I'm obsessed with the idea of Alastor and Lucifer being in a QPR but those two can't be normal about anything so instead of being in a queerplatonic relationship, they'd be in a queerplatonic RIVALRY
Idk how to explain but they'd have this immense queerplatonic tension between them that could have started as mocking politeness so they end up with like an increasingly intense angry-friendliness situation going on lmao
#hey fic writers#please let this inspire youuu#im dying AND living for this concept#op is always full of rage and vague queerplatonic yearning#shit i should tag that#queerplatonic yearning#there ya go#radioapple#appleradio#hazbin alastor#alastor#hazbin hotel lucifer#queerplatonic#hazbin hotel#lucifer morningstar#hells greatest dad

warnings: MDNI + AGELESS BLOGS DNI, f! reader, getting it from the back, unprotected p in v, jealousy (f! reader), pet names, mentions of starting a family :,) , satoru recording you (consented) other than that, half fluff & half smut hehe
popstar bf! satoru who writes (almost every) song about you because he can't help how head over heels in love he is with beautiful you.
popstar bf! satoru who begs for you to leave wine nude colored kisses on his cheek as a final accessory before he goes out on stage before every show, "pretty pleeeeeease my pretty girl? i can't perform yet until my signature accessory is on"
popstar bf! satoru who brings you to every show and whenever you aren't able to make it, makes one of his security guards record the whole thing for you to watch later.
popstar bf! satoru who is sure to mention you in every interview and talk show he's featured in & always make sure to let the world know how much you are his biggest inspiration.
popstar bf! satoru who has always been so so so grateful that you have been by his side for his entire dream and never gave up on him at all ever since he started writing music in the classrooms of jujutsu high.
popstar bf! satoru who knows there is always a fan or groupie around somewhere, everywhere that you and him go. he never lets it bother him because you, you are the only one he has his sights on and if anything, follows you around like some cartoon character floating behind you and drooling with heart eyes as if you're the popstar.
but the only problem?
is that you can't help but shake the feeling how much it pesters you when you can't even enjoy some personal time with him without some fan always trying to flirt and get in his pants right in front of you. you've always been so elated to see him get the recognition and praise he's worked so hard for when his precious fans come up to him and ask for a picture or autograph, but girls like this? you can't help but feel like crashing out because how known does he have to make it that he's all yours?? but don't worry because
popstar bf! satoru who is always so observant of you, notices when you start letting the bothersome fangirls and groupies get to your head. "princess, please don't let them mess with that pretty head of yours or worry about what they say about us, okay? i want you to always know that none of them has anything on you. it's always going to be me and you forever , and i'll do anything i can to show the world that."
and he's true to his words because backstage in the dressing room before his next show,
popstar bf! satoru has you in the mirror looking back at him in a state of bliss as he has your hair in a soft grip and sliding his thick and veiny length in and out of your dripping cunt. "it's all yours my pretty baby, i belong to you and you only." he heavily breathed in your ear.
and that's when a lightbulb lit up over his head.
he reached over for his phone that was by your hands holding onto the dressing room table for stability and opened up the voice memo app.
popstar bf! satoru who whispered in your ear, "you sound so beautiful taking this cock baby, surprised youuu aren't the popstar singer, g'nna make this the intro or background vocals to my next song mhmm." his charming words in your ear only made you more aroused than you already were and he felt it too, the way that your walls started to cling onto him like it didn't want him to ever leave or move. "ah!- fuck! don't worry baby i'm not g- going anywhere." he groaned in ecstasy as you watched him throw his head of fluffy, snowy, white hair back in the mirror.
popstar bf! satoru who is so pussy drunk off of you that he decides now is the time he wants to start a family with you. " 'm gonna give you a baby, you just f- feel so good, one wouldn't hurt right? p- please say yes mama" he started to pant. he was coming so close.
"mmh, y- yes 'toru, give it to me, fuck! i wanna have your baby!"
popstar bf! satoru who fills you up so much with hot, white ribbons of his seed at the same time as you spasming all over his length. once the both of you come down from your high, he cleans up your leaky mess with the warm moist towels provided in the dressing room, and you help him finish getting ready for his show.
popstar bf! satoru who watches you in adoration as you style his hair sitting face him on the vanity table, "let's start thinking of ways we can announce baby gojo!! what do you say? mommy?" as he kissed you on your tummy.
reblogs & likes are very much appreciated! pls don't copy or steal my works <3

⤠after he saved your life in a game you had no idea on how to play, you had to repay him. so you couldnât wait any longer the moment you both arrived at beach and into a room.Â
you drag him towards the bed and push it him down from his shoulders, he didnât even have time to react. just a small gasp and a unchanging expression with his eyebrows slightly raised.
ânngh right there dearâŚnnfhâŚâ chishiya whispered breathlessly, you continue to bop your head up and down, looking up at him as he covered his face with his forearm. âgonna make me cum already baby..â he whimpered, his hand gripping the edge of the bed. â..âust like that.â his head throwing back a bit.Â
your pretty mouth licking him off, your hands on his knees. humming and moaning softly on his cock. heâs mostly quiet besides his quiet groans. âmmh, mmffâggghhnâ you gag, trying to continue going fast. the blood splatters on him really added that bit of spice to his now flustered expression.
âshitâ! mmghâŚâ he murmured, âfuck, keep going,â he couldnât help himself, you felt so good around his dick, your tongue wrapped sloppily. itâs like youâve been waiting for this moment the entire time. his hips thrusting up, needing to chase that sweet high.Â
âslow down, yyeah?â his hand suddenly on your head and pushing you down, he lightly tugs on your hair. he wanted you to slow down but you just kept speeding up. his body twitching a little, he was becoming louder. his breathing became more shaky and now both of his hands on your head, pushing down and also tugging. âgonna-âŚshit- gonnaâŚâÂ
you had to make to make him finish, moving more faster. he couldnât even get words out from your fast pace.Â
âgonnaânnghh!âÂ
oh, how good he felt, pushing your head down as your eyes roll back. savoring him. he gasps and finally letâs go of you. he pants softly and gives his usual smug grin. âyouâre so good..â his cum spilling in your mouth and down your throat, you promised yourself to swallow everything, not to waste a single drop.Â
âthank you for this delicious mealâ you thought as you looked up at him with your big doe eyes that were filled with tears. you swore to make him feel good as payment for your stupidness in a life or death game.

Something youâll never know
synopsis: you and aeri were inseparable while you were growing up. Is that connection still there?
word count: 15k (jeeez) (it could've been 3 parts but I love you all so much so here you are)
cw: angst, cussing, drinking, f reader, childhood best friends to...(?) idk if there's any i missed please lmk!
notes! So sorry if its a confusing read with the timelines and such. the italic paragraphs are flashbacks/memories! for clarification Aeri and reader are ages 12, 22, and then 30 in this. It's inspired by the movie Past Lives (one of my fav movies, I recommend it!) barely proofread again, I also tried to add extra space in between different scenes, I hope it flows okay!
This is my first angsty fic ever but I had a lot of fun writing it! I really hope you enjoy it and if you'd like to, lmk your thoughts!!
as always dms and asks are always open!
xoxo love youuu (: <3
20 years ago in Southern California, SM Elementary School
Ever since you can remember, Aeri Uchinaga has been a constant presence in your life. You first met in preschool, where she quickly took a liking to you for reasons you couldn't quite understand. As a âslow-to-warm-upâ child, you were perfectly fine with doing quiet activities on your own while your classmates ran around, chatting amongst themselves. But Aeri must have seen you as a challenge or a game, maybe? She was determined to crack the ice and see what lay beneath your quiet exterior. She would always join you at the drawing table and start rambling about a variety of things that crossed her mind or even go as far as sharing her stuffed animals with you when she saw you playing âfamilyâ alone with your own.
And before you knew it, she had you hooked. Aeri was more outspoken than you at the time, and she often took the reins in your friendship, but you were (more than) happy to follow her lead. You quickly learned that she had a habit of charging in head first, and it became your unspoken mission to keep her from getting into too much trouble.
You promised yourself that you'd always be there supporting her from behind.
You dribbled the soccer ball skillfully toward the goal, weaving through defenders with ease. Just as you were about to score, a loud yelp from the basketball court made you stop dead in your tracks. Your hesitation cost you as a player from the opposing team slid in, tackling you. Pain shot through your leg as your planted foot twisted in a way that it should NOT twist.
You got up from the ground and ignored the pain as you waved to a classmate on the sideline to take your place on the field. You limped as quickly as you could toward the court from the field, fighting back tears. The adrenaline kept you moving.
Eventually you made it to the basketball court where Aeri was.
âAre you okay?â you asked as you reached a hurt Aeri, who was hissing slightly at the sight of her skinned knee. Almost every ounce of pain washed away when you saw her.
She looked up, surprised, as your shadow blocked the sun. To her, you probably looked like an angel.
âY/n,â she sniffled, âWhere did you come from?â
âI was just playing soccer,â you replied, kneeling in front of her and offering your back. âHere, hop on. Letâs get you to the nurse.â
âMm~ okay,â Aeri shyly mumbled as she climbed onto your back, resting her chin in the crook of your neck as you hobbled toward the infirmary.
âHow did you know I was hurt?â she inquired softly.
âI dunno, my Aeri instincts must've kicked in... But you do have a pretty distinctive scream that I could hear all the way from the soccer fieldâ You chuckled
âAh~! What!? Thatâs so embarrassing!â She buried her face into your neck. âWhy did you come over? You said you were playing soccer?â
âWell yeah I was, but remember when we were five and had our first sleepover?â you asked, chuckling. âYa know, the one where you couldnât stop crying because you missed your parents, especially your mom.â
âHey! Why bring that up now?â she groaned, playfully hitting your back with her fists. âIt wasnât my choice! My parents were busy with work, okay!â
âNono~ we made a pinky promise, remember? I told you, âIâll always be here for you, no matter what.â And I vaguely remember claiming Iâd be your prince or somethin' like that.. Iâm just keeping my word.â You smiled at the memory.
âThat was like seven years agoâŚI can't believe you even remember thatâ she sighed contentedly. âWell, thank you, my prince.â she let out a teasing chuckle
âOf course, Lady Aeri,â you replied in a playful, formal tone, adjusting her higher on your back with a little hop.
There was a small break of silence before Aeri took notice of the cadence of your steps.
â...Wait, are you limping?â Her tone suddenly turned serious, like a mother about to scold her child.
âUhâŚâ You hesitated, âNoâŚ?â you chuckled nervously hoping she'd drop the topic (she didn't).
She peeked over your shoulder and saw your left ankle, red and beginning to swell.
âAh~! What happened!? Let me down, I can walk! You idiot!â she exclaimed, trying to wriggle off your back.
âNo way! Weâre almost there anyways, and all this wiggling isnât helping the pain either!â you bickered with the girl on your back before finally reaching the school entrance.
After school, your mom tended to your hurt ankle. It wasnât anything serious, just a mild sprain. You worked silently on your assignment before she spoke up.
âY/n, honey~â your mom cooed before sitting down next to you at the kitchen table while you were doing homework. âWhat do you think about Aeri? Do you like her?â
âHmm,â You hummed while placing your pencil down as memories of her flooded your mind.
One specific memory came to the forefront of your mind,
You and Aeri were laying in the lush grass together with your heads touching and holding hands.
âAeri, look!â You pointed to the sky âI see a shark.. Or maybe a really big tuna?â a playful giggle escaped your lipsÂ
âMhm~!â she agreed, âLook over there! Doesnât that look like Haku from Spirited Away?â Aeriâs eyes widened in excitement as her favorite character appeared in the sky, her finger excitedly pointingÂ
âYeah! I think it does!â You stole a glance of her.Â
Her eyes were glued to the blue sky adorned with fluffy white clouds that looked like they felt like cotton candy. The sun reflected against her dark brown hair and made it look like a beautiful dark ocean rippling in the wind
It was a cool summer day. A gentle breeze wafted her scent of strawberry shampoo and a light rose scent from her deodorant. The sky stretched over both of you like a blue canvas with puffy cotton balls. The warmth of the sunshine wrapped the two of you into an embrace only you both could feel.
You stared at her with so much⌠happiness? While she pointed out various shapes, her face lit up more and more each time she spotted one
âWhat is this feeling?â You thought âIt feels like iâm going down a steep slope of a rollercoaster when Iâm around herâ
âHm~ Y/n? Is there something on my face? Did you hear me?â She briefly stopped her tangent when she felt a soft gaze.
âOh~! No sorry,â You giggled
âI- justâ you began barely above a whisper
âWow, look!â Aeri unknowingly cut you off âThose ones look like two hearts about to mash togetherâ she exclaimed giddily
Your gaze went back to the clouds and you paused for a few seconds causing Aeri to look at you
âWere you gonna say something?â She mumbled and you met her eyes
âIâm just.. Really happy right now!â you said, unable to verbalize the feelings you were having.
âI like herâ you replied to your mom
âOhh~âShe nodded in response before genuinely inquiring âWhy?âÂ
âWell⌠She said Iâm like her princeâ she responded to her mother so nonchalantly and innocently
âHer prince?â
âMhm, I think iâll marry her one dayâ You smiled before picking up your pencil again-- completely unphased.
âMm~ I see, I see. Well Y/n, does she want to marry you, too?âÂ
âI don't know if she likes me too, but if she does I know she'll say when weâre ready!â She smiled brightly at her momÂ
âAh okay~ When did you grow up my sweet daughter?â Your mom lightly pinched your cheek which caused you to giggle. âWell, I was on the phone with her mom earlier... Do you want to go on a date with her?"
Of course you excitedly nodded your head in agreement
You and Aeri stepped into the park, nature wrapped around you two like a comforting hug. The trees swayed gently in the breeze, their leaves left a playful pattern of light and shadows on the ground below. While birds chirped happily overhead, their songs blending with the soft rustle of leaves, creating a soothing melody that seemed to dance through the air. Both of your momâs made their way to a nearby spot to watch you bothÂ
âAeri! Letâs goâ You said as you grabbed her free handÂ
âOh~ Ma, can you hold these?â Aeri swiftly passed the small bouquet of flowers you had bought her to her mother before being whisked away by your eager pull
âOh!â was all Mrs.Uchinaga could get out before the two of you ran off exploring the park. She couldnât contain her laughter and began to take a digital camera out of her purse.
âThey look good together, so happy huh?â Your mom glanced at Mrs.Uchinaga as she was snapping a picture of the two of you running hand in hand in the luscious green field.Â
âYeah~ Aeri talks about Y/n a lot. She says she wants to marry her one dayâ Her mom let out an astonished laugh âWhen did our girls grow up?
âThatâs exactly what Y/n said! â She laughed, âWe canât be too surprised right?
"Ah~ I guess not." Aeri's mom began, "Remember that time we kept Y/n overnight once and Aeri was crying uncontrollably and then suddenly stopped? My god, it was so scary! I thought something had happened to her but when I checked the baby monitor, Y/n snuck out of her own crib and into Aeriâs! And then they fell asleep like that!â She laughed with a tinge of nostalgic sadnessÂ
âAhh~ They were about two and a half years old huh? Oh~! Remember that time I told you when I put them in charge of her brother while I was making them lunch and when I walked back into the living room and found all of them asleep on the couch with Kosei in between them! It was so cute~!â Your mom smiled brightly âI have the photo somewhere still!âÂ
Both you parents sighed contentedly, reminiscing on you two. After a bit of comfortable silence, you mom spoke up
âMy Y/n cares about Aeri a lot. I can see she does too, it puts my heart at ease to know my daughter has someone who cares so deeply about her.â Your momâs eyes began to get a bit watery
Mrs. Uchinaga placed her hand reassuringly over hers, a warm smile gracing her lips. "She's a smart girlâyou shouldnât worry too much. I'm forever grateful she's been in my Aeri's life. Look at them," she pointed affectionately at the two of you, nestled under the low-hanging branches of the weeping willow tree.
"Aeri! This is where we can take our shoes off," you exclaimed, gently parting the "curtain" of leaves as if entering a secret world.
Your imagination ran wild, the simple weeping willow tree transformed into a spacious apartment in a bustling city.
"And here is where our dining room is," Aeri chimed in, moving to the large stones and pretending they were seats. "Here, sit. Let me get you a coffee, honey," she playfully immersed herself in the game of house.
Aeri returned with a hollowed out rock with a stick in it, âHereâs your coffee!â
You pretend slurped through the stick straw, âThis is soo~ deliciousâ and you fake slurped more causing both of you to giggle
âHey, Aeriâ you placed the rock coffee cup down and Aeri joined you at the âdining tableâ
âWhere do you wanna live when you grow up?â you met her gaze
âMmm, definitely a city. I want my fashion business to be very popular!â She flashed a cheerful thumbs up âWhat about you?â
âMm..â You looked down, shyly contemplating
âAre you getting shy?!â She gently nudged your shoulder teasing you
âNono~!â You waved your hands in defense while a smile appeared on your face âHm.. I guess wherever you go?â
While you and Aeri played house, imagining your future together, your parents sat nearby on the park bench in comfortable silence, smiling as they watched the two of you. A gentle breeze drifted through, rustling the leaves and carrying the scent of blooming flowers through the air, adding to the peaceful moment.
âWeâre moving soon,â Aeriâs mom finally said, breaking the quiet. Which explained why she asked to take them on a 'date'
Your mom didnât respond right away, her gaze still on you and Aeri. After a few more beats, she spoke, doing her best to mask her emotions. âOh⌠where?â
âSouth Korea,â Aeriâs mom replied softly.
Your mom paused, her voice steady but tinged with sadness. âWhy leave everything behind?â
âThere are better opportunities ahead than the ones weâll leave behind,â Aeriâs mom answered with a quiet sigh, as if trying to convince herself as much as anyone else.
Later, on the car ride home, you and Aeri had both fallen asleep in the backseat, your hands still clasped together, oblivious to the change that was coming. Your mom glanced back at the two of you and with a bittersweet smile, she snapped a quick photo.
Neither of you knew how much your lives would change in the next few weeks.
You sat at your desk, your gaze unfocused as you stared blankly ahead, lost in a haze of thoughts that swirled around you like fog. Aeriâs voice cut through the noise, her laughter ringing out as she animatedly chatted with her friends nearby. Her vibrant energy filled the room, lighting up the space, yet somehow, it made the gap between you two feel even wider. You were in the same room, but it felt like you were worlds apartâboth of you in your own little world.
"You're leaving?" one of her friends exclaimed, disbelief in her voice.
"Yeah!" Aeri replied, her excitement unmistakable.
"Never coming back?" another girl pressed, curiosity laced her voice.
"I donât think so!" Aeri laughed, her tone light, almost carefree.
"What?! Why not!?" the girl pushed further, as if she couldnât fathom the idea.
"Well.. I could never become a fashion designer here!" Aeri giggled, like her answer was obvious⌠like she wasnât about to leave behind everything you had known together.
After school, you found yourself walking past Aeri as she waved her friends goodbye. Her cheerful farewell echoed behind you as you caught a glimpse of her. Her smile was as bright as ever, but for the first time, it felt distantâlike it no longer belonged to you.
"Oh, bye!" she called out to her friends, her voice cheerful before turning her attention to you.Â
"Wait up!" she hurried to catch up with your steps.
You slowed down slightly, but something in you hesitated.
"Oh, sorry," you murmured.
