This program was World Class. And even still, Piper and Paul even have more nitpicky cleaning and a good handful of levels left to check off before they have even maxed out on their potential score — and THIS score is going to be massive.

Truly, I cannot wait to see how this program scores against the other top Ice Dance teams, because I honestly think if everything is judged correctly… that Piper and Paul could honestly pull out in front by 1-3 points ahead of the pack if clean and scored accurately… this program is very special and highlights so much of their nuance and skill.

Also, can we please get more Piper in this gorgeous red instead of weird yellows, greens and oranges….?

i feel like percy is the person that people bring with them when they need to go somewhere or do something potentially dangerous. or more realistically, he’s the one who people’s loved ones tell them to take with. it just makes people feel better knowing percy is there. you know what i mean?

sally has a meeting with someone who sounds a bit weird (and paul can’t go)? paul tells her to bring percy.

paul needs to go to a really sketchy part of town? sally asks him to bring percy

piper got a weird anonymous note and needs to go meet them at a location? annabeth tells her to bring percy

leo has to go get some magic machine part from a really shady dealer? piper tells him to bring percy

frank has to go on an unofficial quest to investigate some shady legion history, and hazel has to stay with camp? hazel tells him to bring percy

and it’s NOT because any of these people can’t take care of themselves. they are all strong and brave and badass, and can handle anything. but for one, percy is intimidating as hell. his “wolf stare” sends literal gangs running the other way. you can avoid conflict before it even happens, because no one is messing with percy. and second, percy just makes you feel safe. his presence is comforting. not only has he been through all the demigod-hero-world-saving shit, and is powerful as hell, but he also grew up in new york city. he can handle pretty much any situation. plus he’s super sweet and funny, and you can always count on him to make you laugh and decrease your anxiety. and he’s always got your back. he takes care of the people he loves.

he’s just the best company. for so many reasons.

PJO/HOO Characters meeting Sally and Paul who already haven't

Piper - "You guys are hot." So blatanly they both start laughing. Percy is so red in the face as Piper apologizes so many times cause it actually just came out, she did not mean to say it out loud, oh my Gods just kill me now! (Leo's laughing at her so fucking hard he needs to take a walk outside.)

Hazel - She's just normal. Adores them for taking such good care of one of her best friends.

Frank - He's a little jealous but basically the same as Hazel.

Jason - Poor guy is so scared. The only parental figures he's ever had were abusive and he's heard so many good things about them and doesn't wanna mess this up. But he relaxes after a while realizing they're super chill.

Leo - Same as Jason but instead of being a people pleaser about it, he had more energy due to his anxiety. Don't mess up. They'll hate you if you mess up. Mess up what??? It's just dinner!!!

Reyna - They made her smile!! Everyone congradulated her.

hc that the moment jason got his Ambrosia taste back was after he went to visit Sally and tried her blue cookies, and for the first time ever, Jason's Ambrosia started having actual taste, and it tastes like Sally's blue cookies, it tastes like home.

kind of a follow up to my own post but i had a flashback to my sister trying to convince my mom to let her get a tattoo at 16 because i had a few and i just thought about estelle who thinks percy is so cool, trying to convince sally and paul to let her get a tattoo at 16/17 because percy had his SPQR tattoo when he was that age and them having to try and figure out how to explain why she can’t
