Huggy Wuggy is a basketball fan because I thought it was really funny to imagine the creature playing basketball. That would be so unfair. And little Kissy in her sweater. Love her to bits though I do think I could have went about her colors better

I really adore these designs. When the Poppy Playtime autism inevitably simmers out I may just keep these for personal use.

Okay... so... I saw gameplay for Poppy Playtime chapter 3... and when I saw Dogday's transformation, I was scared... and at the same time...

Catnap has 4 parents with that being: Miss delight, mommy long legs, the prototype, & daddy long legs(step dad)

.Huggy, catnap, and boxy are brothers bc yes.

.Everyone's personalities remain the same(mostly)

.Huggy and catnap have beef for some reason 😭

.Catnap likes to spend more time with his other family(the original, huggy,& boxy)

.Miss delight & Mommy long legs both take care of baby long legs and catnap(both in the bigger bodies & cartoon)

. Mommy long legs and the prototype are divorced( we'll it's not like they were ever legally together bc yk their toys. And also because playtime co made daddy long legs, but mml and dll are marketed as a couple they don't really like each other)

. Catnap doesn't speak a lot due to his voice box being partially broken, therefore causing it hurts to speak.

. Catnap is poppy's uncle( huggy is poppy's dad)

. Kissy tries to distance herself from everyone besides poppy(after the hoj)

.kissy is poppy's mom( or like a mom, at least)

. Sometimes, catnap will enter the playhouse and just stare at dogday for extended periods of time and leave without saying a word( what can i say he loves his dear heretic)

. Even though catnap is supposed to be the scary antagonist and the ruler of playcare, he has a huge soft spot for children

. Releasing poppy gas hurts catnap's throat sometimes

. Mommy long legs & catnap relate to each other in a way. Both not knowing that they were helping playtime co experiment on the children. Like mother like son after all

. Catnap tries to stay as far away from Miss Delight as possible. But she's kinda been having an effect on him. He's slowly becoming slightly unhinged as well

. While Miss Delight is furious at her son for locking her in a room for a very long time, she knows good, and well, if she tried to lay her hands on him, she'd be in pieces

POPPY PLAYTIME chapter 3 analysis… PART 2

ALRIGHT IT'S QUEEN AGAIN. I know, I know... IM STILL NOT DONE WITH POPPY PLAYTIME. But guys... I hadn't covered everything in the last post and obviously there are still many questions left unanswered. I'm going to see where these questions go and what answers I might be able to come up with. But hey, enjoy the ride! 😘💪

So first off, I didn't talk about the reversed audio that appeared during the hallway sequence after going into 'home sweet home.’ 😤😤😩THE ONLY REASON i didn't, was because I didn't hear it previously in the gameplay I was watching. However, I was just searching around other peoples gameplays and I heard this audio and so I decided to find out what it actually says.

The audio reveals: “I find your presence intrusive. After all this time you return, you come in here and you kill and murder, you pillage and destroy! Your presence was demanded 10 years ago and you didn't show up! 8/8/1995, you were supposed to be here. Why weren't you here? You missed the event, you missed the meeting, you missed the party! You have no right to be here. 8/8/1995."

So this confirms that ‘the hour of joy' did happen on the 8/8/1995 and that the game is placed 10 years after. Also what may confirm that we, as the protagonist came back because of guilt, is the writing on the floor. While walking through the halls as the reversed audio plays, what can be seen on the floor is the words: 'Guilt Haunts You’ These words also appear on other places such as walls.

Before this sequence we walked into red gas that seemingly makes us either hallucinate or fall into a gas-induced sleep. But either way Catnap can somehow control the people who inhale this gas, and perhaps the hallucinations they have from it. This can be proved by Catnap speaking through the radios and appearing for split seconds to stalk the protagonist.

Furthermore, it's interesting how the reversed audio was so accusatory. This further expands on the theory that the protagonist is an important figure in Playtime co. The experiments, or seemingly just Catnap wanted us there, 'demanded our presence' to be there.

Also you may be wondering who was speaking on the reversed audio. I believe Catnap was the one speaking, this is the most likely answer since during one of the tapes Catnap said a line and the voice he had was the same exact voice that was in the reversed audio. There are other theories but l'm sure it was Catnap speaking since he could have also been the one telling us "Don't move. Don't move an inch” and “Get up” during the end of the sequence as he was watching/stalking us the whole time.

Now, another question that we may be thinking about is, what happened to all the children in the Play-care orphanage during 'The Hour of Joy'? Now we know that many of the kids were used as test subjects for the experiments in order to find the secret to immortality or resurrect people who had passed away- Elliot Ludwigs child, for example. But there wasn't just a couple children living in the orphanage, there had to be lots more that hadn't been used for experiments yet.

We know from Miss Delights conversation with Catnap the he locked the children away somewhere so Miss Delight couldn't get to them, and all the employees died. But Catnap said the children were safe, so what happened to them? The answer to this is that... We don't know yet! There are many, many theories out there and some say that perhaps they all got eaten, had already been turned into toys or are probably still alive out there, somewhere...