She quickly caught up and the two of you began the familiar walk home, the silence between you felt heavier than ever. Aeri seemed comfortable, at ease with the quiet, but for you, the weight in your chest grew with every step. Even though she was right beside you, it felt like she was already slipping awayâlike an invisible wall was growing between you, expanding with each moment.
It was disorienting, jarring even, to think that after today, she wouldnât be walking next to you every day like she had since kindergarten. Each footstep echoed what was coming, and despite the comfort of routine, the reality of her departure pressed down on you, suffocating the words you wanted to say but couldnât find.
The world around continued its hustle and bustle, completely indifferent to the storm brewing in your heart. Cars rushed by, bikes whizzed past, and people hurried along the sidewalk, insensitive to the internal chaos you were grappling with.
Every emotion flooded through you, leaving you drowning in a mix of sadness and anger. Each step felt trudging through quicksand as if your feet had been stuck in concrete. Your body was subconsciously pulling you away from your house to prolong your inevitable separationâ like a dog who doesnât want their walk to be over yet.
As you reached the fork in the road that diverged toward your respective houses, a heavy cloud hung above your head, thick with everything you wanted to say.
"Bye, n/n," Aeri's voice carried a tinge of melancholy as she began to walk away, her figure receding into the distance.
You paused, unable to tear your gaze away from her retreating form.
Every memory youâve shared with her played in your head like a movie montage.
âCâmon Aeri, donât be scared! Iâm right here with you!â You aggressively whispered while carrying a bag of snacks and a blanket, trying to convince Aeri onto the roof of your house
âWhat if we get in trouble? What if we get locked out and weâre stuck here forever!â Aeri said to you from inside through the opened windowÂ
âMy parents know I do this, itâs a flat surface so you have to be a real dummy to slip off! And donât worry, it only locks from the inside and if youâre scared you can just hold onto me!â You reached out your hand to Aeri
She couldn't help but smile, your own reassuring grin reflecting back at her. She warmly accepted your hand, her breath hitched when your hands made contact.
âO-oh thanks, letâs place the blanket down!â Aeri was glad it was dark because she was sure her face was the same shade as a tomato!
"Not too shabby, huh?" You chuckled lightly, settling onto the soft surface and patting the spot beside you, inviting her to join you.
It was a warm summer night. A gentle breeze wafted your scent of shampoo and a cologne-y scent from your deodorant. The sky stretched over both of you like a dark blue canvas with twinkling stars. The warmth of the evening wrapped the two of you into an embrace only you both could feel.
You felt her staring at you while you pointed out various constellations, your face lit up more and more each time you spotted one
âHm, Aeri? Did you hear me?â You briefly stopped your tangent when you felt a soft gaze on you
âOh~! No sorry,â Aeri giggled âWhat did you say?â
You scooted closer so your head was touching hers, âSee those stars over there? Itâs kinda like a weird looking 7?â You extended your arm while pointing, trying your best to point out three out of the millions of stars in the sky
âHm.. oh! Yes!â
âThatâs me! And your birthday is October 30 making you a Scorpio! and hmmâ You began to move your pointer finger to search in the sky
âAh! There! You see that pattern that kind of looks like a snake with claws?â
âYeah~ I actually do!â Aeri giggled as her imagination took over
âWell, Aeri if you ever feel sad or something and Iâm not with you for some reason â You chuckled sweetly. âI just want you to know that weâre always together in the sky!â You both turned to meet each otherâs gaze at the same timeÂ
âWell I donât think weâll ever get separated, I want to be with you forever!â She innocently beamed which caused you both to giggleÂ
âMe too Aeri!â
After a few hesitant moments, you found your voice, though it felt as if your heart might stop with the effort.
âAeri,â you called out softly, the word heavy with all the feelings you had kept buried for so long.
âMm?â She turned to face you, her expression softening when her eyes met yours, and the cheerful energy from earlier was nowhere to be found.
âI.. I like you,â you said, your voice trembling slightly, but you held her gaze, resisting the urge to look away. You felt as though you might crumble, but you forced yourself to keep going. âIâm glad we spent our childhood.. together.â
Her smile faltered, shifting into something sadder, something that you couldn't understand. She didnât respond immediately, as if the words youâd just said had stolen her breath, and for a moment, neither of you spoke. She was at a loss for words and the silence stretched endlessly between you.
You bit the inside of your cheek, trying desperately to maintain your composure. âBye⌠Aeri,â you added softly, your voice cracking ever so slightly as you turned away towards your house, trying to put on a brave face.
You couldnât bear to see the sadness in her eyes any longer. Tears threatened to spill, but you fought them back, willing yourself to hold on just a little longer.
âBye..â she faintly whispered out
The moment you started walking toward your house, your chest tightened. Tears streamed down your face as the weight of the world as you knew it came crashing down.
What you'll never know and what you couldnât see, was that Aeri began crying too.
About 10 years later, you sat at your desk in your cozy apartment room at UCLA, the late afternoon sun casting soft rays across the scattered textbooks and notes. With a sigh, you pushed some papers aside to rest your elbow on the desk, propping your chin on your hand.
âHow the actual fuck do I even solve this?â you muttered to yourself, staring at the confusing statistics problem on your laptop. After a moment of frustration, you searched for a tutorial on YouTube, hoping for a miracle.
As you scrolled through the list of videos, you could hear your roommate Yunjin bustling around in the kitchen.
âJennie-poo~!â you called out, leaning back in your chair. âCan you come here?â
A few seconds later, you heard your door creak open. "Huh?" came Yunjin's voice, her (dyed) red hair poking around the doorframe as she stepped inside.
âDo you have any idea how to solve this?â you asked, switching your browser back to the page filled with complex formulas. You pointed at the screen. âI seriously have no clue what theyâre even fucking askingâ
Yunjin leaned down, squinting at the problem for a moment before laughing. âYeah, Iâm gonna be honest with youâzero clue. Youâre so fucked,â she said, still giggling.
Yunjin, aka Jennifer, was from upstate New York, and the two of you had been roommates for four years. It felt like fate sometimesâbeing assigned to live together your freshman year was totally random, but she was practically you in a different form.
âYouâre absolutely no help,â you groaned, laughing a little despite yourself as you buried your face in your hands.
âYouâre so welcome,â she said, patting your head playfully. âIâm gonna make some jjajangmyeon, do you want any?â
âNot right now. Maybe save some for me later? I gotta finish this shitâ you replied, sitting back up and stretching.
âYeah, of course. Good luck!â Yunjin said with a wink as she left your room.
You sighed deeply as you turned back to your YouTube tab, clicking on a video tutorial. As fucking expected, an ad began to playâone of those painfully long ones you couldnât skip.
âDo you want to be a model? Do you think you have what it takes?â
The words faded into the background as your mind started to wander, pulled back by an unexpected memory.
Aeri.
It had been so long since youâd allowed yourself to think about her. Years, even. But something about the mention of fashion, pulled you back into the past. The past where she lived, where her dreams had once shone so brightly.
Aeri had always talked about becoming a fashion designerâabout where she'd live and make a name for herself. You could still picture her so clearly, sitting beside you, messily sketching her ideas in her notebooks. Dresses, bags, runway looks⌠She used to tell you all about it, her eyes lighting up with excitement.
âI could never become a designer here,â sheâd said once, laughing. She was always so sure of her path. Always ready to go after her dreams, no matter the cost.
She may have been right
Suddenly, the thought of her became overwhelming. You couldnât help but wonder what had become of that dream. Did she make it? Was she in South Korea, living the life sheâd always wanted? Or had things turned out differently?
Your fingers hovered over the keyboard as your mind drifted back to the memory of her laughter and the way sheâd talked about her plans with ABSOLUTE certainty.
Without thinking, you opened a new tab. You hesitated for a moment, a tightness in your chest returning.Â
A memory flashed into your mind to when you were having a sleepover with her
âY/nâŚâ Aeriâs voice came softly from the left side of your bed, sadness creeping into her usual playful tone.
âMm? Whatâs wrong?â you asked, glancing over at her.
âI wish you wanted to be a model,â she pouted. âThen you could try on the clothes I design.â
You laughed softly. âI mean, I still could... Why are you thinking about that now?â
âWell, obviously I want to be a designer! SO of course I want you to be the first person to wear the clothes I make,â she beamed, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
The video kept playing and the math tutorial began playing.Â
Why the hell am I thinking about that now? Itâs been like 10 years?
 Aeri UchinagaâŚ
You leaned back in your chair and positioned your head towards the ceiling
What are you up toâŚ
With a sigh, you slingshotted forward and opened Facebook and began to search.
After an hour of searching, you finally found a leadâher fatherâs company page. It was a bit tedious to find her or her family, considering they lived in a completely different country.
âHi, Iâm looking for my childhood best friend, Aeri Uchinaga . Please let me know how I can contact her.â
And with that, you posted the message and, for the first time in hours, tried to return to your homework.
A few weeks later, on the complete opposite side of the world at 5:30 PM in Seoul...
Aeri sat in her dorm, the warm afternoon sunlight streaming through the window as she lounged on her bed, phone pressed to her ear, laptop resting in her lap.
âNe~ umma, remember Xinyi? She plays basketball in college now!â Aeri said with a smile, scrolling through Facebook while chatting with her mother.
âWow~! Iâm not surprised,â Mrs. Uchinaga replied with a chuckle on the other end. âShe was always knocking on our door, asking you to play.â
Aeri laughed lightly. âYeah, even though I was pretty bad. She tried so hard to teach me, but I was just assâ
âItâs okay, darling. Sports werenât really your thing,â her mother comforted warmly.
Aeri absentmindedly scrolled through her feed, clicking on old profiles and updates from people she hadnât thought about in years.
âWho else should we look up?â She asked her mom.
Aeri paused, a small smile creeping onto her lips. âWhoâs the one I had a huge crush on?â
âY/n L/nâ they both said at the same time, sharing a laugh.
Aeriâs fingers hovered over the keyboard, and she began typing your name, curiosity piqued as she searched for her old crush. As she clicked through posts, she suddenly froze.
âUmma! This is crazy!â Aeri exclaimed, her voice full of shock. âShe posted on dadâs Facebook page a few weeks ago looking for me!â
âOh wow really? Well~ Iâm not too surprised, Aeri. She really liked you!â her mom replied, her voice filled with warmth.
âIâm looking for my childhood best friend, Aeri Uchinaga ...â Aeri read aloud to her mom as her eyes scanned the message.
Aeriâs heart raced as she scrolled through your profile. Even though your hair was longer and your features were more defined, the essence of youâthe same joyful glint in your eyesâhadnât changed at all. It was as if time hadnât erased any part of the person she remembered so vividly.
âUmma, Iâll call you back,â Aeri said quickly, cutting her mom off as she reassured her with a chuckle, âYes! I promise Iâm eating well!â
She ended the call with a smile, but her pulse quickened as she stared at the screen. Her eyes scanned the message again and again, as if reading your name over and over would somehow make this more real.
âAhh~â Aeri inhaled deeply, her fingers trembling slightly as she sent you a friend request and began typing a message to you.
âY/n! Itâs Aeri, you remember me?â
It was 1:30 AM in your on-campus apartment in LA when your phone buzzed, receiving the new message.
âFuck her! She doesnât deserve you! Youâre like⌠sooo out of her league,â Yuna mumbled to your other friend, Ryujin, as she poured another shot for her.
âRight?â Ryujin sighed before pausing to take the shot. âI just donât know why I miss her⌠so much,â she grimaced as the alcohol hit the back of her throat.
âRyu, you should have some water,â you slurred, hiccuping as you passed her your water bottle.
âY/nn~ how about you drink some water,â your roommate Yunjin chimed in, giggling as she slumped over on the couch.
The four of you sat in the living room, post-gaming the bar, waiting for your DoorDash to arrive. Ryujin rested her head in your lap, and without thinking, you rubbed her back to comfort her.
You took a long gulp of water with a satisfied âAh~â before reaching for your beer.
âWellll~ Beer is basically water. You should have some too Jennie-poo! It isnât a post-game if we donât drink till we die,â you exclaimed, taking a sip from the can.
âUGH~â Ryujin groaned, deadpanning, âI want to die~â
âGirl, she literally cheated on you and then wanted to be exclusive while she was fucking someone elseâlike, what?â Yuna added, deadpan.
That comment made all of you burst out laughing(she was right), even as Ryujin lightly punched Yuna in the arm.
âHey~! Be niceeee~ Show some compassion!â Yunjin scolded, trying and failing to stifle her laughter.
You were still chuckling when your phone buzzed again in your pocket. Grabbing it, you blinked a couple of times, trying to focus your eyes on the notification.
Giselle?
Your vision was still a little too blurry to make sense of it.
"Hey!" Yunjin faked being cold
âYou have a secret girlfriend or somethin'?â Yunjin teased, sounding just like a jealous girlfriend.
âHuh?â you responded, still distracted.
âWhoâs messaging you at 1:30 in the morning? You have a sneaky link youâre not telling us about?â Yunjin continued, laughing.
Meanwhile, Ryujin was still moping in your lap. âHey! Sensitive subject!â she groaned dramatically.
âFuck if I know, I honestly have zero clue,â you mumbled, your words slurring as you stared at your phone before turning it off.
The next morning, you woke up in your bed with a slight headache. You groaned, rolling over to reach for your water bottle and chugged it like it was the last water on Earth.
The cold water worked its magic, refreshing you enough to (barely) function. You grabbed your phone from the charger and started scrolling through your notifications, still half-asleep. But then, one notification made you freezeâlast nightâs Facebook message.
You clicked on it, your grogginess instantly fading as your eyes widened in surprise. It was from none other than the girl who made you experience your first instance of loveâAeri Uchinaga.
âGiselle Uchinaga?â you muttered to yourself, reading her profile in disbelief.
Thatâs why you couldnât find her! It made complete sense now. Her features were more mature, but that familiar smileâthe one that had always warmed your heartâwas still there, lighting up her face in every picture. You couldnât stop smiling as you scrolled through her photos.
Just then, Yunjinâs voice broke through your thoughts, pulling you back to reality.
âY/n! Are you awake? I made avocado toast and eggs!â she announced from the other side of your door.
âAhh~ okay, yeah, lemme pee and Iâll be out!â you called back, your voice still raspy from sleep.
You quickly splashed some water on your face and pulled on a pair of sweats and a hoodie before stepping out of your room.
âGood morning!â you chirped, only to be met with a synchronized groan from Yuna and Ryujin.
âHow the fuck do you have this much energy? What puts you in such a good mood?â Yuna asked, holding an ice pack on her forehead.
âHm?â you replied, walking over to your coffee cup on the table that Yunjin had filled for you. âThank Jennie-poo! And nothing, I just donât have a massive hangover like you two idiotsâshouldâve drank beer instead of taking shotsâ
As you sipped your coffee, your mind of course, drifted back to last night. That damn text from Aeri.
The two of you exchanged a few quick messages, exchanging numbers, and catching up briefly before settling on a time that worked best for both of you to video call. It felt surreal, reading Aeriâs replies after all these yearsâlike time had somehow folded in on itself, bringing the past back into the present.
You found yourself staring at your phone, the FaceTime app open and ready, but your heart pounding in your chest. What if things had changed too much? What if she wasnât the Aeri you remembered? What if you werenât the person she expected? Your thoughts spiraled as you adjusted your hair for what felt like the tenth time.
Itâs just a call, you reminded yourself. Itâs just Aeri. Youâve known her before.
But even though youâd told yourself that a hundred times, the butterflies in your stomach wouldnât settle. The phone buzzed in your hand as the screen lit up. Incoming FaceTime: Aeri Uchinaga.
You took a deep breath, your thumb hovering over the screen for a moment longer than it should have. Then, finally, you swiped to answer.
Aeriâs face appeared, pixelated for just a second before the connection stabilized. There she was. Her familiar eyes, her smileâthe same, but different? You stared at each other for a beat, neither of you quite sure how to start.
Aeri broke the silence with a nervous laugh. âWow.. itâs been so long. I almost forgot what you looked like!â
You smiled, feeling the same rush of emotions you hadnât felt in years. âI know right? I wasnât sure what to expect either. You look⌠different. In a good way, of course.â nervousness still present in your voice
âSame to you,â Aeri said, her voice softening as she studied your face. âItâs like, youâve changed, but... not really, you know?â
You laughed, the tension beginning to ease. âExcept now youâre Giselle, huh?â
Aeri grinned, rolling her eyes playfully. âYeah, thatâs a long story. But trust me, itâs still me. Aeri Uchinaga at heart.â
You both chuckled, the ice slowly breaking as the conversation started to feel more familiar. It was strange, seeing her face again like this after so many yearsâolder, more mature, but still with that same smile.
âSoo.. Youâre really out there becoming a designer, huh?â you teased, shaking your head with an incredulous smile. âItâs kind of wild thinking about you... you know, living in Korea and actually doing all the things you told me you would like years agoâ
Aeri laughed, her tone warm but modest. âDonât let social media fool you. Iâm not as glamorous as it seems. Iâm still the same girl who couldnât shoot a basketball to save her life.â
You grinned, shaking your head. âOh god yeah! I remember! You were sooo bad. I thought for sure you were going to quit after that first fall.â
âWhatever! I literally was just trying to impress you,â she joked, her laugh lighting up the screen.
With each passing minute, the conversation felt easier. The laughter flowed naturally, memories of your childhood together resurfacing as if no time had passed at all.
âSo... how have you been, really?â Aeri asked after a while, her tone more serious now. âI feel like I missed so much. of your life"
You nodded, the weight of the years between you sinking in. âYeah, it feels strange, I feel the same too. Iâve been good, I guess. But seeing you like this⌠I dunno.. It feels like yesterday, you were just that little girl on the other side of the road from me.â
Aeri smiled, her expression softening. âRight? I donât know, life is so weird sometimes.â
âYeah,â you agreed, a small smile tugging at your lips. âAnd now, youâre the girl on my screen.â
As the night went on, you both talked about everythingâyour lives, your dreams, the things you had wanted to say but never got the chance to. It was like reconnecting with a part of yourself you thought youâd lost. By the end of the call, there was an unspoken understanding between you both. This wasnât just a one-off conversation.
âSo, letâs not wait another decade to do this again?â you said with a grin.
Aeri laughed. âDeal. Next time, Iâll tell you the full story behind âGiselle.ââ
âIâm holding you to that, Aeriâ you replied, your heart feeling lighter than it had in years.
And thatâs how it was. For a few months, you both shared everythingâyour days, your worries, even the smallest details. You started waiting for her calls, looking forward to the time youâd spend talking. She was always there, her laughter filling your nights(and early mornings!), making you feel closer to her despite the distance.
It was almost as if you were in a relationship. The way she looked at you through the screen, the way your conversations lingered on hopes and what-ifs. You could almost imagine what it would be like to be with her again, for real.
You routinely called Aeri during your day.Â
Hey,â you greeted with a smile as the screen connected.
âHey,â Aeri chuckled softly on the other end.
âIs it 7:00 in the morning there? I thought you said you never wake up before 10:00,â you teased, noting how early it was for her.
âI donât,â Aeri replied, a smile tugging at her lips. âBut this was the only time that worked for you, right?â
âWell yeah but donât you have class today?â you asked, raising an eyebrow.
