in concept I like Musa’s transformation fine, but the execution is. extremely sloppy imo. her dancing looks absolutely terrible, like they didn’t even animate her moonwalking correctly? playing the video at 75% speed improves it SO much too, it’s insanely rushed. personality-wise it’s more or less indistinguishable from Flora’s sequence which is also disappointing

At first I wasn't fond of her, she was my least favourite of the SS4 dolls. But it turned out to be her hair bc once I restyled it, I fell in love with her.

The front bangs gave me Flora from Winx vibes so I took inspiration for the hairstyle from her hair in her Enchantix form. Here's how it looks from the back:

I did have to tie the hair down in the back for Drac to make it look flat (bc multiple boil washes on barely reduced the dent in the hair from the pigtails), but I tried to make it look neat

Look, I'm sorry if I'm not on the same hate train as other Winx Club fans, but the new transformations are growing on me. Though, I'm not blind! I'm not the biggest fan of their first fairy forms being so detailed because in the original they managed to stay simple because it allowed Enchantix to feel like a true evolution for the girls to grow into full-fledged fairies making it so different compared to their first forms. How are they supposed to design Enchantix now? Will there be an Enchantix form again? On a lighter note, I don't hate these new forms. They're actually pretty nice! (Except Musa's weird braided pigtails. I'm sorry, Musa!) I think my favorite transformations nail down to Bloom, Aisha, Techna, & Musa. Sorry, Stella! Sorry, Flora! I will admit that Flora blooming out of the flower felt like a callback to her Enchantix & I love how we got to see the moon incorporated into Stella's transformation because she has lunar magic within her family! I also loved the heart motif in Bloom's transformation as a callback to the little heart she made in her original transformation/s! Though, I'm sad she doesn't have a little tiara anymore!

The way I’m perfectly split down the middle of this image on how I feel about the cancelled civilian season 9 designs.

Aisha, Stella and bloom? Amazing. Fantastic. Honestly prefer them to their reboot civilian looks.

It seems like they were going to genuinely ditch the whole pink on bloom and i grieve them going back on that decision. She looks better with just blue and yellow.

Stellas outfit is cute without being tacky like her first reboot outfit nor derivative of the original like her current one.

Aisha’s is just really pretty. Love the hairclips.

But flora, musa and tecna? I don’t like nearly as much.

Floras mostly ok I just don’t like how thin the braids are. They’re a bit spindly. They need to be thicker.

Musa’s amazing from the neck down but her pigtails are just so ridiculously long. It doesn’t go with the more realistic style. Nor is it the hair length id expect from a civilian outfit. I already dislike long hair on Musa but I especially despise it being this dramatically long compared to the others.

Tecnas hairstyle is ridiculous. You can’t really see it on this artwork but she has four teensy tiny braids at the back of her hair. It’s giving “won’t commit to actually giving her properly short hair again so trying to visually fake it.”

I just know when this tecna transformed those braids would fall undone and shed have the exact same Bob she’s had for every. Single. Transformation.

Except once again slightly longer. As they were slowly squeaking her hair longer with every transformation. Which I hate. Obviously.

Pre Wild's hair getting stupidly long (like back when it was the length it is in BoTW/ToTk) Flora would try out different braid styles on him cause her hair wasn't long enough to do many styles on anymore (she really liked doing some sort of braided pigtails, Wild was just happy shes happy)

Now she does more intricate hairstyles cause she has even more hair to work with.

did miss raven also join harveston? i think the traditional harevston outfit would have fit her like a glove! (i'm not 100% sure how a raven-turned-human would fare in the cold though)

For each event, I like to think of an AU scenario where Miss Raven tags along for some silly reason to join in on the fun. I think she would really enjoy the hometown events specifically, as they give her a chance to explore and to experience new cultures and areas. She can sample Harveston’s specialties, learn about the agricultural community there, and help support and cheer on the NRC sledding team!

Epel’s proud of his hometown and more than eager to share it. Raven loves his enthusiasm and happily eats it up. She’s the one in the tour group that’s constantly raising her hand and posing questions to the guide. Epel doesn’t mind though—that just means she’s curious and knows how to appreciate Harveston!!