We have to assume that if they were still alive, the children didn't leave the factory because i mean, it should be obvious to the outside world if dozens of orphans came out from the ground and suddenly rejoined society. 😭 We know that there was a food shortage years after the events of ‘The Hour of Joy’ so it's hard to fully assume the children could have survived ten years in the factory, but really, who knows?

Obviously they didn't intend to kill the children, since Catnap wouldn't have locked the children away from Miss Delight. There's also another theory that says the prototype was using the poppy flowers to continue the experiments with the remaining kids, to turn itself human again. BUT! We won't be finding out until possibly the next chapter.

About Miss Delight and the lore surrounding her, I don't really know a lot other than her conversation with Catnap from the tape and that she is one of the worst of the monster murders that occurred during ‘The Hour of Joy’. However I have read around that she was once a kind and sweet teacher, but when ‘The Hour of Joy' happened, her and her sisters were locked in a room by Catnap.

Notes found in the game during the school section reveal that Miss Delight slowly succumbed to madness and went insane. She formed a makeshift weapon and called it Barb, even considering it as a living person later on (which is crazy 🙀). According to the notes scattered around in the school, being locked in the school for so long after ‘The Hour of Joy’ and being singled out by the other teachers to die first caused Miss Delight to go as far as cannibalising the rest of the teachers/her sisters, stemming from her desperation to survive.

Her desperation would soon develop into a twisted, sick obsession for bloodshed. Had Catnap not hidden the children from Miss Delight, she would have killed them all as well. 😔☝️

I know there are so many more secrets and questions needed to be answered but that's all I have for today. Poppy Playtime chapter 3 has shined new light on so many new possibilities and now that so much has been revealed, I'm sure that we will be able to come to a conclusion soon. Poppy Playtimes “Playcare” is just like The Promised Neverland

Most kids in Playcare believe they’ll be adopted into loving family’s (difference in poppy playtime is some actually do)

If a kid is chosen for experiments they are usually given a farewell ceremony and taken out of Playcare (like how Isabella takes Connie out of the orphanage to be eaten by the demons)

Bigger Bodies Initiative (Children being used to help a bigger creature Keep form? Sounds like how demons eat humans to stay “sane and human)

The Playcare offers all the basic needs for the kids, such as food and education (basic Orphanage stuff but Shh)

The Mothers and Sisters match Ma Delight and her “sisters” (they raise the kids in the school environment… familiar…)

Playcare in its ruined state is a lot like Goldy Pond (a villian who hunts down the protagonist till a final battle? All in a fake town made to hide children? Yes)

This is mostly a joke but hey I found it unique

•Has a huge and obvious Crush on DogDay (and dreams of him lmao, even made a little plushie of him. (The mini critters / ruined critters, that but with his outfit.) and mimicked / matched a few things with him and the rest. If you put her in as background character, feel free to have that mini DogDay being carried around in my arms! I would love to see me carrying a tiny DogDay or just watching him from afar for some reason-?)

•Can also make mini plushies of other Critters that aren’t canonical and are part of the Space Riders Crew.

•Works as a BackUp for DogDays crew / the Smiling Critters if any of them are too injured to go out, or unhealthy in general.

•When not being a backup, usually helps around within the SpaceCraft by doing maintenance, cleaning, cooking, programming, nursing, gardening, experimenting, and mainly Quality of Life. (I guess you can say I’m HouseWife material-?)

•The lines that are on her outfit are Pink, sometimes teased for being a bit shorter then most of the Space Riders. (I feel like most of their heights is around 5,4ft - 6ft. My height for it is 5’0. Noticeable height difference.) White Jacket/Outfit,Boots,Skirt and Leg Warmers. (Leg warmers are a bit less bright of a white to distinguish between Leg Warmers and Skirt.) The belt is black.

•Uses crescent earring as a way to communicate (like an agent.) if needed.

•Often seen all around the space station, doing various tasks or multitasking, when relaxing or on break, just cuddling the Mini DogDay plushie I have. (Actually asked him to model for it, 😭🩵)

•Has a fear of the Dark and Abandonment, with severe Inner Child wounds and can break easily. In this AU it’s strengthen since people have to go in and out, as well as the dark being inescapable because it’s space.

•Contacts the leader of each crew to see if they need help on their mission, if they say yes, immediately goes out and heads on over to help for free.

•Has the power of Stars, such as moonlight, sunlight or stars in general. (Lighting up places, summoning the moon with stars for a bit, sending stars at enemies, idk if that makes sense lmao.)

SUMMARY: Big crush on DogDay with a mini plushie on him, does majority of the jobs here (Maintenance,Cleaning,Gardening, Cooking, experimenting, programming, and nursing.(Housewife material.), helps others and checks in on them, keys to almost all the places in the spacecraft, helps with missions, powers of stars in general.
