Just Chatting - The younger streamer/trainer in Hisui has so much meme potential and I love them so much. Especially with the reverse-adopting Ingo as an Uncle route. They try to ride a Garchomp down the slopes only to be scruffed by their jacket and lectured about 'safety protocols' and the like - Chat is roasting them throughout.

Thankfully, Ingo is at least experienced with dealing with shenanigans from the subway, even if he doesn't remember it. His scolding isn't harsh, but he does hammer it into the Hero's head that hey, this is a really bad idea.

And then he proceeds to tell you all the ways you could have gotten hurt. He won't skip the details.

If you want to play dangerous games, fine, but he will at least make sure you know what the dangerous prizes could be.

Emmet nearly sheds a tear watching the stream. His brother still remembers regulations and safety, even if he seems to have lost his memories.

All while your Garchomp is playing in the background while your phone gets the perfect view of you getting a stern talking to. Your chat is filled with mixed responses that slowly end up on Ingo's side as he goes into detail about how painful it is to set a broken bone.

Ingo may seem a bit strict about it, but he cares.

You get shit about it lovingly from your chat for at least a week though.

Random Streamer Ash thoughts.

The entire Charmander situation was streamed. Hell, even the down time in the Pokémon Center because might as well do a chill stream. Or, at least that was the intention before everyone learned that not did Charmander's trainer abandon him, but doesn't even care that if Charmander is still following his orders, he could DIE due to the rain. Anyways the rescue happens and the only reason Ash didn't end his stream during it and the time waiting in the reception room is because he knew his chat would kill him if they didn't learn if Charmander was fine as soon as he did.

By the time Sinnoh is over and done with chat just wants Ash to take a vacation because seriously WTF WAS EVEN HAPPENING IN SINNOH THEY SAW IT THROUGH A STREAM AND THEIR STILL CONFUSED-

Also there's a new appreciation for the Darkrai species after the events of The Rise of Darkrai. Same with Giratina. Dialga, Palkia, Shaymin and Arceus are on thin ice though. Albeit Arceus is a lesser extent because of the near death trauma.

Oh yeah Damien ends up in some Real Deep Shit, specifically Real Deep Legal Shit because there is no way that wouldn't count as criminal negligence at best and his confession and the resulting consequences for Charmander were all broadcast live. Not stopping the stream was half Ash being too focused on Charmander to even notice it was still running, half the rest of the group making damn sure they had the Receipts on Damien.

Thankfully for everyone's sanity there does seem to be some kind of gap between Sinnoh and Unova in canon as far as I can tell, and even with Immediate Zekrom it's at least more chill by comparison.

...And Then Suddenly Kalos (:

Yeah, a lot of the typical Pariah Pokemon (particularly the more "evil" legendaries but also 'mons like Absol or Venipede) get seen in a new light thanks to Ash. And the legendaries that actively cause problems or are just assholes definitely end up on a few shitlists. Though some of the Sinnoh ones are a bit complicated in regards to actually showing up in the streams at all because he can't exactly get an internet connection in the distant past or a collapsing space-time distortion bubble, plus the fact that nobody in the repaired timeline where Arceus didn't Start Shit remembers the Arceus Starts Shit timeline. The wifi does somehow work in the Distortion World though.

Also in defense of Shaymin as a whole it's just that one Shaymin that's a prick. Every other Shaymin both in the series and in that specific movie are perfectly pleasant and actually fit their title as The Gratitude Pokemon from what I remember.

Hero: “Omg, Dad! You don’t have to lecture me about fighting pokemon, I do it daily.”

Ingo: “… did you call me dad?”

Hero: “… I think I see a shiny gibble over there, BYE!” They say, running off in embarrassment while the chat mocks and teases them. Emmet realizing he might be an uncle now to someone who is basically as powerful as a god. Elesa fully prepared to spoil the shit out of her new niece. The hole world going feral about it.

You completely by accident create a new conspiracy.

All Ingo wanted you to do was go over your safety checks. Even the most experienced trainers can make fatal mistakes. He isn't sure why, but he feels like that is ingrained in his brain. As if horrifying incidents are on the tip of his tongue.

Perhaps its best if he can't fully remember, but he won't stop from making sure you are at least safe if you are going to be doing something ridiculous.

Though he is just as shocked when you roll your eyes and call him dad by accident. All thoughts about lecturing you are out the window.

"...Did you just call me dad?"

You pause mid speech, eyes widening and mouth open.

"Um... No?"

You don't even dare look at your chat on the Arcphone, which has sped up immensely at the slip up. You just knew you were going to have to turn off Text To Speech for a few days to avoid awkward questions. And what you assume is people laughing at you.

"Uhhhh I gotta go, there's an AlphashinypokemonsoillseeyoulaterbyeIngo!"

And off you run, summoning Braviary to run away faster from the embarrassment.

Meanwhile, everyone in your chat is instead asking if Ingo is your father. Emmet is being swarmed with clips of your stream as we speak. Elesa is trying to break into his house asking why he never told her she was an aunt and he was an uncle.

What I imagine the in a nutshell chat shenanigans during the Pokémon Movies are in the Streamer Ash AU.

First movie: Actual chaos because wtf is going on. Also chat gets traumatized when Ash legit dies for a moment.

Second movie: Also pretty much chaos, but also members of the chat realize that the prophecy is referring to Ash the actual person so now Ash is known as the kid and actual prophecy is about.

Third movie: Everyone is terrified of Unown now. (Also referencing the entire Larvitar arc, imagine if due to Unown being bullshit chat is able to see Larvitar's mindscape. And like, in their memories whilst Ash's phone is colorized, his screen is grey scale because people.)

Fourth movie: Someone realizes Sam is Professor Oak from the past at the end of the events of the movie and promptly tells everyone. Also everyone has a new appreciation for Celebi and Suicune. And Celebi's temporary death sure was traumatic!

