The first few songs is everyone getting their anger out on each other or close to that. At least that is what it seems like it is heading. Correct me if I am wrong.
So if I remember correctly, all the songs in the Musical are taken straight from real life musicals.
The first one is when Renegades are given a quick job to get the singing drunk off the roof of the bar. The team walks out to see much to their confusion a sight of Piper Hamilton singing a whole soliloquy with full backing sound track emanating from seemingly nowhere.
The song for this is the main singing part of Invisible/On the Roof from Beetlejuice the Musical:
The second song is when Jaune pretty much coaxes the drunk off the roof. Piper explains that he was a big deal once, had great big dreams that are now shattered thanks to his former partner. Jaune tries to empathize with him and let him know that everyone has dreams and that he should keep going for it! Piper sarcastically asks what Jaune's big dreams were, flicks him in the forehead, activating his Semblance and sending Jaune into singing Go the Distance from Hercules:
After that sight, the Renegades sit down and talk with Piper about what his deal is, revealing that Piper wants to get back into show business, but needs to show that his Semblance can bring out the real passion in people and not to be afraid of the TRUTH! Jaune of course being the bleeding heart he is volunteers Renegade's help and gets him back to his town. Once there, Piper says he needs someone willing to reveal their raw emotions, the things that make them just want to yell at the world. Cinder and Adam are of course already hating this whole musical bullshit and refuse, while Jaune who originally wanted to help is now having second thoughts about singing his "raw emotions" especially with Cinder in the same room. Neo pretty much shrugs and volunteers, prompting Jaune to try and interject, knowing the kind of loose cannon she can be and pointing out she's mute any ways. This of course pisses off Neo and she make Piper use his Semblance, prompting her to audibly sing Dead Mom from the Beetle Juice Musical or in Renegade's Version: Dead Boss. I'll post the edited lyrics below so you can read along as you listen to the music.
Dead Boss
Hey boss, dead boss
I need a little help here
I'm prob'ly talking to myself here
But dead boss, I gotta ask
Are you really in the ground?
'Cause I feel you all around me
Are you here, dead boss?
Dead boss
Dead boss
I'm tired of trying to iron out my creases
I'm a bunch of broken pieces
It was you who made me whole
Every day Jaune's staring at me
Like all, "Hurry up, get happy
Move along
Forget about your boss"
'Cause Blondie's in denial
Blondie doesn't wanna feel
He wants me to smile
And clap like a performing seal
Ignored it for a while
But Blondie's lost his mind for real
You won't believe the mess that we've become
You're my home
My destination
And I'm your clone
Your strange creation
You held my hand
And life came easy
Now jokes don't land
And no one sees me
Nothing seems to fit
Roman is this it?
Are you receiving?
I want something to believe in or I'm done
Take me where my soul can run or I'll lay down defeated
Wake me when I'm dead and gone
Blondie's moving forward
Blondie didn't lose a boss
Roman won't you send a sign?
I'm running out of hope and time
A plague of mice, a lightning strike
Or drop a gigantic bomb
No more playing Blondie's game
I'll go insane if things don't change
Whatever it takes to make him say your name
Dead boss

Percy Jackson Characters as Theater Songs: Part 2
If you haven’t seen part one yet here you go
Now: Heroes of Olympus (and Apollo)
Jason: History Has Its Eyes on You from Hamilton. This song is SO JASON-Y I can’t put it into words. And it could be him talking to someone else or someone talking to him. You pick
Leo: One of These Days from The Jonathan Larson Project. While this isn’t a musical song per se, it’s from Jonathan Larson’s collection of songs meant for musicals he couldn’t write (since he died). Anyway this fits Leo because it has all of the Inventor’s Fury and thoughts of inadequacy he could think of.
Piper: I’d Rather Be Me from Mean Girls. It’s her “revolt against the system” mindset (thats my only defense for this one)
Drew: What The World Needs from Ride the Cyclone. Her TLH “pick me energy” is STRONG with this one. I love Drew but you can’t deny how terrible she was in that book.
Coach Hedge: God I Hate Shakespeare from Something Rotten. I don’t need to defend myself.
Hazel: Winter Blooms from Alice By Heart. This is all completely hypothetical and that is because I know within my HEART and SOUL that Hazel was an Alice’s Adventures girlie. So that means she gets a song from a musical about a girl that uses Alice as an escape (it’s really good look it up). And also the lyrics just seem like something she would say idk
Frank: Stronger from Finding Neverland. It’s his girlboss-glowup era after those Cows
Reyna: Dangerous to Dream from Frozen. Picture this song over her traumatic backstory. Thank me later
Octavian: My Friends from Sweeney Todd. It’s his shabby tendencies (rip Panda pillow pet you were a real one)
Apollo: Chorn from Firebringer. Enough said.
And thats all I currently have! What other Riordanverse characters do y’all want to see?

