Regarding the pun, they haven't revealed the name of the baozi shop, but I can take a few wild guesses:

Open all year round is 全年无休 Quan Nian Wu Xiu

权莲无休 Quan Lian Wu Xiu - Ah Quan and Huilian never end. This one combines their name together.

权莲无休 Kyun Lin Mou Yau - The same one as above, but if read in Cantonese, Wu Xiu becomes Mou4 Yau1 which is the same as 无忧 Mou4 Yau1 and it means free from worries. It'll become Ah Quan and Huilian free from worries.

权莲误消 Quan Lian Wu Xiao - The misunderstanding between Ah Quan and Huilian's disappears.

权恋无休 Quan Lian Wu Xiu - Never stop loving Ah Quan.

These are my guesses. If anyone has any other ideas, feel free to let me know, and I'll add them to the post. Or, if they reveal the actual name next week, I'll edit it with the new explanation.

Edit: They haven't revealed it in the show, but AHA Entertainment posted a video on their Wechat with '权莲无休' 'Quan Lian Wu Xiu' in the caption.

I think constantly about Pudding and Sanji being obviously parallels of each other and how fucked up it is that Pudding had to live the life Sanji managed to escape but she constantly gets hate online as if she hadn't been literally manipulated by her mother through the whole fucking arc. But okay. Yes. God forbid women have any sort of trauma response and if they do they're not allowed to have a redemption arc because of course they're extremely evil for making your silly baby boy cry and they don't have a heart even though it's explicitly shown in screen that they do and they regret their past actions.

Timezones in One Piece World

I am back with a physics post! Well, more meteorology/geography post!

I was inspired to create a timezone map after reading the newest chapter of Doflamingo's Marine by @moonbaby26 where a timezone difference was mentioned, which was a great detail! I remember thinking about timezones in OP world but never got around to it but I did now. So it made me wonder just what timezone is Dressrosa (my fav island 🤗) in, what timezone are the other islands in?

I pulled a grid of irl timezones, simplified it, and put it over the One Piece World Map! (You can see some parts where I was like, no keep it simple, simplify it).

HERE IT IS!

UTC is coordinated universal time, aka time in the center of the world. Anyway, here are the islands + locations and I'll put some ANs for some cus some are interesting.

I find it PERFECT the exit from Reverse Mountain into Grand Line are the ones in the center of the One Piece World, not the Red Line Itself.

Uf, I think that's all the big locations. I recommend using just the UTC and then you go minus or plus just so you don't have to go converting everything. The One Piece world most likely just says "Universal Time + (number)" or sth.

So, for example, if it's 17:00 (5 pm) in Marineford (UTC +9) on a Monday, it will then be 1 am on Monday in Dressrosa.

17 - 9 (to get UTC 0) = 8 am Monday (UTC 0)

Then another -7 hours, you get Monday 1 am (UTC -7) in Dressrosa. So Dressrosa is 16 HOURS behind Original Marineford.

Interesting how Doflamingo settled in Dressrosa, which is the entire 22 hours behind Holy Land by time, symbolising how his family abandoned the privileges of Celestial Dragons. Nice.

Also, for the Blues, regarding seasons:

North Blue & East Blue = North Hemisphere such as Europe & U.S. (winter months - December, January, February)

West Blue & South Blue - South Hemisphere (like Australia & New Zealand) so the winter months are June, July, August.

The seasons are interchangable in the Grand Line depending on the islands!

We keep comparing Luffy to Bugs Bunny but he also embodies another entity that defies order

Gear 5 is basically Luffy throwing all the rules of logic and laws of physics out the window, which is EXACTLY what cartoons do, but you know who else rejects the laws of reality? Eldritch abominations. Lovecraftian horrors. Many times, we are told that Strawhat Luffy will destroy the world or ruin the order of things, which is bad (as long as you're not a slave, oppressed, or disenfranchised). We have seen him upend nations before, but the state of those countries made the hard reset Luffy brings a godsend (see what I did there). To the world government, Luffy is basically Cthulhu, someone they thought long-dead but was actually just sleeping and now he's awake and spreading chaos through the world.

Old msm comfort oc I made a year ago named Remy or "The weeping Rabbit"

They are genderless, and they seem to really like the G'joob species a lot.

And lastly, another msm oc I created months ago but never had a chance to make an actual drawing out of him. His name is Odoben, and he was born with his horns, bassoon tusks, and even his own teeth and the spikes on his tail to be deformed, or look differently. He couldn't play music from his tusks, and was constantly made fun of for this. One day when Odoben was sitting alone under some Halleberries, a Bowgart saw him, and after he realized that Odoben couldn't produce any music, he offered him to use his cello for a bit. After that experience, Odoben had been inspired since to use the cello to create music. Many monsters had been against this, often trying to ruin his concerts and/or music auditions, but Odoben didn't care, nor did he give up. Now he was considered one of the best cello musicians on Plant Island ❤️

•Odoben enjoys spending his free time wandering in the forest to use his cello to play music to the forest and the creatures in it.

•Odoben has been a really big comfort oc to me for a really long time, and he still is ❤️
