Your house was that one house that has rumors on it. Every kid was scared of your house because it looked a bit old and scary so of course they’re going to say it’s haunted. Bill didn’t believe the house was haunted and Pete dared him to go near the house to prove it isn’t haunted.

When the boys arrived at the (your) house, Pete, Josh, and Jerry stood behind the chain link fence as Bill walked towards your house and kicked the side of your house and turned to look at his friends

Bill: “see? I told you it wasn’t haunted… why do you guys look so shocked?”

Redneck!Reader: “what’re you doin’ on my lawn.”

Bill whipped his head around and saw you holding a shotgun and pointing it at Bill, who immediately ran off of your lawn and him and his friends ran away.

Redneck!Reader: “god damn kids..”

After that whole thing, you went to Bill’s mom’s house and told her that her son stepped onto his lawn and kicked his house, Bill’s mom forced Bill to apologize and Bill was surprised that you were surprisingly calm about the whole thing and only cared for a simple apology

You actually weren’t that bad of a guy, you just liked being alone and just had a blunt personality.

When you got to know the boys, they wouldn’t leave you alone and that made you dislike them even more (LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER.)

You would teach Pete how to use a gun because he’s the most eager out of them all to use one

Josh talked your ear off as you fix Josh’s mom’s car, you didn’t stop him because if you did he’d be even more annoying about how you have to know all about Star Trek because you don’t watch anything fantasy

Jerry would tell you all about DND and would call you an orc because you remind him of an orc and you just let it happen because you don’t care for stuff like that

Anytime Bill says something stupid or manipulative, you would smack him up across his head and would yell at him about his stupid behavior

Imagine you seeing them getting bullied and you step in and all the boys stand behind you while flipping the bully off with smug smirks

Anytime they needed to be punished, you would make them do most of the heavy lifting in chopping wood, washing and putting away the dishes, fixing your truck, and walking your dog. Because how else are they gonna earn your respect?

They would and will yap your ear off if you say you’ve never seen a popular show before

You let Josh drive your truck once and Josh bragged about it to the rest of the club

Bill: “you should cut your hair, having long hair is for females and sissys”

Redneck!Reader: “being a whiny bitch is pretty feminine to me, so why don’t you stop being a bitch?”

You don’t have a favorite (Jerry) you hate them all equally.

When you heard Pete talk about some 18+ snuff film he watched to his friends, you went over to him and hit him on the head and commented on how demented he sounded

Imagine you falling asleep on a show one of the boys put on and they decide to draw on your face and try to keep a straight face when you wake up

You have a lot of money and the boys don’t know where you get it from but they don’t question it

(Epilogue Eltingville cont)

So the reader used to be apart of the club like everyone else before the whole “Bill burning down Joe’s shop” fiasco that made everyone go their separate ways. I was thinking the reader probably didn’t keep up with anyone from the club and left on some pretty bad terms. So when they meet back up with the boys, things are tense and awkward. Eventually they get to talking things out (similar to Jerry and Bill did in the epilogue). You can decide whether things conclude well or poorly (I personally enjoy a happy ending but knowing these boys and their pettiness a little angst wouldn’t be surprising).

Is that enough info or should I give some more? I’m just spitballing off the top of my head lol. You can make things platonic or romantic, but either way the reader obviously had a close relationship to the club before hand. Also have the boys written separately if that’s not too much. But I wouldn’t mind if they’re grouped together if that’s easier for you. It’s your writing at the end of the day so write it however you want and feel would work best.

ELTINGVILLE CLUB EPILOGUE W READER (draft)

BILL DICKEY

-Bill was surprised you even spoke to him, your voice was as caring as it was before. He thought you would hate him, after he bullied you so much, made fun of you and broke your stuff when you guys were little.

-Had a little talk with bill after Josh and Pete were talking about how they didn't want Bill there, you apologized to Bill for what they said, and you asked him how he was doing.

