After seeing Rammstein live in Dublin last month, they played live 'Wiener Blut' (one I'd not heard played live or even generally) and it was stuck in my head that whole week. So I started sketching this out to appease the music demons in my brain and finished it off this week.

Summary:

i just saw a radioapple animatic to a lovely night from la la land and i think it just hit me why i don't ship alastor and lucifer. i think it's infinitely funnier if instead of having the classic enemies to lovers dynamic there really is just hatred between them but all of hell is CONVINCED otherwise

like obviously given that theyre both father figures to charlie there's already rumors circulating but picture this. everyone in the hotel saw how close those two got during their duet so theyre like well maybe there's something there🤨🏳️‍🌈? but lucifer walks into the room after the hotel's been rebuilt and alastor immediately gets up off the couch to leave. but before he can even make it halfway there lucifer trips on nothing and somehow ends up IN his arms. straight out of a romance manga. and it only takes them half a second to get to opposite ends of the room but by that point angel's already taken 12 pictures and posted it on twitter and an hour later it's trending because of course it is. the radio demon and the king of hell are living together and theyve been spotted in such a compromising position? how scandalous! whatever, theyre both public figures so they both hope it brushes over quickly enough

but the worst part is it keeps happening. alastor goes to take a smoke break in the middle of the night and finds lucifer there on the roof. and when he tries to get back inside the door locks behind him and they have to call charlie to let them back in. but by that time a vox drone has already taken a video of the whole thing. they get into a fight at some point and someone walks in right as it was getting heated and thinks they were going to kiss. they were not. alastor just got so pissed that he was about to headbutt lucifer with his antlers. it's like theyre under some kind of romance trope spell and it's absolutely INFURIATING to both of them

all of the tabloids are running stories on this. it's the opening subject of every overlord meeting and alastor has to FIGHT to keep smiling every time as he insists there's nothing there. vox bursts into val's room in tears because he thinks his worst nightmare's come true and alastor's fucking the king of hell. everybody's terrified of what the fallout would be if they ever broke up. half the sinners are convinced that any day the hotel's just going to explode. no one believes in god anymore but it's the one thing that makes them start praying. but there actually is NOTHING there they just can't get anyone to believe otherwise. and neither of them has the heart to yell at charlie for continuously trying to push them together

i am OBSESSED with that one yandere hantengu clone art! but i do wonder, did you change their appearance a bit to make them look alike but at the same time not? this is hard to explain, but i observed the clones nose shape, sekidos hair being more different than the others, and facial structures making them each being different. very sorry if this doesn’t make sense it’s hard explaining what i noticed (T ^ T)

I think I understand what you mean, don't worry! you did wonderfully!

and basically, yes and no!

Some things were probably accidental (like facial structure), but the purposeful tweaks were their eyes and hair yeah!

I wanted the viewer to be able to tell the difference between them without being explicitly told who's who.

I've heard that depending on what expression you're making often, it changes how you rest your face, and I wanted that to translate into how i drew them!

that and if you look REALLY closely, there are some subtle differences between them all in the anime/manga, so i accentuated those and added my own spin to it too.

So, if i were to draw the four making a neutral expression, it'd look something like this!

And that would HOPEFULLY be enough to give you an idea about who's who while also keeping their faces EXTREMELY similar yet a little different at the same time

but knowing me....... i'd probably still make it super obvious.......

I changed their nose because Hantengu had a sharp nose, and I thought it'd be hot cool to see them with one! I have no excuse for the eye bags and dimples.. they look like they have the type of hot guy aura to have those traits............... orz

i try not to forget small details but i probably do sometimes making them look different //slams head against wall

You knew Terzo had a sweet tooth before the two of you ever got together. But goddamn, you didn’t know the absolute lengths of monster this man will transform into to get his hands on some baked goods and candies. The reminder happens every year come the fall because sure, sweets exist in all forms all throughout the year but let’s be honest: From autumn onward, confections and their appearances spike.

From pumpkin bread to apple cider donuts to rum bread puddings to gingersnaps to whiskey balls — all of that and more, Terzo is a glutton for them. He is, after all, meant to set an example for his flock.

You, however, are long-suffering: You can’t seem to go one day in the kitchen without trying to beat him away with a wooden spoon becaUSE DAMMIT, TERZO, THOSE CANNOLI ARE FOR LATER, YOU FOUL BEAST!! I don't CARE if the spoon was left defenseless and covered in chocolate, iT'S NOT FOR YOU TO SAMPLE!! NOW OUT!! OUUUTTT!!!!

He’ll oblige you for now but you know he’ll come back. He can never stay out for long. Not when you’re making scrumptious peppermint marshmallows for putting into cups of cocoa, or are pulling maple bacon scones out of the oven to cool.

And yes, you know he has come into your workspace, trying to distract you with bedroom eyes as purrs as silky smooth as the batter you're mixing, pulling you up nice and close until you feel the head of his abdomen . . . All while one hand is trying to reach behind you for the meringues you'd just plated. And he'll do it again!!!

You've made deals with him that if he's a good boy, you'll let him lick spoons you give him or you'll let him sample some of the newer concoctions you've whipped up. But at the end of the day, you know it's pointless: Terzino is going to get his grubby mitts on them one way or another, and he'll happily munch on them as you lean against the counter in defeat.

"Grazie, dolcezza. Sublime as always 💜💜💜," he coos, giving you a kiss on the cheek. Surprisingly, you don't mind too terribly that he's left a crumby, slightly sticky mark in his wake. Because for as much of a pain in the ass as he can become when sweets are involved, he ultimately is what he eats. Most of the time.

Think about it, it takes 120 Shrines to unlock, and you get pretty much Hyrule's clothes.

I can just imagine Hyrule and his Zelda planning this place out, and she just goes "I have an Idea, what if we just lock the place down and you have to complete a LOT of puzzles" Evil Face.