âYeahh~â she admitted, âbut itâs later~â sleepiness still evident in her voice
You couldnât help but tease her. âYa know Aeri, your english is pretty rustyâ
âHey!â Aeri chuckled in return and her eyes opened slightly. âI only speak English with you and my mom!â
You both laughed yet some silence strung between the two of you
âSo, you said you were leaving California to be the worldâs greatest designer... You still want that?â
Aeri paused for a moment while shifting in her bed, then smiled. âHmm... I think maybe Iâll have a business like.. My own line of clothesâ
âAhh wow~â You sighed, â Youâre the same Aeri I remember. Wanting to do everything, have everything and also still so sassy.â you teased again
She laughed, feigning shock. âSassy? Wow, canât believe you think of me like thatâ
Aeriâs grin widened before continuing, âActually... I got invited to Japan this summer to design for this brand for a whole month. My professor helped me get into the program!â
âWait, so youâll be in Japan for a month?â you asked, surprised. âThatâs amazing.â
âYeah,â Aeri nodded, her excitement palpable. âItâs crazy. I canât believe itâs happening.â
âSo, how are your applications going?â she asked, her voice softening.
âHmm, wellll~ theyâre going,â you replied with a small smile. âIâm looking at Boston for grad school.â
Aeri sighed, a hint of nostalgia in her voice. âAh wow, look at us.. when did we grow up? It feels like weâre almost... truly adults.â
âHmm, I know,â you agreed, a thoughtful pause hanging between you. âToo soon though.â
You hung up shortly after and went about your day. You studied with Yunjin, and later, the girls came over for dinner, followed by a late-night study session. By the time you showered and finally settled into bed, it was already 1 AM when your phone buzzedâAeri was calling.
âHello?â You mumbled out as you turned your lamp on
âOh sorry, were you sleeping?â she asked, her face slightly blurry on the screen.
âMm,â you sighed softly, rubbing your eyes. âNo, I just got into bed, actually.â
âLong day?â
âMhm, but thatâs alright. Whatâs up?â you asked, shifting into a more comfortable position and reaching for your glasses.
âIâm just.. in Haebonchang right now,â she said, flipping the camera to show the view. âLook how beautiful the sunset is, Y/n.â
The sunset was breathtaking, shades of pink, orange, and purple blending into each other like a painting across the sky.
âWow... itâs beautiful, Aeri,â you said in awe.
Aeriâs voice softened before she flipped the camera back to herself. âYeah... I wish you were here,â she said quietly, her eyes flickering between the camera and the fading light.
There was a pause, her words lingering in the space between you.
âMaybe one day.. We could go there together,â you whispered, your voice tinged with sadness.
âYeah.. Iâd really like that,â Aeri responded, her tone gentle but carrying the weight of something more.
There was a brief second of silence. As if both of you were hesitating to speak up.
âI miss you,â you whispered, barely audible, your voice filled with longing. Time zones didnât matter, distance didnât matter. You really just longed for Aeri.Â
Those three words heavily hung in the air between you two.
âI miss you too,â Aeri quietly admitted, her voice soft but sincere, resistance evident in her confession.Â
The day after that interaction, things started to feel different. The FaceTime calls slowly became more sparse, and her texts were less frequent. You tried not to overthink it, giving her the space you thought she might need. But as the days passed, the silence began to weigh on you. Eventually, you double texted her, unable to ignore any longer.
âAeri, is everything okay?â
For the first time in days, her response came instantly.
âYeah sorry, Iâm okay. I just have something on my mind. Can we call later?â
Her words did nothing to ease your nerves.
âOf course,â you typed back, keeping it simple, though your heart raced.
The uncertainty gnawed at you, the anxiety tightening in your chest as you stared at the screen.
Finally, what felt like days but in reality was just a few hours, Aeri called you.
You hesitantly answered âHey Aeri, you okay?â
There was a pause, and thatâs when you knew it didnât seem promising.
âY/n,â she began softly, her face on the screen appearing hesitant, almost conflicted.
â..Aeri?â you prompted gently, your voice unsure now.
She sighed deeply, her gaze dropping for a second before meeting yours again. âY/n⌠I need to talk to you about something.â
Your heart skipped a beat. âYeah I know, whatâs going on? You okay?â
âWhen is it possible for you to visit me in Seoul?â she asked bluntly, though her tone remained soft.
You hesitated. âWell, maybe about a year or so? Just with grad schooââ
She cut you off gently, âI know.. You donât have to explain yourself, I justâ God,â She paused as if holding herself back from admitting something. âItâll be over a year and a half until I can visit youâ
Your eyes stayed glued to the screen, watching her struggle to compose herself. The pit in your stomach deepened
Aeri swallowed hard, clearly struggling with her next words. âI think we should stop talking for a whileâ
Your chest tightened.
 âWhy?â
âI came here..â She began, â Noâ Iâve had this goal since forever. I want to accomplish something here but.. I canât stop myself from looking up flights to California every day.Â
And I think⌠I think I need to focus on committing my life hereâ
You blinked, the realization slowly sinking in. She was leaving again.
âSo you want.. to stop talking to me?â Your words trailed off, unsure of how to finish that thought or if thereâs anything more you could possibly say.
âJust for now,â she said quietly, her eyes softening with what seemed like guilt. âAnd I really donât want to lose you. But I know.. I have to give this my all.â
You bit your lip, trying to keep the lump in your throat from forming. âAeri.. It took me 10 years to find you.âÂ
She looked down again, exhaling slowly trying to fight a sob from coming out. âI know Y/n, but Iâll be back before you know it.. Itâs just a brief breakâ
Fuck
You nodded slowly, though your heart ached. âAlright then Aeri â
âIâm sorry.â Her voice was barely above a whisper now. âIâm so sorryâ She began to cry.
âNo need to be sorry,â You said as you choked back your own tears, clearing your throat to cover it. âWe werenât dating or anything so donât worry about it. Really.â
There was a long pause, the silence between you filled with all the things neither of you were ready to say.
âTake care of yourself and good luck, okay?â Aeri said, her voice soft but final.
âYou too,â you replied, your throat tight, the words barely escaping. âIâll be right here.â
The call ended, and for the first time in months, the silence felt unbearable.
Aeri never knew that this was the hardest you cried in years.
Whoever said times heals everything, is a straight up liar. Time doesnât heal, it just lets you get used to how things are now.
It had been about eight years since you had last spoken to her and honestly, you didnât think much of Aeri anymore. Life had moved on, as it does. Although, there were days when youâd think back on everything but those thoughts were extremely rare now, fleeting, like a distant memory and it didnât sting the way it used to. Youâd convinced yourself that was just how things went. People come and go, and life moves forward whether youâre ready or not.
Once you graduated and started your new job in Boston not long after. You settled into a routine that felt strange at first but eventually became your new normal
Somehow, you managed to entice Yunjin to move to Boston. She had moved into a place not too far from yours with her (now!) fiance. Her sister also lives in Boston too so the transition wasnât too hard. Yuna and Ryujin had ended up in New York, so weekends/every other weekend often meant catching a train to visit them or planning get-togethers whenever everyoneâs schedules aligned.
Your 9-to-5 job wasnât glamorous, but it was steadyâsomething you could rely on. You fell into the rhythm of it quickly enough. The crowded subway rides during rush hour, the packed streets of Boston, the distant hum of the city became part of your daily routine. Youâd slip into your office, get your work done, and slip out at the end of the day. It wasnât what you imagined back when you were chasing dreams in California, picturing something a little more exciting, maybe a little more daring. But it wasnât bad eitherâit was.. just comfortable.
After work, you'd sometimes grab a drink with coworkers or meet up with the woman youâd met shortly after getting into grad school. There was nothing too serious between the two of you, just the occasional dinners or casual hangouts. She was fun to be aroundâeasygoing, good company, someone you could relax with. Youâd meet up after work at a bar downtown, sharing a drink and small talk about your days. Or sometimes, youâd catch a movie or grab takeout, sitting side by side on the couch in her small apartment, talking about work or random things that made you laugh.
It wasnât the life-altering-head-over-heels kind of thing, but it felt normal, almost comforting. There was no pressure to be anything more than it was or used to be, and that was fine with you both. Life had settled into place without much fanfare, a quiet routine that you didnât mind..
It wasnât until one quiet evening, after a long day at work, that something finally disrupted your routine. You were sitting on the couch, nursing a beer, and scrolling through your phone without much thought, letting the noise of the day slowly fade away.
That was until a notification lit up your screen. You glanced at it out of habit, not expecting anything important. But the name made you pause.
Aeri Yizhuo.
Who?
Aeri
Your heart skipped a beat as recognition clicked into place.
Oh, for fuckâs sake.
For a second, your heart skipped a beat. You stared at the message, the familiar feeling creeping back into your chest, one you hadnât felt in ages. You hadnât thought of her in so long, and yet, there she was. After all this time.
And then, the truth hit you like a punch to the gut.
Aeri was married now.
You felt the sting of it, sharp and unexpected, cutting deeper than you wouldâve liked to admit. It shouldnât have hurt this much. You hadnât thought about her in so long as you knew sheâd been building a life in Korea. You had moved on! Or at least, thatâs what you told yourself.
But here she was, after all these years she still had the ability to make you feel something. A feeling couldnât quite put your finger on.
After all this time, part of you had still hoped for something. For something more than this.
About a month or two after your surprise catch-up with Aeri, you finally decided it was time to visit her. The timing was perfectâit was the end of the fiscal year, and you had some extra days off to use. You figured, why not? It would be a good vacation right? The thought of seeing her after all this time felt surreal, but exciting in a way you couldnât quite describe. Youâd booked your flight, set to leave next weekend so you and your friends decided to meet this weekend.
"So," Yunjin piped up, setting down her shot glass with a grin, "Why are you going to Korea?" You, Yunjin, Yuna, and Ryujin were all seated in Yunjin and Kazuha's shared apartment, a half-empty bottle of vodka in the middle of the table while your beer cans scattered around your side.
"She's going to see that girl, rememberrr?" Ryujin teased, her tone playful.
"Who?" you replied, pretending not to know who she was talking about.
Ryujin rolled her eyes, clearly not buying it. "Don't play dumb, idiot. You know exactly who I'm talking aboutâyour first love, right? I thought she lives there, doesn't she?"
"Oh, I see how it is," Yuna chimed in with a smirk. "You just broke up with your girlfriend so you could go see her, huh? You dog"
"What! Iâm going for vacation," you exclaimed, shaking your head. "And plus, you guys are crazy. She's married now."
"WHAT? Seriously?" Yunjin blurted out, her voice incredulous.
"Mhm," you nodded, your tone more casual now though it stung to admit it. "For like five or six years now"
You couldnât even bring yourself to feel bad about it. After all, from your previous conversation with Aeri, it was clear how happy she was. Sheâd met her wife, Ning Yizhou, during her design trip in Japan. Aeri had described Ning as an absolutely beautiful soul, someone kind and supportive. They both work together now, running Aeriâs business, Giselle.
From the way Aeri spoke about Ning, you could hear the genuine love and admiration in her voice. There was no bitterness in your heartâhow could there be? You were happy for her, happy that she had found someone who brought light into her life, someone who shared in her dreams.
In fact, you were proud of her. She really did accomplish everything she had set out to do. It was bittersweet, of course, but you were genuinely happy for her.Â
Thatâs all that mattered.
Right?
You stood just outside of Incheon International Airport, the thick scent of rain mingling with the smoke from your cigarette as you waited for your Uber. The weather had suddenly turned gray the second you had landed, casting a quiet gloom over the city, the kind that sinks into your bones(What a great sign, huh?). Raindrops softly patterned on the sidewalk while you took another slow drag, the smoke curling up into the damp air.
The second you crushed the cigarette beneath your shoe and bent over to pick it up, a car pulled up in front of you, headlights cutting through the misty rain. You quickly threw it in the appropriate spot in the trash can and opened the back door, climbing in with a sigh.
âAnnyeonghaseyo~,â you greeted the driver in your best (broken) Korean, trying to remember the phrases you had studied years ago for Aeri.
The driver smiled politely in the rearview mirror, his eyes crinkling with amusement. âAh, I also speak English. Are you going to the hotel?â
You felt your cheeks flush slightly, nodding as you let out a small, relieved laugh, âYes, please!â lowering your head in a polite bow.
The car slipped into the rainy Seoul night, the city lights blurring through the raindrops on the windows. The sound of rain hitting the roof of the car was soothing. Your eyes traced the streets as you drove deeper into the heart of the city. The roads were wet and glistening, the neon signs reflecting off the slick pavement, painting the night in hues of red, blue, and green.
The drive felt longer than it was, the beautiful city of Seoul was a lot to take in. Finally, you pulled up to the front of your hotel, the bright lights of the entrance cutting through the rain. The driver helped you with your bags, and you handed him some Won with a shy bow and a âgamsahamnida,â before heading inside.
Checking in was a blur of polite smiles and hurried conversations with the hotel staff. Before you knew it, you were standing in your empty room, the door clicking shut behind you with a finality that made the space feel even bigger.
The rain had picked up, drumming harder against the window. You crossed the room slowly, setting your bag down by the bed before making your way to the large floor-to-ceiling window that overlooked the city. The lights of Seoul stretched out before you, and they were incredibly bright.Â
A reflection of your younger self flickered in the glass, dim and blurred by the raindrops. It was as if your inner child was staring right back at youâsmiling brightly in those stupid colorful shorts your Mom loved to dress you in with a big toothy grin stretching across your face.Â
As quickly as she appeared, she vanished. Then reflected back was an almost unrecognizable adult. It was you. The light in your eyes was still prevalent, but it just wasnât as bright as it used to be. Years must have dimmed that spark and softened the edges of the person you once were.
You leaned your forehead against the cool glass, watching as your breath fogged up the window. The city below pulsed with life, its bright lights and movement carrying on unaware of your inner turmoil.
In that moment, surrounded by the bright lights of a city that was so beautiful and full of life.
You had never felt more alone.
Some bridges in Korean folklore represent reunion and enduring love, like the Magpie Bridge, where separated lovers meet once a year to reaffirm their bond. Others, however, represent a fleeting reconnectionâbrief moments that canât last, like this one.
The next morning, you got ready and made your way to Seonyudo Park Bridge, a location Aeri had sent you earlier. The sky wasnât rainy (luckily) and the soft hum of the city seemed distant as you stood at the edge of the bridge, anxiously watching pedestrians and tourists bustle around. Snippets of Korean and bits of broken English floated past you as you nervously fidgeted with the strap of your tote bag.
You shifted your weight, glancing around, when a voice called out, one you hadnât heard in person in years.
âY/n!â
Your head instinctively turned.
Suddenly, in front of you stood a child. She wore jean shorts, a Hello Kitty shirt, and had medium length black hair. Her smile was bright, lighting up her entire face, and her eyes sparkled with a familiar excitement.
It was a smile you could recognize anywhere.
For a moment, you were transported back in time. There she wasâAeri, as you remembered her as a child, standing on the other side of the bridge. You froze, staring in disbelief as the vision of her younger self ran toward you, wide-eyed and full of life. It felt so realâthe way she moved, the way her smile hadn't changed.
But then you blinked, and the vision vanished and adult, present time Aeri was just walking toward you. She looked differentâgrown up. Her hair had grown longer, her figure more filled in, and her features had sharpened with time. But that damn smile, the way her eyes crinkled in the corners when she smiled, was exactly the same as you remembered it from 20 years ago.
Without thinking, your body moved on its own, a shy yet goofy smile creeping across your face as you walked toward her. Your strides were longer, more eager, and you met her about three-quarters of the way across the bridge. You met her where she was.
Now standing just a foot apart, neither of you spoke at first. You both stood there, taking each other in, as if afraid to break the fragile moment. Aeri was still shorter than you by a couple of inches, and she was dressed in a sleek black leather jacket with gray slacks that made her look effortlessly beautiful.
You looked down at her, your heart racing, and for a few seconds, the world around you seemed to fade away. The silence between you wasnât awkwardâit was heavy, but not uncomfortable. It was the weight of everything left unsaid, everything that had built up over the years.
Finally, Aeri sighed softly, her eyes locked on yours, and a smile tugged at her lips. âWow~,â she whispered, looking up at you with a mix of awe and warmth.
She surprisingly embraced you in an unexpected hug. Your hands hovered, ghosting across her sides.
âI missed youâ She muffled out on your shoulder
You didnât respond.
You both pulled back from the hug, standing there, just staring at each other. There was something almost surreal about itâthe way you both remembered each other so clearly, yet in this moment, you felt like strangers, familiar but somehow unrecognizable.
âYou look amazing,â you croaked out, your voice betraying the flood of emotions. âYouâve changed but... you havenât? If that makes sense.â A nervous laugh escaped your lips.
Aeri lowered her head, letting out a soft, breathy chuckle. âI could say the same to you... When did you get so tall?â
You shyly smirked âI think youâve just always been short.â
âAh~ so you havenât changed at all. Still so~ annoying,â she teased, her laugh infectious.
The laughter faded, and a comfortable silence settled between you both as you took each other in again, the weight of time pressing gently on the moment.
âSo...â Aeri smiled, her eyes crinkling at the corners. âYou wanna go? Iâve got a few places planned for us.â
âYeah, of course. Letâs go,â you replied, and without another word, you followed Aeri much like a dog
The Han River has long been a symbol of flow, change, and life in Korea. Flowing water symbolizes the constant change in ones life.. theyâre moving in different directions, but still connected in some way.
The walk wasnât far, but neither of you spoke at first. Aeri led the way and you followed, both of you too shy to break the silence. Finally, she guided you to a quiet spot near the bank of the Han River, the water glistening under the dim light of the overcast sky.
âHowâs here?â Aeri finally spoke, settling down near the waterâs edge.
âMmm,â you murmured, nodding as you sat beside her. The lush grass below you.
You both sat quietly, watching the water, the silence growing heavier with unsaid words.
âWas the last time we talked really eight years ago?â Aeri sighed, breaking the silence again.
âI think so? Weâre 30 now... So, yeah, I guess it was,â you said, turning your head slightly toward her. âFeels weird huh?â You gave her a little half smile.
âWow...â she whispered, her voice carrying the weight of those lost years.
After a brief pause, she added, âYou know.. before I got married, I went to New York with my wife.â
âI know.â
âI sent you a message on Facebook, I didnât know if you had changed your numberâ she continued, smiling softly but with a hint of sadness in her eyes. âBut you didnât respondâ
There was another pause. It felt like she had more to say, so you stayed quiet, waiting.
âI wanted to see you,â she admitted quietly. âI was disappointed.â
âIâm sorry,â you said, your gaze fixed on the water, avoiding her eyes. There wasnât much else you could say, something was hanging in the air between you.
Aeri shifted, her tone changing slightly. âWell, I also wanted to meet your girlfriend. How are you guys doing?â
âWeâre not together right now,â you admitted.
âOh, Iâm sorry... I didnât mean toâ wait, did you break up?â she asked, concern lacing her voice.
âOh well no, I don't know, weâre just... in a weird spot right now. She wants to get married but...â
âBut you donât?â Aeri asked, cutting through your hesitation.
âYeah it's just, I donât know, itâs just... complicated,â you sighed, trying not to reveal too much, keeping your emotions in check.
âWhatâs complicated?â she pressed, her voice direct, almost matter-of-fact.
You chuckled lightly at her tone. âIâm still paying off my student loans. I just donât want my wife to carry that burden, you know? Boston is expensive enough as it is...â It wasnât entirely a lie. But deep down, you knew there was more to your hesitation than just the financial part.