Miss Raven can go “big sis” mode when she’s dealing with Sebek. They usually don’t get along, but since the big guy’s susceptible to the cold she can hover nearby and make sure he’s sufficiently warm. “Blanket? Warm drink? Make sure you’re taking care of yourself, Sebek-kun!” (He shoos her off and shouts about how he’s a strong independent man that doesn’t need to be fretted over then he sneezes before he can finish his protest www)

Idia isn’t someone Miss Raven talks with a lot, but he’d probably be excited that she resembles one of the characters from Sled Over Heels in her Harveston fit. Maybe he asks her about cosplay in an attempt to make conversation and she just goes “???? What is that…” Idia gives up on attempting to socialize and crawls back into his quiet corner to be gloomy.

Jade… well, he’s Jade 💀 You can bet he’ll be bickering with her the entire trip as they take in the local flora and fauna. Miss Raven will want to try a little of every food and drink offered to her, but because of her small stomach she can’t possibly eat full servings. Jade can be her convenient human-sized food disposal bin more free food for him.

Ravens are actually quite hardy; they can survive in northern winters just fine (since they’re ready and willing to eat most anything they come across)! The birds that migrate do so for food and egg laying purposes; their warm-bloodedness and plumage often provide adequate insulation.

… Now that I think about it, Miss Raven doesn’t actually have all her feathers in her current form 😅 so she’s more susceptible to the cold at the moment; that’s nothing an Applepom/Snow Boa outfit can’t fix though! (Her thanks goes out to Marja and the kind people of Harveston~)

Here’s a quick sketch:

It’s very similar to the outfits that Idia, Sebek, and Jade wear! Miss Raven’s variant has a poofy skirt and slightly different boots. You can’t tell from the sketch (because I totally glossed over the intricate patterns in it), but there are supposed to be scattered feathers and little sparkles included with the apple cross sections in the design. I imagine the overall fabric of the look to be dark blueish.

Her hat is most similar to Idia’s, with strings that resemble her braided pigtails. Somehow they magically manage to contain all of her hair… The new hairstyle is meant to resemble Princess Anna’s! There’s also a removable cloak which is meant to be a reference to Anna’s own magenta cloak. Miss Raven is suited for adventure; as you can probably tell from the sketch, she has a number of useful items in the pouch slung at her waist.

detective's notes. here we are, the start of an era - take this as my 300 followers celebration. this chapter sets more of a scene and introduces the vast amount of personalities on our guest list.

chinju forest carries an aura unlike no other, bewildering to even the natives when it's compared to other sights in inazuma; from tsurumi island's mysterious fog to watatsumi island's mystical shrine, there is nothing that compares to the simplicity of chinju forest. flora that glow a turquoise blue in the dark of the forest with trees that tower and block out daylight and streams of fresh water that trickle between cracks in the rocks, chinju forest is indescribable with mere words. located at the heart of the forest stands the centuries old home of the kamisato clan, renown in inazuma for their glory and power. they're hidden away, distant from society and the prying eyes of strangers - just as they like it. so much so, that it felt odd for the kamisato siblings to host a social gathering at their beloved home. as heads of the yashiro commission, social events were not out of their line of work but yet it felt unfamiliar to see a courier scurry away from the estate with invitations filling their satchel. the younger sister reasoned that it was a gathering to celebrate the lift of the raiden shogun's tyranny, the sakoku decree opening up business to the rest of teyvat whilst the vision hunt decree's absence meant that many inazumans would no longer live in fear once more. in order to gain her older brother's approval, she offered that the gathering could be utilised for her brother's business matters, inviting some of the richest business people to wander teyvat.

the first guests to arrive at the hour of the gathering belong to the land of the archon of wisdom and verdure. they cling to each other in familiarity, a young green haired girl by the name of collei stuck at the sides of a taller, fox eared male and another male with shaggy silver hair. nilou keeps close to the akademiya's scribe and his expressive roommate, eyes of verdigris shades that stare around the wonders of chinju forest in a mild amazement buried by fear.

