This is more so for the TV pilot version and not so much for the comic version. I LOVED it the moment i saw it and i’m so disappointed it was never picked up 😭 but at least we’re able to make our own content for it 🤷‍♀️

Please just remember that this is my interpretation, we can agree on some things and disagree on others, but that’s ok! If my interpretation isn’t for you then i encourage you to find content that works more for you and your interpretation. 💋

A- Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they like to show affection?)

- He is surprisingly more affectionate than some might think. Especially when he’s around the guys or other people in general. He likes being able to show you off like the precious gem you are. He considers you his most valuable collectible, though you have to tell him quite often to stop comparing you to objects. He likes to be able to have his hand on you at all times, wether it’s holding yours, around your waist, or placed gently onto your leg.

B- Best Friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

- Absolutely terrible. It would go one of two ways: 1- He wouldn’t be able to stop himself from being the raging misogynist that he is, constantly questioning your knowledge of everything you interact with. You would barely be able to get any words into a conversation without him cutting you off. Or, 2- He’d be so invested in the fact that a girl wanted to spend time with him that he’d try way too hard to make himself seem like the perfect guy. Nonstop staring, especially at your chest or thighs, opening every door and pulling out every chair, but he would also try to keep any other guy from getting close to you. He’d even go as far as staring down the cashier at the movies for looking at you too long.

C- Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

- He loves getting to cuddle, but only when it’s just the two of you. He’ll show you off all he likes, but he only likes to cuddle when he knows you won’t be bothered. It’s something he wants to be able to enjoy for as long as possible, being held close by a hot girl is something he can only imagine, why would he want it to end?

D- Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking, cleaning, etc.)

- He wants to, but children are out of the question entirely. He’d absolutely love to get married one day, specifically so he can tell people he’s not only married, but he’s married to an absolute dime. However, he doesn’t want anything to do with children. He thinks they’re too messy, too loud, too much responsibility, and he’ll have to constantly keep watch of his collectibles around them.

E- Ending (If they had to break up with their partner how would they do it?)

- If he did ever break up with you, it would be an immediate regret. You’re quite literally the only girl who’s ever wanted him and he wants to make sure it stays that way.

F- Fiancé (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

- He absolutely wants to get married, just as long as it’s to you. If he had it his way, your first date would’ve been at a wedding chapel, but realistically he wouldn’t put a specific date on it. He wants to make sure you can live together comfortably first, or at least until you’re able to get out of your parents places.

G- Gentle (How gentle are they? Both physically and emotionally)

- Not as gentle as you’d like him to be, but he’s learning. When he gets angry, rarely ever at you, he just needs a minute to get all his anger out before he apologizes and tries to word it in a way where you’d be able to understand why he’s so pissed off that Josh insisted on borrowing one of his comics for a day longer than planned.

H- Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

- He enjoys getting them, especially when he’s pulled in tight and held close to your chest. He says it’s comforting, but you know the real reason why he enjoys it. When he hugs you he tries his hardest not to squeeze you too tight, but he’s just happy he’s able to get close enough to a girl to do it.

I- I Love You (How fast do they say the L-word?)

- First day. You’d get through one date, converse over your shared interests, and as soon as you start yapping on and on about your favorite things he’s smitten. It feels nice to know that a girl, especially a hot girl, can be as obsessed with something as much as he is. When he says it for real he nearly cries when you say it back. He didn’t know that someone could find him likable enough to love.

J- Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

- Insanely jealous. It’s not to the point where it’s overbearing, but he will shoot dirty looks at cashiers if your transaction takes longer than normal or will immediately assume a guys normal common decency towards you is their attempt to take you away from him. He never blames you, it’s always the other guys who are trying to get you all for themselves.

K- Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

- Bill has absolutely no preference for when or where you want to kiss him. It’s only when he’s in front of his friends that he wants you to tone it down a little. He just doesn’t want them to use it for their own perverse imaginations. His kisses always start out gentle but he just can’t help himself with you sometimes. If his lips can reach it, you’ll get a kiss there.

L- Little Ones (How are they around kids?)