-He scoffed at almost anything you said, even if you weren't talking to him and made a smart remark, and all you did was.. nothing you just ignored it. He stopped eventually, realizing you weren't giving him a reaction.

-He got real mad you stood up for Mandi. He just couldn't believe you were siding with her instead of him, your childhood friend. But you were right and he knew that.

-He exposed some of your childhood secrets with the table, as a result of him being mad at you, and you were just silent, you glared at him from across the table, you got up, he flinched and you did nothing but walk past him and leave.

JOSH LEVY

-He was happy to see you, he hasn't seen you in years, you were the only one who didn't overly call him fat and stopped when he asked you too, you guys hung out without the group sometimes.

-You, Him and Pete were talking about the cool memories you guys had until Jerry came back with Bill and they started arguing with him.

-After it all got settled down you Pete and Josh were talking again, until everyone averted their eyes to Jerry's girlfriend, You were all surprised, she was really pretty tbh.

-Bill made some sexist comments and ruined the ENTIRE mood, Josh watched you stand up for her and Jerry, thought you looked pretty cool honestly.

-The table got real fucking quiet after Bill started spitting shit out of his ass about you, he wanted to say something but you just stormed off before anything. He watched Pete and Jerry give him shit about it when you were gone.

PETE

-When he first seen you, he started laughing, asking how you got here, Josh joined in and you guys were talking and Pete brings up how you stole 500 dollars from your parents and how they beat your ass in front of the entire town, you laughed it off but god was it embarrassing.

-After you all sit down, your sitting in the middle of Josh and Pete, He wouldn't leave you alone about the job he got at Sick Mofo. He talked to you about all the stuff he did in the job, It was kinda sick actually.

Agnes Zawatsky

So, thanks to Evan Dorkin, I decided to give Agnes lore/headcanon. Because I love her, even though she was mentioned once.

Lore:

Who was Agnes before meeting Jerry? :

She's an average/unpopular girl. She wasn't attractive, the girl had acne and dressed as if she's preparing herself to spend her quality time in the library. After school she would spend her time in the school library as a personal assistant or be with her small group of friends who held up the usual book club.

How did she meet Jerry? What caused them to interact to one another? :

They both had the same Biology class, they never spoke to one another. There was never a reason for her to speak to him, and same with him. Until the teacher had assigned them both to work on a project with one another. Having to spend with each other for a week straight during class and afterwards. In such a short period of time, Agnes had picked up Jerry's interest with fantasy/DnD. Causing her to open up with her passion for literature, even showing him the written work she had done with her personal journal that she kept with her 24/7. A friendship between them both began to bloom from their special interests without judgement.

How did their friendship affect the Eltingville club? :

Jerry always seemed so... Distracted? Although he was still passionate with the club and when it came to hosting their usual campaign. The guy seemed eager to finish the club meetings earlier than usual, and would be the first one to leave the basement to head somewhere. Where? Who knows. Didn't help that every time in the hallway, he would always stand in a certain spot by Pete's locker, waving at a random girl that would pass by everytime after the 5th period. So giddy and happy, and Agnes was the same. Bill was the one who first began to pick this up.

Romantic or simply platonic? :

I would probably like to think it was more of a romantic in a sense. Although both of them never would want to admit it out loud due to fear of rejection. Agnes was the first girl who seemed to genuinely like being around Jerry without insulting or berating him. Jerry was a guy who seemed to appreciate her literature and would listen to her ramble about her concerns with her rough drafts.

Aftermath :

So, Agnes avoids Jerry as a plague. Thanks to Bill's lies, she feels as if everyone at school thinks she slept with Jerry. Jerry would guess that her avoiding him meant that she was no longer interested in being friends with him, which upsets him but goes back to his usual routine to forget.

Epilogue Agnes

Thanks to Bill, she is very hesitant around men in general. Afraid that a man she will befriend would automatically end up like Jerry. The only men she interacts with are her coworkers at her job, family members, or Bill.

