so, the gravy basket beach scenes in ofmd 2.03 have always reminded me of the piano -- the mood is just sooo similar! -- but i realized watching the ep for the nine zillionth time last night that surely the ending gravy basket scene with ed must also be a reference to the end of the piano, with ed having a rope tied to him and being pulled under the water, just like ada being tied to the piano and nearly drowning before deciding to live!!!

this post doesn't have a point; i was just amazed that it took me that long to realize that connection. oh, my brain!

Do you ever feel like you will continue on without recognition? Like you do something, post it and then nothing happens because reasons. And then you mop around trying to understand what`s wrong and then your other art that took like 2 seconds, or better yet, your sketch collects a bunch of likes. And then it`s radiosilence again. i have finally got my situation set up where i am satisfied with the audio quality, lighting, etc and i am ready to start streaming regularly. i'm going to begin at 10:30pm PST tonight (Sept 7) with some improvized ambient/downtempo. and I will also be regularly streaming some morning piano practice at 9:30am PST (Sept 8), starting tomorrow morning with future sessions to be announced soon.