- Absolutely awful. He doesn’t like children, he finds them to be too annoying, and he can never see himself having any in the future. They’d want to get their grubby little hands all over his still boxed action figures and he’s never going to let that happen.

M- Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

- Surprisingly enough he does quite well in the morning. He has routines that does morning and night, though sometimes his ‘mornings’ are closer to 11 AM. On weekends he’ll lay in bed for a while, but other than that he’s up earlier than you for the most part. He just doesn’t want to wake you because he’s too busy focusing on the fact that there’s a girl asleep in his bed.

N- Night (How are nights spent with them?)

- He never goes to bed earlier than midnight, and that’s on a good day. How nights are usually spent in the basement with the guys doing their normal club things, but when he comes upstairs after they all leave he wants to get into bed with you as soon as possible. Most of the time you have to remind him to brush his teeth and take off his glasses before he gets into bed, but it’s only because he’s so eager to get you to lay with him and watch one of the Star Wars movies for the millionth time.

O- Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything at once or do they open up slowly?)

- He’d be very open with the things that are easy to read about him. He’ll go on and on about his interests, telling you every minor detail about every one of them as if theres going to be a test about it as soon as the conversation is over. It would take about a month, give or take, before he actually starts telling you about his own personal life. He needed to make sure you weren’t dating him on a bet before he gets too comfortable.

P- Patience (How easily angered are they?)

- He’s angered pretty easily but it’s never at you. You know that he can get into heated arguments pretty often with the guys, you’re used to hearing them scream at one another every time they’re together, but if he ever yells at you it’s only when he’s relaying the arguments from earlier on.

Q- Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they mention every little detail in passing or do they kind of forget everything?)

- He’d memorize everything about you like it’s his job. He can remember the most minute detail of a horror movie he saw once years ago and it’ll still come back to him like he watched it five minutes ago. He likes being able to know everything about you, especially when he sees how giddy you get when he remembers the little things. He sometimes has to keep himself from pointing things out when he’s with the guys and saying “(y/n) would like that!”

R- Remember (What is their favorite moment of your relationship?)

- When he first saw you. That moment replays in his head over and over again every time he thinks about you. Of course he gets some of the details mixed up, sometimes when he thinks about it he’ll imagine it as if you were a princess and he was a knight that was so captivated by your beauty, or an alien priestess who warped his mind to make him become obsessed with you. But he wouldn’t have it any other way.

S- Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

- He’s not necessarily overprotective, but he’s definitely a little bit possessive, he does question a lot of the other guys that are around you. He says that since he knows how they think, he knows how they act, and he doesn’t like it when the other guys in the comic shops or the movie theaters imagine you in all the ways that he likes to. He never thinks you’re doing anything to intentionally make these guys want you, it’s not your fault that you’re an absolute smoke show. He likes to always be around, just in case someone tries something with you.

T- Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

- At first he wouldn’t be the absolute best at remembering things like that, he’s just not used to it. In order to remember better he keeps lists of everything important: your birthday, anniversary, and he even has things like your favorite color, movie, restaurant and order. He tries his hardest with the little money he has, but he’ll always pick up something for you whenever he sees you. Plus, he knows that whenever he gets you something, he’ll always get something in return.

U- Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

- A smaller list would be his good habits. He’s gotten better overtime, especially when you tell him he’s not getting any until he does what you say. And in those cases, he does it happily. If you tell him to shower, he does it. If you tell him to clean, he does it. It’s just a little more difficult to get him to do these things on its own. The most difficult thing about him is his constant need for new things for his various collections, though you were able to find a compromise when you agreed that every time he bought something, he had to get something for you too.

V- Vanity (How concerned are they with their appearance?)

- Not very, though when it comes to specific occasions he makes sure to really focus on himself and how he might be perceived. For the most part, he’ll shower at least two to three times a week, he doesn’t mind if his hair gets greasy but when it gets unruly it becomes a problem. His routines make sure he brushes his teeth at least once a day and he never leaves the house without making sure he doesn’t look a complete mess. He’ll rewear clothes until they either smell or have a noticeable stain, or if he runs out of clean clothes entirely.

W- Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?)