"what a place to live," tighnari comments amongst the group's silence, filled only by the sounds of their shoes on a stone slab path, "the flora here is astonishing, i wonder if they've had the sense to study it…"

tighnari's voice trails off as he crouches to stroke the leaves of the nearest plant with gloved fingers, the glow of the plant reflecting in his eyes as collei is quick to grab his upper arm, raising him back to his feet.

"master tighnari, we don't know if it's poisonous or not, stop touching the unknown plants!" she exclaims softly, drawing a laugh from the silver haired male as he tugs at tighnari's other arm, much to the fox's dismay when he grumbles under his breath about travelling back to inazuma at a later date. cyno nods in agreement, reassuring tighnari that they'll travel back so that tighnari may study these plants freely.

"collei!" a familiar female calls out into the silence of chinju forest, a brunette girl adorning red stands with three males and another young blonde girl. two of the males are taller, adorning red and blue hair respectively and carrying a tense energy between the two of them as they stand. beside the blue haired male is a shorter male in mint green attire, two small ombre braids framing his face. the blonde girl keeps her hair in pigtails, her eyes moving around the forest anxiously at every little sound, her fear shows clearly.

"amber!" the green haired girl returns in an equally excited voice, leaving the comforting presence of her friends to jog to the brunette, "i didn't know you was attending too?"

"yeah, i got an invitation while i was on a commission with captain kaeya - he invited himself and mondstadt's very own bard, venti!" amber beams, her grin widening ear-to-ear when diluc groans, shaking his head.

"when we get back to mondstadt, i'm teaching you how to say no to morons, amber." he comments lowly and kaeya clicks his tongue, a smug look on his tan face.

"don't be so harsh, master diluc, we're just here to bring more fun!" venti pokes into the conversation in a melodic tune, leaning closer to the redhead.

not far behind the mondstadt and sumeru friends is the elaborate and expensive atmosphere carried by the most notorious from liyue, freshly landed at the shores of inazuma's humid islands. the famous lady ningguang, the tianquan of the liyue qixing accompanied by quiet and gentle ganyu, acting upon being her secretary and the infamous captain beidou of the alcor not far on their tail. gossiping between themselves is the sweet, esteemed opera singer yun jin and the explosive pyro guitarist xinyan followed closely by the young lawyer yanfei, the leader of the arataki gang and the backbone - and sanity - of the arataki gang; arataki itto and kuki shinobu. lurking behind the crowd of famous liyue faces is the ministry of civil affairs very own yelan, stepping off the alcor last.

"is this your first time in inazuma, ningguang?" beidou chirps curiously, noticing the blonde woman's silence whilst the others gasp in awe of inazuma's brilliance. the moon reflects on the waves' ripples, calming yet eerie at what the night may hold in an estate full of strangers. ningguang sends a sly smile in the captain's direction, amused.

"i visited once on a business expedition before the sakoku decree was installed," the tianquan reveals even to the surprise of delicate ganyu, who's wide eyes find the taller lady instantly, "it's whimsical that not a thing has changed on the islands, isn't it? they've not expanded on their architecture or moved forward as society. the electro archon was succeeding at her beloved eternity, freezing her land in time."

yanfei gawks at the illustrious blue mushroom specimens sprouting in the tidal flats as the group walk, earning a confused look from itto.

"does liyue not have sea ganoderma?" he asks shinobu quietly, tilting his head like a lost puppy, "i've never seen someone like them. they're gross - have you ever touched one? man, they're crazy. slimy."

shinobu rolls her eyes, groaning more so to herself as she glances at the bigger male who towers over her. his appearance is terrifying, sparking fear into those who are unbeknownst to his oddly complicit personality, albeit perhaps she could even describe it as dense.