Bill and she aren't friends, not one bit. But she often checks up on him. Only kept contact with him because she felt as if she owed him for telling her about Jerry's inappropriate comments towards her.

She's a news anchor, and went to University to get the proper education to get to that position.

I would add more headcanons soon as a teenager and more as an adult. My brain is going to explode, and this post is already long.

I'm making a separate post detailing his lore. Here's a quick basic rundown/synopsis for now. Stuff is subject to change as I figure out lore.

Jay is roughly 17/18 during the main comics and pilots, like the guys, and 26/27 during the epilogue. They're the youngest and shortest of the group.

Jay is also trans!! He uses exclusively he/him during the main comics and pilot, but switches to primarily they/them in the epilogue though they're still cool with he/him, too.

I headcanon that the guys created the club sometime in middle school when they were around 12/13. Jay joined shortly after the club's formation and was given the role of secretary of video games.

Like the others, his love of video games started out as genuine innocent enjoyment and a desire to have fun with his friends, but turned into an unhealthy obsession pushed into being a gatekeeping snob. The type to cry "fake fan" if you haven't put 300+ hours into each and every game within a series. By the epilogue, they've mellowed out significantly and has turned around to trying to make games and provide resources for up and coming developers like themself. Redemption Arc type stuff.

Bit of an artist during the comics, and can't take any criticism either. Will either blow up in anger or burst into tears, depends on if he's on his period lol. He gets severely burned on his right arm (his dominant hand) after Bill burns the comic shop down. He's still able to move and use his arm, but not with as wide of a range of motion as before. Best comparison I can make (until I draw it) is Dunban's arm in Xenoblade Chronicles, but they can still grab/grip things decently well. After becoming disabled, Jay leans more into 3D modeling and 3D art since drawing is much more exhausting/painful.

Bill and Jay develop crushes on each other shortly after meeting. They eventually figure out each other's crushes, but refuse to admit it due to pure nervousness. However, as they become more toxic people, it turns more into hostility and aggression. Constantly getting into arguments and fighting. They make each other worse </3

At some point between Bring Me The Head Of Boba Fett and Bread and Suck-Asses, they do try to start dating when Jay points out how their constant bickering is bringing down the club. They decide to just suck it up, admit to each other's faces they like each other, and start dating. Worst mistake of their lives tbh.

After The Intervention, things kind of get a little better for not only them, but between the entire friend group. Arguments are a little less intense, they don't get kicked out of Bill's house as often, and they actually start acting like friends again.

But all of that crumbles when Bill tries to get a job at Joe's comic shop. He starts spiralling and undoing all of his progress with mending his friendships and relationship, and ultimately still causes the events of This Fan... This Monster!. The fire destroys not only the shop but any chance of Jay and Bill remaining together.

And then even more stuff between This Fan... This Monster! and the epilogue + post canon stuff that I still gotta write aaaaaaaa

You were an animator. You really like your job but sometimes you feel like your boss just likes to overwork you and see you miserable but you don’t let that affect your personal life!

You were at the mall when you saw four boys getting yelled at by the store owner, you decided to step in and see what the racket was about. So, apparently the boys got caught trying to steal some action figures but you decided to be nice today and pay for the figures for them, because why not.

You kept running into the boys and you kept getting them out of the trouble they got themselves into and those deeds made them attached to you, specifically Jerry

Jerry had good parents, but they weren’t great. Think of a stereotypical Christian family that doesn’t like anything fantasy related because they think it’s from the devil, so he got attached to you because you got him out of trouble and was willing to put up with his silly little rants

You mentioned that you were a bit of an animator and that immediately caught Jerry’s attention and wanted to see some of your work, and you showed him some of your work but he noticed that one of the animations looked familiar but brushed it off as just art style similarity.

The boys would annoy you endlessly with countless of questions, like typical child/teenage fashion, like ‘do you have a job?’ ‘how much money do you make?’ ‘do you have children?’ ‘are you depressed?’ etc etc

You met the boys parents on unfortunate circumstances (the boys got into a fight and you dragged each one of them home individually.)

