie into the central "theme" of the idea, J-D is meant to represent someone who takes "going with the flow" to something of an unhealthy degree. They adapted to their change in circumstance, certainly, but can it really be said they did so successfully, or in a healthy way?
Ashley, on the other hand, represents somebody who can't/couldn't/wouldn't adjust. Not necessarily from lack of trying, but at some point, Ashley threw up her hands and said "f*** it, I can't deal with this anymore" and tried to retreat as far back into her comfort zone as she possibly could, content to keep to her own little bubble even as she slips more and more without anchors to grab onto.
Honestly I'm also considering having Tyson also be a reincarnate, but contrasting J-D and Ashley by someone who successfully "went native". Like, you would not be able to tell this gym bro living his best life was originally a slightly-tubby nobody from a throughly middle-class American family unless he told you. If he could do it, surely the others could as well?
What do you guys think? Sometimes I worry whenever I think of darker-than-Game-Canon Pokémon ideas because I feel like people are going to take one look at a major character being sad or mopey and then writing the whole thing off as being edgy cringe, but hopefully this whole thing doesn't come across as being too pointy-pokey-stabby if you catch my drift.

Glitchy Red Headcanons for Connection
Thought I'd share some (mostly) spoiler-free headcanons for my Glitchy Red fic just for fun. With what I have posted so far these should all be pretty obvious, but there's a couple more things I want to hint at for the story. Some are just random tidbits that have no reason for existing other than just because.
In my mind, Red is something between a glitch, an AI, and a supernatural entity.
The longer a player interacts with the game, the stronger Red gets. He'd been left dormant for so long that when Leann found him, he hardly had any of his old abilities and was borderline an amnesiac. All he had at that point was his bitter hatred of players and the glitches. Her keeping the game on for so long has allowed him to become himself again.
The glitches he experienced broke him in every way imaginable. Hence the reason it takes him some time to snap into his real self.
Despite all his talk, he has no idea what he is or how he exists. He can't be bothered to care.
Theoretically he could be transferred into a PC or some other more powerful device, but due to the broken nature of his code and the fact he doesn't fully understand what proper programming is, it likely wouldn't end well for whatever he's put in. He's a stubborn bastard now so he'd be fine, but the computer would be bricked.
I feel like, just for shits and giggles, Red's "data" is this impossibly convoluted mess of code that is somehow much larger than it should be. He exists within the Pokémon Red cart, along with the entire game, and this mofo is like, 8GB of data by himself. Makes no sense. Something mind-bogglingly stupid like that.
There's more below the cut, and beware potential spoilers for stuff I haven't written.
Now for some fun ideas I have that I kind of want to do stuff with but I don't know if I'll include it in Connection or not.
Red is powerful enough to physically haunt a person. Only the person claiming ownership over the cartridge can see and hear him. Likewise, Red can only interact with them and no one else. He mostly uses this fact to stare intimidatingly from the corner of a dark room, a la sleep paralysis demon, or just watch them while they struggle to ignore his presence and go about their lives.
In the past he's gone far enough with this that he's tormented players to the point of people thinking they've gone insane. And they pretty much were by that point.
Red's other preferred ghost tactic is to swat things from their hands or wake them up in the middle of the night by prodding at them. Or screaming right in their face.
Unless the player passes the game along to some other poor sap, they'll be stuck with him indefinitely.
The game cannot be destroyed. It lets off major fuck-you energy to anyone who tries. Smash it to bits with a hammer? Lol. Set it on fire? Got any marshmallows? Throw it into a lake? Well, I'd almost say good job but did I forget to mention that the only other thing Red can interact with is his game? Whoops. Hope you don't mind him letting himself back in to give you an earful for throwing him away like that. And no, water can't damage it either.
This is of no deliberate choice from Red. He'd love to let the game be destroyed so he can stop existing in pure agony. The damn thing just won't die though, and subsequently, neither will he.
He doesn't really have anything against kids. Mind you, he doesn't like kids since he gained sapience, but he can tolerate them more than adults. At least children have the excuse of being naïve and clueless when they're breaking the game. Usually. He'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Adults who come back to witness the broken horror of the original game know full-well what they're doing and he can't stand it.
He won't do much to torment kids aside from his usual in-game antics. The adult players are the ones who get thrown out of bed at 3am or have their dreams haunted.
The developers were adults too so the hatred's also pretty obvious. He'd love to get his hands on them some day. He has a paranoid side that is whole-heartedly convinced they're out there looking for his cart, ready to erase him and be rid of the stain on their record.