"sea ganoderma are native to inazuma, boss," she enunciates with a shake of her head, "why would i touch sea ganoderma - scratch that, why have you touched sea ganoderma?"

the bulky oni sends the small girl a sheepish smile, gritting his teeth as if he doesn't want to venture further into the story involved in that scenario. shinobu sighs exasperatedly, wondering what he'd do without her now.

already in loyal attendance at the historical inazuman estate is the firework maker's daughter, yoimiya - in all of her explosive glory as she carries crates full of fireworks designed specifically for the kamisato clan, even if she exclusively sneaked some of the naganohara family's special fireworks into the bunch too - and the fontainian news reporter, charlotte, who had arrived in inazuma days prior in an attempt to track the kamisato siblings and interview them before the event. she wanted the gossip, she craved it. she wanted to know how they felt about the decrees being lifted, the sudden shift in their beloved shogunate's political views and the changes in how she runs the country - not to forget their opinions on their own event, was they excited? did they have nerves? charlotte wanted it all, notepad at the ready.

"need a hand there, yoimiya?" thoma asks with a grin as he appears at the blonde's side, having just left the awfully awkward conversation charlotte was subjecting ayato and ayaka to. the blonde looks up at the taller male, returning an equally enthusiastic smile.

"you wouldn't mind, would you?" she laughs albeit a little nervously, realising the consequences of her decision not to enlist help from her father at this event. thoma shakes his head, lifting a crate of fireworks with ease, "just place it down over there, thank you thoma!"

the ginger chuckles, following the bright blonde's orders obediently as the courtyard fills with the rambunctious sounds of their guests from other nations, their faces joyous and filled with amazement as numerous of them comment on the architecture of the kamisato estate - kaveh, collei, yanfei and ningguang are few to name. the noise gains the attention of the infamous pale haired siblings, who venture over with warm, welcoming smiles and their hands clasped behind their backs.

"welcome to inazuma," the taller brother greets them first, his voice a low timbre that rumbles in his chest as he lifts his chin, shoulders pushed back with dignity, "even more so, to the kamisato estate. we hope that your journeys here have all been pleasant."

ayaka nods gently in agreement to her brother's words, eyes of glimmering blue waters hidden in a sheen of mist gaze over her invited guests, lingering on the likes of yelan and shinobu; strong souls with firm skin and an honourable reputation. a gentle silence fills the air following ayato's greeting and ayaka finds it in herself to utter her welcome from glossy lips, her eyes creasing into crescent moons when she tilts her head to the side with a smile.

"welcome to the kamisato estate, my esteemed guests."

Ranking Enchantix

I already did this in connection to a poll but I feel like making a separate post about it to formally complete the transformation rankings (of all the transformations that I consider worth it, that is) and add a bit more commentary here and there. Enchantix has basically everything so I'm dividing it into three categories again: Design, transformation and how they earned it.

Design-wise:

1. Stella

Absolutely adore the design! The additional colours harmonize really well with her main orange, her hair is amazing and still keeps the pigtails from her Magic Winx just different and her wings are incredibly beautiful. The style of her top and her skirt also fit her really well, I love the blue straps on her midriff, the petal design and the tiara she gets. I don't have a single point in criticism tbh.

2. Musa

Absolutely adore the design, again! The gloves, the puffy skirt, the top, the ribbons, the hair ornaments, the wings - everything! I don't even mind her long hair in this form because it would've grown in length from her short hair like that of the others does and it's still in her wonderful pigtails so it fits perfectly. My only criticism is that it should've been mainly in red, not pink, like her Magic Winx because that's her signature colour and looks the best on her.

3. Tecna

Love the design! I do miss the iconic jumpsuit a little but I love that they still kept the electric/techno feel of her powers by using so many sharp lines and edges. I also love her pi-shaped hair ornament and that her hair is still short. The bottom half of her wings being missing doesn't really bother me because I'm used to seeing it this way but it still means that they're less impressive than that of the others. I also don't like how they were supposed to look, they should have sharper lines like the rest of her outfit.

4. Flora

No complaints on the design itself, it looks great and fits her well. My only problem with it is that it feels so... safe? It's relatively similar to her Magic Winx in form and therefore doesn't feel as exciting as the ones the others get. Apart from her wonderfully beautiful wings she almost keeps the exact same silhouette. It does make this one feel like the most natural evolution which is a big plus but I tend to forget most of its details since it doesn't really stand out to me.

