[Kai the Merman’s Redesign]

I redesigned my character Kai a while ago but never got around to drawing his full design. I’m still playing around with it because I like having that flexibility hehe (also he does have a tattoo on his right arm but I didn’t want to deal with it for this drawing.. but there is one for sure 😅)

It definitely helped redesigning him, I love drawing him so much, it’s so fun now! (Second photo is without overlays on top) Hope you like his new design! 🧜🏼‍♂️🦈

prison girls: metaserie (jun.2023)

PRISON GIRLS también tiene una metaserie!! todavía no le puse nombre lol. es como un show de temática infantil, aunque aborda temas adultos. maitena es la conductora del programa y la narradora de los mini episodios.

los personajes son blandford, doria, charming chaka, piru, fausto, usir, mina y cromo.

blandford es un zorro gris antropomórfico. es serio, considerado y pensativo, aunque sufre de estrés y ansiedad. trabaja en una cooperativa gráfica como liquidador de sueldos y jornales. es la típica "figura paterna" para los demás.

doria es una mujer calamar muy coqueta, lujuriosa, arrogante y desvergonzada. está casada con charming chaka, y es su ayudante como joyera.

charming chaka es un camaleón velado que trabaja de diseñador y estilista. es el esposo de doria, pero llega a ser romántico y seductor con otras mujeres (mujeriego de mielda). es afeminado, egocéntrico y tacaño.

piru es un humanoide pequeño con cabeza de píldora. es tranquilo y pacífico, aunque puede ser muy agresivo si se lo molesta mucho. trabaja como médico profesional.

fausto es un patito amistoso, despreocupado y travieso al que le encanta la comida. puede llegar a ser muy vago y perezoso a veces.

mina es una paralarva con una actitud aniñada y personalidad chispeante. es subestimada por ser así, pero en realidad es muy inteligente y madura.

cromo es una criatura con forma de cromosoma. lo envuelve siempre un aura de misterio y rareza, debido a que es muy silencioso. solamente se comunica con sus manos.

An Introduction to one of my OCs: Ninma

 I haven’t posted anything in quite some time, health and life have gotten in the way, unfortunately. However today I noticed that my account got attention that wasn’t from cornbots, thus I feel like I should something. A long time ago I introduced one of my MC’s, the slave Narul(You can click here to see that), however I have yet to introduce my other MC, Ninma. 

Ninma is the youngest daughter of Hutbari, King of the City State of Labisaj in the lands of Kishetal. At the beginning of the Green Sea Testaments she is five years old. 

Some facts about Ninma:

Her full name and title is:  Ba Ninma Asherdul Ninjali or put into simple terms, Ninma the 3rd, of the line of Asher, Princess.

A quick note on noble Kishic names and titles: The names of royalty and nobility in Kishic courts follows a strict system, namely: Number (As in how many people sharing that name have been born into that line or clan), Name (this is the given or forename of the individual, there is a specific collection of names which only nobility are able to carry), Line (This being typically named for the founder of the line, a new line may form because of feuds, migration, or as a marker of achievement, often famous heroes or kings are become the start of a new line. Some commoners may have a line name, but this is quite rare), Clan (These are branches which are removed from the main family line, most often the eldest child will carry the elder line while younger children will form clans. A clan may also be used to differentiate between branches of a family in different regions or adopted family members.), and Title (This being a noble’s rank Jal=King, Ninjali= Princess, Jali=Queen, Hiru=Lord, Ekiun= Horse Master, Etc.)

Ba( Number: 3rd) Ninma (Name) Asherdul (of the line of Asher) Ninjali (Princess) (Ninma as a child and being the child of Hutbari does not have a clan)

Ninma is a human, she is five years old though she is unusually small for her age. Her father is King Hutbari, her mother is the noblewoman Zibatha (Hutbari’s 6th and youngest wife) from the Tesaul tribe of Jezaan. Zibatha herself was the child of a Jezaai mother and a Namutian father. This makes Ninma ethnically, 50% Kishic, 25% Jezaai, and 25% Namutian.

Ninma has 27 siblings, of which she is the youngest

Despite her young age, at the insistence of her father, Ninma has been tutored on how to read and write and is quite adept at it, when she wants to pay attention at least.

Ninma’s literacy puts her in the only 6% of Kishic people who are literate

Her favorite story or piece of literature is The Naked Lord and the Crashing Waterfall by the poet Ramu, a less than age-appropriate comedy which follows the Kishic lord, Nassib, as he attempts, on a dare by farmer, to climb a waterfall, gradually shedding his clothes all the while. Much to Ninma’s displeasure, the tutor who allowed her to hear this tale was promptly banished from the palace grounds and replaced.

Ninma loves to climb and has already broken 3 fingers from various falls at the age of five.

The furthest Ninma has gone from her home in Labisaj was on a ship along with her many siblings and father.

Ninma is far closer to her father than her mother. This is primarily the result of her upbringing, Hutbari for one reason or another, limits how often his children are in contact with their mothers. It may be a way to ensure that his children associate more with their Kishic roots than their foreign mothers.

Despite her daredevil attitude, Ninma has a slight fear of deep water. Additionally, for reasons unknown, she has an intense fear or distrust of haircuts. Oddly enough she does appreciate having her hair cleaned and tended to, just not cut.

Her favorite foods are peaches (a very rare and expensive treat), fried trout, laka( a large flat bread typically flavored with various fruits or nuts), and piru ( a drink made from wine vinegar, water, honey, and various herbs)

Her favorite colors are yellow followed by red.

Her prized possession is the golden circlet which she wears on her head, given to her by Hutbari as a fourth birthday present and regularly resized.

Ninma is not a sage and is thus incapable of using magic

An Excerpt from Chapter 1 of The Testaments of the Green Sea

A pair of slaves wafted the king and his guests with fans of wood and parchment to cool the nobility and to shoo away the fat black flies that had a penchant for taking afternoon swims in the wine and the beer. A handful of the king’s children took seats around the pit. The king's once prolific proclivity for producing children had slowed considerably in recent years. A rumor drifted around the palace that Hutbari had become particularly close with one of his young advisors favoring the young man's company over that of his wives, often disappearing into locked chambers to discuss policy and foreign relations. These discussions must have been quite heated if the sounds the servants heard emanating from closed doors indicated anything.

The king’s youngest daughter, Ninma, happily dipped her bread in the wine, dyeing it crimson. She was by far his youngest daughter at five years, the youngest of twenty-seven children, the eldest now nearly thirty-two, and as with all of her siblings, she was not particularly close with her mother. Hutbari had made sure that, he would not have his foreign-born wives influencing his children.

No doubt the little princess was meant to be practicing her letters under the eye of a palace scholar but Hutbari was far too engrossed by the fresh bowl of wine in his hand and the scene before him to notice her.

Naming your Naboo handmaidens / star wars OC: a concept

So. me, @waterrose3, @obi-mom-kenobi, @steampunkunicorn01, and @siarrawrites somehow ended up having a discussion where...

you can literally make a star wars sounding name by just taking a ballet move, maybe adding an apostrophe, and/or changing the spelling, and then BOOM! star wars OC.