âI just feel like she deserves someone better than me. Weâve been together but.. not really together for so long... She deserves someone who can give her what she wants. Someone... less ordinary and..â
âOrdinary?â Aeri interrupted softly, her voice filled with disbelief. âYouâre far from ordinary, Y/n. You know youâre...â she trailed off, as if catching herself before saying too much.
You gave her a small smile, ignoring her hesitation. It was clear neither of you wanted to dig into old feelings, not yet, maybe even never. There was too much that both of you were avoiding.
âSo, howâs work?â you asked, gently steering the conversation away from the tension that had built up. The question felt like a safe place to land, something casual and mundane.
Aeri smiled, seeming to relax a little. âBusy, as always. Giselleâs doing well, though. Itâs everything I dreamed of... and more stressful than I imagined.â
âThat sounds about right,â you chuckled, the heaviness between you starting to ease. âBut, I knew you could do it. Iâm really proud of you, Aeri.â
Slowly, the awkwardness began to dissipate. You found yourselves laughing about silly memories from when you were younger, filling in the gaps from the eight years you had missed.
Aeri told you about the ups and downs of her business, her wife, her travels, and the unexpected ways life had changed her. You shared stories of grad school, your friends, your job, and the quiet moments of your own life that had shaped you. It was easy to get lost in the rhythm of it, the back and forth, as though no time had passed at all.
Before you knew it, the sun had started to dip, casting soft shades of pink and orange across the sky. .
âRemember that one time when you feââ
Your stomach grumbled loudly, cutting through Aeriâs story
âOh my god, are you hungry?â Aeriâs eyes widened with concern.Â
Oh, no Iâm fine, really!â You tried to assuage but of course she did not relent
âNo itâs okay, I could eat too. Letâs go get some food, thereâs a great to-go spot nearby, and then Iâve got one more place I want to show you.â
She was already on her feet, tugging at your sleeve before you could even think to protest. Not that you would, of course.
You chuckled softly, offering a simple, âAlright,â as a smile crept onto your face. It just felt so natural. Aeri was still the same, always charging ahead, her excitement infectious, leading you from behind as she had so many times before.Â
Some things really never change.
Soon, you both arrived at a cozy 24-hour convenience store, the kind that makes it fresh right there. It was small and tucked away, but the smell of freshly made meals greeted you the moment you stepped inside. You ordered an onigiri, feeling like thatâs all your stomach could handle after such a day like this.Â
You unwrapped it and took a bite, savoring the simple comfort of the food, but before you could settle in, Aeri was pulling you along again, her food in hand, excitement bubbling in her voice.
âLetâs go, the bus comes in three minutes!â she said, glancing at her phone with a grin.
You both made it onto the bus(after scarfing down your rice ball) barely just in time. With no seats available, you were left standing together, holding the same pole.
Strangers pressed in around you, the sounds of conversation and the hum of the city filling the space. But in that moment, it felt like it was only the two of you in the world.
Your fingers brushed against each other, but neither of you moved. The silence stretched between you, not awkward, just heavy with all the years missed.Â
You met Aeriâs gaze, and for a brief second, it felt like time slowed.Â
The bus glided (not) smoothly through the city streets, and yet the tension between you was almost tangible. Your mind raced with everything you wanted to say, but none of the words seemed right.
"Aeâ" you started to say, but before the words could form, Aeri cut you off softly.
âOh, weâre here,â she said, her voice gently pulling you both back into the present moment.
The bus came to a stop, and you followed her out, stepping into the cool evening air. The two of you walked side by side, the quiet comfort between you settling in again as you made your way toward Namsan Tower, known for its Love Lock Bridge.
âDo you want a picture?â Aeri asked, breaking the silence. âIt is your vacation, right? I feel like you havenât taken many pictures while youâve been here. Probably my fault,â she laughed lightly, her tone warm.
âOh yeah, sure!â you said, handing her your phone.
You posed in front of a scenic spot along the path, flashing your signature bright smile.
âAh~ so cute,â she teased, snapping a few photos before handing your phone back to you.
âThanks,â you said, quickly glancing at the picture before slipping the phone into your pocket.
The two of you continued walking, your shoulders brushing against each other now and then as the foot traffic toward the bridge picked up. Just before you reached the bridge, Aeri stopped in her tracks, turning to you with a serious look.
âY/n,â she said, her voice soft but steady.
âHmm?â you looked at her curiously.
âWhy did you... search for me?â she asked quietly, her gaze lingering on you.
âEight years ago?â you finished for her.
âMhm,â she nodded.
âDo you really want to know?â you asked, meeting her eyes. She gave a small nod in response, waiting.
You took a deep breath, searching for the right words. âI wanted to see you again... I donât know. You left so suddenly, and I guess I was a little pissed off, honestly.â
âIâm sorry,â Aeri said softly.
You let out a small huff of laughter. âWhy are you apologizing?â
âI guess... youâre right. I donât have anything to be sorry for,â she admitted, smiling faintly.
âYou were just in my entire life, and then you left... and then, bam, I found you again,â you said, the words coming out more candidly than you expected.
âWhy would you do that?â she asked, her voice carrying a hint of vulnerability.
âI donât know, honestly... You kept entering my mind when I was in college. I thought about you... a lot,â you admitted.
Aeri nodded, her expression softening. âI see.â
âWe were babies back then, huh?â you chuckled, the tension easing. âAnd even eight years ago... we were still figuring things out.â
âYeah,â Aeri smiled, a bittersweet glint in her eyes. âI canât believe weâre not âbabiesâ anymore.â
You both finally arrived at the Love Lock Bridge, the sky now a deep shade of blue, illuminated by the city lights below. The bridge was alive with the soft hum of conversations you couldnât quite understand and the distant sounds of traffic, but you felt a quiet stillness between you and Aeri walked around.
âNing and I came here for our anniversary,â Aeri said, her voice almost wistful as she glanced around. âIt was hard to find at first. We spent months looking for the perfect spot to place our lock.â
She started scanning the rows upon rows of locks, her fingers brushing over the cold metal as she looked for hers. But while she was focused on finding it, you couldnât stop staring at herâthe way her hair fell over her face as she leaned in, the subtle concentration etched on her features, the soft smile that tugged at her lips every now and then as she searched.
You knew you should probably be at least trying to help her, but at this moment, it felt like she was a world away, even as she stood right next to you. She was talking about their anniversary, their love, and you couldnât shake away the sinking feeling.
Then suddenly, She spotted it. A small, worn lock with their names etched in faded letters. Ning and Aeri. She pointed at it.
âThere,â she said softly.
Your eyes followed your finger, and she smiled when she saw it.
âWow... I didnât think weâd be able to find it.â
You forced a smile, but the heaviness in your chest lingered. After a few moments of small talk about the lock, the conversation lulled, and Aeri checked the time. The soft glow of the city lights and the quiet hum of the evening reminded you both that this reunion, like everything, had to come to an end.
âI should probably head home,â Aeri said quietly, her voice carrying a hint of reluctance. She didnât want to break the moment, but it was inevitable.
You nodded, your own smile fading. âYeah, I should get back too.â
Home. She was going home to someoneâto a life that didnât include you. And as much as you tried to push the thought aside, it stung.
She walked with you toward the bus stop, in silence. The conversation from earlier echoed in your mindâhow you had found her again, only to realize that the distance between your lives was now undeniable.
When the bus pulled up, Aeri watched as you stepped inside. She gave you one last, soft smile, the kind that carried more meaning than any words could, just before the doors closed between you.
You said your quiet goodbye, instead of walking her home like you used to, you headed back to your own place. Alone.
The next day arrived with a clearer sky, though the weight of the previous night still lingered faintly in your chest. You werenât sure how to feel, but Aeriâs early morning text had a way of pulling you out of your thoughts: âLetâs go to Seoul Tower today! I feel like everyone who visits needs to see it.â
Of course you agreed, a few hours later when you had checked out of your hotel, you found yourself walking toward one of Seoulâs most famous places, N Seoul Tower, with Aeri by your side. The streets were alive with locals and tourists, bustling around market stalls and snapping photos.
There was a vibrant energy of the city surrounding you, but your focus was on Aeri, who was as animated as ever, pointing out landmarks and sharing random facts about the places you passed. It was cute.
âThis place is sooo a must for anyone visiting Seoul,â Aeri said with a grin as you passed a shop offering hanbok rentals. âWanna try one on?â She teased âOr are you more in the mood for food?â
You bantered back. âLetâs try food first. I donât think Iâm ready for a hanbok yet,â you playfully rolled your eyes
You stopped at a food stall, grabbing some hotteok, tteokbokki, and grilled meat skewers.
âYou have to try this. Itâs my favorite,â she said, handing you a cup of hotteok, her face lighting up as you took a bite of the warm treat âSee?! I knew youâd like it.â
The day moved quickly as you wandered through the crowded streets, snapping photos, enjoying the âtouristyâ vibe. It felt easier, lighter, as if you could both escape into the city, even if just for a while.
As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden hue over the city, Aeri led you to the top of N Seoul Tower. From the observation deck, you could see all of Seoul stretched out before you. The view was breathtaking, the city bathed in the soft light of the sun.
âThis city... itâs strange how much itâs become home,â Aeri said quietly, her voice softer now. She leaned against the railing, staring out at the skyline. âI never thought Iâd feel that way when I first moved here.â
You stood beside her. âItâs beautiful,â you said, your own voice hushed, as if speaking too loudly might break the delicate moment. You stared at her as she gazed out over the city, your mind was elsewhere.
For a while, you both stood in silence, taking in the view. In that moment, it didnât matter where you had come from or where you were going.Â
For now, this was enough.
After spending the day embodying a tourist and such, the sun had long set, and the once-bustling streets now felt quieter as you followed Aeri back to her apartment.
You were nervous of course,
âShe knows Iâm coming. right?â you asked, pausing mid-step.
âOf course,â Aeri replied, leading you up the steps to her apartmentâthe place she now called home.
As you entered, Aeri's wife, Ning, was already by the door. You werenât sure what you had expected, but seeing her in the flesh felt surreal, like a final confirmation of the life Aeri had built without you. It felt like the gap between your past with Aeri and her present had suddenly become tangible.
After a brief moment of silence, you gave Ning a polite bow, offering your best attempt at broken Korean. âAnnyeonghaseyo,â you said, smiling awkwardly.
Ning returned the gesture with a polite bow of her own. âHello,â she responded in careful English.
For a second, both of you stood there, staring at each other incredulously, trying to find the right words, the weight of the moment hanging between you.
You nodded, your heart racing slightly. âItâs nice to meet you,â you added, this time in your most broken Korean.
Ning smiled kindly, understanding the effort you were making. âItâs nice to meet you too,â she said
Ning chuckled softly, the slight language barrier immediately apparent but not uncomfortable. âAeri told me⌠a lot about you.â she responded in English
âLikewiseâ
Aeri came to your side, sensing the mix of emotions swirling in the air. âNing, should we grab something to eat? Sheâs leaving later tonight, so I think we should eat,â Aeri said in Korean, but you didnât quite catch the words.
Ning nodded and turned to you, switching back to English. âWhat do you like to eat?â
You pondered for a moment, thinking of something simple but satisfying. âHmm⌠samgyupsal?â
Ningâs face immediately lit up at the mention of her favorite food. âLetâs go get samgyupsal!â she said, her excitement evident.
You three ended up at a cozy late-night bar and restaurant, the soft hum of conversation and clinking of glasses filling the space. Dinner had gone smoothly, the samgyupsal hitting the spot, and now you were all nursing drinks, passing time until your Uber was set to arrive.
âSo, have you traveled out of the United States before?â Ning asked in Korean, her expression curious. Of course, you didnât understand, but Aeri leaned in, her voice low as she translated.
âSheâs asking if youâve been out of the country before,â Aeri said with a small smile, eyes flicking between you and her wife.
You shook your head with a soft laugh. âIâve been to Japan and Spain before, but I think Korea has been my favorite so far.â
Aeri translated the words, and Ning nodded with a smile.
âShe says Seoul is a good place to start when visiting Korea, but if you come back, you should visit Jeju Island. Itâs beautiful there,â Aeri translated again, while Ning added in her own bit in Korean, her face lighting up.
âIâve heard great things about Jeju,â you said, returning the smile. âMaybe next time.â
The small talk flowed easily enough, but as the night wore on, Aeri slowly stopped translating, and Ning sat quietly, sipping her drink. It created an odd dynamicâone where it felt like Aeri was caught between two worlds, and Ning, though polite, was drifting further into her own thoughts.
You couldnât help it. With the drinks loosening your tongue and emotions swirling inside you, the words began to spill out. Leaning in slightly, you lowered your voice, careful to keep your tone steady. âAeri⌠thanks for introducing me to your wife.â
Aeri blinked, caught off guard by the sudden shift in conversation. âMm,â she mumbled, her gaze flickering between you and her drink, unsure of where you were headed.
âI can tell she really loves you,â you added softly, the sincerity in your voice clear. "I didn't realize liking your wife would hurt this much."
Aeriâs eyes softened, her brow furrowing slightly. âReally?â she asked, her voice almost hesitant, as if she needed confirmation.
âOf course,â you replied, your words gentle, but heavy with the weight of what you werenât saying.
A moment of silence passed, the sounds of the bar fading into the background as the two of you sat there, the space between you filled with things that had been left unsaid for too long.
You took a sip from your glass, gathering the courage to speak again. â⌠When we stopped talking back then⌠I really missed you. Did you miss me?â
The question hung in the air, heavy and raw, as if youâd been holding it in for years.
Aeriâs gaze dropped for a moment, her fingers tracing the rim of her glass. When she finally looked up at you, her voice was softer, almost vulnerable. âOf course I did, Y/n.â
A dry laugh escaped your lips. âBut you met your wife then.â There was an edge to your voice, a bitterness that surprised even you.
Aeri responded instantly, almost defensively. âAnd you had a girlfriend.â
You scoffed softly. âRight,â you murmured, shaking your head with a small smile. âSorry.â
Aeri fidgeted with the rim of her glass. âItâs okay.â
After a few quiet moments, you exhaled, the weight of your thoughts pressing down on you. The words slipped out before you had the chance to stop them. âSeeing you again⌠itâs made me have some strange thoughts.â
Aeri lifted her eyes to yours, her gaze gentle but curious. âWhat kind of thoughts?â she asked softly.
You hesitated, your fingers tracing the rim of your glass as you searched for the right words. âI keep thinking⌠what if I had come here eight years ago? What if you never left California? If weâd just grown up together, stayed in each otherâs livesâŚâÂ
You paused, the questions swirling in your mind before you continued, your voice growing softer. âWould I have still searched for you? Would we have dated? Broken up? Gotten married and had kids? Just.. you know, stuff like that.â
You glanced at Aeri, her expression unreadable as she absorbed everything you said.
âAnd what Iâve realized,â you continued, almost to yourself, âis that California⌠it was always too small for your ambition. You outgrew it before either of us realized. Iâm happy you moved here, Aeri, I really am.
And the truth is, I liked you because youâre you. And who you areâŚâ You trailed off for a moment, letting the words sink in before you finished quietly. âWho you are is someone who leaves.â
Aeriâs lips parted slightly, her breath catching. She looked away for a second, as if trying to gather her thoughts, before her voice came out in a whisper. âThe Aeri Uchinaga you remember⌠she doesnât exist anymore.â
Her words cracked slightly, as if admitting it to herself for the first time.
You felt a soft chuckle escape you, one tinged with understanding. âI know,â you replied. âI know.â
She nodded, but quickly added, âBut⌠that doesnât mean she never existed.â Her eyes met yours again, softer now. âI left that version of me behind 20 years ago. I left her with you.â
Her words, the honesty in them, tugged at something deep within you. âI know,â you repeated, meeting her gaze, a strange sense of peace settling over you. âI know we were only twelve⌠but I really did love her.â
Aeriâs lips curved into a small, sad smile, the kind that holds years of unspoken truths. âI know,â she said, her voice barely a whisper. âYouâre crazy, you know that?â
You both let out a quiet laugh, the sound soft but comforting, a brief return to the simplicity of who you used to be.
âI think we mustâve been something together in our past lives,â she said after a while, her voice distant, thoughtful. âOtherwise, why would we be here together right now?â
You thought about her words, turning them over in your mind. âI agree,â you finally said. âBut in this life⌠we obviously just arenât those people to each other, are we? Weâre finally in the same city for the first time in 20 years, and here we are, sitting together... with your wife.â
Your expression softened, as you quietly acknowledged the truth you both knew. âTo Ning, youâre someone who stays,â you whispered.
A few moments of silence passed between you and Aeri.
âWho do you think we were to each other in our past lives?â Aeri asked suddenly, her voice soft, almost wistful.
You tilted your head, considering the question. âHmm⌠I donât know,â you said, your tone thoughtful. âMaybe we were forced into a political marriage to stop a warâŚOr maybe we were just two strangers on a bus who happened to sit next to each other. Or even.. maybe I was just a branch you decided to sit on as a bird on a cold morning.â
You and Aeri chuckled at that, though you could sense a sadness behind it.
You both sat in the quiet for a few more moments, the weight of those imagined lives lingering in the air, until Aeri excused herself to use the restroom, leaving you alone with Ning.
You turned toward her, feeling guilty for the past hour. âIâm sorry we spoke alone,â you said gently, your voice low. âIt wonât happen again.â
Ning gave you a small, gentle smile, though there was something sad in her eyes. âDonât worry,â she replied, her English hesitant but kind. âYou two havenât seen each other in a while. Iâm glad I got to meet you Y/n.â
You nodded, her response easing some of the tension in your chest. âIâm glad too,â you said softly, offering her a smile in return
When Aeri returned, you paid the bill and the three of you made your way back to the apartment to grab your luggage. The atmosphere had shifted slightlyâquiet, but not uncomfortable, just the natural stillness that follows the end of a long day.
âHey, Iâm gonna walk her to her Uber,â Aeri said to Ning, offering her a small, reassuring smile before turning toward you and the door.
You paused for a moment, glancing at Ning. Bowing slightly, you tried your best to piece together the Korean youâd practiced. âNice to meet you. Come visit me in California.â
Ningâs eyes softened, and despite the awkwardness of the language barrier, her warmth was undeniable. She returned the bow, her own English just as halting but genuine. âDefinitely,â she replied, her smile sincere. You offered her a small smile in return before following Aeri out the door.
As you and Aeri stepped out of the apartment, the cool night air hit you both. You walked side by side down the quiet street, neither of you saying much, both lost in your own thoughts.
The streets were dimly lit, the distant hum of the city lingering in the background. Every now and then, your shoulders brushed, but neither of you acknowledged it.Â
As you neared the end of the street, where your Uber was set to pick you up, you both stopped, standing under a flickering streetlight. The quiet air felt thick, the weight of the goodbye neither of you wanted to acknowledge.
Aeri shifted slightly, glancing at you before looking away, her hands fidgeting in her jacket pockets. âWill it be here soon?â she asked, her voice soft, trying to smooth over the tension between you.
You glanced at your phone, the screen glowing back at you. âTwo minutes,â you replied, your voice barely above a whisper.
Silence.
Some more silence fell between you two as the night deepened, the distant sounds of the city humming softly around you. Neither of you made any effort to fill the quiet, as if both afraid that words would shatter whatever remained between you.
Finally, the low rumble of a car pulling up signaled that your time was almost up. You glanced at the Uber, then down at your bags. With a sigh, you began to pack them into the trunk, your movements slow, almost hesitant, as if trying to delay the inevitable.