Okay, so my brain is beginning to explode with Lars Pinfield headcanons (as I'm pairing him with my OC, Natalie, in the Cathleen Lives AU), so I'm just laying them all out here.
I just hope that none of them get disproven if he's in the next movie (Gil Kenan said that he and Jason Reitman are playing for two more movies after Frozen Empire.)
Regardless, feel free to use these headcanons.
Lars was actually born in Swindon, but when he was two years old, his family moved to Kettering.
He has an older sister (by eight years) named Abigail (goes by Abby). I imagine her to be played by Billie Piper.
More under the cut:
Abby works as a teacher for deaf students, mainly from grades kindergarten to second grade. She is fluent in both American and British Sign Language.
Abby also has two daughters, seven-year-old Alexa and three-year-old Luna, with her ex-boyfriend, who is NOT in the girls' lives.
After Abby's boyfriend ditched them, Lars stepped up to help his sister and nieces, and moved in. When he was recruited by Winston,
Lars and Abby's mother, Maggie Pinfield (nee Brennan) [her name comes from @pinfield's headcanon], is American, hailing from New York City.
Maggie's faceclaim is Linda Hamilton.
She's a badass who will require a post of her own.
Lars and Abby's father, William Pinfield, is also a scientist; but like Egon's Uncle Cyrus, laments his son's career in a "fringe" field.
Lars is the best uncle. Like, he barely could hold a baby when Alexa was born, and now these two girls are his entire world.
Since Maggie is an engineering genius, she was able to figure out how to pirate American television after moving to the U.K., so they got a lot of access to American soap operas.
His first crush was Genie Francis, aka Laura Spencer from General Hospital.
Lars and Callie develop a brother-sister bond; he and Phoebe also bond, and he teaches her a few of his coping techniques for when she's having a sensitive day.

Team Renegade gas to sing.
... I am very curious how that will work for Neo. Does she conjure words and it sings for her?
That's the thing about Piper Hamilton's Semblance!! It allows even crippled people to dance, deaf people to hear music, and mute people to audibly SING for the duration of the musical number, so when Neo is affected the Renegades get to hear her voice for the very first time!

Phillipa Anne Soo was sitting at the table for the promotional signing of her new book Piper Chen Sings, she was proud since it told a story about a young girl uncovering her passion for singing in spite of stage fright, just as she had and just as she knew would inspire many others, particularly in the Asian American community. Phillipa Anne Soo was smiling as she met her fans, she signed their copies of her book and talked with them for a short time, thanking them for their support. She knew her actions were a positive for society, for young girls who looked like her and others, and she loved using her platform for positive things.
A younger male fan stepped up next, and Phillipa Anne Soo smiled just as she always would, her public facing persona upholding her image, always positive and friendly and uplifting.
“Hello, you must be here to get yours signed? Thank you so much for the support. Phillipa Anne Soo said, as he handed over his copy of Piper Chen Sings, she quickly opened the front cover and wrote her signature, these had almost become automatic to her with how many signatures she gave out today.
“Of course, Phillipa Anne Soo, I love the things you stand for and wanted to support your project.” The younger male fan said, giving her a smile back, though she noticed he was a bit nervous to make eye contact when she looked back up.
“That’s sweet of you to say, you know, it’s uncommon that I get a lot of male fans that understand the importance of something like this.” Phillipa Anne Soo says, wanting to be personable, sensing this was a perfect opportunity to personally resonate with this fan, which was her favorite part of her work.
“I’m also from Illinois, so it’s especially nice seeing someone from our state succeeding.” The younger male fan said, slightly brushing over her previous point, which she immediately overlooked.
“Oh really, where from?” Phillipa Anne Soo said, pleasantly surprised, suddenly she was wide-eyed in intrigue, wanting to know if she had heard of the place before.
“I’m from south of the city, not like the south side, more rural, unfortunately not Libertyville. I’ve never been actually.” The younger male fan said, he looked off to the side a bit, somewhat unsure of himself, though realized this was his one chance for a social interaction with Phillipa Anne Soo and quickly looked back.
“That’s so cool. Thank you for coming all the way here to meet me like this.” Phillipa Anne Soo said, she had a pleasant opinion of this fan so far, given the rapport they were building.
“Of course. Actually, there was something I wanted to show you if you wouldn’t mind.” The younger male fan said, reaching into his pocket.
“Of course, I’d be more than happy to see. What is it?” Phillipa Anne Soo said, the younger male seemed polite and also passionate about a lot of the same issues, given what he said about his passion for her project and for Piper Chen Sings, not to mention flattering, so she had to admit she let her guard down a little bit.
She was expecting maybe it would be some picture she had forgotten having taken when she was doing rounds for the Hamilton stage shows, or perhaps he was pulling out his phone to show a video of a younger sister nailing her Eliza impression. She was so used to seeing those types of things and they always made her heart feel warm. What the younger male fan actually pulled out surprised and initially perplexed her.
It was a pretty golden pocket watch, shining and shimmering in the light, swaying from side to side gently of its own accord.
“It’s… very pretty… so pretty…” Phillipa Anne Soo said, her voice somewhat lower now, it just felt so soothing as it swung back and forth and she slowly followed with her eyes, it just felt so natural. She couldn’t help but study the patterns over the case, they were so ornate. But they kept moving so she had to follow them.
“Yes, it’s quite pretty.” The younger male fan said, studying her reactions, agreeing with her like this would likely help enhance the rapport.
“I’m… not sure if this is the appropriate time…” Phillipa Anne Soo said, suddenly realizing how she was being swept away into some kind of state of highly focused attention, reduced peripheral awareness, and heightened suggestibility. She put her hand up to her neck, clearing her throat elegantly, but she was still pretty enraptured.
The security guards started moving him on, he had overstayed his turn and it was obvious tell that Phillipa Anne Soo was uneasy. They were perceptive that her gesture was likely code for them to get involved.
The next fan, a young girl who looked like she was still probably in elementary school, her parents following closely behind, was up next. Phillipa Anne Soo shook her head, snapping out of the momentary trance, before smiling again.