- Absolutely. He can’t imagine life before you, and any time he can recall times before then he was in misery. He still gets into physical fights with the guys, and he still goes out and causes disturbances in all his local spots, but now he gets to do all those things with a girlfriend. One who listens to him and cares about him, and it’s nice to know that even with all his flaws he’s still got you.

X- Xtra (A random headcanon for them)

- He wants you to sit in with the club so badly, and it’s not like you’ve never been around them before, but he knows that if you’re around them for an extended period of time he knows where their minds might wander. He’s shown you things like all the movies and games and books they talk about, but there’s no possible way he can have you be around the guys for more than an hour.

Y- Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?)

- Interestingly enough, he would hate having someone that does everything he says. He wouldn’t want to have someone listen to everything he says and does anything he asks. Though he’ll never admit it, he likes having someone challenge him and tell him what to do.

Z- Zzz (What is a sleep habit of theirs?)

- He always needs something on when he sleeps, wether it’s a TV show or a movie, he needs something for background noise. It’s a lot easier to sleep with nothing on when you’re over, he says it’s because it’s comforting to have another person there, but even when you’re over he insists on putting on a movie to fall asleep to.

Dating Bill Dickey Headcanons!!

note: I got quite a few dating hc requests for Bill, so I did it :3. I hope these alright cause they were kinda rushed and I didn't do much proofreading SORRY SORRU

Good luck with this guy. He's insufferable.

A "Tsundere" as the weebs would call him..

He's literally the biggest asshole ever. He makes constant rude and unneeded comments towards you, but make sure to match his energy and insult him right back because it get him flustered when you're feisty.

God forbid anybody other than him is mean to you. The second somebody starts picking on you, he's throwing hands. He probably won't win but he's gonna try just for you.

Doesn't want to introduce you to his other friends. not because of how they are, but because he's worried you'll like them more and leave him for one of em'. Please reassure him you won't <//3

He absolutely softens up after a while. He can actually be a huge sweetheart. Never point out when he's being sweet to you though, cause he's just gonna switch up and act all mean because he's embarrassed.

As much as he loves you, you're never gonna be allowed to touch any of his stuff. Sorry. If you ask, he'll absolutely tell you about the stuff in his collection though. He's incredibly proud of it and loves when you let him talk about it.

Despite him not allowing you to touch anything in his collection, I can at least see him letting you wear his T-shirts. Even if he isn't that much bigger than you, he still thinks you're incredibly cute in them.

Brings you to Joe's Comic Shop just so he can flaunt you around and make the other guys jealous. 100% brags about you any chance he can.

Please let him be little spoon. He acts like he hates it but he actually LOVES being pampered.

His biggest love language would be gift giving. You'll talk about some rare and expensive item you've been wanting, and somehow he gets it for you a few weeks later. You're gonna have to pay him back in cuddles later for it, hehe.

(Epilogue Eltingville cont)

So the reader used to be apart of the club like everyone else before the whole “Bill burning down Joe’s shop” fiasco that made everyone go their separate ways. I was thinking the reader probably didn’t keep up with anyone from the club and left on some pretty bad terms. So when they meet back up with the boys, things are tense and awkward. Eventually they get to talking things out (similar to Jerry and Bill did in the epilogue). You can decide whether things conclude well or poorly (I personally enjoy a happy ending but knowing these boys and their pettiness a little angst wouldn’t be surprising).

Is that enough info or should I give some more? I’m just spitballing off the top of my head lol. You can make things platonic or romantic, but either way the reader obviously had a close relationship to the club before hand. Also have the boys written separately if that’s not too much. But I wouldn’t mind if they’re grouped together if that’s easier for you. It’s your writing at the end of the day so write it however you want and feel would work best.

ELTINGVILLE CLUB EPILOGUE W READER (draft)

BILL DICKEY

-Bill was surprised you even spoke to him, your voice was as caring as it was before. He thought you would hate him, after he bullied you so much, made fun of you and broke your stuff when you guys were little.

-Had a little talk with bill after Josh and Pete were talking about how they didn't want Bill there, you apologized to Bill for what they said, and you asked him how he was doing.

-He scoffed at almost anything you said, even if you weren't talking to him and made a smart remark, and all you did was.. nothing you just ignored it. He stopped eventually, realizing you weren't giving him a reaction.