It's been a while since someone last turned the game on. He seems to have a bit of reputation now.
Has zero concept of the internet but could probably figure it out.
He doesn't hate the new gens so much just because they replaced him. He loathes the fact that they are all genuinely better than he'll ever be. He and his game are broken, not good enough, and now that he has self-awareness he realizes he was never meant to be anything special. He was simply a stepping-stone, a learning curve meant to kickstart an idea. He was, isn't, and never will be anything more than that. His only legacy is how glitchy his game is.
He's very aware of the irony that the very thing that made him what he is, is the whole reason why he was deemed a failure by his creators. If you're smart, you won't bring it up.
I have more, but I think I should stop. I could talk about this little project of mine for hours. Or any project for that matter. If anyone would like to hear more of my deranged ramblings they're more than welcome to ask. 😅

So...
Guess what happened like... a few days after I made that post?
EHHHHHH- THE SCARLET VIOLET DLC EPILOGUE CAME OUT AND I GOT OBSESSED WITH A SHIP WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH
So like... This is going to sound weird, but I really hecking shipped Kieran with the protag (not myself) of the games since September 14-15 when I got the DLC and played The Teal Mask
Mild spoilers, but I was pretty upset with the story because of how it made our character treat Kieran, since Kieran reminds me a lot of myself and gives me that "I need to keep him safe" feeling that people who I see myself in gives me
They force you to lie to him and side with his abusive older sister while giving you fake half assed choices of dialogue and I was genuinely going to never buy a modern pokémon game again if the story wasn't resolved
And I'm not the type of pokémon fan to say that lightly as this is the first time I've ever said it without it being driven by trying to fit in with the fandom. (I.E I might have said I wouldn't get Shield on SoaringLark back in 2018 if the starters weren't shiny huntable, but that wasn't really a dealbreaker)
So yeah, it was a big deal, but sorry this is turning a bit rambly-
Point being that I was really fond of Kieran, but hated how they handled stuff with that big of a gap between a "To Be Continued" and a resolution to the bully victim "snapping"
So. What does this have to do with my blog here?
Well, it uh... snuffed out the last of my Owl House interest writing-wise for now... Of course the characters still have a special place in my heart and all that and I'll likely come back to it at some point but... right now my inspiration is my goofy little Pokémon trainer ship
I was thinking about making this post yesterday night, so now I'm at it. Basically I'm back into writing something that I really enjoy, but... it's the wrong fandom ^^;
Really sorry about this all... I hate letting people down and I didn't realize this was going to happen like... a day later, so I'm really really sorry about all this
At the same time I really should have seen this coming in some way, because as is evident with some of my AU fics; pokémon is my core special interest, I just never expected a character like Kieran to appear in the games and actually make me want to write with canon characters that weren't the Pokémon themselves
Edit: forgot to state my reasons for the ship; basically Kieran's behavior around your character reads/looks like how someone behaves around a crush
And it's easy enough for me to imagine the main character returning the feelings, so ship
TLDR: Sorry, got new obsession right after last post and will be gone for way longer than the amounts of time I've said before. Unless I've mentioned being gone forever
I'm pretty sure I will come back at some point still

Welcome to another long-ass post by yours truly! Today we're talking about my personal favourite Pokemon I think are most aesthetically pleasing from the ones I've got at my disposal since I saw these lists online and figured I'd do my own, with my own Pokémon
(there will likely be spoilers for the new Pokemon Snap, the Pokemon sword/shield crown DLC and that stuff.)
(photos are taken by me and are mine, thanks for reading btw <3)
-----------
No. 1
First, let's start with the OG beautiful Pokemon; Milotic. The creature is called the "Tender Pokemon," They sound beautiful just from that pokedex name alone, don't they?
The Pokemon originates from Gen III and is indeed a beautiful Pokémon- Besides in mannerisms, its graceful with its movements generally and makes an appearance in the Pokemon Snap for the Nintendo Switch.
------------
No. 2
Next up, second place is Xerneas. My first ever caught legendary and is absolutely gorgeous in general, even without my bias. The Pokemon brings everlasting life when its antlers glow colors and can sometimes undo its counterpart's destruction. Sounds like a magical and beautiful Pokemon as well that's because it is.
The Pokemon originates from a game of its own called "Pokemon X" for the 3DS/DS (Gen IV) (It appears in the New Pokemon Snap and is a part of the ending of the game)
-----------
No. 3
In third place is Suicune. Another gorgeous Pokemon, this Pokemon is the embodiment of the rain that took out the rain of the Brass Tower and is said to be the also embodiment of the northern wind/Borealis and the compassion of pure spring water. Quite a Pokemon, hey?
