Peter Lorre Casablanca Doll

Following on from yesterday's post, I also came across this Peter Lorre doll a la Casablanca:

1990s Australia Bonza Creations Dolls: Casablanca Film Star Peter Lorre. Bonza Creations were made by an artist known as G.M.B. This doll is missing his left thumb which can be easily repaired with clay. He is 9.75" tall. Source

As far as likenesses go, this one makes him look more like a vintage businessman ("Your Friendly Accountant Ugarte"), including his face, but you could at least dress him up in different outfits 'n' stuff :D

Anyway everyone’s favourite husbandfailure killer duo. I really liked the little puppet versions that are on the Criterion DVD cover, but I’m easy to please its purple after all. I did want to see them move tho. I’d like to make them into actual paper doll puppets one day I just don’t know where you can get the pins for the joints anymore. I don’t see those sold anywhere around here…