-He got real mad you stood up for Mandi. He just couldn't believe you were siding with her instead of him, your childhood friend. But you were right and he knew that.

-He exposed some of your childhood secrets with the table, as a result of him being mad at you, and you were just silent, you glared at him from across the table, you got up, he flinched and you did nothing but walk past him and leave.

JOSH LEVY

-He was happy to see you, he hasn't seen you in years, you were the only one who didn't overly call him fat and stopped when he asked you too, you guys hung out without the group sometimes.

-You, Him and Pete were talking about the cool memories you guys had until Jerry came back with Bill and they started arguing with him.

-After it all got settled down you Pete and Josh were talking again, until everyone averted their eyes to Jerry's girlfriend, You were all surprised, she was really pretty tbh.

-Bill made some sexist comments and ruined the ENTIRE mood, Josh watched you stand up for her and Jerry, thought you looked pretty cool honestly.

-The table got real fucking quiet after Bill started spitting shit out of his ass about you, he wanted to say something but you just stormed off before anything. He watched Pete and Jerry give him shit about it when you were gone.

PETE

-When he first seen you, he started laughing, asking how you got here, Josh joined in and you guys were talking and Pete brings up how you stole 500 dollars from your parents and how they beat your ass in front of the entire town, you laughed it off but god was it embarrassing.

-After you all sit down, your sitting in the middle of Josh and Pete, He wouldn't leave you alone about the job he got at Sick Mofo. He talked to you about all the stuff he did in the job, It was kinda sick actually.

His @ greedo318 account got banned essentially in the first two weeks of him getting it on Messenger about a year back, as May and Pete helped Josh essentially spam report it when he started to harass Josh there too. Hence the new name that he actually uses.

Mrs. Dickey is still trying to force him to get a job, and while he has applied, he flops any and every interview he lands with his stupid need to be the loudest asshole in the room.

This man's ego is absolutely the size of the sun, it's almost immeasurable I assure you, HOWEVER--

He was actually one of the first in the group to get a car, but he never has money for gas so he like never drives it. It was a "gift from dad" according to his mom, but he doesn't believe her for a minute. (He's convinced she bought it for him to get him to move out.)

His mom watches Titanic every year on his birthday after 1997 and he HATES it to the point he has threatened to disconnect the breaker if she kept playing it at full volume.

He is still convinced that he has a shot with May (Despite her telling him repeatedly no) and is INSISTENT about it like a possessive little weirdo (news flash, he doesn't but he's delusional so it's fine)

The night of the Destruction of Joe's Fantasy World, Mr. Osewai had tried to stop in and pick something up for May when he walked in on.. well, Dickey on fire. His paternal instincts kicked in and managed to help the kids and smooth some things over with the families (and.. may or may not have threatened to rip out Joe's tongue but like it's fine).

Dickey has a strong sense of gratitude for the guy, even if he expresses it in the WEIRDEST ways, 'cause at the end of the day the guy kind of saved his only group of friends from his own bullshit.

When he does eventually land a job, it's essentially a generic gas station attendant, but they let him read his comics on the job when he has to work nights so that's a plus?

The Eltingville Club Headcanons

Pete Dinunzio

•Pete is the shortest of the club at 5’7, but the one who grounds everyone else with common sense, Although he is very impulsive himself.

•He was raised mainly by his father and had multiple siblings in his house. Though his father doesn’t support his horror movies or in his words “nerd shit.”

•mainly joined the club cause they are weirder than he is but supports his hobbies and interests so it give him some solace.

•Canonically into horror porn and cannibal flicks. I think he has paraphilia. He thinks cannibalism is very intimate, eating someone so they’re apart of you and all the time and dedication it takes to eat the entire body intrigues him.

•goes broke every Halloween cause he’s buying shit for either his collection or for his room. I like to think his birthday is in October.

•Has anger issues but not to the degree as bill or Josh do,and that comforts him in some way. Makes him feel better about himself. (He’d never tell them that.)

•wants to be covered in tattoos when he’s older, but in reality he’d probably just get five or six on his arms.