5. Aisha

I'm not the biggest fan of how the ornaments in her hair hang around her face. They also can't seem to make up their mind about which colours to put her in. Just from the colours I prefer the green version of it since it keeps her main colour but the blue one has the far better contrast and makes her stand out more. I wish they would've combined this in some way instead of making two different versions that both have their issues.

6. Bloom

I hate her dress. The rainbow colours are nice and make sense with the dragon flame being the source of all life in the magical universe but the frilly sectioning looks awful. This might actually be the first design that I genuinely don't like as a whole. The later transformations are definitely worse but I'm really not a fan of this one.

Transformation-wise:

1. Musa

Whoever came up with the idea of having a line of notes swirl around like a ribbon for her to grab onto and wrap around herself in a ballet-like dance to finally turn into her clothes deserves all the raises because that is so beautiful and incredible, I don't even know! I also love how her wings manifest from the notes dancing around her and how she does another twirl while flying at the end. And her final pose is so wonderfully dynamic!

2. Stella

The way she sparkles and shines is almost too much and I absolutely love it for her. The way her wings emerge like a rising sun is also so fitting! Her smile, wink and kiss directly into the "camera" express her personality wonderfully and I love that she and Musa flutter their wings at the end, it's such great detail.

3. Tecna

These digital/techno effects are everything and I love how it looks like the enhancements are made by a computer program that she even guides with her hand at the end. How her hair ornament turns into her wings and the way they connect with her is glorious. No criticisms.

4. Flora

I love the flower petal effect for her and how she emerges from a flower at the end, like a butterfly. (Which Bloom also does for... some reason?) I only have some tiny criticisms (the way her braid forms looks a little strained and there could be more focus on her wings and final pose) which only really "matter" because the other three are even more amazing.

5. Bloom

I love the dragon imagery but instead of actually joining with her or turning into clothes it just kind of... swirls around her uselessly? I also don't like that her clothes manifest with this sparkle effect instead of flames, that would've been more badass. Also not a fan of her final pose, it looks weird.

6. Aisha

She kinda has to lose this one by default because hers is by far the shortest and least elaborate. Wth were they doing here?! And what is it with Aisha always getting screwed over with the transformations? Her Magic Winx was already the shortest sequence, too.

How they earned it:

1. Tecna

I don't think there's any competition on this one, saving an entire planet (or the entire Magical Dimension, even) is so above and beyond! Not to mention her entire squad thinking she genuinely died only for her to prove them wrong. The way she walks into that portal ready to do anything it takes is so... Wow!

2. Stella

There's something about her rushing in front of a dragon to save her father and the way Radius holds her in his arms and screams her name that just gets me every time. I love how it breaks through the hold Cassandra has on him just for a moment. Such a beautiful combination!

3. Flora

The image of her floating lifelessly to the ground entangled in those weeds will probably haunt me forever. I think she's also the only one of the Winx who genuinely died for a moment whereas most of the others "only" nearly died. Insane! I love the tragedy of it and how epic it is when she emerges from the water again.

4. Musa

I absolutely adore the concept of hers, rushing into a raging fire to save Galatea, but the execution hinders it. It's not quite as dramatic as the previous three even though it easily could've (and should've) been with both of them succumbing to the smoke before she rises again. Instead she just screams a bit and that's enough. It's still epic but it just misses that last little bit of oomph.

5. Aisha

Her sacrifice itself is great but it loses a good deal of epicness by being a significantly calmer affair than that of the others. She transforms way later in safety and isn't actually, you know, in the process of literally dying. I like the uniqueness of it, that she sacrifices her sight instead of her life, especially considering Aisha's fear of the dark, but it still makes it feel somewhat lesser.

6. Bloom

Transforming by sheer force of will is certainly impressive but compared to everything the others had to go through it's kind of... meh. I would've much preferred it if she had earned it by sacrificing herself for someone from Earth (e.g. her parents) because that's her true home. It would've been a lot more meaningful and emotional that way.

I still stand by this ranking even after having rewatched S3 again. There's some stuff I could articulate better with having this refresher but my opinions are still the same as how I remembered them.

I know this isn’t my normal fire emblem topic but I feel like switching it up. I wanna give my opinion on the reboot winx designs.