Fifth Movie: Everyone is traumatized by Latios's death and it fucking shows.

Sixth movie: So the fake Groudon was certainly a thing. A thing everyone is glad was dealt with VERY QUICKLY.

Seventh movie: Due to Deoxys destroying the power supply chat did not know anything that was happening until the very end when the robots went berserk and now they have questions.

Eighth movie: Good news. Aura guardians now know Ash has a powerful aura and thus can help train him. Bad news, the entire thing at the Tree of Life is traumatizing as fuck.

Ninth movie: Chat is screaming at Ash to have a sense of self preservation, and also Manaphy is now the favorite Mythical Pokémon of many people.

Tenth movie: During the distortion bubble everything was cut out, but afterwards chat was filled in and now people have a new appreciation for the Darkrai species.

Eleventh movie: Shaymin's sass promptly becomes a meme, Giratina becomes wildly respected upon everyone learning this Legendary is ensuring their world doesn't break apart, and that's about it.

Twelfth movie: Chaos and confusion and chat becomes concerned upon realizing Ash, Brock, Dawn, and Sheena accidentally rewrote the timeline.

Thirteenth movie: Plus side. Grings' control over the news via editing is very hampered by real time streaming. Bad news, dude knows this and is actively trying to suppress this and kill Ash.

Fourteenth movie: Everyone was so, SO HAPPY when Victini was revealed to be alive.

Fifteenth movie: The general reaction is "So, that certainly happened didn't it?" And also there's a new wave of respect and fear of Kyurem.

Sixteenth movie: The reveal of a second Mewtwo gave long time watchers flashbacks, and also the one friendly Genesect quickly gets declared a bean.

Seventeenth movie: Pikachu's temporary death gave everyone trauma again. Also there's a new appreciation for Diancie.

Eighteenth movie: Everyone has decided Hoopa needs therapy after everything that happened.

Nineteenth movie: Everyone is happy that when everything was said and done things were relatively calm.

Twentieth and twenty-first movies: All chat knows is that things happened and that they'll be given the basics later.

Yeah these seem pretty accurate. Apart from 19 because that's the Volcanion and Magearna movie and giant death ray powered by Robot Soul is not at all calm. Though in the case of the final three movies (I Choose You, Everyone's Story and Koko), they're blatantly noncanon to the main timeline and thus also blatantly noncanon to the Streamer Timeline (unless I can find somewhere to sneak ES and Koko in, but given how heavily ICY relies on being an alternate interpretation of Indigo League it's definitely out)

Also there may be butterfly effects from the Streams being a Thing that affect what exactly happen in the movies, especially the later ones.

Ash after going on vacation from streaming to go on an adventure, then dying and coming back three times during, coming back to streaming: "Y'all won't guess what happened AGAIN during this times vacation!"

(dunno why but I'd like to think that in any pokemon world where Ash Ketchum is a streamer he's told his followers and subs about his deaths. So like him dying during vacation happens so often that there is now an emote for when he says it and the emote is just him in the family guy death pose)

It's consenually assumed that Ash is fibbing the 'death' count and legendary count, No one is THAT unlucky.

Ash ends up being known as the Exaggerator among the streaming community. Cancel culture left and right to take him off the platform because he's lying. But everytime you send a hate mob, Ash shuts that shit down fast.

"Just cause you guys don't believe in me, doesn't mean im lying." He scowls one day in the middle of a CraftMines game (tm). "Fuck off and eat shit, I just wanna play games, train and tell you all stories."

The scowl on his face ends up being a reaction meme for awhile, usually followed by *The only time i cuss.*

I just imagine in Kalos, Right after the Yveltal situation, he streams directly after it. It's only his face, but you can hear the hustle and bustle of the hospital works.

"Alright, Who bet on this one being worse, Pay up cause wowzers."

And the chat floods with

Wowzers?

Did he say wowzers?

Dude what drugs are you on?

Yo, are you in a hospital??

Motherfucker said "wowzers" okay old man.

"I'm on Morphine, and i took a pretty bad hit to the head, excuse me for being lingolistic of the last century." And the camera tilts before he rights it, just as pikachu comes onto the screen, looking battered and bruised and a helluva lot more gray than before that's only barely receding. "Why did i do this again? Oh- i was gonna say im gonna take a break from streaming for a bit."

"Why did you stream to say that then?" A voice offscreen asks. "Why not like, send a Pidge?"

"It's actually called Z now." Ash quips back and his eyes are closed. You can see the bruises underneath his eyes. "probably should of- i dunno Clem my head hurts."

"Okay, say bye then."

"Bye then."

The stream doesnt end right away, Ash sort of doses off with Pikachu nestling on his neck. His fur is noticeablly less gray, but no one will figure that out until they compare

At First, there are skeptics all around. Loads of people calling it a publicity stunt cause - who the fuck streams in a hospital for crisis sake!!! Theres like a hate mob for awhile, and his numbers drop wildly.

Until a video comes out, it's clearly a bystander that shows the blurry images of a Pokemon. You can see the camera desperately trying to focus but it can't. You can also see it attacking groups of people, so the camera focuses on them.

You can hear Ash screaming for his pokemon, for Pikachu, before the video cuts out.

The numbers sky rocket, abd everyone desperately awaits for the next stream. Except the Kalos League hapens, and they're all left in the dark until Ash goes back home to Kanto. His arm is in a cast, his face is bruised along the left side of his jaw, and his nose has a plaster over it.

"So." He starts the stream, smiling brightly. "Trainers and Entertainers, guess whose not dead!"

And the stream skyrockets to one of the most viewed for the time.

I went wild but like- thinking on it, Streamer AU has got me. XD