•tried to smoke cigarettes but his dad caught him and made him smoke the whole pack.

•his father and siblings harass him the way that some households do when one them picks up a neither hobby and bullies them cause it’s weird.

•very sweet if he likes you. Will show affection in his own way like asking you to watch horror flicks or info dumping about his favorite slashers or the new dvd set he bought.

Jerry Stokes

•Jerry is the voice of reason that no one listens to. He lives with his mother and father as an only child.

•I like to believe his parents are conservative or religious and don’t like when his fantasy interests because they think it’s immoral or something.

•(taking this headcanon from Tahawkydingo on ao3) his parents found his porn stash of fantasy cosplay pinups and they sent him to gay conversion camp.

•Is autistic but his parents deny that he is. vocally stims with his bidibidi bit and hyper fixates on fantasy. Wants to go to a renaissance fair so bad but no one wants to go with him.

• his parents treat him differently after his parents came to terms with him having autism and they unintentionally belittle him, he stays with the club because they don’t baby him like his parents do.

•has watched every fantasy movie from the eighties at least four times.

Bill Dicky

•snarky fuck. Will always try to get the last say in an argument and gets very butt hurt if he doesn’t.

• He lives with his mom and younger sister. His mom has full custody of him so he never sees his father.

•one thing I saw is that Bill is usually the one to throw the first punch besides Josh. I theorize that his dad used to get physical with him and it hasn’t really clicked with him that he was abused and think it’s normal.

•male manipulator by the book definition of antisocial personality disorder in the comics, average smiths listener in the pilot.

• tried to work at gamestop or Blockbuster but either got denied for having expired dvd returns or stole.

Josh levvy

•lives with his mother and father. I think of him as the youngest sibling if he ever had any brothers or sisters.

•His parents are Jewish and if he showered more he’d have natural curls. Without his glasses he can only see blobs of color, his vision is getting worse.

•it’s cannon that he only eats things that have collectibles in them and hates doing it. But I think he’s always been insecure of his body for a long time and is at the point where he doesn’t care what people see him like some tub of lard because his self esteem is low.

•secretly feels that he’d never measure up to the expectations his parents give him so he doubles down.

•His dad used to get physical with him as a kid as a punishment, like belting or smacking him up side the head if he says something wrong. So he got more aggressive when someone made him upside or says something he doesn’t like.

•collects not even for fun, just to have. Because it’s become such a big part of himself he doesn’t know what to do if he stops.

Eltingville headcanons bc the worms are eating my brains

Tw : Drug use

Bill : claims to have tried hardcore shit just to seem cool, the most intense trip he ever had was with half a bottle of cough medicine, maybe got addicted to pot for a while but i feel like he is more of a beer can guy

Josh : never cared for drugs, maybe got peer presured 1 or 2 times but never with something huge like heroine or some shit, it was just never at the top of his head

Pete : unlike bill he actually did try hardcore shit, i imagine due to his job he was able to find some contacts, some days he would wake up in a dark alley with only his boxers, 1 single stained sock, and a silly hat, after a while he got tired and left them aside, but from time to time he comes back for a little taste, never look at his teeth while you talk to him, they are fuckedy fuck fucked

Mushrooms and marihuana

Jerry : are we seeing his shaggy cut??? This man cultivates his own stash, he is a loving father to very numerous plants that he later on eats with some lazy vegan meal, i dont really see him drinking alcohol tho, maybe some wine here and there, DEFINITELY drinking herbal teas (coughcough kombucha), but i do see him saying "i only consume what mother nature gives me", either that or he believes a puff will kill him, pick your poison

Dad headcanons that make little to no sense.

Bill

Determined to be better than his father at raising his daughter. After growing up in an abusive home with an absent parent. He doesn’t want her to grow up into what he became.

Unpopular opinion — I believe he eventually realized when she was around a year old that he DID have to straighten up for her. That ment quitting the eBay gig.

Gets incredibly nervous when going to public places with her because he doesn’t want to be labeled a kidnapper.

He can get quite stingy with his collections. But as the years go by he’s only kept his favorites and let her have the rest which he regifted to her through Christmas’s, birthdays, or achievements she’s made.