Side note: I will only talk about the designs and not the transformations. Since that is a topic for a different time. Also I heard rumors about the designs might originate from AI, but I am not gonna touch that since I don’t know if it’s true or not.

Also, this is my opinion. If you disagree then make your own post about it. Otherwise, enjoy my takes.

🌸FLORA🌹

I would admit, it’s not ugly. I like the top but I feel like the skirt is a little bit…messy yet not messy? Like I get it may supposed to look like a rose but I am not a fan of the lawyers look.

I also don’t like how big the wings are. Kind of wish it was smaller and are green since it is a lot of pink. Also wish the boots were a closer pink color to the top.

But I do like the flowers in her hair and the braid. It gives her this girly charm. Overall, I like her top half but kind of dislike the lower.

I am not gonna sugarcoat it. I hate it. Simple as that. It doesn’t scream Tecna at all. If you like it, i respect it but I can’t.

The top looks like a regular top. I don’t really like her wings (which will be a common complaint from me). I don’t mind the pants to much but it feels more like a casual outfit and slapping on wings then a fairy transformation

I actually like this one better than Flora’s and Tecna’s. Her outfit is looks similar to her original magic winxs design.

The only complaint I have is the hair and the wings. I wish her hair was still up and her wings are normal. I know they are supposed to look like piano keys but I kind of wish they are simple.

I have mixed feelings on this one. I like the boots, skirt and the hair but the top and wings are…idk.

Also I like how in the original, Stella had pigtails in her transformation and her hair was down in her normal day to day look but in the reboot, it’s switch. I kind of like it.

I don’t really have any comment on her, might update it later if I change my mind.

I like how they lean more into her water vibe. In the og, I don’t recall her using water a lot. And in the og it flips between teal, green and blue a lot.

I feel like the open skirt is unnecessary. I feel like if they remove it and make her shirts longer or just give her a normal skirt, I may like it more. But the open skirt brings it down for me.

Similar to Tecna. I hate it. I kind of get the themed warrior vibe. But it feels like they added way too much to her design. Keep in mind, this is their base transformation. It’s not supposed to look so detailed.

Also the shoulder pad ain’t doing it for me. But I do like her hair, it looks okay but the outfit looks busy.

These hoes are green now, and pink!! Which are opposites on the color wheel, I only mention this because they have the same level of saturation

I'm kinda obsessed with Stella's hair, it's cute and I would love to see more braids from her. Not sure why airplane stewart is a greenhouse outfit but whatever I don't have the energy to care

Flora looks cute but why is her jacket so military/futuristic??? Her shoes too. This outfit is so Tecna, on the opposite spectrum of fashion to Flora. Weird

Aisha looks good and I remember how fucking often they put her hair in those pigtails and I do not like it. Outfit is really cute, but it doesn't look good monochromatic

Bloom is the only one with any visual interest, and that's because her hair is neon reddish orange. Bloom also notably has the smallest waist and it's making me uncomfortable. Her outfit is whatever, it's not Bloom it's just whatever

Musa in a bubble skirt will always be a crime against humanity. This however reaffirms that the low pigtails look so much better with the long hair, and I refuse to comment on the rest of that monstrosities

What IS Tecna wearing???? What about this is green house???? Why does she have shoulder pads???? With the radiator shades??? Seriously this reminds me of military fashion so much and I don't know WHY they went with this criminals. I'm not talking about that vest skirt combo, it doesn't exist and it can't hurt me

♡ Lady Tsunade ♡

☆ I just really love that despite her older age, Tsunade is able to make her pigtails suit her. She makes it look mature somehow, and I wanted that vibe for my girl Biani when she's ready to get business done. I've defo referenced Tsunade for some of my sketches of my girl 🙈

♡ Las Adelitas ♡

☆ Aka a woman mexican soldier during the Mexican Revolution. Y'all already know that my culture and history constantly inspires me and my art. A builder that fights enemies in a game with cowboys (or yakboys ig) and it's called "my time at SANDROCK" with guns being one of my go-to weapons? It made sense 🤷‍♀️

☆In my head, she's literally Biani as a mom through and through. Her kids definitely would seek her for comfort since she'd be such a gentle parent. She'd dote on her children, kisses them despite them being slightly embarrassed about it, and no matter what, she'd love her kids equally and is proud of em. You see Julieta doing all of this in the movie and just- AHH I love her sm 🥲💕

♡Hinata Hyuga♡

☆I feel like Biani's character arc would be similar to Hinata's. Hinata, although very hesitant and shy, pushed herself through her internal struggles to train in order to defend herself, and to protect her friends and love ones.

