Is Magneto mistaken or am I taking this too literally?
Ambassador Magneto has a lot to say in House of X, especially to humans on the subject of violence.
All his dreams are coming true and he's not shy about expressing his feelings on the matter. At the Jerusalem habitat the other ambassadors (who are all intelligence plants) claim to be wary of military advantage Krakoa and the gates provide.
Let's fact check Magneto there. 'There has never been a mutant war.'
What's this then? It doesn't sound very good at first glance but can it be considered a mutant war? It's basically Magneto himself unleashing an EMP and making demands of the UN. A mutant sanctuary - one they gave him too - Genosha. Terrorist act? Yeah defs. War? I'd say no.
What else? Oh yeah, that time Magneto conquered Santo Marco, a fictional South American country. Spoilers for a comic from 1963.
Okay so shelling is bad, definitely a warlike action, though it's later said there were no casualties at all, mainly thanks to Mastermind's illusions. Still, really bad optics there dude. The fake soldiers are straight up goose-stepping. This is drawn by Jack Kirby too, who definitely had strong feelings about that kind of thing - not something he'd portray unintentionally.
You'll note Mags having pseudo telepathy at this point, mainly bc Stan Lee had no idea how magnetism works.
Let's be honest, there's a big Nazi vibe to this occupation. This is in X-Men #4 in 1963, over a decade before Mags was retconned into a Jewish holocaust survivor. I'm honestly not a big fan of the original X-Men run and I can see why it got cancelled. Magneto was their greatest foe, but he was a pretty one dimension Doctor DOOM expy with none of the pathos, willpower or consistent ideology Claremont would reinvigorate him with. Anyway, sensing defeat, Magneto arms a nuke to blow the whole country up. Yikes.
It's actually Quicksilver who solves that problem, deciding he's not okay with nuking a few million people. It's the start of his face turn proper, with only Wanda's 'debt' to Mags keeping her there, and therefore Quicksilver as well.
See? Not cool, Mags. Not cool. When it's all said and done though, his occupation of Santo Marco is very brief and news doesn't get out. I assume Chuck had something to do with that. Though the country refuses to accept Krakoa for 'ideological reasons' nearly 60 years later, so maybe not. I'm going to say it definitely counts as 'conquering their land and making slaves of their people ' though.
Honestly, Magneto has died a lot since then, had amnesia and barely aged in 70 years so maybe he doesn't remember. One could argue that the spirit of what he's saying is correct - Magneto the individual did a lot of supervillain shit but there hasn't been a unification of mutants who then warred upon humans. Indeed, the opposite is true. Most mutant conflicts that could be called a war were defensive after these events.
None of the 'ambassadors' took issue with past events or his record, instead focusing on future hypotheticals. Someone should tell them that if mutants united in world conquest they'd likely be very successful and humans wouldn't know until it was too late. Technically Magneto has been tried for his acts before an international court, and acquitted because he'd been turned into a baby and was considered a different person. Yes, really.
The conversation pivots to the emissaries being there in bad faith, with slick concealing a gun. (Not that it would be very useful.)
Magneto demonstrates why that's the case and doesn't budge on his position. I guess we could say Magneto was (technically) right, in this specific circumstance. A show of force is certainly needed to make them take Krakoa seriously. It's only fitting then that Mags acts as the stick to make the carrot more palatable. I've still got room for one more pic so here's the X-Men enjoying post-training birthday cake, cut by Cyclops and his POWER BEAM. The X-Men's first birthday as a group.
Note the contrast in vibes around the Brotherhood of EEEVIL Mutants' dinner table, with petty bickering, Mastermind being a creep (the X-Men have that too tho NGL,) and a very impressive tower of mashed potato. Good to know Toad has poor table manners and that Pietro is willing to punch on over it. Not to be mean, but Wanda's headgear looks super silly. Oh well, it was the sixties!