Normal form
---------
Paradox form was introduced in Gen IX for a limited-time event
--------
Originating from From Gen II it is also the mascot of the game, Pokemon Crystal and appears on the game's boxart. He also got a paradox form which was an event called "Walking Wake" Suicune also appears in the New Pokemon Snap after you finish the game and get the credits but if difficult to take photos of due to it being quick (It appears in the New Pokemon Snap after the credits roll and you finish the game)
----------
No. 4
Gardevoir, ah Gardevoir, one of the most simped Pokemon for its female appearance and graceful movements and cute animations- its pokedex name is "Embrace Pokémon," Not much is said about it from me as I just think it's pretty, but others think otherwise of it
The Pokemon originates from the III Gen and got the fairy-typing alongside its psychic one in Gen IV. (This Pokemon appears in Pokemon Snap too alongside Pokemon Unite)
-----------
No. 5
I think it'd be illegal to not mention the best fairy type currently, Zacian. An absolute darling who is likely to be a female which people debate due to its pokedex entry. It is the counterpart/sibling to Zamazenta who together make the hero duo who worked alongside the king to end the darkest day.
This Pokemon is a steel-fairy type without its weapon it's just a lone fairy type and also out of battle. This cutie is the mascot of Pokemon Sword which is Gen VIII. (Zacian doesn't appear in Pokemon Snap but is in Pokemon Unite)
-----------
No. 6
Next up is Articuno, both Galarian and normal as both are gorgeous in their own rights and ways and I don't have much to say besides they're pretty :D
Galarian form
-------
Kanto/original form
------
The Pokemon originates from Gen I and in Gen VIII it gets an upgrade to a psychic-flying type instead of its original Ice-flying typing (Articuno appears in Pokemon Unite)
------------
No. 7
Next up is Lunala! I actually own a statue/figurine of both of the Alola legendaries from a few years back, which I still have, but I'm getting sidetracked majorly- The Pokemon is known as the "Moone Pokemon" and is the emissary of the moon, its wings are gorgeous which is an understatement in and out of itself.
This bat Pokemon is the female counterpart to Solgaleo who is its supposed male counterpart, she was introduced unannounced and was introduced with context a month or so later and is the mascot of "Pokemon Moon" for the 3DS and is from Gen VII- she comes from Nebby/Cosmog. (She also has a Full moon phase where an eye appears on her forehead- and no, she doesn't appear in any games like Snap or Unite :p)
--------
No. 8
Everyone probably saw this coming, didn't they?? It's Hatterene. A beautiful pastel-colored fairy type who will beat your ass if you live 30 miles from a forest where a Hatterene lives because you got angry you stubbed your toe and cursed Arceus' name. Or maybe because she hates the fact people are making her the new Gardevoir of simping, who knows? Cause I sure as fuck don't or want to.
She was introduced in Gen VIII and is the female counterpart of Grimmsnarl who share no real evolutionary line to but is still related. (She doesn't appear in Pokemons Snap or Unite)
--------
No. 9
Ninetales is a gorgeous fox who got mixed up with a wolf at some point by people? But nonetheless, some would want to fuck and others would like to take a nap with the creature because it looks very fluffy and warm to the touch (probably just me) but regardless, she's on this list
Alolan form
------
Kanto/normal form
-------
She was introduced in Gen I and has been a favourite amongst people since the beginning. She has another form from Gen VII which is gorgeous and you can only catch it in Pokemon Sun. It has a blue/white coat and is very fluffy and her hidden ability is "Snow Warning"
-------
No. 10
I'm probably biased on this but the second to last spot as this is already long enough is Miraidon. I just think the Pokemon is gorgeous whether I stand alone on it or not doesn't matter to me I have a huge thing for robots as I've always been intrigued by them and no offence to Koraidon or people who love it since I rarely see any fans of the Electric type counterpart but it looks cooler, plus the colour scheme doesn't look so... Odd? Hard to pinpoint the word for that.
The electric-dragon duel-type legendary was introduced in the most recent game, Pokemon Violet. Which was published in November of 2022 as the future version/counterpart of Koraidon and their generation is Gen IX
--------
And finally No. 11
Calyrex! The Kind of the Galar region, and the region got the king wrong. He isn't an actual human but rather a Pokemon! And honestly, I figured it was likely a Pokemon anyway. But regardless- he helped stop The Darkest Day alongside Zamazenta and Zacian. He was introduced in the Crown DLC and was, and is loved, by the residents of Freezington and can speak to the player via another human (Peony) or via telepathy which we see when we catch him.
