One of the first things Gwen and Hobie bond over is their love for the Sex Pistols. There's no universe in which they wouldn't love them, and Gwen is pretty geeked out about finding out she can actually see them live in Hobie's dimension.

So the pair tend to abuse their dimension-travelling privileges to go to different rock shows all the time because let's be honest who wouldn't.

Headcanon that Hobie is the one who convinced Gwen to dye her hair tips pink ✨

Hear me out: she already had the cool girl rock-punk aesthetic with the buzz haircut on one side and the piercing, but after she meets him suddenly her hair is a little pink.

When they met, I can imagine Hobie went like, "Wicked look. Can I dye your hair tho?" And Gwen was like, "Sure, why the hell not?"

They diy each other's clothes and Gwen has a oversized blue crochet cardigan with pink and white flowers and kittens pattern that Hobie's mama made for her as a welcome to the family gift

They are both artists in canon (Gwen dances ballet and Hobie plays guitar) but I also headcanon that they both love to draw and paint and while Gwen loves watercolor Hobie is a huge fan of crayons and oil pastels and they're always trading art and portraits of each other

They wear matching make up and nail polish bcuz I think it's cute so whatever

Hobie braids Gwen's hair and it doesn't matter if they chat or listen to music or just do it in silence bcuz quality time spent together and that's one of their main love languages

Gwen diy funky jewelry like cold ceramic rings and weird earrings they use together

This might sound weird but I don't think they plan on getting married at all or at least not so soon. I mean, it doesn't really matter to them, they're happy with the way things are and thinking too much about the future makes them uncomfortable, I think they would be fine just dating (this one is extremely self projecting btw since I kind of relate them to me and my bsf/qpp in a platonic way of course but still)

Just went down the ghostpunk rabbit hole and honestly, I’m sold. Less so for Sony spider-verse Gwen and Hobie, but for the comic book versions of themselves. *chief kiss* It kind of eats. At the very least they deserve to be platonic soul mates.

Hobie seemingly being the rough scary looking alternative dude when he’s really a sweet chill guy who’s more of a golden boyfriend than anything else. Gwen acting as the always happy, positive bubbly personality when she’s just masking the deep depression threatening to drown her. They can only share their realest, most vulnerable version of themselves to each other. I just think that’s kind of sweet.

typically you cant touch a ghost, but what if the ghost puts a sheet over its head scooby-doo style? then based on the logic that the ghost can hold up the sheet, you should be able to feel the shape of the ghost's face through it