As the remaining Quiet Council are discussing family matters and their plans on going home, Kafka the winged mutant boy overhears the conversation and starts to have doubts. Kafka eventually talks to Exodus about his doubt about how the rest of the mutants may have to stay behind in White Hot Krakoa while some of the mutants are selected to go home (and fight Orchis). The Quiet Council and the chosen mutants prepare for a ritual which Mister Sinister empties a vial of Cypher's genes into the pool so that Krakoa could help them in teleporting the mutants back home. The Krakoan vines wrap around Mister Sinister & the mutants and turns them into buds. Hope Summers remains behind on White Hot Krakoa as she reminds herself that she has to bring Phoenix Force back and she has some Messiah shit to do. Back on Earth, Apocalypse is dragging Krakoa-Treant back to Krakoa island when the chosen mutants pop right out of the flowers.
Much later, Hope Summers is having much difficulty in dealing with the Phoenix Force and Jean Grey. In order to save all of mutantkind and resurrect both the Phoenix and Jean Grey, Hope alongside the help of Legion (as the talking Hope Gun) shot the Phoenix with the consequence being her sacrificing herself in the process. Jean and the Phoenix have come back but Hope is gone. Meanwhile, the mutants are fighting the Stark Sentinels on the ruins of Krakoa island when Exodus, Destiny and Mystique teleport in. The Hope Sword is back in Nightcrawler's hands. Even though Destiny hugs Nightcrawler after some getting her motherly memories back from Xavier, she gives the bad news - Hope Summers is dead. Exodus at first doesn't believe it then announces that Hope has returned to whence she came. "The word made flesh, the flesh made immortal. She is with Krakoa in exile in spirit." Nightcrawler says the Krakoan mutants are trapped in the White Hot Room, lost forever. But Exodus, returning to the fight and attacking a Sentinel, says the people of Krakoa will return, that the Krakoan age will come again. Nightcrawler asks Destiny if they can win but she still sees no victory.
The Krakoan mutants including the Five minus Hope and Jumbo Carnation are stuck in the White Hot Krakoan Room arguing around a table trying to figure out how they will function, who will do what, etc. Little Kafka gets annoyed and tells everyone to shut up. He tells the room that they have to be better than this, that they have no rulers, no leaders, no heroes. That they have to be the Quiet Council and that means they have to listen. He takes charge and starts working to assign tasks such as food supply, tutoring, teaching. It's a bittersweet last page as that little hero is determined to make Krakoa, despite being lost in the White Hot Room.

The trapped Krakoan mutants in the White Hot Room reminds me of the ending of Drifting Classroom manga when the elementary school students in the bad future dimension cannot go home after several tries. So the trapped students decide to stay and work together in the ruined future to build a new civilization.

Some ShuriKan headcanons, because YOU MADE ME DO THIS
Seriously, hellsite sweethearts. I did not anticipate spending this much of the first day of this Year of our Blorb 2023 thinking about this, but it turned out to be quite the ride. File this under: Does it count as "Domestic Bliss" if the domicile is actually multiple international palaces and there's a sort of "on land/underwater" element in play?
The kids have Namor absolutely wrapped around their adorable, chubby little fingers. He cannot say no to them, although he likes to pretend he can.
Okoye also indulges them to an extent, but in a very, "Mm-hm. What does your father say? And what does your mother say?" method. (Winner is often the ruler of whichever nation they're currently in, but the balance naturally tips in Shuri's favor surprisingly often. Okoye and Namora come to be aligned in this, as practical people who realize that Namor has not one lick of goddamn sense when it comes to spoiling those precious babies.)
Shuri spends a lot of time outfoxing the entire lot of them. Things still have to get done, it can’t be all, “Oh, sorry ambassador, gotta take a three-hour break from treaty negotiations because the kids have an emergency whale-ride situation…”
She and Namor have a parenting dynamic not unlike that couple from The Emperor’s New Groove. “Oh suuure, you can stay up late! We’ll just be in here telling each other how much we love each other, [exaggerated smoochy face noises].”
But when the kids do run away, declaring them gross, Namor’s like, “...Well, since we’re here…” And then Shuri’s like, “OMG, husband, I have so many things to do.” And he gives her the sad sea-otter eyes, and she’s like, “YOU have so many things to do! We have to do the paperwork for the treaty with the UN! And don’t even get me started on Krakoa!” And he’s all, “Nooooooooo! Cara mia! [Flop] My humidifier…I feel weak…” And she’s already walking away suppressing a giggle like, “Oh, okay, I’ll have Riri take a look, maybe she can tweak the enviro settings in the office for you?” And he’s like, “NO, THAT’S OKAY, THAT’S COOL, GONNA JUST HOP IN THE SHOWER, WORK TO DO, FEELING SO PRODUCTIVE, LOVE YOU…”
Also, Riri is the one who introduced Namor to the term “thirst trap,” and initially he was like, “...thirst???...trap…???...like??? The thing you…put me in????” And of course she’s like, “OMG, no, fool, it’s…you know what, I’ll just show you, it’ll be faster.”
A couple hours and some copious notes later, he’s like, “Okay. I think…Right. I’m gonna need to move some really big mirrors around, but I think…yeah…yes. I can do this.”
He trots back in like 5 minutes later all, “Okay, explain about the selfie stick again–you know what, no. No, I can…we’ve got the spears from last years test models, or…intern! That’s it, I’ll get an intern!”
10 minutes later, “Hey, where do I get the shirts??? That go like???" [Makes a V-shaped gesture from collarbone area to approximately navel]
Namor doesn’t really “do” social media, because he’s still very private, and doesn’t want the greater world to know about his kingdom. So he pretty much only spams Shuri with thirst trap pictures.
Never dick pics, though. He’s classy.
The first time Shuri calls him “mi amor,” he’s like, “Oh. Oh noooooooooooooo! Oh, I did not think this through, ohhhhhhhhhhh…” And that’s when he goes full Gomez. Because she wouldn’t do it lightly. She would really have to have healed, A LOT, and they would both have to have grown significantly, both individually and together, and damn wouldn’t that moment really clobber him? No longer sin amor, but con amor. And still Namor. Hell of a thing.