Encourages her (to an almost extreme level) to try out for EVERYTHING in school so she doesn’t end up boxed in like he was.

If him and his daughter fight he remains aloof around her but in his room has a panic attack.

Hates her friends even if they’re good. Can be very cocky if they end up rotten.

I don’t see Bill ever dating again because of the fear of them abandoning another kid onto him.

Once went 2 weeks without eating so his daughter had enough formula to survive.

Loves her smart ass behavior, hates how she gets into trouble

This man would absolutely rip a school to shreds if they called him out of work because they did something stupid.

Keeps pictures of his daughter hung up around the house. But hates getting his own taken.

Loudest guy at any game or celebration because he’s so proud of her.

Pete

Roughhouses with his kids no matter the gender. It “toughens them up,” as he says.

Pretty sexist when it comes to his kids dating. If his son brings home a girlfriend he’s proud and makes a lot of innuendos. Meanwhile, if his daughter brings home a boyfriend, he’s blatantly planning on murdering him.

Once when his kids were infants they fell asleep on him and he didn’t move. Failing to show up to work cause he was just watching them.

This man has so many half-children. (Like 6. Two of which are twins and mostly boys)

Named them all after horror movie icons or actors/actresses.

Unpopular opinion — Doesn’t care what they watch when they hit 13. But actively shields them from watching rated-r stuff 12 and under.

Makes it a tradition to take their freshly 13 year old kid out to watch their first rated r movie. Even though he doesn’t seem to be too excited, he’s just happy to see their kid look so smug feeling better than the other kids.

Taught them how to fight, cook, and other things at a VERY young age. (Think 5-7) In case one day he didn’t come home.

None of his kids went the football route and he’s very grateful for it. Doesn’t want them to get injured for life.

Years after the Eltingville discourse (at the comic con) Bill reached out to Jerry to ask if he wanted to attend his daughter’s birthday party. Jerry happily accepted, even if his son was too old.

He once had a fight with his son that lead him into a panic attack where he screamed and called his son, “bill” by accident. Leading him to tell his son about what happened growing up. His son was much more empathetic after this incident.

Jerry cried when he found out his son wrote his 5th grade essay about him.

Tries to make each birthday of his sons better than the last.

Only time he’s ever gotten visibly angry. Was at a football game where his son was getting beat up by a player on the opposing team because of them losing. Jerry had to be held back and dragged off because of the fuss.

He was fine but it scared the hell out of everyone. For reference now everyone knows you don’t mess with his kid.

His son had the habit of gifting him random objects: rocks, gum, sticks. Jerry has them all stored up in the attic. Expect the live animals which he released when his son wasn’t looking.

Caught his son watching studio ghibli movies and felt so proud even though his son was embarrassed.

Josh

Thrilled to be a dad when he heard his wife got pregnant.

Let’s his daughter play with his hair. Didn’t want her messing with a greasy mop so he washes it. (Wanted to set a good example on hygiene as well)

Started to lose weight so he can get to see her grow up.

Very protective of his daughter and her interests.

Dressed up with her for Halloween to match costumes.

Hates Mac and cheese (after his incident in the comics) but his daughter loves it.

Struggles with insecurity but deals with it because of how confident his daughter is.

Woke up to her one day when she was just a year old. To her on his chest just staring in admiration. Cried in the shower that day and made it a daddy-daughter day out.

Embarrasses her in a teasing way.

Half of his collection is in a donation bin and the other half is in his daughter’s room.

Nervous but happy she took after his nerdy side.

He fixes her hair in the morning because he knows the pain of curly hair.

Had a panic attack when they were playing hide and seek and he couldn’t find her. She was under the sink the whole time giggling.

Very boo and sully coded relationship.

Wants to have more kids but isn’t financially stable enough.

Found out MONTHS later his daughter mimicked him a lot when she was a toddler. His walk, his speech, even the way they lay on the couch and watch movies.

His favorite home video is her playing house.

He’s a stern but lenient guy.

Against her dating, period. He knows how awful guys are and doesn’t want her around them.

Dreads the day she goes to high school.

Framed her first drawing of him, his wife and her together.