♡Flora♡

☆ Flora is the most gentle and mature character out of the Winx Club girlies. She often gets nervous, especially during social interactions, but depsite this, she somehow manages to be calm and reasonable during battles. She is also very willing to sacrifice herself for her loved ones (my poor girl flora really went THROUGH it sometimes during the series 😭)

♡Raya from Jem and the holograms♡

☆I'm still watching this show, BUT I LOVE HER SM ALREADY. Raya is a skilled drummer, but lacks confidence in herself. With the push of her father, he manages to convince her to audition as a drummer for Jem's band (way to go pops! 🥲). She is now thriving being surrounded by her new and supportive friends. That is literallllyyyy Biani with her family.

I've never done any oc things like this, but this was sm fun! Thnx to whoever made this template :)

Winx Club Hot Take 6!

What ever happened to these girls?! With how well they're designed compared to other background characters, you'd think they would be somewhat crucial to the story. Meet Alice (the curly red-head in blue & pink), Emma (the red pigtail girl in red pants), Trista (orange dress & purple braided hair), Vicky ( short purple hair in blue), Marzia (a girl with blue hair, yellow head scarf, & red shirt) and Clarice (the one in the middle with the most detail & blonde pigtails). I've seen Clarice, Marzia and Trista make appearances in Season 3 while Emma may have appeared in the film, The Secret of the Lost Kingdom so I assume they were freshman at the time. By the beginning of Season 4, I would assume they're now sophomores with Alice and Vicky being freshman. Season 4, Episode 1 was the ONLY time these girls stepped into the spotlight beyond being background characters....well, mainly just Alice and Clarice. This episode had established that The Winx are now assisted teachers at Alfea having graduated so that means they can't live in their iconic student dormitory anymore.

The Winx find that out when they are met with the background girls I mentioned prior now residing in their old dorm rooms. The Winx were a bit upset by this, but the new residents (especially Alice) were thrilled at the idea of staying in a dorm previously home to the Alfea graduates who earned their Enchantix and defeated previous villains during their school years. Clarice however, isn't impressed. Throughout the first half of the episode, Clarice was more annoyed with The Winx if anything thinking that "because they're Enchantix fairies they think they're all that" since all of Alfea idolizes them. She was so bothered by them that she sabotages The Winx's exercise course as a way to humiliate them, but it unfortunately results in putting Flora in the infirmary. Even worse, Alice was accused of causing this and is going to be sent away. When The Wizards of the Black Circle arrive to attack Bloom, Alice rushes in to get help and participates in the battle. By the end of the episode, Clarice admits she sabotaged the course and apologizes so she and Alice can stay at Alfea.

That's all they contributed to the series. After that, they go back to background characters. They don't even stay in The Winx's dorm for very long because Season 5 decided to write our main fairies back into students again! These girls were such a missed opportunity! Roxy becomes a new student at Alfea so why couldn't she move in with them?! Bloom, Flora, Stella, Aisha, Techna, and Musa are Alfea graduates who now run a magic pet store on Earth while also being Guardian Fairies. They're done with school so I feel like the series would've made for an interesting new arc of Roxy, Alice, Clarice, Emma, Vicky, Trista, and Marzia becoming the next generation of The Winx Club instead of having our existing main six being 16 over and over again from Seasons 5 through 8. It would've been nice to see episodes of Roxy learning how to be a fairy in a magic school similar to Bloom's arc in Season 1. We got a glimpse of seeing who Alice and Clarice are but we never got to see the personalities of the other girls. I feel like maybe the comic issues did this a bit better, but it still would've been fun to see it onscreen.