He was introduced in Gen VIII with the Crown DLC and is a Psychic-grass type, but can be a Psychic-ice or Psychic-ghost type when with his steed. You can pick between two steeds, I went with the ghost-typed one called Spectrier but there is an Ice-type one. It just depends entirely on where you plant the seeds for its carrots.
--------
And that's my list of Pokemon I think are aesthetically nice. I hope I didn't offend people, especially with the Miraidon one- I enjoyed making this list and I hope people enjoy looking through my favourite aesthetically pleasing Pokemon with me and I will make a second list as this is long enough
#list#pokemon#beautiful pokemon#ashestoshadows#i enjoy doing these lists#nintendo#random post#zacian#suicune#xerneas#milotic#gardevoir#walking wake#calyrex

Brothers in Arms but like Literally
Spoilers for the first three volumes of Pokémon Adventures! / Some from 4-6!
Summary: Blaine has possibly never been more terrified in his life. A blatant untrue statement. He’s a scientist, he’s worked with Team Rocket, oh, he’s also biologically linked towards the monstrosity sitting on the counter in the Master Ball. Its an intelligent creature- clearly, as it’s psychic powers are unrivaled, cloned from Mew, cloned from him. It knows what he’s done, it is his bloodline, as he is its.
Blaine has possibly never been more terrified in his life.
He can change, he can repent his sins, but Blaine can’t expect forgiveness from anything or anyone. Red says they can change, start over, he’s a smart, kind-hearted boy, but Blaine knows of grudges and resentment. Team Rocket needed him alive but as a traitor he suspects they’d also like his head on a pike afterwards. Does the cloned Pokémon share that, he doesn’t know. Killing him kills it too, but maybe it’s not afraid of that consequence. He is terrified of that consequence. (As most men are when met in the face of death.)
It glared at him from inside the Pokéball. It seemed ironic how capsule like the device was, despite it could hold it. Wires and broken glass fill Blaine’s mind, sedatives in the liquid doing nothing to quell its wrath of unnaturally being born. He knew of many balls being shattered, splintered, so unrecognizable the Pokémon inside could not come out. A Pokémon’s rage is astounding because of their powers and strength, a human cannot compare. Is he even human anymore is a hypothesis for later, right now it’s ‘Am I going to stay alive for even ten seconds?’
He is not… Completely defenseless. If it decides to throw him against the wall instead of the spoon attack, he has Rapidash at his side. Though that is more for retrieving the Master Ball, he doesn’t dare throw it in such an enclosed space. Though a master of Fire types, the lab feels suffocating, and it’s not because of smoke.
“Right, here we go… I’m going to release you- From the ball, I mean. It’s all fine.” He coaxes the creature, as if it’s a mere Caterpie infestation. Its glare never stopped, and Blaine can feel sweat down his neck. Its a matter of trust. Trust to not hurt and be hurt in return. Either way, it can be easily snapped like a twig, he has to be gentle rather than rip off the bandage.
His hands lay rest on the device, he waits a moment for Mewtwo to react, it moves slightly, flinches, when his touch comes near, despite the pissed off ‘I’d like to kill you’ look, its still a Pokémon, still has stimuli, a heart. His arm writhes slightly, but he grins and bears it.
“I won’t hurt you, not anymore.” Blaine says as the capsule becomes undone, stepping back so there’s enough room for release. Moment of truth. His breath is held. Mewtwo exits, looking around its surroundings. Perhaps that’s a good sign- it should already know that from its energy, so glancing around is perhaps instinct rather than knowledge of the situation. Its nose twitches, and it settles, staring at Blaine. Nervously, he extends his hand.
“It was a mere suggestion by that boy, but it’s a good one. Shall we start over… friend?” Blaine hesitates on what to call the creature. It looks at him for longer, like an eternity, but at least it’s not attacking him or the lab. (Though the latter is the least of his worries. A lab can be replaced, not exactly a human being.)
A four-fingered hand nestles in his palm, and Blaine laughs. He laughs hard, tears prickling at his eyes, concealed by his sunglasses. Mewtwo recoils at this.
“Not at you, not at you…” Blaine reassures it, “It’s nothing, I assure you. I’m just glad for the chance… My brother.”