His daughter inherited his anxiety and eating disorder. He feels awful for it.

Spoils her rotten to an extent.

It’s time for head canons

Okay Aaron knows and hates bill, why?? Cuz he asked to join the eltingville club back in the beginning of freshman year of high school and bill said no. Why did bill say no?? Because he thought they look too much alike. Why do they look the same?? Most likely bill’s dad was cheating on his mom for some time and this was the possible result for their divorce. Yes what I’m saying is they could be haft siblings but don’t know it. Aaron’s dad (the dad that stepped up or doesn’t know) got him into comics. He got into comic book creation simply to see more stories that he wanted to see in comics that just didn’t exist yet. Like I said before he tried to join the eltingville club, got rejected and then went to the northwest comix collective. I see Aaron being like a popular Garth Ennis like figure in the epilogue. (Same thing for James)

Sleepy headcanons for the Eltingville boys!

note: I don't think there's much I can write about sleeping, so I just decided to keep these short and sweet! I was giggling a lot while making these, I hope you find them just as silly as I did lol.

Bill Dickey: Gets cranky before bed. Bill also drools while asleep. A LOT. occasional light snores come from him, but it's really not often; only when he's a bit congested usually. I think it would be pretty funny if he sleeps cuddling a teddy bear if he doesn't have anybody to cuddle with.

Pete DiNunzio: Usually just gets quiet when he's sleepy, nodding off a bit. He's actually somewhat peaceful.. until he actually falls asleep. He snores LOUD and kicks in his sleep. I can see him being a sleep talker too. The stuff he says is terrifying. I'm thinking about that one post while typing this. You know the one. The funniest part about it though is that he has literally no recollection of anything he did while asleep.

Josh Levy: Gets kinda huffy when he's tired. Once he's out though, he's OUT. His "sleep noises" range from heavy breathing, to snores that can shake the whole house. Josh mumbles a bit too, but not full on sleep talking like Pete. He has a pillow that he latches onto while sleeping. Without it, he would just grab onto whatever is closest to him and smother it the whole night (cough cough, YOU).

Jerry Stokes: Not much to say about this guy. He sleeps like a log. Maybe occasional sighs but he literally does not move or do anything at all in his sleep. Very heavy sleeper too. He has like 5 alarms every morning but none if them can successfully wake him up. Overall a very peaceful sleeper.

Also, they all sleep in their underwear, and maybe a T-shirt. Just had to get that out there LOL

-The next time you ask he just says "Okay." nothing else and he walks away, You're a little confused but he leaves you a note to come to his basement on a certain date, if you go he's probably gonna introduce you to his sister, mom, and the club, mostly Josh to get him jealous.

Jerry and Mandi don't end up together permanently-- but they do have their kids together. I genuinely imagine Jerry ends up like Scout TF2 style as a single dad to like 4 kids but he loves them all equally and gives them all the attention he can.

And when he can't handle them all, he'll just drag Bill over and make him deal with them.

Yes, in Helltingville the gang stick together.. kind of. Like old friends that happen to live nearby-- they meet up occasionally, they keep tabs on each other online, they might even have a christmas party together, but they definitely are not hanging out regularly like they did as kids.

Jerry and May's anxiety can't take it, Josh's heart can't take it, and Bill can't take the guilt of knowing that, so its sparingly, but they'll keep in touch.

During the heavy confrontation after Comicon and after, Bill kinda.. hit rock bottom? Like if he hit rock bottom as a teenager then he hit the bottom of satan's fucking boot. Getting reemed out by Matt, disgusting looks from everyone and even his sister, seeing everyone so happy without him--

he struggles with that, and he hates it. He gets so unbelievably angry with himself for being both equally stupid and selfish. He shouldn't be upset about this! They're just stupid fake fans that don't understand him, right? then why the hell is he three bottles in and he still feels like shit?

Jerry and May keep tabs on Bill the most, checking on him and forcing him into therapy. Jerry uses him as a free babysitter, May enjoys the company when she isn't on set with Pete, and Bill isn't passed out drunk in his mom's basement.