This weeks thoughts:
Uncanny avengers:
I thought this was bad lol. Idk maybe other people are less jaded about this storyline than I am and have more patience for it but I was just "meh" from the beginning*
Hey maybe this time duggan will actually do something with fenris and not just pointlessly set them up with no pay off (sorry but he's bad at his job it's my duty to make fun of him)
Monet is the baby of this team by a wide margin, watch them forget that
Watch them forget that she can fly. They already seem to
Similarly, like, yeah Penance would lose a fight to "Captain krakoa", but Monet absolutely wouldn't. The fact that she is more powerful untransformed seems to have been forgotten. Still mad at Hickman's legacy here.
* I think the thing that's getting to me is that sins of Sinister and judgement day were both gillian led events. And I cared about the latter not so much the former. But in both cases the core books where written by someone competent. That's not the case here.
X-men red:
I hope the sambertos are enjoying themselves
Overall, positives from me.
Voices x-men:
This I liked.
Everything on arakko was fun. The banter between Bobby and storm felt on point. Indulgent maybe but still fun.
Brotherhood is a lgbtq sanctuary confirmed.
Also the gen x pics because my babies:
Dark xmen:
This was funny, hope it keeps up that energy
Liked that they remembered that little detail with azazel and the st croix lot
Happy to see phantazia
And both lady masterminds! That's funny to me idc
Leaving Warren behind was also funny I don't make the rules.
Overall, I'm liking a lot of the stuff that's on the periphery, but not the main stuff of this fall of X event. Also I get that it's hypocritical to have so much optimism and positivity for everything but duggans work but I can't explain it. Even when he's not being actively bad yet, his vibes are off. And he's holding my girl captive so I have to read his stupid book and I resent that.

Hi! I’ve loved reading your takes on Mystique on both your twitter and your tumblr. I too think she is a fascinatingly complex character with a lot of nuance that is often overlooked in her stories. After reading Messiah Complex, I have fallen even more in love with how compelling of a character she is. Would you be able to share your recommendations for all the Mystique comics a fan of Mystique should read?
Thank you very much! My top two pics would definitely be Wolverine: Get Mystique (which served as the epilogue to Messiah Complex incidentally enough) as well as X-Men Unlimited #4, "Theories of Relativity." I'd also highly recommend Mystique's limited solo-series from the early 2000s written by Brian K. Vaughan and Sean McKeever, plus Mystique made her big debut as an X-Men villain in the classic Days of Future Past storyline, and while I personally haven't read the Jonathan Hickman Krakoa era, the Inferno miniseries was notable for finally resurrecting Mystique's wife Destiny after the character remained dead in comics for nearly three decades.