Just as you were about to open the car door, something inside you stirred. You couldnât let this moment end without saying it.
âAeri,â you called out, your voice breaking the silence as you turned toward her, your hand resting on the handle of the door.
She looked up, her eyes lighting up just a little as she responded, âMm?â
For a moment, you hesitated, unsure if you should say the words that had been circling in your mind. But the thought of leaving without voicing them felt unbearable. So you smiled, that bittersweet smile tugging at your lips as you spoke.
âWhat if this is a past life as well, and we are already something else to each other in our next life? Who do you think we are then?â You could feel a deep sadness in your voice as the words left your lips.
Aeri blinked, the question taking her by surprise. Her eyes searched for yours, as if trying to understand the depth of your meaning. She looked almost vulnerable at that moment, her lips parting slightly before she whispered, âI-I donât know.â Careful with her words
There was something in the way she said itâlike she wanted to know, like she wished she had an answer for you but couldnât bring herself to find one. The distance between you two felt like more than just the physical space separating youâit was something neither of you could cross.
You had realized just then. At that moment. That she hasnât been looking at you with any sort of love or longing. Sheâd just been looking at you with nostalgia. A life before the weight of the world crashed down on her.
You lowered your head with a sad laugh in response to her.
âAlright,â you began, âGoodbye, Aeri Uchinaga.. See you then.â you whispered finally parting ways with the girl you'd known 20 years ago.
A feeling of loss over you, almost suffocating. You still managed a genuine smile because you were happy Aeri was happy.Â
Bittersweet.Â
âSee you.. then, Y/n L/nâ she whispered.Â
With that, you gave her a small nod, your heart heavy. The air between you felt thick with everything unsaid. Aeri looked back at you, her eyes holding a mix of emotionsânostalgia, sadness, maybe a little bit of both.
You opened the door and got into the backseat of the Uber. You glanced out the window one last time, catching a glimpse of Aeri standing there under the streetlight. She looked a little blurry in the dim light, but still the same Aeri youâve always known.
For a second, your eyes met again. Neither of you waved, neither of you spoke. You both knew this was how it had to end.
You took a deep breath and nodded to the driver, and the car pulled away.
You silently stared out the window as the scenery of Seoul flashed by while tears streamed down your face.Â
Youâll never know that she was crying too. Harder than she ever had before.

"Oh fuck, yes" you moan as the dildo thrusts into you hard, the vibrations making your entire body tremble. You canât help but pretend itâs Drew whoâs miles away in Rome filming Queer. Youâre so proud but in moments like these you selfishly wish heâd be with you all the time. You imagine Drew's hands on you, his lips on your neck, and it sends shivers down your spine.
Youâre a shaky mess when you feel your phone start to vibrate next you and you see Drew's name on the screen. Your heart races as you answer the call, your breaths coming in short gasps. "Hi baby," you manage to say, trying to sound casual. You feel yourself getting close and know heâs just what you need to push you over the edge.
"Hey beautiful, what are you up to?" Drew's voice is smooth and deep, making you melt. You try to answer, but all that comes out is a whimper. "Baby, what's wrong?" His concern is evident, and you feel a pang of guilt for leading him on. You can barely keep yourself together. âJust relaxing, how are you? I miss youuuâŚugh.â You drag out the word with an unintentional whimper. âAre you sure? Whatâs going on?â He raises a brow at you.
"Nothing, just...needed this," you say, gesturing to the dildo between your legs. "I miss you so much." Your voice breaks, and you feel tears prick at the corners of your eyes.
Drew chuckles softly. "Miss you too, babe. Let me see what you're doing." He says it casually, but you know he's dying to know. You flip the camera around, showing him the blue dildo pumping in and out of you. âHmm, didnât expect to be in for a treat tonight. You do really miss me. How goods that feel baby?â
âOh shit, not as good as you daddy.â you whimper making Drew's eyes light up, and he groans. "Damn, baby, you look so good. I can't wait to be home and do this in person." You feel your clit throb at his words.
"Drew, I need you," you whimper, your body trembling with desire. "Please, I need you here." Drew's voice is low and husky. "Soon, baby, soon. But for now, let's get you cumming, huh?"
You pick up the pace, hitting a button to up the speed once more, the dildo slamming into you as you finger your clit. Drew's moans echo through the phone, and you know he's getting close too. "Fuck, baby, you're going to make me come, youâre doing so good, miss that pretty pussy so much. " he growls. He palms himself through his sweatpants.
As Drew's praise escalates, your guttural moans echo through the room, each syllable a testament to your impending orgasm. Sweat trickles down your spine, a testament to the intensity of your desire. "Cum for me, baby," Drew coaxes, his voice a seductive whisper over the phone. The air thickens with anticipation as your climax nears.
Your body convulses, limbs trembling as the orgasm crashes over you. A hoarse cry tears from your lips, your pleasure so intense it borders on pain. Drew's gasp on the other end of the line punctuates the moment, his voice dropping even lower as he murmurs, "Fuck, I can't wait to get home to you."
The camera flips back to your face, your hair plastered to your forehead, a wide grin splashed across your lips. "There's my sweet girl," Drew croons, his words a honeyed promise of what's to come. You can't help but squirm, your arousal still pulsing through your veins like a live wire. "I'll be home soon, and when I am... oh, the things I'm going to do to you." His threat is laced with promise, and you can't help but squirm in anticipation.

1 week later
You spent the day preparing for Drew's arrival, setting up a romantic dinner and donning a new lingerie set that would make him drool. After a few hours of anticipation, you heard the door unlock and your heart raced. You lay on the couch, usually jumping to greet him, but today you stayed seated, wanting him to take in the view.
"Baby, I'm home!" he called out, but he was cut short by the sight of you. "Well, what do we have here?" he grinned, dropping his bags and making a beeline for you. He sat down, wrapping his arms around you and pulling you in for a kiss. His long hair brushed against your skin, and you loved how it felt. You threaded your fingered through it, cherishing it knowing heâll have to buzz it again in a couple of weeks.
"Fuck, I missed you, daddy," you whispered against his lips. "I missed my girl too," he replied, his hands roaming up your body. He lifted you up with one arm and carried you to your bedroom, tossing you onto the bed. You couldn't wait to have him all over you, and you watched him, biting your lip as he stripped down to his boxers.
"Baby, I need you," you pleaded. âI need you too pretty girl but Iâve been thinking about trying something for the past week and weâre not doing anything until I get to.â
"What is it?" you asked, your voice husky with desire. He knelt on the bed, leaning in close to your face. "Where's your toys?" you took a deep breath at his words, gesturing to your nightstand. He opened the drawer and revealed a plethora of sex toys, chuckling to himself.
"Hmmm, let's see..." He pulled out the blue dildo from your FaceTime call and a vibrator in the shape of a tongue. "Take those panties off for me, sweetheart. Leave the rest on." You complied, and he settled at the top of the bed, his back against the headboard. As you got undressed, he pulled you between his legs, your back flush against his chest.
He took your feet and placed them on the outside of his thighs, admiring the view in the mirror. "Look at you, Angel," he whispered, "the most perfect pussy in the world, all for me." Heâs never been so thankful to have a full length mirror on the wall at the end of the bed.
"Please, Drew," you begged, turning your head to plant kisses on his neck. "Easy, baby girl, you'll be feeling good in a second," he replied, running the blue toy through your folds and getting it wet. You gripped his thigh from the sensation, moaning softly.
He took the toy down, circling your entrance, tormenting you with every 360-degree movement. You whined in anticipation, your hand still on his thigh and the other has reached up behind him to tangle in his hair. "Ready, baby?" he asked. "Yes, fuck yes, please, Drew," you replied.
He slowly entered the toy into your hole, all the way down to the buttons, and you felt it touch your sweet spot in the back. He pumped it in and out of you, slow and agonizingly, making you grip his hair harder. He slowed down, keeping it all the way in, and then turned the device, threading it into you. He increased the speed, and now full force, he let it ravage you.
You were a whimpering mess between his legs, your body convulsing. He trailed his hands up your body, kneading your breasts, and playing with your nipples. "Drew, oh my god," you gasped. He kissed you passionately, your tongues battling and your breaths coming in short pants.
When he broke the kiss, he took the tongue-shaped vibrator and inserted it into your mouth. You knew exactly what to do, sucking on it, getting it wet. He then brought it down to your clit, brushing against it ever so slightly. The light sensation had you bucking up toward it, but Drew pulled it away. "Uh-uh, baby, let me have my way with you."
You nodded, no words coming out from being stuffed so full from the dildo. He lowered the vibrator again, turning it on and matching the intensity of the dildo. Your whole body convulsed, and Drew still hadn't taken his eyes off you in the mirror.
He grabbed your chin, gently turning your head to face the mirror. "Open your eyes and look at yourself, baby girl," he said, demanding. You complied, scanning his face and then looking down at your pussy, seeing where you were being filled up. Even from afar, you could see your arousal dripping down your ass onto the bed.
"Look at how fucking sexy you are, my girl," he whispered, "you're such a slut for me. We should play with these more often. You're selfish for trying to hide them from me. I know they canât compete with my cock but the show youâre putting in right now is gonna make my cum in my boxers just from the sight of you.â He increased the speed of the toys, and you felt yourself getting close.
"I'm gonna cum," you cry out, heâs pushing the vibrator harder into you. You cry out in pain and pleasure, overwhelmed by the sensation. The orgasm builds in your belly like a storm, threatening to burst forth at any moment. Drew's hand slides down to your breast, his fingers rolling your nipple between them as he kisses a trail up your neck.
You can feel it bubbling inside you, and then you're hurtling over the edge. Your body convulses, your nails digging into Drew's thighs as you arch off his chest. A torrent of liquid spills out from you, soaking the sheets and leaving you shaking and gasping for air.
"That's right, baby," Drew mutters, not relenting in his stimulation. "Let it go. You're fucking unbelievable." He continues to work the toys until you collapse back onto his chest, panting and spent. He pulls the toys from you setting them on the nightstand.
As you lie there, Drew strokes your stomach with one hand and wraps the other arm around you, holding you close. You cling to him, kissing up and down his arm. Finally, you sit up and turn to straddle him, your eyes locked on his.
"I've missed you so much," you whisper, your voice thick with emotion.
"I've missed you too, beautiful," Drew replies, his eyes warm with affection. "I love you."
"I love you too," you respond, smiling. "Now, let me give you your welcome home present," you tease, reaching down to unbutton his pants.
Drew's eyes flare with anticipation as you pull him out, his breath catching in his throat. "Oh, fuck yes," he groans, his hands grabbing onto your hips as you lower yourself onto him.
You positioned yourself over him, feeling his hardness against your wetness. "Ready for this, baby?" Drew asked, his eyes burning with anticipation. You nodded, your breath coming in short pants.
He grasped your hips, guiding you onto him slowly. You felt him fill you completely, stretching your walls. You moaned softly, your eyes never leaving his.
As you started to move, Drew's hands roamed up your body, cupping your breasts and teasing your nipples. You arched into his touch, your body responding to his every move.
"You feel so good, baby," Drew whispered, his voice husky with desire. "So tight and wet for me." You moaned in agreement, your pace quickening as you rode him harder.
Drew reached up, grabbing your breasts, and squeezed them gently. "Yes, baby, fuck me hard," he urged, his eyes locked on yours. You complied, your body slamming down on him, your walls clenching around him.
As you built toward another orgasm, Drew's hands moved lower, his fingers teasing your clit. You cried out, your body convulsing around him, as you came again.
Drew grunted, his eyes rolling back in pleasure. "Fuck, baby, I'm gonna cum," he warned, his body tensing beneath you. You rode him through his orgasm, feeling him spill inside you.
As you collapsed onto his chest, panting and sated, Drew wrapped his arms around you. "Welcome home, baby," you whispered, your voice filled with love and lust. He smiled, feeling content pulling you in a little tighter.

The kitchen smelled heavenly, the aroma of sugar and butter swirling in the warm air. You sat on the counter, legs swinging lazily, watching as Regulus worked. He moved with effortless precision, measuring out ingredients like heâd been born to do it. The sleeves of his sweater were pushed up to his elbows, and there was a little smudge of flour on his cheek. It was unfair, really, how someone could make baking cookies look this... attractive.
âYouâre staring,â he said without looking up, his voice smooth but tinged with something almost bashful.
âAm I?â you replied, tilting your head and letting a smirk tug at your lips. âYou sure youâre not just imagining it?â
âIâm sure,â he said, finally meeting your eyes. His cheeks were faintly pink, though he tried to play it cool. âYouâve been staring for the past five minutes.â
You shrugged, leaning back on your hands. âCan you blame me? Watching you bake is like... art. Only better, because there are cookies at the end.â
âRight,â he said dryly, though the faint smile on his lips gave him away. âAnd here I thought you were going to help.â
âHelp?â you echoed, feigning surprise. âRegulus, my job is to be the taste tester. And the moral support. You know, the unsung hero of the operation.â
He rolled his eyes, turning back to the dough. âHow selfless of you.â
âI know,â you sighed dramatically. âItâs a thankless job, but someone has to do it.â
He shook his head, muttering something under his breath about how impossible you were. You didnât miss the way his lips twitched, though, like he was fighting a grin.
âAlright, taste tester,â he said after a moment, holding up a spoonful of dough. âSince youâre so dedicated to your role.â
You leaned forward, taking the bite with a hum of approval. âMmm. Delicious. But I think it could use... more chocolate chips.â
âOf course you do,â he said, eyeing the bag of chocolate chips suspiciously. âProbably because youâve eaten half of them already.â
âThatâs slander,â you said, crossing your arms. âIâve eaten, like, a third. Tops.â
âYou eat one more handful of chocolate chips,â he said, giving you a pointed look, âand Iâm sending you to the shop to buy more.â
You gasped, placing a hand over your heart. âYou wouldnât dare.â
âOh, I would,â he said, smirking now. âAnd youâd go, too, because you know Iâm the only one who can save this disaster of a baking attempt.â
âDisaster?â you repeated, mock-offended. âRegulus, Iâll have you know I am bringing unparalleled charm to this kitchen. The cookies are practically baking themselves just to impress me.â
He laughed then, a soft, genuine sound that made your chest feel all warm and fizzy. âYouâre unbelievable.â
âAnd yet, here I am,â you shot back, grinning. âEnhancing your baking with my delightful company.â
He glanced at you, and for a moment, his teasing demeanor faltered. There was something softer in his gaze, something that made your stomach flip. âI suppose I canât argue with that.â
You raised an eyebrow, leaning forward slightly. âWait, was that... a compliment? From Regulus Black himself?â
âDonât let it go to your head,â he said, turning back to the dough, but you didnât miss the way his blush deepened.
"Too late! It already did." You grinned.
âJust pass me the sugar before I regret letting you stay.â
You handed him the bag, unable to wipe the grin off your face. âAdmit it, youâd miss me if I left.â
He didnât answer right away, focused on the dough. But then, just as he started stirring, he murmured under his breath, âMaybe.â
It was so quiet you almost didnât hear it. But you did. And it made your heart race.
âWhat was that?â you teased, leaning closer.
âNothing,â he said quickly, though the pink on his cheeks gave him away.
You laughed, leaning back on the counter and swinging your legs again. âYouâre adorable when youâre flustered, you know that?â
âJust sit there and be quiet,â he muttered, but there was no bite in his wordsâjust a soft, hidden smile that made your chest feel warm all over again.
"Gladly."

oomf...,, idk how to request but,, hoshiumi fic,, abt height difference... pleek ty
say cheese!
character: korai hoshiumi
wc: 776
content: tall!reader; even in the unbearable summer heat, you and hoshiumi are picture-perfect. <3
a/n: hi anon!!! apologies for the late response (iâve been vacationing before school starts back EW), and thank you for the request (i was at disney for a day so that was my inspiration)! iâve also actually never written for hoshiumi, so i hope this is to your liking!
Disneyland lied when they said it was the happiest place on earth.
With the heat index at 41°C, you thought you were going to die from heat exhaustion. No matter how much water you drank the day prior, you felt yourself growing fainter by the minute.
âKoraiiiiii,â you whined as you walked through the park to the next ride, âcan you buy me a water?â
Hoshiumi cut his eyes up at you, a playful scowl contorting his face. âThis is why I told you to bring a water bottle!â Heâd been so excited to come visit the park, nothing was going to stop this dayânot even your slow death from the heat.
âI did, but could you get me a cold one? Please? Iâm dying right now.â You put on your best puppy eyes, your lip jutting out for extra emphasis. He grimaced, trying to stay strong and look away from you.
He then sighed, knowing he lost this fight. With an overly dramatic eye roll, he walked to the nearest stand to buy you a water, grumbling, âI knew we were gonna end up spending $100 on water. Iâd much rather buy a lightsaber, but nooooâŚâ Ignoring him, you tried taking a picture of the castle, but your phone didnât seem to do it justice. You frowned, unhappy with the pics, and quickly deleted all the ones you took.
Upon his return, you smiled at the two water bottles he held. âThank youuu,â you sang happily with a chaste kiss to his cheek before taking a big swig from your new bottle.
âYeah, yeah,â he said, his blush blending in with the slight sunburn on his cheeks, âOkay! Now itâs time to go rideââ
âExcuse me?â
You both turned to see a smiling cast member holding a camera, and Hoshiumi let out a quiet, exasperated sigh. He just wanted to ride some of the rides!!!
âI saw you taking a picture of the castle, would you two like a photo together in front of it?â
Your eyes lit up at the ideaâyou and Hoshiumi didnât have many pictures together, so you wanted one that was special. Even though you were sweaty and overheated, you agreed, âI would love it!â
After the photographer placed you both in the best angle with the castle perfectly behind, she called, âSay cheese!â On cue, Hoshiumi flashed his winning, slightly crooked, smile that still made you giddy. His confident, yet cheeky, eyes gave him the boyish charm that you adore.
The photographer was pleased with the result, so she then added, âNow a silly one!â
Without thinking about it, you reached your arm over, resting it right on his head, as if using him as an arm rest. You looked to the camera with a shit-eating grin. An immediate half-annoyed, half-amused expression crossed Hoshiumiâs face as he met your eyes, before you both started laughing. You were the only one able to tease him about his height without any repercussions; he knewâcoming from youâthat it was all in good fun. His only scolds came halfheartedly when he joked, âSo rude!â with a gentle push.
When the photographer showed you the photos, you noticed your eyes were closed in the silly picture when it was taken. Before you could ask for another, though, you looked at them one more time.
Upon closer examination, you noticed, unbeknownst to you at that time, how Hoshiumi looked up at you. In one specific picture, he had a cheeky smile that was full of laughter as he gazed up at you. He was taking in all your features, with the thin sheen of sweat that gave you a slight glow. Seeing the hearts in his eyes, you felt a blush creep on your face. You knew that look in his eye, the love radiating from the picture. He didnât need to say the words, âI love you;â his eyes did it for him.
It was perfect timingâa picture captured of him falling in love with you once again.
âAnd how exactly can I get these pictures?â
â
Beaming at the new photos in your camera roll, your mind was completely distracted from the heat that prickled at your skin. Maybe Disneyland was the happiest place on EarthâŚ
You were getting ready to post the pictures at the same time as you and Hoshiumi finally reached the line for your favorite rideâit wouldâve been his first time riding it!
Until you heard the young attendant snicker and ask, âYa sure youâre tall enough to ride this, kiddo?â
You just sighed when you heard Hoshiumiâs red-hot, âWhat did you just say?â
⌠It was gonna be a long day.