Bill would beg you for money when he wants something and you wouldn’t give in most of the time because you don’t wanna spend your money on useless stuff.

Jerry would find out you were an animator of his favorite show when he was over at your house because he needed super glue and saw your animation tablet and saw that you were currently working on a new episode of his favorite show, he was shocked and when you came back and gave him the super glue he immediately ran out of your house and to the Bill’s basement to tell the rest of the Eltingville Club what he saw.

They won’t leave you alone now. You keep getting asked to kill off a character or make a character do something that they wouldn’t do and you had to explain that you weren’t the storyboard writer and you were just an animator (they were a bit disappointed)

You once woke up because you heard something fall, but when you went to the kitchen you saw Jerry standing in the middle of the kitchen as a bowl is on the floor.

ParentalFigure!Reader: “why and how are you in my house.”

Jerry: “I was sad and your window was open.”

You gave him a stern talking to but you did let him stay so you could comfort him, you both sat in the living room and watched a show while talking and you could tell Jerry was trying to not breakdown crying. and then you asked the magical question ‘are you okay?’ and he proceeded to breakdown and cry and you hugged him to try and comfort him (you aren’t the best at comforting people but you tried and succeeded.)

Jerry would visit you almost everyday after school and would hangout at your house, unfortunately, his parents found out and thought you were a creep and almost called the cops on you but you explained to them that he saw you as an idol (he actually saw you as a second parent but he didn’t tell you that.)

You drive the boys wherever because they don’t have a drivers license and probably will never get one.

Jerry accidentally called you ‘mama/papa’ once while you dropped the club off at the movie theater and everyone was quiet before Josh started laughing and Pete joined while Bill teased him and Jerry denied everything

At a public pool, You were having a conversation with Bill’s mom when the Eltingville Club were in the water and Bill’s mom was venting to you about how hard it was to raise Bill so she was glad you took care of him most of the time

Jerry once drew you as an elf and was embarrassed to show you the drawing but when he did you expressed how much you loved it and that made him happy!

The boys don’t like it if some other adult tries to flirt with you, specifically Jerry.

You love those kids and they love you (platonically)

The reader is convinced to stay, that they'll be happier with the wolves and be a family together (Disney's Silly Symphony).

Bill (Beastars) struggles and blames the herbivore reader because he is obsessed with them.

BoJack Horseman as a child, where the reader is a woman who found him sad and alone one day, crying about his home life. And reader got like fuck it, he’s mine now, and found a way to adopt him. And we see how he adapts and how different he turns out in the future.

Chelsea x GN human reader who’s studying marine biology. The reader is not affected by Chelsea’s charm like everyone else is, and they much prefer to be around Ruby Gillman instead (Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken).

“Commoner” Reader eventually gains the attention of Pacifica and her parents because they manage to win all the competitions they enter into. The Big Ones:

A new animator for Warner bros comes in to work. They noticed the Warner sibling acting zany to the max and decided to doodle them one day. Once they finished their doodles of the Warner sibs, they went to buy a drink but left it on a table outside on accident. The Warner sibs see it and are amazed by it. But they are unknown to who is the artist behind these amazing drawings. The animator goes back to collect their sketchbook after getting their drink, of course, before the Warner sibs hide discreetly to see who the artist is. The animator sighs in relief to see that their sketchbook is back in their own hands. They quickly go back to their department before their lunch ends. The Warner siblings soon find their interest piqued in this animator, so they go to see them, but the animator has no clue on who “the Animaniacs” are because they were born after their show ended. They become good friends. Instead of scowling and getting mad at their jokes, they simply laugh and are patient with them. Eventually, one day, pinky and brain make a portal gun where if they shoot someone, they will be teleported to another timeline. The animaniacs find this portal gun and start to shoot everywhere for fun and accidentally shoot their animator friend. They are distraught and ask pink and brain for help. Animator friend gets teleported to animaniacs 1993, in the year 1995. They take the role of temp nurse with hello nurse and Dr Scratch n sniff . Of course, finding pinky and brain to help them to go back to their world (2024). From their animator friend disguised as temp nurse, meets the Warner siblings and start their friendship all over again except in the year 1995. The animator friend always laughed when the Warner brothers say “Hello nurse” and dot replying “it’s hard to be the strong one”. Always greeting them with a hello and how are you. Animator friend even stuck up for them when the ceo and Dr Scratch n sniff was talking smack about them. Eventually, the brain managed to find a way for the reader to go back home. The Warner sibs were sad and that’s when animator friend told them that they were from the future and that they were friends in that timeline and that they will return but instead they will work there as a different profession. Animator friend returns, and all is back to normal. The Warner sibs don’t realize that animator friends and temp nurses are the same person. So after the day animator friend went back to their timeline, the animation department got egg bombed, and all their equipment had stayed in the department, so all the animators had to take temporary jobs in the studio. Animator got the nurse job again, dr scratch n sniff recognizes animation friend (he knew it was animation friend disguised as temp nurse because they needed a disquise to stay in the studio so brain can get the portal gun ready to send friend home. Brain explained to scratch n sniff, and the 3 of them were a team temporarily) . And since the hello nurse was away on vacation dr scratch n sniff needed the help. The Warner sibs decided to pay a visit to Dr Scratch n sniff and unknowingly see temp nurse (animation friend). They were ready to cry and jump on animation friend, saying how much they’ve missed them. Dr Scratch n sniff is confused going “guys it animator friend you just saw them 15 min ago”. That’s when they connected the dots and were like “what!” During the next 3 weeks, they were attached to animator friend like glue.

Riddler and Batman rivalry, with Riddler's obsession being more romantic and Batman's being more platonic (BTAS).

You used to work with Edward back at Competitron, helping out with the game a little bit (possible romantic tension between the two of you), but distanced yourself after the whole 'Trying to kill Mockridge' thing. Batman, at one point, had come around to ask you questions about him and your employer. After Edward got sent to Arkham, maybe you were writing to him, hoping he could get better, but really not visiting him, maybe just intimidated by the place or too scared to see fully what he's become.

Batman checks up with you frequently, making sure you're not too disheartened by Edward becoming the Riddler, along with helping you move on. Later, when Riddler gets trapped in virtual reality, it's the first time you really visit him, and you really start waiting for him to wake up — Batman is there of course, because he really doesn't like the idea of leaving you alone with him, coma-like state or not.

Eventually, when Riddler comes back, you help him get used to being back in his body — physical therapy and whatnot — helping him be on good behaviour — leading up to him being on parole.

Finally, Riddler's free, the Wacko Toys deal is going great, and he actually has the connection with you he lost long ago. Things couldn't be better! Until Batman comes in, knowing he isn't reformed at all. You fight against the idea, because why wouldn't you? You believed in Edward, and you hope that eventually Batman sees it, too.

Finally, the Wacko Toys party; and Riddler and you are actually having the time of your lives — catching up, playful flirtation, all the fun stuff. Then Batman comes in again, telling Riddler in a one-on-one that he knows he 'can't help himself', and how long does 'he plan on lying to you?'

Jerry really likes hanging out with you and is happy you enjoy the same stuff he is into and you both would hangout almost all the time. You, Jerry, and Pete would hangout together and are the bestest friends out of the whole club.

You, out of the whole club, have the most money and keep getting asked for money from the boys.

Pete was the one who caught feelings for you while everyone else saw you in a platonic light. Anytime you guys would hangout together he honestly thought you were trying to hint to him that it was a date (it wasn’t.)

One day, you both were watching a horror flick and you complimented the male actor

and Pete slowly turned to look at you and was like

That moment was when you had to explain that you were lesbian, meaning you liked girls, and Pete was in denial but then racked his brain on how you looked at girls and acted differently around them than you do with boys.
