i've been getting a lot of fomo of seeing all my friends and mutuals playing baldurs gate 3 and was tempted to buy it. then seeing you drawing fanart and seeing it on my dash made me look inside myself and acknowledge my true self and desires... so i bought pioneers of olive town. its in the mail, but im excited for it to arrive. :)

YEAH ITS SUPER CUTE IMO !!! I don't even have a console/PC capable of BG3 so I totally get the thought of 'oh im missing out' but I really enjoy the relaxing farming games... Does anyone else think arknights' module for flagbearers is just. Kinda bad?

It is clearly trying to address the flagbearers defining weakness - while their skull is active, your block is zero* - what this means is sometimes you want to activate the skill, but have to wait because they're blocking an enemy which would slip past your defenses. Typically how I handle this is to plan my defenses as if the flagbearer always had 0 block, which usually involves placing them in front of the defenses, or out of the way where enemies don't reach them

The module, however, makes it so when their skill is active, the operator in front of them gets +1 block**. Which either means the flagbearer is behind another operator (in which case, dropping a block could still lead to a leak), or is in front of another operator but facing backwards and then when the skill deactivates, if the enemies haven't been cleared off, you could still get a leak even though the total amount of enemies you're blocking hasn't changed

I get wanting to make modules that improve a class's pre-existing traits, but there are plenty of modules that don't do that so why not add one more

*based on wording, I assume in circumstances where the flag bearer has more than 1 block, it still goes to 0 rather than subtracting 1

**combined with the previous note, I think the wording of the module implies that even in circumstances where a flagbearer has more than 1 block, the operator in front of the flagbearer only gets a bonus of 1. As opposed to matching the difference