masterlist
You never thought this day would come. You thought this would only be a fantasy.
If you told 15 year old you that you would be standing in front of Ellie Williams at the alter, she would've laughed.
Both of you wanted this day to be perfect, and it was. The flowers, your dress and her suit, the seating arrangements, everything was perfect.
She looked at you with such love, love that you have only seen in Disney movies.
The two of you held hands as it was time for your vows. Her hands felt soft, and she held you so gently.
Ellie had to go first. Her palms were slightly sweaty. She was nervous.
Very fucking nervous.
You gave her hand a light squeeze and you gave her a small smile. That was all she needed.
"Sorry I didn't kiss you but it's obvious I wanted to"
You smiled as you remembered the awkward memory.
It was a sleepover at Dina's house, the two of you were only 15. It was you, Dina, Jesse and Ellie.
Oh Ellie.
Ellie Williams.
When Ellie and Joel arrived in Jackson you were immediately drawn to her.
She was pretty.
Really pretty.
Very early on you developed feelings for her. You liked the way she drew pictures, you liked the way she cut her hair, you liked her sense of humor. You liked Ellie for her.
When Dina invited you to the sleepover, you almost burst with joy. This was your moment.
Ellie was anxiously packing her bag for the sleepover.
She needed to impress you. She packed all her best outfits. She really fucking liked you.
The four of you played 7 minutes in heaven and the bottle landed on you and Ellie. Dina squealed knowing the two of liked each other.
You were pissing yourself, and Ellie was wondering how she smelled.
She was going to make a move. She needed to let you know how she felt. The two of you walked into the closet, and Dina locked the door behind you.
"Hi" you muttered softly
"hey" Ellie said back.
The two of you sat in awkward silence.
C'mon Ellie make your move
"What's your favorite color?" She suddenly blurted.
A smile spread onto your face before you answered "pink".
The two of you spoke so many things in that few minutes you had together. You learned so much about her.
"You have 2 minutes!" Dina yelled from the other side of the door.
"This was fun" you smiled
"it was... we should talk more often"
She was so close to you. So fucking close. You could feel her breath on your face.
'C'mon move Ellie' she thought to herself.
But before Ellie could make her move, you leaned in to kiss her. Her lips were so so soft. You've been dreaming about this for months.
Ellie's eyes widened at the sudden feeling. She wanted to lean in. She wanted to kiss you back but she was in a state of shock.
Ellie pulled away, and she started at you with a blank expression.
"Times up!" Dina opened the door with a smile.
Ellie got up and she ran out the closet.
You felt embarrassed. Humiliated.
You thought you had a connection, but clearly you were wrong.
Fuck you hated yourself
Ellie would probably never look at you again.
You were so fucking embarrassing.
"Bubble gum down my throat and it's a curse
But my luck couldn't get any worse
'Cause I swallowed the bubble gum
Oh, and these seven years will be pretty dumb
Pink flowers grow from my skin
Pepto Bismol veins and I grin"
It felt like seven years had gone by.
Its been 4 years since the kiss, but it felt like its been longer. After the kiss situation with Ellie, she avoided you like the plague. She never spoke to you again and you hated yourself for that.
Not only did you lose the girl you felt so deeply for, you lost someone you considered a best friend.
Little did you know she was beating herself up too. She was mad at herself for walking away. She was mad at herself for not kissing you back.
She was too embarrassed to look at you.
Ellie never tried again with any other girl, her heart belonged to you. Even though she wasn't sure what she would do to win you back, she knew one day you'd be hers.
Every time you would walk into a room where Ellie was she stopped breathing. If was as if bubblegum was stuck in her throat.
She wanted to talk to you, but the words were stuck.
Every time you were close to her, she'd always imagine all the things she would say, how you'd react, all the possibilities of what could have been.
But she was too pussy to say something about it.
As if her luck couldn't get worse Joel died. Everyone in Jackson could see how it affected her.
Ellie was sad but she was soon filled with rage. She had to go after whoever killed Joel. When she decided to leave Jackson, she had to say bye to you.
Ellie walked to where your house was and she knocked on the door. You opened it and she remembered you were wearing a pink flower dress.
Why was she here?
"I'm leaving Jackson"
Your eyes widened and you stayed silent for a while.
"I'm coming with you"
You stayed by her side the whole time. You were there for her the whole time.
One night you woke up to voices talking downstairs. Cautiously you walked down the stairs and you saw Ellie sitting with Tommy.
"Hi Tommy" you smile.
He gave Ellie a serious look before he walked out, not even saying bye to you.
Ellie turned to you with a sad look, and you could feel the tension in the air.
"You look so nice in your shirt" you say hoping to ease the tension.
It didn't work.
She told you about Abby. She told you that Tommy found her. She told you that she was leaving you to find her. You stayed silent as she explained everything to you.
"Say something" she begged.
"This is sad"
"What is?"
"It's sad because it just hurts"
You stayed silent before speaking up again: "I understand you miss Joel, but killing her wont bring him back. You're choosing someone else over us."
"We're not even together" Ellie hissed.
"I never forced you to come with me"
"Fuck Ellie don't you see?" You yelled "I'd do anything for you, but would you do that for me, too?"
She stayed silent at your words.
"I left my life for you, i wanted to be with you. I loved you Ellie! Open your fucking eyes"
She never responded, she got up and she walked out the door.
"Run like you always fucking do!"
She left you. She was gone for 3 months. You were going to give up hope.
Until you heard the front door opened. You ran down the stairs and you saw her in all her glory.
She was bloody, dirty and she had a few fingers missing.
"You're still here" she said with relief she fell to her knees and you ran to her.
Tears fell from both your eyes before Ellie muttered "killing her wont bring him back"
You smiled as Ellie retold the story in her vows. The officiant cleared her throat "i now pronounce you... wife and wife! You may now kiss your wife"
Ellie immediately grabbed your face, and the two of you shared a passionate kiss.
The crowd erupted in cheers, and you felt her smile into the kiss.
This is what you've always dreamed of.

Placing the clear, blue rimmed glass down on the placement cloth in front of you, you throw the drying cloth in your hands on your shoulder. Long white hair tied up lazily at the back of your head, white poet shirt hanging off your shoulders, its strings by your chest having been loosened the moment you bid farewell to your last patron for the night. Your necklace consisting of a dull orange fire stone remains barely concealed beneath your white shirt, its chain placed comfortingly around your neck. The angle your shirt is sitting may expose more of your chest than you would usually feel comfortable with showing in public, but currently it's only you and the Choiâs at the tavern.
âMoon Tavernâ - the tavern you own- is open 24/7 on weekends, but closes at 11 pm on weeknights, for you have to ensure those on your side of the land, those in your village are ready the next morning for their duties. Unfortunately for your regulars it's a Thursday night, meaning closing time. Meaning cleaning up duty for you and those on your shift. You turn your head and scan around you, looking down both sides of the bar counter to ensure no glasses or coasters are left laying around before your eyes trail to the middle of the tavern where the Choiâs sit waiting for you.Â
Choi Beomgyu, a young man of 22 who you met when he was only 17, being banished to Obsidian, due to his seeing abilities, when the war came to an end, he became your second ever apprentice. Next to him sits Choi Yeonjun at the age of 24, a snake shifter who followed his friend all the way from their homeland and ended up right in your welcoming embrace.Â
They both work as waiters at the tavern, sometimes even performing with the band, always insisting on helping you close when you man the bar on night shifts- but never doing the same for your co-owner, you know the reason but pay it no mind.Â
Cracking your neck before stretching your hands above your head, your back curls in as your chest pushes out, causing the strings of your shirt to loosen even more. Beomgyu wolf-whistles from where he sits as Yeonjun starts chastising you for your actions. âI've told you so many times that that's not healthy Boss, if youâre having pain problems again you need to let Niki or Gyu look at you.â Yeonjun looks at you with a mock scolding gaze.
You scoff, finishing your stretch before looking at the boy- not man, boy because compared to someone of your age that is what he is, a boy, one of your boys. âAnd I've told you many times not to call me Boss, guess neither of us listen to the other'' you bite back before removing the cloth from your shoulder, placing it on the drying pole attached to the bottom of the bar counter on your end.
âToucheâ Yeonjun replies as both he and Beomgyu stand up while you walk out from behind the bar, picking up your jacket and keys that was on the counter, the three of you start walking to the front door as you turn off all the lanterns you walk by, âwell, I, for one, was delighted by the show given- so I humbly thank youâ Beomgyu gives an over dramatic bow as he speaks, causing Yeonjun to roll his eyes and your lips to quirk up ever so slightly.
The three of you walk until you're outside the tavern, you make sure to lock it before you continue walking, there's a cold breeze tonight, almost calming as it nips at the parts of your exposed skin, the boys behind you shiver and snuggle more into their own jackets as they walk, one on each side of you, you on the other hand do not falter in your steps. Despite your love of warmth you've grown quite accustomed to the cold nights that seem to accompany the dark sky of Obsidian.
You reach the part in your path where you and the boys should split, while they live more to the center of the town, in a neighborhood along with the rest of your pack, your home is located on the outskirts next to the river that separates your land between its two regions. You turn to say goodbye but catch Beomgyu staring at you in a worried manner, his eyes glowing a faint- barely noticeable purple âThe water will shine a luminous blue tonight as natureâs soldier will be hurt, and the singers rock will formâ you tilt your head inquisitively but when he doesn't say anything else you leave it be.Â
Seers cannot control the amount of information they are given and Beomgyu would've told you if there was something else. You nod your head in understanding before placing your hand on his shoulder, you look down at him and smile in a reassuring way, âIâll be safe, donât worry my little videns â Beomgyuâs head tilts to rest on your hand at your words.
âI donât know if Iâm fine with letting you walk home alone now..â Yeonjun looks like heâs contemplating following you as he bites the inside of his cheek but you quickly shut him down, âJun, Iâll be fine. I can take care of myself, you two need to get home, you have a shift tomorrow morningâ. Yeonjun huffs âYeah with Tea-moo, I donât think either of us really mind being late for that oneâ he rolls his eyes as his arms are crossed over his chest, pouting like a child. âHeâs still your leader Jun, you should respect himâ you scold the boy, knowing your words won't have any impact now as they hadn't before, not on this topic.Â
âYouâre our leader Boss, heâs the guy who you let be the leader and we both know it.â Yeonjunâs distaste for Tea-moo was never a secret, it caused a lot of tension in your pack, but neither he nor Tea-moo made an effort to fix the strain. âJun Iâm not having this conversation again.â you reply sternly, âIâm going home, you two need to do the same. Niki is probably waiting for you and I donât want him staying up too late we have lessons tomorrowâ
Niki, your first apprentice, your little shadow dragon, your son. He lives with you most of the time but often spends nights over at the Choiâs, the three of them act like brothers and it comforts your heart to know they have each other. Youâre currently busy teaching Niki everything you know as the boy wants to follow in your footsteps, become a healer and not a destroyer as shadow dragons are often depicted.
âFine, but if anything feels wrong even in the slightest the you scream, alrightâ Yeonjun needs that reassurance at least. âI doubt something to that extent will happen Junâ, you donât want to promise him you would, because a bansheeâs scream is a deafening one, itâs not something to be used lightly and something you've only used a handful of times. âPromise meâ he does not relent.
âIf it gets to that extent, I will scream to alert you.â You nod to him and his tense shoulders seem to relax a little. As Beomgyu lifts his head from your hand on his shoulder both of them come closer to hug you as a goodbye. You hate lying, but you know you won't scream, to resort to such measures is simply not something you're capable of doing. Youâve only used your scream once in your life, and you dread something of the like happening again.
You watch as they walk the opposite direction, walking as one, two halves of a whole. A feeling of contentment stirs in you, despite whatever Beomgyuâs vision foretold you know theyâll be safe, and that's all you could ask for.
âNoâ, Mingiâs voice is firm, almost angry sounding as his jaw clenches in an effort to not yell at the others in the room. âI told you all, heâs mine-'' his words are interrupted with Yunhoâs introjection of "oursâ â-Heâs ours, Iâm not bringing you guys to him.â Mingi finishes.
Heâs standing with his back leaning against the wall, everyone is gathered in the kitchen, most sitting, except for Yunho- who's standing right next to Mingi- and San who's standing behind Wooyoung. âMingi, Yeosang is sick, he needs help and itâs something nobody here knows how to deal with. We canât travel with him in this condition so we are stuck on this island- one that isn't our territory. You say this guy is a doctor, he might know how to help. Sanâs knowledge of herbs can only get us so far.â Hongjoongs voice is calm as he tries to reason with Mingi, but you can hear the sharp edge of authority it holds as he sits at the head of the table.Â
âA human doctor, yes, how do we know heâll be able to help Yeosang?â Yunhoâs voice isnât as strained with anger as Mingiâs, but you can hear his hesitance. âHe lives in a region known for harboring two of the most regal packs, Iâm quite sure heâs probably aware of our species, may have even encountered many, he may know at least something that could help us, or point us in the direction of someone who could.â Seonghwa says as he sits beside Hongjoong, his voice flows calm, a sharp contrast to their leaders icinessâ Seonghwas reflects the warmth thatâs permanently buried in his chest, but everyone can tell heâs just as worried about Yeosang.Â
Yunhoâs stomach churns at the idea of you having met, let alone interacted with other supernatural creatures as Mingi lets out a low grumble in discontempt. âListen, I know you guys have some weird possession kink or something over this guy, but Yeosang needs help. Do you really want him to die simply because you couldn't control your jealousy for a few hours?â Jongho asks, annoyed and his words cut deep.
Yunho turns to Mingi, while Yunho may be hesitant he doesn't want Yeosang to die. But Mingi has known you longer, there's a sort of seniority there, Yunho knows how much you mean to Mingi. Fuck you mean just as much to him, but he knows how Mingiâs mind works, he knows heâs not the one that gets to make this decision. Mingi in turn is stone faced, but Yunho can tell heâs conflicted. âJust for a check up? Nothing more?â Mingi asks, voice seeking confirmation in the same vulnerable way a child would from a parent, and the whole room takes a breath of relief.Â
âOnly a check up, we only want to know if he can figure out whatâs going on with Yeosangâ Hongjoong confirms. After a moment of silence, and another shared look with Yunho, Mingi speaks again âFine, but you let me and Yunho go in first, explain to him the situation. He doesn't know about us, about this, I want to explain to him first, I need to. Need to have him hear it from meâ
The others all nod in agreement as they move to get ready to take Yeosang to your place. Mingi canât help the anxiety building within him, he doesn't know what heâd do if you hate him after this. Even worse if youâre scared of him after this. He doesnt think he could go on living if you were. He hates the idea, the thought of losing you, loathes it even.
Mingi walks into the room where Yeosang lays on the bed, his skin sickly pale, unnatural and different from the usual light tan the siren has. His lips are chapped and parts of his skin are molting, eyeâs closed as heâs barely breathing. San is holding a cold water cloth to his forehead in an effort to try and cool down the sirens fever. Jongho sits at the other side of the bed, heâs taken Yeosangâs sickness the hardest besides Wooyoung and San, solidarity in species and all. Mingi looks at Wooyoung who's standing a bit away, Wooyoung's scared to get too close to his friend, scared his natural heat will only worsen Yeosongâs temperature. It must hurt, not being able to be there for his best friend, and Mingi feels guilt at his apprehension on letting you treat Yeosang, after all that means heâs the one separating these two.
He stands next to Yunho, sharing a look before starting to walk again as he makes his way to the front door, Yunho following. The breeze of the night hit him as the sky began to dusk. The moon is shining brightly, almost as if illuminating the path to your house and Yunho canât help but think it might be an omen, whether itâs a good or bad one is still undecided.
You walk to your backdoor as you hear knocking. You know it's Mingi and Yunho, theyâre the only ones that would use that entrance, only ones that would knock too. What worries you is the fact that the knocking seems frantic and you could sense multiple other life forces as well, although theyâre a little farther from the entrance of your house than the wolves.Â
You open the door as you look at the two, itâs unusual that theyâre here tonight, they donât usually come over on weeknights, so the fact that theyâre at your front door, looking quite nervous on a Thursday concerns you. âOh? To what do I owe the visit?â You ask the two as you step aside to let them in, the other life forces donât move and so you leave them alone.Â
Mingi and Yunho both step inside, Yunho looking more nervous as Mingi is more conflicted. âWe uhm- we have to talkâ Mingi says, fiddling with the bandages on his fingers as he walks into your house a bit more, before leaning on the countertop in the corner. Yunho stays by the door but moves to the side a bit so that heâs not blocking it. âWe need your help..âÂ
His words peak your interest, the two never share a lot about their current private affairs and you respect that. Understanding that not every creature wishes to be known, especially if theyâre of the rarer types like you know these two are, so them standing before you now asking this question is quite strange. âOh? What can I help with?â You walk into your home, decidedly leaving the door open.Â
âOkay so uhm- Iâm not sure if you know. Wait what do you know- wait no wait oka-â Mingiâs nervous rambling is cut off by Yunho who looks you dead in the eye, unlike Mingi whose eyes are drilling holes in the floor. âDo you believe in the supernatural?â Yunhoâs voice is firm and not as soft as youâre used to. âThe supernatural? yeah, why?â You say nonchalantly, thinking of all the ways the direction this conversation can go. Would they confess their true nature? Yunho scratches the back of his neck as he takes a deep breath before speaking âSo uhm if we were to say, to tell you uhm we-â his words are interrupted by a loud scream from outside, all three of your heads turning the direction of the scream.
The scream was guttural sounding, desperate and dry as you stand closest to the doorway you can see bodyâs panicking as they rush out of the bushes, laying another body down on the ground, you canât see much of what's happening because of the distance but you can that Yunho and Mingi are worried, bodyâs tense. âI'm guessing thatâs why you asked? about the supernatural?â You speak and your voice is steady in an effort to give some comfort, you walk a bit more into your kitchen before reaching a door on the side and opening it. âTell them to bring him in- only you and one other can come with him- I donât need this many unknown people in my house.â You say before walking down the stairs of the door youâve opened. Turning the lights on down the way.
As your back is turned to them you can't see the bafflement on their faces as they freeze at your seeming nonchalant demeanor before rushing out to the rest of their packmates. You walk down into your apothecary room as you turn on the lights and clear your table, you donât know what youâll be dealing with, so for now all you do is roll up your sleeves and tie your hair. You hear the footsteps of three males come down the stairs. Mingi and Yunho reach your sight first before you see the two behind them, a shorter blond carrying a platinum blond man.
â[M/n] how-â Mingiâs words are cut off by your own âPut him down on the tableâ you instruct the blond and he does so with hesitance. âWhat's your name?â you ask again as you start inspecting the man laying down on your table, âSan.â he responds as you remove the man on your tableâs shirt, âOkay San, tell me about your friend here- heâs a Siren right?â you ask. âYeah, wait [M/n] how do you-â Mingi responds instead but you completely ignore him. âFresh or saltwater?â you ask already knowing the answer, eyeâs directed at San. âFresh waterâ San responds, âWhat are you doing- why are you taking off his shirt?â he asks, confusion sounding like anger. âBecause I'm gonna need you to smear ointment on his chest- lest you want him to stop breathingâ you say as you turn to try and reach for a jar of ointment in the cabinet behind you. Although San is quick to stop you as he grabs the wrist of the hand you had rested on the siren's chest to check his heartbeat.