I mean, I like him (profile pic aside, lol). I’d say yes, he’s worth checking out if you like snikt characters. But I recognize he’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Especially with his earlier characterization, he’s a bit more brutal, morally grey, and in your face than Laura and especially Gabby – they sanitized/softened his character quite a bit since Krakoa. He was originally a “villain” created as sort of a foil for Logan, embodying his darker nature and all that. In addition to being more androgenous vs. Logan’s ultra-macho personality, being queer (In comics they say bisexual, but I think the OG creator intended pansexual specifically if I remember correctly) He often acted selfishly, zero issues doing whatever it took to achieve his goals, and initially denied himself even the bare acknowledgement of ever thinking he could care about anyone (Very much traumatized and has trauma responses, not that he’d ever admit it) He’s been through a hell of a lot, being ripped from his mother’s womb by Romulus, reclaiming the name Daken for himself (the term literally means “mixed dog/mongrel” due to him being biracial. It’s not technically an actual slur, but still not a nice thing to call someone. Very much a metaphor for reclaiming slurs and taking back power for yourself to sum it up real quick), decades of abuse and control, brainwashing, etc. He slowly became more heroic after Logan’s death, becoming very close to Laura and going through a bit of self-discovery. He’s a lot softer nowadays and loves his sisters, but also fair warning, they kind of glossed over a LOT of his “reformation” and working thru trauma and basically becoming the anti-hero he is now. A very nuanced, complex, and interesting character with a lot of untapped potential.
Daken Akihiro.
What’s his deal? Like do people who like Logan, Laura, and Gabby usually like him? Is he worth checking/reading into if you like said snikt characters? I mostly just treat Daken as the plus one to the snikt fam, like just there to round out the group and generally a nuisance when he’s not with them?
Just curious, any info would be appreciated.

Tempus, Proteus, Hope, Elixir, Egg...
The Five.
The foundation on which the nation of Krakoa has been built. Individual mutants who, while powerful in their own right, when working in unison, have managed to cheat Death of her prize by resurrecting their dead.
They've been a cornerstone of the Krakoan era of the X-Men and, most recently, have even joined the arena of Krakoan politics with Hope joining the Quiet Council. And the question has often been asked as to what would happen to Krakoa if anything ever happened to the Five. This is such a worry that there are protocols in place in case one of of the Five ends up dead themselves. After all, who is going to resurrect the resurrectors? It's been mentioned (via data pages) that mutants like Mimic and Synch are on standby in case something happens to them, as they're both very capable of easily filling in for whatever role is suddenly vacant.
With Judgment Day just around the corner, I've been thinking about what would potentially happen if Moira's plan works, even if it's only having Druig and his Eternals taking out the Five. Synch is powerful, but he's not THAT powerful.
Anyway, here are my pics for who could replace the Five.
#1. Fabio Medina - EGG
There is no other mutant like Egg. Whereas the other members of the Five have other mutants who could fill their roles, there is no one (aside from someone like Synch, Rogue or Mimic) who could use his powers, and he needs to be alive (even if just at first) for them to copy his powers. The only way resurrection works is with his eggs, so he is very necessary.
That being said, I'm pretty sure he doesn't create a new egg pod at the beginning of each resurrection. It was shown during X OF SWORDS that they stock the entire hatchery with them. So I'm pretty sure, if nothing else, he'd have his very own pod waiting for his resurrection, stored in a secure location so that he could resume his work with the new Five.
#2. Christopher Muse - TRIAGE
I've stated before, in another post about potential Omega level mutants, that Triage has the same abilities as Elixir, and so he would be the ideal choice to fill that role for the Resurrection Protocols.
Healer would also be a potential candidate for this role.
#3. Heather Tucker - TEMPO
Much like Triage, Heather's powers are nearly identical to Tempus. In fact, with people arguing that Tempus should be classified as an Omega level mutant, I'd say the same for Tempo, because Heather has been shown to be just as (if not more) powerful than Eva, especially within the pages of the current run of MARAUDERS.
#4. Franklin Richards - POWERHOUSE
I went back and forth on this one because, technically speaking (at the moment), Franklin isn't (or maybe he is?) a mutant (he's totally a mutant! Fuck you, Dan Slott!). I mean, we do have other reality warping mutants that could very easily fill that role, but given my feelings on how Franklin was handled by Slott (🤬), I wanted to give this character a shot at "redemption", rather in a similar way that was granted to Wanda during the TRIAL OF MAGNETO.
Characters like Mister M, Monarch, Mad Jim Jaspers (lot of Ms here) as well as Wanda Maximoff herself, could also fill this role.
#5. Everett Thomas - SYNCH
I know I mentioned him as someone who could fill any role within the Five as required, but if we had to have a brand new Five, Synch would be my pick to replace Hope. He can already do what Hope can do when it comes to copying powers and so forth, and that was actually one of my initial gripes with the character of Hope when she was introduced. Same with Tempo and Tempus. There seems to be a recurring theme of writers liking a character of color's power set and then wouldn't ya know, there's suddenly a white character that has that exact same power who gets far more air time.
Unofficial (or auxiliary) members would include people like Fabian Cortez (or a Boost Fruit) to grant a power boost as needed (because Khora of the Burning Heart would definitely NOT participate) and whatever psychic is needed to access the Cerebro backups.
And yeah.
That's my version of the Five, if anything happens to them. In fact, it would be my suggestion that these mutants be utilized in conjunction with the current Five to help speed up the resurrection queue that still has several million mutants sitting on the back burner.