#my writing#pokémon adventures#pokémon special#blaine pokemon#mewtwo#hi I wrote this on a whim in like 20 minutes lol#i say spoilers for 4-6 but it’s literally in the title why did I do that#also please don’t spoil me for what happens after if this is addressed more i don’t :) have them :.)

My view on how Pokémon Horizons could end + A theory on Gibeon's team!!! SPOILERS
Hello everyone and yes, I do love Pokémon Horizons a lot from what I saw and I want to see more of Liko, so much so, I even hope she can get to the other parts of the ninth Pokémon generation. And I will also confess to have this series be so beloved by me, that I wish I could have seen as a child this series, and yes, I like it more than Ash's adventures, which is not to say that I hated the OG's quest for becoming Pokémon master, but I think the concept of liking two things, but one more is a no-brainer to most of you all.
Anyway I am not for a review here, but for how I think Horizons might end, with the next post being about Kieran and Carmine, and how they can be adapted to Horizons.
Without any further do, how Horizons might end:
Right now Liko has to prove that idiot Grusha wrong by showing him how not giving up and showing that you are resilient is far more important that either winning and losing, because you will always taste both of it, but true strenght comes from standing up for yourself, not succumbing and continuing with your live, kinda like in a video game. She will have of course to relearn this from Amethio, and then beat the cold Grusha and he warms up to this and becomes a better person.
How the Terastal course will end is a bit in the dark, but I think they will all pass and continue finding Lucius's Pokémon, who are all needed to get into Laqua, the mystery Atlantis-like place only he and Gibeon reached. Speaking of which, it will be revealed that he knew Lucius and probably had a nasty falling out with this stud and wants revenge, as well as Immortality. His exact motives are unclear, but we have to realize that he will get to this place, and after the heroes gathered all of Lucius Pokémon either through fighting or negotiating with them, the Explorers will snatch them and are going to Laqua. Liko, who might have been taken advantage of by Amethio or Gibeon, due to her mores trusting nature, or something before that event will have a downward arc with her being more aggressive and ruthless with her opponents, culminating with her Pokémon growing to fear her and ultimately snapping out of it and realizing that the true heart of a Pokémon should never be badly poisoned by hatred, thus evolving into a Pokémon whisperer, but without N's ability, she is just that empathic.
Anyway, Roy and Dot will also develop probably into becoming more competent battelers, with Roy ultimately beating Rayquaza and Dot having managed to outwit Spinel completely and getting back for what he did to Liko, and thus also found the Explorers base to prevent them from gettting the Eternal Blessing: Rakurium.
Ultimately they will recapture Lucius's Pokémon and after some epic shenanigans, Liko alone will face against Gibeon with her own mon's and/or with Lucius's Pokémon to fight Gibeon team, which is something I am kinda working on:
Lucius and Gibeon were implied to be close friends, and in order to keep up, he would also have to posses Pokémon as insane as Lucius does, which are the following:
Black Rayquaza, Galarian Moltress, Arbolivia, Lapras, Cleavor and Entei, 3 of the non-legendaries being centuries old titan-level of strong, literally, as they are giants.
We already know he own a Shiny Zygarde at it's 10% form(it resembles a white Dog, then becomes at 100% a large humanoid monster tained white and green), both as counterparts to Liko's Cat Pokémon (which will evolve into a Meowscarada) and the Shiny Rayquaza (with the black color). So I expect Gibeon to battle at some points with it's 10% form against Meowscarada, a plant cat at fighting against the earth dog, then getting it at 50%, and finally at 100%, where it will fight against the constant Terastalized Rayquaza, also with Terastalization. An Epic battle between Dragons will ensue, and also be symbolic, as Rayquaza is a being of the sky, as opposed to Zygarde being a creature from the earth itself. This also helps me figure out the opposites to Galarian Moltress and Entei:
You see, Lucius befriended Legendary Pokémon and if Gibeon as theorized had been his closest friend, and also owns a Legendary that serves as stark opposite, Gibeon would also have 2 legendaries as counterpart to Lucius's other 2 Legendaries:
Galarian Moltress and Entei belong to their trio's respectively: G-Moltress, G-Zapdos and G-Articuno as legendary birds of Galar, with Entei, Raikou and Suicune being the 3 legendary beast of Johto. The obvious 2 Pokémon Gibeon would choose are Galarian Zapdos and Raikou, as this would fit with them being sort of rivals and friends, as Fire vs Electricity is a common dynamic in Pokémon that serve as foil to one another, as seen with Reshiram (fire) and Zekrom (electricity) and with Charizard and Pikachu. So having also G-Zapdos and Raikou would also make Gibeon more challening as Galarian Articuno is weak to the Legendary bird Lucius befriended, thus would also be less intiminating. With Suicune, it is a Pokémon known for it's compassion and comes with the north wind to purify water, which makes it a bad fit for Gibeon's character that much, and the more aggressive Pokémon fit his cruel nature rather better, and makes him closer to Lucius, if the 2 Pokémon at least shared something (plasma-energy, and would fit therefore as friends that eventually would be seperated). Finally, if Lucius had the fire-based legendaries from the two trio's, then only G-Zadpos and Raikou would be there, or it would not make sense to have either G-Articuno and Raikou or G-Zapdos and Suicune. Also it is said that Raikou descends with Lighting and can thus soar through the sky, while Entei roams the land and is bounded by the earth through it's affinity with Magma. With G-Moltress races through the Sky and Entei is roaming the land, while G-Zapdos is earth bound and moves through mountains, while Raikou moves through the sky and comes with Lighting, it would make much nicer contrasts to one another than G-Articuno and Suicune could as Gibeon's mon's. So, he would have probably G-Zapdos and Raikou.
