I haven't finished re-writing profiles for everyone in the Pizza My Heart AU, but that hasn't stopped me from attempting to make a Sugary Spire counterpart to the AU. Like I said before, I was trying to figure out what Melissa Monotoli is like in that universe...

Originally, I thought maybe Melissa only exists in Pizza My Heart and other AUs were foreign to her... and maybe that is still true. However, I also like to think that once Melissa has visited an AU, a new version of it pops up where she exists, as a part of an ever-growing multiverse. So, this Sugary Spire AU exists only after Melissa visits the "canon" Sugary Spire universe long enough to make an impact on its existence.

So basically, in this alternate Sugary Spire universe - I call it the Sugary Sweethearts AU - Melissa's counterpart, Liz Monotoli, has been a fan of The Pizzano ever since she was nine years old. In this universe, Pizzano was a popular wrestler during the 90's, enough to get his own controversial talk show. Liz was way too young to be watching the sort of content Pizzano produced, but that didn't stop her from tuning in and laughing her butt off to his wild, vulgar, and violent antics. She even developed a love of pizza through him. Many years later, Liz develops a love of catsuits and mad science. Calling herself The "Magnificent" Pizzette, she becomes a sort of supervillainess/antihero to The Pizzano's dimwitted superhero persona. Instead of trying to actively destroy Pizzano, however, she wants to seduce him and marry him.

Pizzano, on his part, thinks Pizzette is really hot but kind of nuts. She even went so far as to mutate a slice of pizza into a monster to do her bidding... what good is pizza if you can't eat it!? He's tried, she won't let him! Anyway, he's more interested in Pizzelle. He doesn't care that Pizzelle is already married to Rosette. It doesn't help that Pizzelle is starting to catch feelings for Pizzano in return...

In case you're wondering, Pizzette's pizza monster is Pizzahead in this universe. He basically looks like a ganglier, gooier version of the Pizzahead we know and love, and is insanely loyal and affectionate towards his creator. He also speaks by mimicking human voices, not unlike some sort of demented, cheesy parrot with a sadistic sense of humor. "Pizzamonster" is understandably afraid of The Pizzano, as the big guy has tried to eat him alive on more than one occasion. Pizzamonster eventually gets the nickname "Totino", though I'm not sure who ends up naming him. Was it Pizzette? Was it Pizzano? Was it someone else entirely? I have no idea.

I am also firmly in the camp that Bruno/Fake Peppino is candymaker Dilk Wilkam, so he's in this AU too. Dilk has a beautiful daughter (who isn't named yet) and a weird obsession with frogs and "frog milk", the latter of which he uses in his chocolate. He dabbled in dark magic after faking his death, accidentally creating the entity known as Coneball. Coneball was not good or evil, but a source of pure chaos and destruction. Dilk was able to subdue him by transforming him into Coneboy, a far more harmless form with a much sweeter personality than Coneball. However, under the right/wrong conditions, Coneboy can transform back into Coneball and wreak havoc on anyone unfortunate enough to cross their path.

Dilk Wilkam built the Sugary Spire to (A) contain Coneball and (B) test the might of anyone who dared to traverse the spire, in the hopes that person might be the one to destroy Coneball once and for all, fixing his mistake.

Oh, one other detail I wanna mention. Liz's parents are also different in this AU. Gilda's counterpart is named Gelda Monotoli, the richest woman in town and also the mayor! She and her ex, Joey Matzahfeld, have been divorced since their daughter was four years old. Joey has not seen his ex-wife or their daughter in a long time, having remarried and started a new family in New York City.

As mayor, Gelda Monotoli is a good leader, but extremely corrupt in that she will resort to murder to get her way if need be. She has total control over the police, too. She loves her daughter, and even funds her supervillain hobby, but neglects her a lot, being more interested in money and men. And just to remind you that this is also an EarthBound AU, she has a Mani Mani statue in her possession. It is a replica of one that had been used by a universal cosmic destroyer that once plagued the Sugary Spire universe. Gelda uses her Mani Mani statue to brainwash people and manipulate them into doing her bidding.

Usually I debut designs at shows, but since they’ve been all but cancelled for the next 2 months I’m going to try something different and show a design off online for the first time! We had 'Papa John's' pizza for dinner. Tilly loves pizza. She loves cheese and tomatoes. She L❤VES ALL FOOD! ❤❤❤🍅🍕🧀🍅❤❤❤ She still really is a kitten / kitty so she is still learning to control herself around food. Moments after the pizza arrived Tilly proved that she is an incredibly "Clever Girl". Basically Tilly almost managed to break the seal on the pizza and 'Live It Up Large' while dinning on our dinner all by herself. ......or so she though..... It's a good thing that I caught her 'In The Act' before things got 'Too Crazy'. ❤❤❤🍕❤❤❤ After some conversation and discussion we decided that Tilly could sit next to the pizza if she was 'Well Behaved' and 'Well Mannered'.
