As some of you know, a group of very talented individuals I will refer to as "the avocado squado" and I have been working very hard on a Murderdock fan anthology. The book is nearly completed and will be sent to the printers for proofs soon! I'm very excited about this project and it's full of fantastic fic, illustrations, and comics and comes in at just around 100 pages. The physical copy will probably cost about $18-20 USD while the digital version will probably come in at $10-12. Proceeds will be donated to help recovery efforts after the Maui wildfires.

We're not doing a formal pre-order in hopes of expediting the process, but I'd love to have a general idea of how many people might be interested in purchasing a copy of this book. So please vote and reblog to help us get a larger sample size. (Formal promo post coming soon, this is just for my personal edification.)

ok so this is like, incredibly ambitious for a first time project and im more posting this for posterity than anything BUT

im planning on practicing my 3d modeling skills by modeling the objects from pokemon games starting from the most simple and [hopefully] ending up with more complex things like furniture and plushies found in the games [provided i can find the refs for them] and i was sitting here just now thinking "now what can i do with these props in the meantime while i try to figure out how to make my own pokemon game?"

WELL....

what about making a simple room designer game that brings back the base camp mechanic that Gamefreak abandoned a long time ago and uses said props? Would anybody be interested in following a project like that? :3c

Handmade TRoP (and maybe eventually LotR in general) character inspired keyrings and phone charms

Like these but trop and lotr characters (obviously), sword charms instead of guns and the bead colours will depend on the character

So I've been on a serious Vertigo comics kick for the last month or so, and, of course, Death of the Endless (along with some other characters) has stolen my heart, but it was when I was reading one of her appearances in The Books of Magic, that I started wondering about how Death feels about Superheroes. There are so many heroes who die and then come back to life. Like, does she have an exasperated "You again?" type of reaction to the superheroes dying, or is it kinda like her and Timothy Hunter where it's sort of like "So want to hang out while you're unconscious and basically on death's door?"

Anyway, I'm curious what you guys think. So here's a poll.

Okay so apparently it's fucking impossible to actually get real answers on this. So:

As I work through these smut prompts, I'm reminded that posting explicit fics generally halves one's average kudos percentage and does even worse to comments, which is a documented phenomenon across fandoms. Smut fics get MAD HIGH hit counts, but DEVASTATINGLY low kudos/comments. I'm more curious as to WHY this happens, so have a poll lol

Please explain in the tags because I very dearly wish to know some of the reasons that the interaction is soooooo bad on smut fics when they are, by and large, my HIGHEST hits across the board. Reblog for larger sample size!

whenever I take a train (whether that be a tube or long distance) I tend to sit on the floor if most seats are taken, I also sit down at the platforms if I have to wait for more than like 10 minutes

now I was wondering whether that is socially acceptable (in theory, not because I care) and since all of my friends are autistic and thus largely don't care about social rules I can't get straight answers