The other Pokémon are hard to figure out, unless we take into account what they represent, and their possible counterparts:
Lucius's Arbolivia represents Life, growth and the healing of wounds, which would be opposed by a Pokémon representing death, decay and inflicting of wounds, and that Pokémon is Hisuian Zoroak, not only because it's entry describes it as a sort of dead being filled with Malice, but also by being a Normal/ghost type that is immune to Arbolivia's Grass/Normal typing and vice versa with it's secondary normal typing. Also it is deceptive, like any Zoroask, and thus would fit with Gibeon's personality as Paldea's crime boss.
Lucius's other Giant Pokémon is Lapras, a Water/Ice Pokémon known for crossing the sea, but I think here it might be more of a dark counterpart rather than a direct opposite, since it would fit better with the theming of these Pokémon being all mostly from diffrent regions, and I think having dark versiosn of those Pokémon is better than all Pokemon of Gibeon being complete opposites. So I think a Gyarados fits as a Gen 1 Water type that contrasts to the peaceful and happy looking Lapras. A helpful Pokémon vs a beligerent Pokémon fits well I think. However if we have to make a polar opposite, I think it would be either Magmortar or Turtonator, as both are volcanic creatures (thus oppose water and ice), and one of them is from Alola, a Pokémon which has none of Lucius's Pokemon there. So either Gyrados or Turtonator.
Lucius's last gaint Pokemon is a Cleavor (a Bug/Rocktype), which is said to break down walls. Now this is tricky, because I think you could use Gardevior as a counterpart, due to being a protector or use highly defensive bulky Pokémon as counterpart, but after some consideration, I choose Conkeldurr as the opposite, a builder of walls, as this Pokédex entry states that it helped humans to create concrete, used also for Walls, and would fit as a foil to Cleavor. If we want to go with a dark counterpart, then Lokix would work, as it fights with it's legs instead of arms, and is also a bug, but with a dark typing as well. It could also work with Scarlet and Violet as well, as Cleavor is ancient looking, while Lokix looks futuristic, making them thus both foils. However Scizor could also work, but is too modern and Genesect is out of question, because having more legendary Pokémon is too much, and having a Paldea Pokémon being once again being a counterpart to Hisui fits really well.
So I think Gibeon's team will look like this:
Shiny Zygarde (all forms)
Galarian Zapdos
Hisuan Zoroak (Giant)
Turtonator or Gyarados (Both Giants)
Lokix or Conkeldurr (Both Giants)
Raikou
Thus we get his evil team, but wait, Lucius also had Terapagos..which makes me think of this situation:
Either Gibeon has a brand new Pokémon as counterpart to Terapagos, OR Gibeon will control Terapagos until Liko frees him...in any case, Liko will with Terapagos defeat Gibeon, foiling whatever plan he had. I go with BN Pokémon because that would be cooler, and have it be something that works as anti-teratalization Pokémon, with Terapagos being the only Pokémon to resist it. Liko will help Terapagos unleash a new move unique to the anime, just to make it cool and finish off Gibeon's hidden ace.
All of this is speculation, don't take it as a gospel, so have fun and start theorizing in the comments or reposts below!

