Horse owner Black family who notoriously mistreat their horses to the point of pushing Sirius to leave and work for another company. McGonagall or something (i havent thought that out yet)

Before sirius runs away as a final fuck you to his parents names a horse 'Potter's Charm" and gets it out for its first race unharmed, it wins first and now Walburga and Orion have no choice but to keep it for a while.

Sirius leaves and joins James to take care of his horses, but before they can put it down, Regulus offers to take it. He offers to keep it racing and keep it winning, and he does

Every single race James comes second on whatever horse he ends up on "Gryffindor" "Marauder", they all end up second to Potter's charm.

Something in james makes him look to the stands where he expects Walburga to be, clapping politely, but instead, there is Reg, who is on his feet and cheering loudly and it makes James swoon.

Idk how it would end, maybe reg and sirius team up to get The Black family's license removed for animal mistreatment and reg joins sirius with james.

Could be jegulus or Prongsfoot or literally any ship but omg i cant stop thinking about it

To My Brother by a_silly_gander on ao3 is a beautiful lost days-era fic about Jason missing Dick; hit me as hard as you can by stupidandsad for Jason Todd a la fight club; and the long (long) series Alley Business by thetiniestteapot that features a Jason Todd rooted in Gotham community and resolute in his ideals! They might not all be to your taste, but I hope you like at least one of these :)

I’m a huge fan of Alley Business. Very intense, very good. I actually owe this author a debt of gratitude. The way the stories in Alley Business are organized thematically and overlapping in time gave me all kinds of ideas on how to organize my own series, Asymmetrical Warfare. I also really like the author’s newer series, nostros.

I don’t think I’ve read either To My Brother (I’m salivating over this one, I live for Lost Days fics and I love Jay and Dick as brothers) or hit me as hard as you can; I will check them out!

1) GOOD IT'S GREAT, needs a bigger fandom outside hlvrai. Also maybe look into Black Mesa- the fan made modern remake that is *absolutely beautiful,* one of the few games that would probably actually be worth $60, but is actually only $20, and is a faithful recreation with modern technology.

2) siren pups are called houndeyes! Headcrabs are probably p obvious, but also, the squid face dogs are bullsquids, and the three-armed aliens are vortigaunts!

I shall play Blue Shift then fuck yeah!!! Was just about to start Half Life 2 so I’m glad I found that out beforehand and play everything in series! I’m absolutely gonna check out that fanmade game that sounds so cool!

As a kid I was pretty much fully isolated from video games as a whole and honestly it’s been a BLAST playing games that are spoiled or well known for many but completely unknown for me! I finished playing the Portal series a few weeks ago and MAN I now know why it is on such a high pedestal!! The games are wonderful and the characters are absolutely iconic. Currently going through well known earlyish PC games, the Doom games, Portal, Half-Life, and slowly chugging my way through chronologically so I can see how video gaming as a whole progressed and evolved! It’s so neat! It’s really hard trying to play a few games though, lots of games expect you to know a lot of stuff so I have to watch lots of videos to make sure I’m not forgetting a Super Important button that does a Super Important Game Mechanic. It’s so cool tho!!!! I’m having such a great time!!!!!!! Thanks for the ask my guy!! :D

"I found something peculiar the other day, and given how much shizun cares about his city, this one thought it would be best to ensure it wasn't dirtying up the streets. It's making quite the joke of itself."

He heard the sharp inhale on the other side. He waited. Then, softly;

"Ah," shen qingqiu breathed. "Well then, dear husband, be sure you don't get lost wandering the city. It's quite dangerous. In fact, I feel it might be better if I sent Jason along with you. Just to make sure you're safe. He's been positively desperate to get out."
