Here are 𝟭𝟬 Easter Activities to do with the family!

𝟭. 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝗴𝗴 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝘁/𝘀𝗰𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝘂𝗻𝘁

Plan an easter egg hunt for your little ones. My children love searching for clues & chocolate eggs around the house or if it's dry, doing it outside in the garden.

𝟮. 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀/𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀

Growing food, such as planting seeds teaches children about nature, nutrition, responsibility for caring for something, and about where their food originated. It could even help picky eaters develop more of an interest.

𝟯. 𝗘𝗴𝗴 𝗱𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴

Make hard boiled eggs and paint or colour them with pens. A great tradition in most households & there are lots of tutorials online for how to decorate them up!

𝟰. 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲

The tradition in Germany to decorate the branches of trees and bushes with eggs for Easter. The egg is an ancient symbol of life all over the world. Eggs are hung on branches of outdoor trees and bushes and on cut branches inside

You can buy pre-made items like sticker books, scratch art, Bird Houses, pottery, masks etc or you can look online and print out alsorts of items from hats to colouring sheets

Get your culinary head on and bake up a storm. There are lots of Easter based recipes out there for you to try. It can be as simple, messy and fun as you want it to b

𝟳. '𝗘𝗴𝗴' 𝘁𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴

Fill up some water balloons and play a game of 'egg' toss. The aim is to keep the balloons in one piece as you throw them from person to person. If you're feeling really brave, use real eggs!

𝟴. 𝗘𝗴𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀

Put the decorated boiled eggs to good use and have yourselves a good old fashioned sports day - inspired fun in the garden with a family egg and spoon race.

This one is always weather permitting in Scotland - but sunshine always seems to fall on the bank holiday weekend. You could meet up with another family and plan a picnic in the park with the kids.

honestly the funniest gideon to me might be immediately post-show. where hes fresh out of jail on parole and trying to be a better person. my headcanon is they commuted his sentence to a mixture of therapy and community service (they uh. had no choice after the decision to both ignore weirdmageddon and also the prison got destroyed) and he accepted this in his attempt to Be Nicer

but also it means hes walking around town like this for a while

#do you think he goes back to school. with an ankle monitor. 'what did you do over summer gideon' 'jail time.' 'what'#ghost-eyes picks him up on his motorbike to go get ice cream after school or something #the funny thing is. i think his prison mates are the best thing to happen to gideon in years. because while they're all criminals #theyre also like... well adjusted adults. so when he starts acting crazy they can temper that a little bit #ghost-eyes especially just becomes his cool new uncle who is the only person not afraid to go 'gideon dont do that brother'#i just think attempted reform gideon is really funny. hes trying his best! honest! he just also keeps wanting to murder people for a while #hes very [grits teeth] I Will Not Swear Vengeance On Anyone Today. hello! I'm currently watching the NT's recording of NYE, and its leaving the youtube channel on the 11th. I live in an area where I can't access the NT's normal subscription service, and I absolutely need to know how to access this again. I know you might not be the person for this question, but given your own love for Michael, I figured you might now a way for me to find this/download/rip the video so I can watch it again after it leaves the youtube page? It's rather quickly become a comfort watch.

Hi there! Absolutely, I am happy to help as best I can. Michael is utterly fantastic in Nye, so I very much understand wanting to rewatch it as much as you can. In terms of a download/rip of the video, I found one (with and without English subtitles) on VK here and someone has also uploaded it to Dropbox here. I think @invisibleicewands might also have a source for a download, if they want to chime in.