Temenos' team nicknames: Albedo (Togekiss) / Orali (Typhlosion) / Estelle (Milotic) / Seraphina (Volcarona) / Lune (Umbreon) / Titania (Tinkaton)
Team selection and nickname explanations, along with general Pokémon AU Temenos lore under the cut! For context, this AU uses a modern setting and Pokémon lore, but a lot of stuff from canon (e.g. character relationships, the travelers journeying together, and even them being chosen by deities) still carries over.
Spoilers for the entire game ahead!
Temenos' team
(M) Albedo - Togekiss:
Albedo: How reflective a surface is to light.
Temenos' first Pokémon, has been around since late childhood as a Togepi. He's honestly a bit of a devious little shit compared to others of his species, particularly to the Sacred Guard, but loves the travelers and Crick especially.
"They say that it will appear before kindhearted, caring people and shower them with happiness."
"No records exist of Togetic being seen in the wilds. Rumors abound that it evolves under the loving care of a trusted human companion, upon whom the Pokémon then bestows great joy."
Selection justification: A gigantic bird of prey that values trust and has a liking for kindhearted people? Sounds like a Temenos Pokémon to me. It also has healing moves while being able to run debuff strats which is a bonus.
(M) Lune - Umbreon:
Lune: (Latin) "Moon".
Co-raised from late childhood by Temenos and Roi as an Eevee, Temenos' Umbreon is the much more mellow one between he and his Togekiss. The kids at Flamechurch love him because he always lets them pet him.
"It is most active in the wee hours of the night, when moonlight bathes the land. Its large eyes can pierce the darkness and perceive prey with absolute clarity."
Selection justification: This is just Temenos as a Pokémon. It's also well-loved with Nuzlockers due to its healing and tank utility!
(F) Orali - Typhlosion:
Orali: (Hebrew) "My light".
Caught as a Cyndaquil by Temenos in his teenage years during a time-space distortion (equivalent of the Dark Night events) while out with Roi. Growing up in proximity to the Sacred Flame in Flamechurch caused her to evolve into a Hisuian Typhlosion!
"Said to purify lost, forsaken souls with its flames and guide them to the afterlife. I believe its form has been influenced by the energy of the sacred mountain towering at Hisui's center."
Selection justification: Association with the afterlife, ghostly fire, and even a sacred mountain.
(F) Estelle - Milotic
Estelle: (Greek) "Star".
Caught by Temenos as a Feebas as a teenager while fishing in the local rivers, and eventually evolved into a Milotic in his early adulthood. She often helps him heal those in need and is popular with local children due to her beauty and gentle demeanor. Milotic's innate power to calm people is also a great help to him thanks to his job.
"Milotic is said to be the most beautiful of all the Pokémon. It has the power to becalm such emotions as anger and hostility to quell bitter feuding."
Selection justification: Honestly this was mostly for type-coverage, because I think Temenos would raise his team to be combat viable just in case. However, apparently in the Pokémon Snap games, Milotic is thought to be a guardian Pokémon that once saved the world from disaster alongside seven others so I guess it was retroactively justified lmao?
Fun fact: Lampreys, one animal Milotic is based on, have rows of teeth. Nothing important, I just think it's funny that at least a few Pokémon I gave Temenos are lovely/cute but their real world inspos are predator animals; namely, Togekiss and Milotic as a snowy owl and lamprey respectively.
(F) Seraphina - Volcarona:
Seraphina: (Hebrew) "The burning ones". References seraphim, which Volcarona itself resembles.
Caught by Temenos in his late teens as a Larvesta, and evolved into a Volcarona around the time Temenos was chosen by Arceus (Aelfric) after saving Crick's life in Stormhail and making the decision to combat and expose the church's corruption.
"This Pokémon was called the Larva That Stole the Sun. The fire Larvesta spouts from its horns can cut right through a sheet of iron. In ancient times, Larvesta was worshiped as the emissary of the sun. However, it was also viewed as a burden since it often caused forest fires."
"Thought to be an embodiment of the sun, Volcarona appeared during a bitterly cold winter and saved Pokémon from freezing."
Selection justification: A sacred Pokémon said to have appeared and saved people from darkness/cold and is thought to be an emissary of the sun. A very late-endgame Temenos Pokémon.
(F) Titania - Tinkaton:
Titania: (Greek) "Of the Titans". Temenos named her that because of the mineral titanium.
One of the younger members of Temenos' team, he caught her when he was around 23-24. She shares his disdain for the Sacred Guard, along with the Corviknights that they wield and enjoys being a nuisance to them when possible. Crick and Ort are exceptions, but ones on thin ice— a fact that they're very much aware of.