Firestar appears in three comics on this week’s comics!
1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th pics = X-Men #13 (Angelica Jones a.k.a Firestar is one of the mutants who had been chosen to be part of the X-Men team for public relations and other heroic stuff. Here, Firestar is involved with Iceman, Forge, Synch, Havok and Magik who infiltrate through the Eternals’ machines to disable it from attacking Krakoa. Meanwhile, there’s an open letter from Angelica’s father who is not keen about having his daughter get drafted into the X-Men team because he doesn’t trust Emma Frost.)
8th pic = A.X.E.: Death to the Mutants #1 (Firestar is only found in a cameo where she enters into the portal with Magik and her team).
9th pic = X-Men 92: House of XCII #4 (In this House of XCII AU, Firestar had not been chosen to be part of X-Men team. Even though the story takes place in the 90s, there’s still not a single cameo of the New Warriors except Firestar in the party. What a pity).
Unfortunately, there’s not a single mention of New Warriors in all comics, just mentions of Firestar’s involvement with the Avengers in X-Men #13.

I saw three 'ships a-sailing in
Well, five actually. From worst to best, the five 'ships of Krakoa.
#1 WORST - Jogott (?)
There isn't actually much to say about this trio except it seems like a fantasy cooked up by a fanboy who wanted to see Jean get double-teamed. Jean, let them have each other. You can do much, much better.
#2 - UGH - Betsel (?)
The reason this 'ship is preoccupying so many readers is because the story itself bears little discussion. Excalibur makes the reader do all the work filling in the blanks, building characterization/storytelling/action on our own during the "time jumps" between issues. This pairing could be everything or it could be nothing. It's up to the reader, I suppose. Again, Rach, you can do better. Betsy seems determined to sleep with every member of the Summers family. Just run, run away from this train-wreck.
#3 - Meh - Romy
Well, this is pretty much par for the course and I'm really bored of it. Rogue dictates the terms and conditions of the relationship while Gambit is just along for the ride, happy just to be near her because he'll never be good enough for anything more. Though Remy doesn't even get to be near her now that she's fucked off to the X-Men while he's stuck in Fairyland. Well, it's a good thing Remy has the cats at least.
4 - This pleases me - Psycrow (but I prefer Greylocke because it sounds cooler)
Just a couple of assassins fallin' for each other, and we forgive them anything because they are just--so--hot. No, seriously. Kwannon shows John empathy and compassion. John shows Kwannon respect, trust and loyalty. They've built a team over the 18 short issues we've been given and actually rely on one another. I'm on board this 'ship. Let's sail away!
My god, their future kids' hair is going to be so damn sexy.
On to the NUMBER ONE BEST SHIP ON KRAKOA!
Which 'ship has it all? Mutual respect and admiration? Communication? Compromise? An egalitarian approach to a functioning relationship in hopes of a shared future together?
drumroll please....
#5 - Douglockoa!
The most healthy, balanced relationship award goes to this awesome throuple. Let's give it up for these people who share a meaningful bond that goes beyond romance.
Below is a pic of Bei knowing her husband is having a torrid emotional affair with a robot and a tree.
Sorry, Bei Bei. You just don't measure up. Douglockoa FOR-EVAH!

What Rogue was doing on that fateful day of Hellfire Gala
As the Avengers were distracted by the distress calls and hearing the news of the terrorism attack, Rogue goes out of Krakoaland with the Avengers to help them out. Meanwhile, Captain America was on the way to the Capitol Building when he was ambushed and attacked by the Orchis Soldiers. Before Captain America could drown, he was saved by Rogue who pulls him out of the water with magnetism as borrowed from Polaris. It is likely that Rogue had absorbed Polaris' magnetic powers off-panel. Iron Man comes in to check on Captain America at the bridge. Even though Captain America had lost his motorcycle, nearly choked and drowned; it doesn't stop them from carrying on their Avenger duty by going to Washington DC to stop the terrorist attack carried by Orchis.
Back to Krakoaland, the Hellfire Gala party had been ruined with the attacks by Orchis. Several mutants dead, most of the mutants are scattered and Charles Xavier is at mercy by the insane Moira-Bot. Before she could finish him off with a blade, Rogue comes in and destroys Moira-Bot (temporarily) and gets Xavier out of Krakoaland. It turned out that Rogue and the Avengers had to leave the gala as they were called up because the Orchis had distracted the Avengers by performing the false-flag operations outside Krakoaland like attacking Captain America and bombing other places. Xavier, being a broken mutant man, cries that he "killed" them (mutants) and declares that Krakoa should be avenged.

