2. What was your initial reaction to them getting together?

Tears of joy + stayed up late drawing out of excitement, cuz I've been rooting for them since the Robin(2021) # 7 issue.

4. How do you think their first date would go?

They catch up with each other 's life while having a meal and doodling on Damian's sketchbook at his favorite Arab restaurant.

5. What’s your headcanon for Nika regarding Damian?

She likes to listen to Damian talking about his original story and ideas, and his plans to present them with different forms of media( art, acting, music ).

Nika thinks Damian's an interesting and straightforward person and likes his pride in himself in the first introduction he has on Lazarus Island. Think he's an honorable and fairly challenging fighter. Plus the mystery ghost(Alfred) that keeps appearing around him intrigues her. After stealing back his manga from XXL and giving it a good read, she wanted to know more and more about him.

6. What’s your headcanon for Damian regarding Nika?

He likes to text Nika from time to time, and when he doesn't know what to say he sends pictures of his pets to her, Nika sends back pictures of her own pets(cat, insects, reptiles) and the activity she is doing or the sunset view that is outside of her room window.

Damian is angry with Nika at first but realizes that he can only blame himself for being impatient to learn the Death Tournament's rules, thus letting her get the upper hand. Damian thinks Nika is a quick wit, bold and resilient person. He admired her fighting skills from afar and was secretly pleased that she kept seeking him to talk and be friendly with him, and still kept a respectful personal space for him.

7. If you could publish a daminika mini, what would it be about?

daminika sketchbook tour (about their daily life inspirations, choice of art styles, their views on people who are around them), and they have doodles/comments cameo on each other's pages occasionally.

8. What do you think Bruce & Taila's reaction would be to Damian & Nika being official?

Bruce is wary about Nika but can’t say much to Damian because of his own dating/lovers history, later on, realizes what Damian has seen in her.

Talia tells Damian a few times how she is unimpressed by Nika, but Damian doesn’t hear a word from her after he introduces Nika to her in person.

9. What’s a trope that you think fits daminika?

Sent to kill each other (secret mission) but fell in love unintentionally when they met and learned more about one another.

10. How do you think their relationship would be like?

It’s both their first ever relationships, so they are cautious and consider each other’s feelings a lot. Damian is serious about it and mentally initiated. Nika is much more relaxed and physically initiated.

BMFBMLBME Chapter 18

Damain was being escorted through the narrow hallways to his mother.

They had apparently heard his demands to meet with her and he had been granted and audience two days later.

His skin was crawling.

It was bad enough leaving Marinette alone in their room when she was perfectly healthy and able to do anything without risk of hurting herself. Leaving her alone when she was ill made him want to hurl.

Damian picked up the pace, wanting to get back to her sooner.

Large doors loomed before him, opening up painfully slowly for him.

It was a struggle not to force himself through before they were fully open.

Damain marched through the second he could, walking up to his mother who met him with a smile.

“Damian! I heard you wanted to see me dear?” She said, walking over to him to plant kisses to each of his cheeks.

“I, yes Moth-Mom.” He corrected himself, wanting to stay on her good side. “I need your help, Mom.”

Talia smiled at him, walking them over to the couch to sit down.

“What do you need? How can I help you?” She asked sweetly, gently rubbing the backs of his hands with her thumbs.

“M-My wife,” Damian was kicking himself; he had almost said her name. Her actual name, not her fake one.

In his panic, Damian failed to notice how Talia had stopped smiling.

“My wife is sick, and I don’t- I don’t have any supplies or medicine or anything to help her. Please help me.” He begged, pleading for her assistance.

Taila stared at him, not blinking, not moving, Damian wasn’t even sure she was breathing at this point.

“No.” She finally answered.

Damian blinked, staring at her as his heart started to sink.

“No?”

“No.” She said pleasantly.

“What? I- why not? Why won’t you help us?!” He shouted, shooting up from the chair.

Talia smiled shaking her head softly.

“Why on earth would I help her? I would do anything for you dear, you know that, but I won’t be helping her. She lied to me, lied to us. She’s not Kagami dear, she’s been lying to us this entire time.”

Damian’s blood turned to ice in his veins his heartbeat filled his ears and he couldn’t breathe.

She knew.

Damian swallowed, turning towards the door and beginning to walk away.

He had to get to her.

Talia knew, and she wasn’t happy about it.

He needed to get to Marinette before anyone tried to hurt her.

He couldn’t let them hurt her.

“Damian!” Talia shouted, grabbing him by the arm.

“I know you are fond of the girl but she was not meant to be your intended. She’s a fake. This is for the best, son. She deceived us, she deceived you.” Talia told him, imploring him to understand.

“She didn’t deceive me.” He whispered, frozen in place.

“… What?” Talia growled.

“I’ve known who she was from the beginning. She never lied to me, I- I told her not to say anything. I didn’t want her to get hurt-”

Talia scoffed, tossing his arm to the side.

“So you deceived me as well! You kept up the charade, call her by a false name-”

“No! No I, I never called her Kagami. We purposefully never said her name, just pet names. We weren’t trying to lie to you!” Damian pleaded.

Talia rolled her eyes turning away from him.

“I should have her killed. I will have her killed; you deserve a better bride than a liar.” Talia said distastefully.

Tears rushed to Damian’s eyes, panic filled his lungs, and fear solidified his feet to the ground.

She couldn’t. She couldn’t take Marinette away from him. He couldn’t do this without her.