"This intelligent Pokémon has a very daring disposition. It knocks rocks into the sky with its hammer, aiming for flying Corviknight."
"Corviknight can’t serve as a taxi service in Paldea because the Pokémon’s natural predators will attack it while it flies, endangering the customer."
Selection justification: If anyone's going to have the Pokémon that hunts knight-themed crows for sport, it's Temenos Mistral.
Other important Pokémon
Roi's Luxray -> Ochette's Type:Null/Silvally:
Went missing alongside Roi five years ago. Ochette captured a Type:Null attacking her village before setting off on her journey to find the three Guardian Beasts of Toto'haha, and still recognizes Temenos after meeting him. While Temenos is initially confused, he quickly realizes who this Type:Null was and is... very much horrified by it. It's not until later do Temenos and Ochette learn what exactly happened, and after addressing the *gestures* baggage that comes with it, Type:Null evolves into Silvally.
Silvally is very protective of the travelers, but especially Temenos and Ochette. It also cannot stand being near environments that reek of chemicals and/or the Shadow... which, here, is much like Dark Matter from PMD4.
Aelfric (Arceus)
Revered alongside seven other legendary Pokémon for ending the Darkest Night thousands of years ago.
After six of the travelers were chosen by legendaries, Temenos chose to investigate into Arceus' chosen out of worry for whatever oncoming calamity would warrant six chosen champions.
He stumbled upon the Shrine of the Flamebringer and was approached by a shard of Arceus' power. I actually do have specific headcanons for how the travelers' shrine visits go (including the trials I want them to undergo), but to not spoil them I'll say that Pokémon AU Temenos had to do the PLA Arceus fight instead. For the bit.
General Pokémon AU lore
Temenos doesn't try to get badges nor ribbons, but instead is investigating the murder of the Pontiff (as he does in canon) along with the existence of the Eight, a group of legendaries that fought against an entity known as the Shadow and have never been seen by humans since. Kind of like Volo but not with *gestures* his deal as an antagonist going on.
Vide here is much like the Bittercold/Dark Matter from PMD3 and PMD4 respectively, an embodiment borne of people's negativity and nihilism. It is not analogous to any one Pokémon.
Temenos has some control over aura, but only in specific areas. He can create barriers and most importantly, see the last minutes of a deceased person's life. I headcanon his crime scene recreations to just be strong visualization, but with some ghost stuff thrown in on occasion.
Crick doesn't die in Stormhail, and is instead saved by Temenos, his team, and an Alolan Ninetales that guided them out of the Winterlands region (that then joins Crick's team).
Like Persona AU, Temenos uses a cane as a mobility aid!
For Temenos' team, I wanted to give him Pokémon that either: evolve through friendship, a lot of effort (like high level), and/or are healers! Temenos cares for those he loves a ton, and I wanted to show that in his team selection. Teams that characterize their trainers are always so much fun and I loved it whenever mainline Pokémon games did this sort of stuff.
VS. Temenos!
#8path tag#octopath 2 spoilers#octopath#ot2 au: pkmn#temenos mistral#also gave some of temenos' pkmn hebrew names since i hc him to be raised jewish in modern setting au's#so much lore. OTL. i'll get to the other travelers' deals eventually when i draw their teams but temenos' especially has a lot#i like him. and his little band of freaks

@goldenworldsabound @cobaltbluwu Short, spoiler free answer: people reacted disproportionately to a lonely, insecure middle schooler behaving like a lonely, insecure middle schooler when his feelings got hurt. The "I stand by my cancelled son" bit was meant to reference this post. 🌺
Longer answer with spoilers:
Towards the end of the DLC, Kieran snaps after the player bonds with and captures Ogerpon, a misunderstood legendary Pokémon that he idolizes and heavily relates to. Between the dead-eyed stare he gives you during his last battle, his overall team build (6 Pokémon who all have held items including a Shiftry with Wind Rider. My boy was out for blood.) and his last bits of dialogue in Teal Mask, it's heavily implied that he is going to have serious beef with the player in Indigo Disk.
I thought his arc was a cool take on the usual rival character progression, but a bunch of boring people thought that he was HORRIBLE and MENTALLY UNWELL, which. This is a child, please take several deep breaths
"I want mean rivals like Silver back! I want rivals that actually make me want to beat them!" Lmaoooooo, you guys can barely even handle what's going on with Kieran. I stand by my cancelled son. 🌺
#my text stuff#discourse tw#......is this discourse? i think this is more funny than anything else tbh. he's so sad and soggy.