âListen I donât know who you are, but you need to tell me what the fuck-AH!â Sanâs words are stopped by a sharp wince as he suddenly lets go of your wrist, clutching his arm as he looks at the back of his shoulder. Behind him in the doorway you see your best friend standing with her arm outstretched as sheâs just thrown a knife into his shoulder blade.âYou wolves couldn't act fast enough to stop your little friend here from grabbing [M/n]?â Lisa asks as she walks over. San tries to pull out the knife but you quickly stop him, âDonât do that, that knifeâs specifically designed to hurt anyone except for Lisa. Mingi go get another one of your friends to help Sanâ you say and Mingi complies, despite the unease in his eyes and the questions you can feel lingering on his lips, he walks back out the room. âSan you sit down on that chair over thereâ you point to a chair in the corner of the room âLisa help himâ she clicks her tongue before looking at you as if asking why âYouâre the only one that can touch the knife, you know where the ointment is, Yunho help her I donât think San would be to keen on letting her touch himâ you order and Yunho nods, his mouth closed and it seems even he hasnât processed whats been happening.Â
Mingi comes down with another male behind him, this one with short dark hair, âFire elemental yeah? Whatâs your name?â you ask him as you get out jars of paste from your cabinets. âUhm uh yeah Wooyoung whatâs going on with Sanâ his eyes instinctively flicker to his friend and you can see the panic in his eyes, âhey don't focus on him, focus on me I need your help with your friend.â Wooyoung's head snaps between the two of his friends before he sees San nod at him and he walks up to the table as you hand him a jar. âHere, smear this into his chestâ you say as you start inspecting the siren on your table. âWhen was the last time he swam- in fresh water specificallyâ You ask Wooyoung. âUhm I'm not sure? A few months ago maybe? He and Jongho- a saltwater siren, swam in the Night sea before we came here but he hasnât been in the water since and then he got sick so we donât know what to doâ Wooyoung's words flow out a mile a minute as he starts rubbing the clear ointment on Yeosangs chest.Â
âTell me what youâre doing to himâ San speaks from the corner of the room between pained hisses. âOkay you see this?â you point to the open gills of the Siren before you, âUsually sirens' gills only form when theyâre underwater, his gills being open, basically gasping for air means he cant breath. Freshwater Sirens are much more sensitive than saltwater ones, they need more water intake and too much salt water can also dry out their skin. I've seen it before one or two times in my lifetime, heâs dehydrated, see how heâs molting and his chapped lips?â Wooyoung's nodâs. âSo you know how to help him then?â San asks as heâs being wrapped in a bandage by Yunho, Lisa now standing in the other corner of the room as she cleans her dagger.Â
âYeah, yeah I know how, Lisa, would you get me the towels please?â you respond as you wrap your hands around Yeosangs neck, covering his gills as Lisa walks up the stairs of the room into your home. Seeing your actions, San tries to storm up from his chair but is held back by Yunho as Mingiâs voice aggressively tells him to sit.âWhat are you doing?! You just said his gills are how he breathes?! Wooyoung stop him!â San shouts as heâs struggling against Yunho's hold, Wooyoung tries to reach for your hands but is yanked back by Mingi âI told you not to touch himâ his voice is borderline possessive but you can't bring yourself to focus on that now. âThe ointment Wooyoung rubbed on his chest helped open up his lungs, I'm closing his gills to ensure he'll breathe out of his mouth.â you say and before they can respond the siren lets out a gasp as his breathing becomes a bit more stable, now from his mouth and nose.
âAlright I have to take him out to the water, you can follow but donât interrupt okay?â You look at the four men in front of you, three nod as San stays silent. You pick Yeosang up bridal-style and Mingi lets out a noise of protest but stays mostly silent. You walk up the stairs careful not to move the siren in your hold too much. As you walk out of your home and feel the cold breeze hit you for the second time that night, the siren in your hold wines at the temperature drop. You nod your head in acknowledgement at the three other males standing outside, looking worried to all hell, as you continue walking to the stream that flows outside your house only a few miles away.
You feel the seven men following you, some fussing over San as they walk, Mingi and Yunho leading them, Lisa follows with towels in hand. As you reach the edge of the stream you look back at the men, âDonât interrupt yeah? You might not understand what's happening but interfering will only hurt himâ you look back at the water. The men behind you all seem apprehensive but comply to your orders, San only because heâs still being held back by Yunho. The clearing is deathly silent as you start walking into the river, despite the cold of the water you donât flinch.Â
As you work and the others watch you, Hongjoongs turns to Mingi, âI thought you said he was human?â he whispers slightly, âI thought he wasâ Mingi responds, mouth almost agape in awe at your actions. âThen why does his right eye look like that of a banshee? Don't tell me you didn't realizeâ Hongjoong whispers again, this time Mingi is silent as he hears his leader's revelation. Heâs always been curious about your white eye, the intricate markings almost like shattered glass, sometimes even wondering if you were blind in it, but heâd never had the gall to ask.
You let out a whistle as you stand in the water. It reaches your chest as you hold Yeosang, letting him practically float in the freshwater, his whole body, except for his face covered by the usual clear stream that's now blurred by the night's darkness. âAmphitrite, darling I need your helpâ you call out softly, in the same voice youâd speak to Mingi in when he fell asleep on your shoulder, the voice you'd speak to Yunho in when he came to you teary eyed and in need of comfort. A moment of confusion passes before the water starts swirling around you. The hair youâve loosely tied has now fallen, cascading down your shoulders like a waterfall as the ends drift in the river. The water around you and the siren starts turning a bright blue, almost blinding. Once again San tries to lurch forward but is held back by Hongjoong, âHe said not to interruptâ the leader states, despite his own confusion he is smart enough to know not to mess with the trails of a Banshee.Â
From the side of the river, the side filled with forest trees so dark the others canât see past the line that separates the land they currently stand on with the territory named Forest night, emerges a large horse. Not a normal one. The horse seems sickly, almost dark and boney, barely a horse at all as its seaweed-like mane sways lightly in the wind, dripping wet despite the fact that the horse has just come out of the dry forest. The horse- the kelpieâs soulless eyes stare into the 7 men standing on the other side of the river. The way itâs flesh is ripped from the sides of its snout revealing itâs horrific teeth is a picture painted from nightmares of the sickests minds. Its bones crack with every step and the dark shadows around it lash out as whispers follow.
It steps into the water and the liquid seems to be drawn to it. The water crawls up its legs and takes its form, molding with the bloody bones and dark shadows so well, to the point that if you didnât look too closely the horse would seem normal, beautiful even. No ripped flesh or greasy hair, no teeth are shown from its snout because its skin has no tear. The kelpie is big and dark, looking like a noble steed fit for a true royal, yet it walks over to you so slow and soft that it's clear where its loyalties lie. The kelpie goes silent, no whisper or lashing of shadows as it bows to you. The animal who is known to bring death to many sends a horrid thought through Sanâs mind. They had just given Yeosang, to the nightmarish stallion, on a silver platter. Instead of the creature luring Yeosang to death, it was his own pack who handed him to the ominous shadows of death looming above the glowing river of life.Â
You reach out a hand to pet its snout, âAmphritre darling, could you help this young siren for me?â you ask softly, stroking the kelpie, it seems to look down for a moment, makes a noise of dismay before you speak again, âPlease?â you ask, removing your hand from its snout and gripping your necklace, the kelpie looks at the stone in your hand and relaxes as you reach back up to pet it once more.Â
It retracts its snout from your hold before looking down at Yeosang, sniffing his hair slightly before bringing a hoof out of the water, time seems to slow down as the horse slaps its hoof down on Yeosangs chest before it dissolves into the water, as if it was never there. Its former dark hair and pale bones now blending in with the bubbling waters as Yeosang gasps again, his body lurching forward as his eyes fly open. He coughs up water as you gently rub his back, your other arm. still supporting him as heâs basically sitting on it. âItâs okay, Itâs okayâ you whisper softly, unaware of how both Mingi and Yunhoâs eyes are locked on you.Â
The way your hair reflects the moonlight, glowing bright as it drifts on the water behind your back, the way your white shirt- now wet and clear sticks to your skin, the way your voice dips low as you whisper to Yeosang, despite it being barely audible to those standing on the ground, it sends shivers down their spine. Makes Mingiâs stomach churn with heat and Yunhoâs chest rumble with jealousy. Everyone else is focusing on the now conscious Yeosang, but theyâre focusing on you.
As Yeosangâs coughing fit stops he looks up at you, eyes lidded and foggy and then he gives you a lazy smile, âMy pearl, Iâve found you, my pearl, my pearlâ Yeosang chantâs out softly like a mantra, his hand reaches for your cheek and just before he could place it on your skin, you tap his forehead, causing him to drop back down, now in a deep sleep as he practically snuggles into your hold. Your breath hitches at his words and your eyes lock with Hongjoong and Seonghwa, whose own had widened significantly, but you try not to react too much as you look down for a moment to ensure heâs sleeping before you start to step out as the water around you calms down, going back to its original dark state, only light being from the reflection of the moon.
âWhat- how-â Mingiâs splutters of confusion are ignored as the salt water siren rushes forward, frantically looking Yeosang up and down, trying to take him from your hold. The siren in your arms, despite his sleepy state, refuses as he makes a noise of protest. You nod your head at Lisa as she hands you a towel before handing another to the saltwater siren. âWhatâs your name, little one?â she asks him gently, her voice not even close to the malicious tone she had held earlier when speaking to San, âJonghoâ the saltwater Siren states. âAlright Jongho, youâre gonna need to help me transfer your friend here from [M/n]âs arms. Can you sit down for me? Hold your hands open with the towel, be ready to take himâ she instructs gently, Jongho does as told, you follow shortly after, sitting down on your knees, the action causing your wet pants to flex against your thighs, which immediately drawâs Yunhoâs attention.
âWhatâs this one's name?â you ask Jongho softly, referring to the man in your arms, âYeosangâ the shifter that stands beside Mingi speaks. He seems regal in a sense, and you can sense a connection of sorts to him⌠he must be a creature that inhabits water, you hum in acknowledgment at his answer before looking down at the boy in your arms. âAlright Yeosang can you hear me?â You speak, gently using one of your hands that's not holding him against you to move the wet hair out of his face, the siren makes a noise of acknowledgement but doesn't open his eyes. âI'm going to need you to let go of me okay? We need to dry you off lest you get sickâ you utter and your voice flows over the clearing, despite your gentle tone, the low rumble of your words seems to keep everyone around you quiet. The siren makes another noise of disagreement and you can sense the starting agitation of the wolves standing a bit to your right.
âCome on, if you do this for me Iâll be here when you wake up okay? Just go into the arms of your brother." Finally Yeosang complies at your words as he relaxes the arms that were wrapped around your neck, you hand him to Jongho who instantly wraps him in the blanket and gently tries to dry him as Wooyoung and San flock to his side. You stand up and start gently drying yourself, Lisa helping you with your long hair as you look at the others. âYou need to get him home for now, the water may have helped him but the measures i've used will ensure heâll be very cold, Iâd suggest keeping Wooyoung close to him to warm him up, Iâm not sure how long you guys will be here, so he can come swim in the river if he feels his hydration levels get too low, just let me know first.â You speak to the group, mostly the two reptilian shifters given they seem to hold the most authority among the group.
âWait- what how did you-â Mingi walks closer as he starts questioning what just happened, despite his confusion and search for answers his eyes are stuck on your chest as your shirt sticks to it and the necklace heâs never seen you without dangles from your neck. âIsn't it obvious? Thought those two would have figured it out alreadyâ you nod to the two shifters again before pointing to your eye, the one that's white and void, filled with little gray lines. âThe eyeâs of a Banshee.â The shorter one states, âAlthough I haven't heard of one being alive in a while, the last known one was when the war ended.â the white haired one follows.
âI like keeping quiet, nothing good comes of my kind being known. You must understand thatâ you say, voice monotone as the two nod. âIâm Kim Hongjoong, this is my right hand Park Seonghwa. It is a pleasure to finally meet you, we have heard quite a lotâ Hongjoong says as he nods his head at you. âThank you for saving Yeosang, truly we didnât know what to do.â Seonghwa does the same as Hongjoong as he nods his head.Â
âHm, Itâs no problem, although I must say not everyday the King of Aurora comes to my home.â You say as you look at Hongjoong, his face is stoic but you see the slight widening of his eyes that shows his shock. âWhat? You think just because weâre an isolated island that we donât keep up with what happens in other regions?â you ask half sarcastically, Wooyoung whoâs listening into the conversation makes a small shrug of âyeahâ. You chuckle slightly and the sound is like music to Mingi and Yunhoâs ears in this tense atmosphere. âI think you guys should go home yeah? He needs restâ you nod over to the sleeping Yeosang.
Seonghwa steps forward for a moment, âHeâll ask about you, you know that right? Not everyday a fresh water siren finds their pearlâ you nod your head in understanding as you cross your arms, the others make faces of confusion but don't interrupt âYes I understand that, but right now rest is more important to him.â You say and Hongjoong nods, âWe do still need to talkâ he motions for the others to start gathering around as his eyes are focused on you.
âHm, I guess I understand, a King worried about a man of his packâ you hum, not noticing the slight flinch as you refer to him as âKingâ, âThere's a tavern a little bit into town, called Moonlight, Iâll meet you there tomorrow to talk, you can come anytime. Although not everyone can come, I'm not sure my pack would appreciate being ambushed by yoursâ Hongjoong nods at your words as he turns around to signal the rest to leave, but Mingi instantly lurches forward.
âHey woah no Iâm not leaving, since when were you a Banshee? Wait, no that's stupid, why didnât you tell me? Why didn't you tell us?â There are tears lingering in his eyes as he asks you pleadingly, his pupils wide and glossy. He searches your face for an answer as his hands grip your arms desperately. âWhy didn't you tell me you were wolves? Shifters from the Walkam bloodline no lessâ you donât mean to seem as cold as you do, but your words send a chill down the wolves spine, one colder than the night sky youâre currently standing under.
âWe were scared..â Yunho whispers as he moves closer to both you and Mingi. The others look at the scene unfolding before them and they feel as if theyâve invaded something they shouldnât have, but they canât look away. The way the moon is shining on you three is simply mesmerizing, as if sheâs capturing the moment in her memory. âAnd so was I. You must know being a Banshee is not safe, for me nor for you. Some things are better kept unsaid.â You place a hand on each of their cheeks as their faces nuzzle into your skin, warm flushed against your cold hands. âBut we werenât- that's not what we were scared of I- '' Mingi's words are cut off by Lisa, who's standing with the others.
âLoverboy, I donât think this is the place for your confession okay? Besides [Name] is tired, that ritual takes a lot out of himâ she says as she shifts her weight to one hip, she seems a little annoyed to the others but you can see the bit of sympathy in her eyes. The scene seems almost familiar to her but she pushes the feeling away. Mingi turns his head to her and opens his mouth to protest but heâs stopped by you talking instead. âSheâs right Mingi, you need to go home, Yeosang needs to rest, I need to rest.â You tell him softly. âBut we have to talkâ Yunhoâs disheartened voice reaches your ears. âTomorrow is Friday, right? We always meet on friday nights, why would tomorrow be any different? We can talk then, I'll give you all the answers I can then.â your thumb strokes his cheek gently before you retract your hands. Both wolves whine at the loss of your touch but they don't talk back at your words. They listen intently like worshipers would their deity.
âPromise?â they ask in unison, Mingiâs eyes glisten with unshed tears as Yunhoâs does with hope. âWhen have I ever backed out of our Friday night meetings? Why would I skip the chance to see you now meae carissimae lupiâ the familiar name rolls off your tongue in a language that makes Hongjoongs eyes widen slightly, but he doesnât comment on it, not in such a fragile atmosphere. Both Mingi and Yunhoâs eyes flash with confusion yet fondness, youâve never told them what the name meant, but they both hold the familiarity of the way your voice vibrates when you refer to them with it dear. âNow I believe you need to help get your brother home hm?â You nod your head to Yeosang who's still in Jonghoâs arms. Yunho is the first to start retreating, but Mingi is hesitant to do the same, instead he sends one final glance to his pack. His eyes lock with Yunho, and then his gaze lingers on Yeosang for just a moment longer than a normal look should, before he hugs you, tightly. Not caring for the wetness of your clothes, or the coldness of your skin, he hugs you like his life depends on it, and were you any weaker it would have hurt.
He rests his nose in your neck, inhaling your scent as if heâs engraving it in his memory. Your hand automatically rests itself on his head, gently scratching his scalp to try and soothe him from what you believe to be the feelings of his sick brother now crashing down on him. Unbeknownst to you, the action solidifies something, adds oxygen to his lungs, to the fire in his very being that's alight for you.Â
âMingi..â Hongjoong calls in warning as he sees Lisaâs gaze. Hongjoong doesnât want to intrude longer than he already has, the suspicions he and Seonghwa currently hold make him weary of your company, despite the kind gesture you had just done for them. Mingi growls, itâs low, not like any sound theyâve ever heard from him, seems to reverberate from his chest like a demon roaring in a cave, and not that of a normal wolf. Although he lets go, and so no one pays it any mind, all of them having too much to process tonight already, Mingiâs more primal than usual rumble being the last of their worries.Â
Mingi looks at your face as he lets go of you, leans in and kisses your nose as he cups your cheeks before he turns away and starts walking, not looking at any of his pack members. You stand in shock as you watch his retreating figure, feeling the tingle of his lips on your skin linger. Yunho spares you a glance of longing before going after Mingi, and the others hang around unsure whether they should stay or go.
â[Name] will meet you at the tavern tomorrow, King. You all should go before I stick another knife in one of youâ Lisa says as she assesses the situation at hand, her eyes travel to San as he grits his teeth, shoulders tensing as he seemingly readies himself to jump at her, but heâs stopped by Wooyoung holding his arm. âYeah weâll go Maâam, no need to dagger any of usâ he tugs San to follow, the blond making a confused noise at Wooyoung's sudden honorifics for the female. Jongho whose feet have already begun moving the moment Lisaâs first sentence left her mouth.
Now the only people left in the clearing, itâs you, Lisa, Seonghwa and Hongjoong. âYou speak the ancient language?â Seonghwa asks, âI was taught at a young age, just as you probably were, lost dragon of Twilightâ Seonghwaâs breath hitches at your response, eyes widening as he immediately opens his mouth to respond, yet Hongjoong interrupts him, âSeonghwa, we will go.â Hongjoong whoâs been analyzing both you and Lisa makes his decision final as he starts walking, Seonghwa quickly following his leader but still spluttering in confusion. His regal mask seemingly breaking the moment you showed an inkling of knowledge.
Once the two have passed the treeline and are out of your sight, you let out a breath of relief and Lisa immediately moves to your side to support you as your legs give in for a moment. She gives you a second to stabilize yourself before you both move back into your home, you immediately sit on a stool by your kitchen counter as she locks the door. Your head rests in your hands as you hear Lisa rustle around in your kitchen. âDrinkâ, she says, before placing a glass of water in front of you as she sits down herself.
You take the glass and chug it as she starts speaking, âTea-moo wonât like this you knowâ she plays with her dagger as she speaks, the tip of the blade chipping a hole into the paint of the counter top as she spins it under her finger. âTea-moo has a wife to worry about, and stop it with the blade youâre going to ruin another counter topâ you swat her hand playfully to stop her, she huffs and drops the dagger. âShe wonât like this eitherâ Lisa gives you a knowing look as she stands back up, now looking through your cupboards. âJust for different reasonsâ you sigh as she turns around, a jar of salve in her hands.
