The video paused abruptly, and a young woman commented. "If there's a quote that fits this scenario, it's 'play stupid games, win stupid prizes.'" Next to Phil Altiere, the manager of the Hinobi store in Bailey and director of the Bailey branch of Glitch Techs, stood a young woman. Her preppy-style outfit consisted of a violet shirt under a magenta and bubblegum pink coat. She completed the look with a powder pink and black plaid skirt. And despite her appearance, she is a famous gamer with the gamer tag 'Li-O-ness', also known as Kanako Ryuuzaki.

Next to her stands her work partner, whose style is the complete opposite of hers. Kanako raised her hand and surveyed the crowd. "Who here is a Star Trek fan?" She was quickly taken aback by the sudden surge of raised hands. This prompted a brief smile to pass between her and her fellow Trekkie fans. "Well, fellow Trekkies, think of the glitch as the Borg..." Again, they were greeted by numerous gasps. Pulling her left arm up armed her gauntlet. She began to swipe as well, showing numerous videos of several past Glitch Techs that fought it and ultimately failed. "Through the assimilation of various technologies, the glitch gains the ability to adapt. It can nullify almost any attack and return an attack with ten times the force of the original within minutes. This glitch is what earned them the name, the Borg glitch." With her arms crossed, Noburu faced the group. "In cooperation with Hinobi Osaka of Japan and Hinobi's Bailey branch of the US, we hope we can all cooperate in destroying this virus." Noburu continued despite receiving a confused look and whispers. "Yes, you heard me loud and clear. We will destroy this mother-" She paused when Kanako quickly nudged her, preventing her from cursing. "...virus." As the Lioness continued the explanation. "The headquarters fears that the virus can no longer be contained, as it has already gained too much information through its gaming spree. According to their statistical analysis, if this glitch is not eliminated, they fear that it will soon begin adapting to sentient beings, such as people or anything with brainwave function."