After WandaVision theories back to some Empyre theories
So time to put down as a collective post all my theoris related to the ending of Empyre and the "who is going to betray Teddy?" question. Again these are mainly for my own fun and brainstorming and to keep track of what are my bets.
Tommy: this ain’t my favourite theory because I would hate to see Tommy and Teddy (and Billy too) to fall out. However he is in the last supper picture, he is pretty close with Teddy and Teddy would trust him. Additionally, it would not be too out of character for Tommy as it would be for Billy. We have to remember that Tommy didn’t grow up in a loving family so it would make sense that he could end up betraying Teddy (intentionally or unintentionally) because he wants to be part of a family of some sort. Could be for Wanda or maybe Tommy wants to become part of the Mutant family? So it would make sense that instead of choosing Teddy and Billy who have strong sense of family and unity even with just the two of them and additionally Billy does have his parents and brothers. Tommy has Billy but not nearly in the same way as Billy has his biological family. Tommy has Wanda but not as strong bond as Billy would have with his parents right? So could make sense that to achieve something similar Tommy might do something that goes against Teddy and Billy. How he would betray Teddy in practice I haven’t figured out yet. However, it is still unclear how powerful Tommy actually is so it would be interesting to see something that would unravel that a bit.
David: in my eyes David is close enough with Teddy so that Teddy would trust him. Yes David himself doesn’t have that strong powers but he has contacts and he has a lot of knowledge. Like bet with all the information he has paired even an average power holder lot could go down. With this the motives could have something to do with the mutants and Krakoa (?). David is also in the supper picture if we want to stick to that as the biggest clue.
Avengers: so this one is maybe my favourite. In the Fall Out -issue it was revealed that the Cotati must have had some powerful ally to get the weapons right? This has made many to point out that indeed Billy would have that power and that would support the Billy betraying Teddy theory. My take on this is that if it’s not Billy betraying Teddy the avengers and others could easily make this connection though and accuse Billy for helping the Cotati. Naturally Teddy would stand up for Billy and all hell breaks loose when his Empyre goes to defend their Prince Consort. Avengers going into a fight against them would surely set up A.I.M and New Avengers and whoever they’ve usually trusted go against them as well. We have to remember that Avengers and X-Men especially have been wary of Billy’s powers in the past and now he is even stronger and more focused (as Carol pointed out in Empyre) so he is even more of a threat than before. For Avengers being behind everything would be supported also by the supper pic as T’Challa is clear in the background and there are a bunch of New Avengers/A.I.M members in the picture.
Something happens to Billy: ok with this one I got no clear how everything starts and who would be the main “bad guy” but the theory is as follows. Something happens to Billy and Teddy goes and asks for Avengers and other heroes for help. However, as stated above they have grown worried of Billy’s powers and/or might see the mission in hand too risky and won’t help Teddy. Thus it is like a betrayal to Teddy for whom Billy is his family and his everything (as he put it in Emperor Hulkling).
GOTG : Ok I wrote a separate post about this earlier, you can find it from here.
Ok so those are my current who could it be theories. Going to make a post later about why it (sadly) could be Billy, so what hints point towards him, including why not and what would be plausible explanations for him being absent in the Empyre cliffhanger. Feel free to add your own theories if you like.

New Mutants (2019) #1 is out and I was super psyched by a cameo in it from BEVATRON OF THE HELLIONS! Top pic right there, the blond guy? That’s the Hellions uniform, and I’m pretty sure the guy in it is Bevatron! You guys, I am SO PSYCHED, I have been waiting a LONG TIME for a Hellions revival and was hoping desperately they’d turn up in Krakoa---and I got my wish! If he’s there, the rest surely are too, and that makes me so happy!! I’m also happy that Mondo is getting a role (big guy in themiddle pic), he’s a minor Generation X character that I’m fond of. Also I’m a little confused why the M-twins are in individual tiny Penance forms (bottom pic) and why M is wearing her old Gen-X uniform, but hey, I’m happy to see them too, and they seem to having a good time driving their sister crazy! AND DID I MENTION THE HELLIONS ARE BACK?! Even if it’s just a tiny cameo and they don’t turn up in the story again, I’m so super happy!!