She walks over to you as you turn in your chair to face her, with her help you remove your shirt as she opens the jar, your muscleâs ache with the strain youâve put on them tonight, clearly not having used your magic for a long time has an effect on you. Looking down you see the lightning-like scars that litter your torso and crawl all the way to your back. You're just lucky the transparency of your white shirt didnât expose the usually light pink marks that litter your skin tonight, but now theyâre glowing a faint blue. Itâs not painful by any means, but still the reminder that it can be excruciating when not treated haunts you. You shake your head to distract yourself as Lisa starts lightly applying the balm along the lines of your healed wounds. Itâs become a calming ritual for her, applying the salve on the long forgotten wounds that only re appear when you use your magic. Itâs as if the light inside you tries to escape, and Lisa tries her hardest to keep it inside. Lest she fail again. Applying the salve to watch the marks almost completely disappear is the only thing that can help her rest easy after you've used magic such as what you used tonight.
âVampires are territorial creatures, they are most like wolves in that wayâ she muses as she continues your previous conversation, âDonât let them hear you say thatâ you try and lighten the mood, and under any other circumstance it would have worked. âTea- moo hearing me compare him to a wolf is not my concern. My concern; is him finding out his previous imprinted- and his wife's savior has been claimed by a Siren- a prince of Dune no lessâ Lisaâs gaze flickers to the orange stone hung around your neck before she looks at you, you sigh and rub your eyes, already feeling the headache forming, âand why is that your concern?â you voice the question yet already know the answer.Â
âThat nation abandoned you, who's to say their prince wont do the same?â she slams the lid back on the jar of salve before she moves to put it away while you put on your shirt again. âWhat happened then had nothing to do with him Lisa, you know that. He does not know who I am and does not know I know who he is. Besides, I do not plan on reciprocating his bond. I've had enough dealing with Duneâs sirens to last me all my lifetimes.â you bring your necklace out from under your shirt as Lisa walks back to you, she takes the stone in her hand gently as it glows in response to her touch, you let her.Â
She lets it drop back to your chest with a gentle jingle of the chain, âAnd the wolves? Youâve been awfully close to them this last year, and while the others may have been fine with it- having seen them tonight? Having heard the rumble in the angry oneâs-""Mingiâsâ you interrupt her,âMingiâs chestâ she nods her head, âthat's something way more than just adoration for youâŚâ she says, and this time you canât reassure her in your hesitance to pursue anything like you could with the siren.
She nods her head in understanding, âJust be careful hm?â she pats your chest, âdealing with one supernatural bond is hard enough, having the prospect of three? It might not bode well with the othersâ You nod your head at her words because you know itâs true, but you canât bring yourself to deny anything.
Because the last few months, this last year spent with Mingi and Yunho have brought back to you what you thought had been extinguished forever, but youâre scared of accepting the reality of what that means. Accepting reality means accepting them, and you fear you'll drown their fire if you do, just like you did before.
âDo you think itâs stupid of me to live in this delusion?â you ask quietly, fiddling with your necklace as it once again glows in response to you, your emotions. Lisa sighs, âI donât think itâs stupid- I donât think it's a delusion either, My little princeâ she holds your face in her hands, using the tittle you've long since forgone. Lisa has always been with you, ever since you were a teen knowing nothing about life she had been one of the older flames who helped guide you. âIf those wolves are what you desire, then you know i'll help you acquire them- I think they would come willinglyâ she jokes, and you huff out a laugh. âMy desire means nothing in the face of their safety. I just, I like to think that If I was different, if I wasn't-â you stop your sentence, âI like to think that sometimes I could love someone the way you love herâ you say. Lisaâs eyes fill with pain and she kisses your forehead, âYou will, you'll find someone who loves you like thatâ âYou already haveâ she thinks but doesn't verbalize.
âWhy are you always the one able to make me vulnerable?â you ask rhetorically, biting your cheek in an effort not to cry. Lisaâs warmth sometimes reminds you more of your mother than a sister. âI've been your guard since before you knew what love meant [M/N], if you didn't feel safe enough to be vulnerable with me I wouldn't be doing my job rightâ she bites back and pats your cheek before her hands leave your face. âYou know you don't have to protect me right? I can do it myselfâ you muse, and she responds without a beat, âI donât have too, I want to. Just because you're able to protect yourself doesn't mean you should. You protect the others, you protect your kids, so I protect you.â
You smile at her, and sheâs reminded of another time, a younger you running between an army of soldiers, laughing as the big burly men in all black gaze with fondness at your little figure. The contrast of your soft white hair and clothing to their intimidating nature always drew a laugh from onlookers. Lisa remembers sitting next to her love as you played with the soldiers, she remembers a time your smile was innocent and not burdened with the pain and knowledge you now hold.
She hopes these wolves could bring back that smile.

you wanted inspiration about the tongue thing I NEED TO SEE THIS WITH JEONGIN! (I love youuu)
(SKZ) Jeongin Brainrot â¤ď¸âđĽ
.
.
.
I love our innie
That man has a tongue and he knows how to use it. Fight me.
In a way, innie likes being the dominant one, but thereâs some days where he just gets so riled up and pussy drunk that he could just eat you out for hours. Sometimes he gets a bit needy with it too. But letâs imagine it happened in the morning..
CW!: I.N being thirsty for that đą, needy/"subby" innie in a way, nicknames (baby, cutie, pretty, probably others help-), praise (mainly innie praising how good your đą is), obviously oral (f receiving), morning sex, thereâs probably more atp
.
.
.
.
You hear a soft whine coming from Jeongin "innie?" You assumed that he just woke up and was just stretching. "Cutie.." he said as you turned over to look at him. He pulled you closer to him and gave you a kiss. "Baby.. I need you.." "hmm..? Whatâs wrong?" "I need a taste.. please?" You couldnât say no to his sleepy whiny voice so you nodded, giving him the okay to do what he wanted. "Did someone have a naughty dream?" You teased him.
His cheeks got flushed a little bit before he removed the covers and got between your legs to remove your pajama pants. "Yes.." he admitted. "And now Iâm hungry. So this will be my breakfast this morning". He gently rubbed your thighs before slipping off your pants and your underwear at once. Whatever dream it was, it turned jeongin into someone else. He put a finger in and curled it a little, listening to your whimpers as he barely did anything with one digit. "Needed this so bad.." he whined.
He went ahead and stuck in a second finger, listening to the sounds of your whines again, turning into soft moans. "Innie.." Jeongin chuckled. "Feel good?" "Mhm.. fuck.." "keep it up cutie.. mâgonna use my mouth.." he said. He took his fingers out of you and licked them with a groan. He then dipped his face in between your legs and began making out with your clit. Immediately, you began to moan and whine Jeonginâs name. He was always so good with his tongue and he never failed to make you scream with it every time.
Jeongin was taking his time with you and making you cum. Savoring every taste with a whine. "J-jeongin.. fuck- yâtongue I-i.." you felt him chuckling against your pussy, which made it throb more. He kept dancing his tongue around your folds and sucking on the bud of your clit. The hunger he felt in this very moment was something heâd never experienced. "Jeongin.. innie.. Iâm gonna cum!" You moaned. Jeongin kept going faster as you squeezed your legs around Jeonginâs head.
A moment of sobbing Jeonginâs name and finally you spilled all your juices into his mouth, pulling on his hair as you came. Electrolytes went through your thighs as you made a sticky mess in his mouth. He licked up your cum, helping you ride out your orgasm. He came up from between your legs and gave you a kiss, tasting yourself, which somehow made it ten times better. "Hope yâknow weâre not done.." he said. "W-what do you mean..?" He got into bed with you and lifted you up so youâd be straddling him.
"Ohhh.. you want me to ride you.. I see innie.."
"No. I need you to sit on my face."

A/N: Hi my loves<33
HI GUYSSSS IM NOT DEADDD LMAOOOOO. Girllll Itâs been a LONGGGGGGGG ass couple of months. So many things of happened, school has been the reason I havenât written jack shit in so long bro. BUT SUMMER IS ALMOST HEREEE. So Iâm starting to make time for my hobbies again!! I have missed so much ugh. I had just started to feel like I was fitting in. But I will try to write a lot more, just be patient with me please đ. I have gained so much love of my writing even WHILE I was gone!!! Yâall inspire me to continue writing.
I love youuu. I hope you guys enjoy this for right now. Feel free to fill up my inbox with request! Iâm still filling them out. (Doesnât just have to be NSFW.) ANYWAY BYEEE I HOPE YALL EAT THIS UP BECAUSE I PUT MY LEFT TIT INTO THIS đŠâźď¸
âYou have to keep quiet before Joel hears us.â
Ellie whispered quietly on top of you. All three of you in one room, you, Ellie, and Joel. You guys had found a base full of survivors and they let you three in. Having to share a room just for one night until one of the survivors left tomorrow morning.
But fuck. Ellie couldnât wait.
It was a bad idea a horrible idea even. But in this apocalypse everyone has their urges. We are all still human with human needs and desires. And she couldnât fucking wait to get you to that base. On that mattress. Holding on to her for dear life.
âI canât I canât. Please Ellie.. I canât keep quiet.â
You said gasping in between your words, she was between your legs. Her strap deepening inside of you. Muscular body hovering over, grunting quietly in your ear as she motioned her body in and out of you.
âShh.. almost there baby almost there.â
She cooed. Your arms were wrapped around her and her hand covering your mouth. You made little gasps here and there. All this going on while Joel was asleep in the bed beside you and Ellieâs. Both of you praying to god he didnât hear you two.
The sensation felt so good on her clit, the surface of the strap bumping into her.
âFuck, you feel so good on me.â
She said against the skin of your neck.
âWrap your legs around me. Hold on.â
She said fixing her position a little bit. Ellie lifted her hand off your mouth for a moment wanting her baby to be able to breathe. Wrapping your legs around her, you could feel the heat vibrating off her sweaty body. It only made you hungrier. Ellie still in her tank top, you were in her brown flannel.
No bra on no shirt no nothing. Just that flannel covering your tits. Her eyes drop to them, starting to kiss your breasts while holding still. Not fucking you just yet. You groaned, fingers immediately rushing to her brunette strands.
âElâs.. fuckâŚâ You whined.
She sucked and kissed on your breasts hard for a few moments. Before getting back into her stance. Kissing your forehead.
âIâm gonna go faster mâkay?â
âGonna make my girl cum for me.â
She said rubbing your puffy clit. Sloppily kissing her in response. Legs spread wide so she could insert herself back in. Legs wrapped around her waist again and arms wrapped around her broad shoulders. Starting to move at a slow pace working her way up to fuck you harder.
The bed creaking at Ellieâs pace. Starting to get louder and louder but you were almost there. Thatâs all that mattered to Ellie was making you cum. She could give two fucks about the bed creaking, when your juices were already melting on her dick. Fucking you faster and faster till you started to call out for her again. Ellie placing her veiny hand back on your mouth. Tears forming your eyes, the both of you hadnât felt this much pleasure in a very long time. Especially since the apocalypse, the two of you yearning for satisfaction.
When you started reaching your climax she started to reach hers. Her jaw opening wide and eyes rolling back. Trying to keep herself quiet when Joel started shuffling in the bed. But Ellie couldnât stop. You felt too good.
âFuck..! Fuck Iâm cumming!â She whispered somewhat loudly in your ear.
Breath getting faster for the both of you. Your muffled moans filling the room. Tears rolling down your cheeks from the pleasure. The pleasure was even better since you couldnât moan like you usually do.
Forcing you to take it all down..

âââââââââââââââââââ
how did you, somebody who literally never goes out end up at a packed STRIP CLUB on a friday night? well you have your friends to thank you for that! your friends were always like âwhy donât you go out?â âitâll be fun, i promiseâ and âjust this once, please!â eventually you started to get tired of them saying this stuff so you finally gave in and decided to waste your friday night this.
ây/n, i promise youâll love this!â one of your friends say. âyea, and what if i donât?â you say back. this causes your friends to roll their eyes in a sarcastic annoyance. âso, itâs the experience that counts, now come on letâs get in!â one of your other friends say as you guys enter the strip club. (pretend getting idâed doesnât exist here đĽ°)
your goodness this was probably one of the craziest things youâve ever seen. this huge strip club filled with tons of men and almost half naked women, it was kind of an odd sight for you. you didnât even notice that you stopped in your tracks until one of your friends notices and says ây/n? you ok?â you nodded and your friend gave you a soft smile âiâll be at the bar, come over if you need anything!â your friend says before she walks over to the bar, along with your other friends, leaving you alone.
you decided to just sit at one of the lounges and go on your phone, occasionally looking up at the pole dancers (i canât blame you) until a specific one catches your eye. she was beautiful, those captivating cat eyes, that beautiful ginger hair, and stunning physique. you felt like you were being hypnotized with her beauty.
that wasnât it, she actually walked off the stage, to you! âhey your cute, whatâs your name?â you honestly thought you were dreaming. âmy name is⌠y/nâ you were honestly starting to forget your name
âthatâs cute, i like that name.â you started blushing like crazy. âare you busy right now?â she asked. when she asked that you started to think about your friends, what they would think.
you thought that they would want this since they were the ones who took you out anyways. so, you nod your head no. âperfect! come with me!â she says after taking you into a room. the room was dimly lit with a chair in the middle. âcan you sit in that chair?â she asks and you do just that.
sheâs smiling and looks happy. randomly, she takes off her bra. âare you okay with this?â she says. you nod , excitedly waiting to see whatâll happen next. âalright, so i assume your also ok with this..?â she says as she goes to pull off your shirt, showing off your red bra. you start blushing like crazy. âyes, please continueâ you speak out.
she goes down and pulls off your skirt and wet panties and starts going DOWN ON UR PUSSY. she starts to lick and kiss on your clit, slowly going deeper and into your g-spot. you were in heaven; you were a moaning mess and this was one of the best feelings you ever had.
âi-im closeâŚâ you manage to speak out. she goes faster and faster as soon as she hears your words, destined to make you cum. out of the blue she adds 2 fingers. you couldnât handle it and had to cum all over her mouth & fingers.
âyou did great. now, do it again for me.â you honestly felt tired from the first orgasm but manage to get the courage to cum again for her.
you spread your legs open, ready for her mouth again.
she smiles on your glistening pussy, then goes down to lick off the cum. she starts to each you up again like sheâs hungry as FUCK. you already felt like cumming the moment her lips hit your clit.
you couldnât help but push her head deeper inside. you didnât want her to stop, it felt too good. âiâm close⌠a-againâŚâ you said in between moans.
as soon as you said that, you came. all over the chair you were sitting on aswell. she chuckled, âi make you feel that good?â
you nodded tiredly. after that orgasm you were DRAINED. you also checked the time and noticed that it was late. âi really have to goâŚâ
âawh, already? ok then.â she says as she gets up. you start to put back on your clothes and take your bag. âthanks for that, it honestly felt goodâ you say under your breath, which she still hears
âiâll make you cum more, trust meâ she says she winks and waves goodbye
you quickly leave, not noticing her comment and manage to meet your friends about to leave. âgirl where were you? we were looking all over for youâ
âitâs not special anyways,â you said, âletâs just get goingâ you say as you quickly leave and get into the car, your friends trailing behind you.
as you got in the car you checked your bag, everything that was originally there, was there! but there was something else in your bag. it was a note and it read âhwang yeji (the girl who fucked you) 000-000-0000, call me ;)â

if youâre still taking request, could i ask for more gwen content? iâm STARVING for fluffy romantic headcanons for gwen!!!đđ
please and thank youuu!!!<33
youâre awesome! ・ďž(ďžÂ´Ď`ďž)ďžď˝Ą
GWEN STACY RELATIONSHIP HEADCANONS
- how she is in a relationship (gwen stacy x gn!reader, fluff hcs)
a/n - thank you for this request!! iâll be answering more soon :)
- her eyes always light up when youâre present. like, they visibly start sparkling. she hates when you point it out, but itâs so obvious- her eyes widen, her lips part into a smile, and her cheeks redden. she might not be good at saying it, but she loves you.
- whenever she practices with her band, her eyes are on you. all of her bandmates know it and they give each other sideways glances during their songs.
- most dates with her are informal and impromptu. sheâll show up at your door with a bag of takeout and a grin, leading you across the city to one of her favorite spots high above the common crowd. sheâll lean against you and people watch as you stare down at the buildings and ant-sized population.
- she keeps a little camera in her pocket to snap quiet photos of you when youâre out together. sheâll go through them at home and smile at the memories.
- she was very nervous when she brought you over to meet her father, mostly because she thought he would be weird about it, but he ended up liking you. youâre forever invited to their family dinners, and he let you know that you can see his daughter whenever you want to.
- gwen will always encourage you to embrace your individuality and pursue your passions. sheâs a passionate person herself and knows what it feels like to have your interests stomped down. she is nothing if not supportive.
- she writes special songs for you and keeps the lyrics in a box under her bed. she may or may not show them to you; she thinks theyâre embarrassing, but you think theyâre incredibly sweet.
- her sarcasm keeps you alive sometimes. itâs a little infuriating, but youâre glad itâs a part of her personality.
- physical affection from gwen hurts. she never actively tries to injure you, but skin-to-skin contact with her consists of punches, nudges, and noogies. one time, she misjudged her strength a bit and spent the rest of the week trying to make up for it with gifts and hugs.
- if you ever want to dye your hair, sheâll dye a lock of hers the same color. in fact, she might do that with your natural hair color. if itâs anything other than blonde, sheâll buy some box dye and get to putting it on her strands.
- her rebellious spirit influences you quite a bit, to the dismay of the parental figures in your life. she takes you out on midnight escapades and helps you with whatever mischief she inspires.

THE ART OF KNOWING YOUR WORTH
yall this post is inspired by the SADDEST thing i witnessed the other day.So my guy friend pulls me to the side and hes talking about his ex talking stage thats OBSESSED with him and he doesnt want her. Basically she posted a tiktok talking shit about him and when he texted her about it SHE BEGGED FOR HIM BACK. She was saying shit like âam i really that ugly, is it my acne, am i rlly that gross, you just ruined my whole confidence â BASICALLY shawtys just picking apart her appearance (MIND YOUUU he never said shit about her appearance, he didnt even insult her) shes BEGGING bro she even wakes up at 4 am in the morning to text him âwhat makes me so uglyâ just to get ignored. He really dislikes her because shes so DESPERATE. Shes a very insecure young women and it just BREAKSS my heart yo. When i tell you shawty is the most BEAUTIFUL girl ever , i cant express it enough. Shes so insecure that people (mostly ONLY men đ) view her as ugly âšď¸. Her own insecurities sabotaged her, HOW YOU VIEW YOURSELF IS A REFLECTION OF HOW PEOPLE WILL VIEW YOU. *read that again and again until you UNDERSTAND* this shit be so sad and when all them loa blogs tell you to work on ur self concept before manifesting so your not in a state of desperation YOU DONT LISTENN . Yall think if she knew her worth she wouldâve ever begged for him back ?? thats right! no to the mother fuck she wouldnt!! damn and when this boy was telling me all this shit all i could do was look at the girl and frown bro, my heart manee âšď¸
your pressure baby, your fine shit, your sexy, dont let no man or a triffling ass hoe tell you something else princess.
anyways stay soft and stay safe baby!! đ i love yall please take care of yourselves!!
