I'm asking this because I, a cis-adjacent lgbt person and a trans ally, personally do not purchase new Harry Potter merch or anything else that will put a dime in JKR's pocket. I thought that was a relatively common mentality. But I have multiple trans friends who enthusiastically bought the new game and buy other new merch, so I'm wondering how the choice to boycott or not relates to the lgbt+ community.

Yes, I do know that it'll be difficult to get a completely accurate poll given that many people no doubt have Harry Potter blacklisted and therefore won't see it. But I'm hoping that I get a decent representation nevertheless.
