I remember finishing the final arc of haikyuu before the time skip, where they became second years and eventually third years, and got to the first chapter of the Brazil arc and being really really really confused. Bc wdym I didn't get to see third year kagehina being absolute freaks on the court? Wdym I didn't get to see ennoshita and yamaguchi my beloveds being awesome team captains? The long awaited date kogyo vs karasuno match that I was literally waiting for the entire manga just passed by in a flashback?? I wanted to see at least snippets of it, of the new and improved Iron Wall in an actual match and not the one off practice one we got and the quick mention of inter high. I was SO certain that the site I was using was broken (the desperation and panic and sheer confusion was pretty funny in hindsight looking back) and that there definitely has to be chapters missing but nope! That was it. It made me really upset at first and I couldn't continue for a couple of days lol. I'm obviously happy now with the content we got and it's understandable that furudate couldn't show us all of the second and third years (I genuinely did not understand why I thought the manga was going to show the entirety of the second and third years that would've taken another like 400 chapters) but some days I wake up salty that we never got to see a full, proper match with the older cast, ESPECIALLY KAGEHINA!!

I just need to rant here for a second because OH MY GOD-

Stars Align is so fucking incredible. By the end, tears were streaming down my face and i just screeched, “What the actual fuck?!” Because this anime sent me through the five stages of grief within the span of one season. These boys need new parents and hugs, and fucking everything. I would give them my soul, okay, that’s how much these boys need it.

The worst part is that no one and their fucking mother talks about this anime because the fandom is practically dead, but i want to rant to someone about this so badly. You have no idea the inner workings of my brain that go absolutely feral when someone even mutters, “stars align.”

YES. TELL ME ALL ABOUT WHAT YOU THOUGHT OF IT AND I WILL BREAK DOWN EVERY CHARACTER EVEN IF THEY ARE A PATHETIC EXCUSE OF A HUMAN BEING.

I will pull an Oliver Wood and try to drown myself in the shower if someone supports certain behaviors from the characters here.

ALSO, DID I MENTION THAT THERE IS A CANON NONBINARY CHARACTER?!

They are literally one of the sweetest fucking characters in stars align and i would hand them the goddamn universe if i could.

So, if you haven’t watched Stars Align(available on Hulu and Crunchyroll if we’re talking main streaming services) please invest your time to do so because you will not be disappointed.

There’s only one season because of budget issues(not enough streams was the problem I’m pretty sure), but holy fuck you will not be disappointed i swear.

Kenji cries, and complains when he's hungry... I keep forgetting he can feel negatively like this and I'm deeply upset with myself for that cause wtf. He's fourteen what was I expecting for a second there? He has all the right to be upset like this, his emotions are a very important aspect of his ability, so I guess that since his anger is felt on a higher level, sadness is felt similarly, but without the consequences. Can just imagine how he's feeling in the current arc? It's been at least two days since his last meal, this isn't going to end well.