Jane and Amari were enemies in high school, they actually hated each others GUTS. Amari was captain of the cheerleading team and Jane had her punk girl gang. And yet, in college, they managed to get together and put aside their differences. (Plus, Amari has the same infatuation problem as Matt... and her type is scrawny women that could stab a bitch, apparently).

Matt does develop a bit.. of an alcohol issue. He's so stressed from work, worried about Josh and his health, BILL being ALIVE, Bill being NEAR HIM, Bill staring at his SISTER bro his liver is crying.

Josh.. kind of knows. He can tell that Matt drinks at dinner and maybe a sip or two before bed, but He doesn't want to step out of line and make Matt upset. The last thing he wants is to upset his fiance and get yelled at again for being useless. He doesn't need to go down memory lane.

Cherri develops a vocal stim similar to Jerry, and struggles to talk otherwise and is usually hiding behind him whenever they aren't in their room. Buck, on the other hand, will not stop asking questions or shut the fuck up. this kid has enough energy to power the sun and his brain never turns off. Sorry Bill, you're gonna have to explain the entire Star Trek lore because you mentioned Star Logs and did the Vulcan Salute and now he demands to know what that is.

May works with Pete on occasion, mostly on a commission basis from Butchie. She helps make props and walks new actresses through the ropes and makes sure they're safe on set. Pete is just happy his woman's with him and you BET he brags "guys look at my girlfriend god I love her--"

And yes, they're looking to name their kiddo Sidney, but it's still a toss up. Bill says the name sounds dumb but won't help May pick any new ones to add to the list, so his opinion can get stuck in a meatgrinder.

The characters in the Eltingville club like guys I've had shitty dates with, because I find it funny

Josh. We went to the cinema, during the movie he tried to lie on my shoulder (he was 185± centimeters, I was 160), after which we decided to eat pizza. I literally gave him money and told him he could take whatever he wanted. When we already received the order, he found out that the ham was included and picked it out for about fifteen minutes. (Yeah, he's Jewish and doesn't eat ham, but he forgot to ask what's in the pizza)

Pete. We talked with a guy from a dating site for a while and decided to go for a walk. He took me to a very crime-ridden area of our city, and we walked through some dark alleys without people or lights. He tried to tell me about how snuff videos made him feel alive and about how he SET FIRE TO CATS' TAILS (he seemed completely normal and even cute to me online). As a result, we met two of my friends, who took me away on the pretext that we needed to do a project for college.

Jerry. DATING SITE AGAIN. It's going to be a sad story because he was quite sweet. We walked for the first couple of minutes and I told him some typical mom joke about, AND HE SAID THAT HIS MOTHER HAD DIED OF CANCER. I felt ashamed. He spent three hours telling me about his favorite cartoons and board games. (We didn't work out because at the second meeting he tried very hard to get into my house and wrote that we were destined to be together)

Bill. I've been thinking about this for a long time. Technically, we didn't have a date because I didn't show up. We talked online for a while, it seemed to me that he was a complete jerk and hated me (he had a Joker on his pfp and he called all women whores). We agreed to meet and go for a walk at the mall. He wrote where I was and I wrote that I would not come and would stay at home. He wrote that he wasn't coming either because I was a dumb cunt and not worthy of his attention. And he WAS OFFENDED THAT I DIDN'T COME, because he thought he was laughing at the fact that I seriously thought we were going to have a date. He blocked me.

•while talking he’d graze your hand not realizing it’s there until you grab it in return. He would stop talking and get awkwardly quiet, not knowing what to do next. He’d like the contact but would never admit to it.

•so he freezes and hopes you decide for him.

•If you two are lying down or spending the night you are the big spoon or the one to initiate at first. Sometimes if you catch him in a mellowed mood he will turn to face you as you spoon him, and bury his face into your neck and fall asleep there.

•if you want comfort you’ll have to tell him or copy his method.

•he will hold your hand or wrap his arm around your waist In public, but it comes off more superficial and showing status of him having a partner.

•in private you would sit on the couch next to him and silently snuggle up next to him and he would let you get close.

•Bill doesn’t act this way to you out of malice, more of the unfamiliarity of the situation. He’s never had to confide in someone or have anyone this close before.