He wouldn’t survive.

“No, NO! NO MOM PLEASE!” Damian screamed; his feet unglued themselves as he rushed forward.

He wrapped his arms around her waist trying to hold her in place.

All of a sudden, Damian was a 10 again. Begging his mother not to leave him in a house full of strangers. He clung to her desperately, tears falling freely from his eyes as he collapsed to his knees.

Talia stopped, staring at him as he clung to her skirt.

“Please, please no. I, she, you can’t take her from me. You brought her into my life, please please don’t take her away. She’s- she’s so smart, and creative, and she’s kind and gentle and fierce and I will never meet anyone like her again so you can’t-” Damian cut off with an ugly sob.

Tears blurred his vision, making him unable to tell what facial expression she was making.

He wanted to keep going, to keep convincing her of what an amazing person Marinette was, but he couldn’t.

Cold fear clogged his throat, he could barely manage to keep up his whispered begs of please with how distraught he was.

He slouched down, burying his face in his mother’s skirt as he sobbed.

He was trembling, his entire body shaking from the thought of his mother taking Marinette away from him.

Talia started to move, Damian wasn’t sure where she was going but he couldn’t allow it.

He moved quickly, wrapping his arms around his mother’s legs so she couldn’t walk away from him.

Talia reached down, her hand gently resting on one of Damain’s trembling shoulders.

She leaned over him, doing her best to hug him despite to awkward position.

Damian slowly relaxed his hold on her, just enough to let her squat down and kneel beside him on the floor.

“Oh, my poor boy, you love her… Don’t you?” Talia whispered, gently rubbing her hand up and down Damian’s back.

Damian nodded, trying and failing to get himself under control.

Talia tutted before sighing heavily and squeezing Damian slightly closer to her.

“I loved your father, so desperately, so earnestly.” She told him. “I remember when your grandfather separated us, oh how I felt my heart shatter. It was the most painful thing I had ever experienced.”

Talia cupped Damian’s face in her hands, pulling him forward to plant a kiss on his forehead.

“I could never let you go through that pain, my poor baby.” She whispered cradling Damian in her arms.

Damian’s breath hitched, hope filling his lungs as he listened to her.

“I won’t separate you, I couldn’t bear to put you through that pain.”

Damian looked up, prepared to thank her when her next words froze him.

“But I won’t be calling for a doctor. She has angered me, Damian. She must be punished.” She told him, explaining it simply, as if he were still a small child.

And given his current state, it was probably for the best she was treating him that way. Even with her dumbing it down for him, he still couldn’t understand.

“…What?” He asked weakly.

“She needs to be punished, Damian. For lying to me, she’ll just have to get through this cold on her own, without the comforts of medication.” She explained cupping his cheeks.

“It’s not just a cold-!”

“Damian.” Talia said sharply, cutting him off. “Don’t push me any further today. I’m sure she can get through her little cold on her own, now go back to your room.” She said dismissing him.

Two guards came up from behind him, pulling his to his feet and away from his mother.

He wanted to protest, to fight back and force his mother to call for a doctor.

But he knew he was already lucky. It was nothing short of a miracle that she had changed her mind once already.

There was no hope in convincing her today, he would just have to try again.

Damian moved through the halls numbly, letting himself be pulled along until they reached the door.

True to habit, they shoved Damian in the room.

True to habit, Damian barely caught himself before he face planted.

It was the same rhyme and dance every time he left the room but with one major difference.

Marinette hadn’t been standing there, waiting to try and catch him.

She was lying on the bed, still asleep as her chest rose and fell with labored breaths.

Damian walked closer, noticing that she had stolen some of his clothes to wear while he had been gone.

She must have thrown up again. Must not have made it to the bathroom in time.

Damian hated the fact that he wasn’t there for her.

He crawled up on the bed beside her, pulling her hand to his lips as he closed his eyes.

“It’s not over, I’ll keep trying. I promise.” He swore, pressing a kiss to the backs of her knuckles before laying down.

He curled himself around her, trying to keep her safe from monsters that he wasn’t even sure existed.

He had to keep her safe.

He had to.

Here we see the Danceverse Crew's house, where we see the Danceverse Crew doing their usual things. Wanderlust practicing his dimension jumping powers, Sara petting Discoball, Brezziana making a video for her millions of fans, Mihaly meditating, Jack practing his moves, Dolores trying to come up with a plan to stop Night Swan, which is hard to do when you have Hadley being vein, and checking himself in the mirror. Taila polishing her Neverending cache of weapons, Epsilon researching some top tier security for the house, Liv baking her signature Spooky Cookies, and Blake listening to hard rock. All and all, an normal day for the Danceverse Crew. That is they've saw somebody burst through the door.

"YO! YO! YO! YO!" They've heard a familiar voice come through the door, they've turned around and saw Rubika standing there.

"Rubika!" They've all yelled "What brings you here?" Wanderlust asked

"Well, ya see. I'm working at the beach, and they're having a deal that family and close friends of coworkers get in for free. And, since Rosaria and Eteria don't wanna go, I thought about inviting you guys." She answered.

"Yeah, why wouldn't we?" Sara said

"Uh, guys." Blake started to say "Should we really consider Rubika a friend?" He asked

"I know, Blake. She stole our ship one time." Wanderlust said "But, she has helped us out on many of our adventures. Why wouldn't we consider her a friend?"

"So what y'all say? Y'all willing to go?" Rubika asked

"YEAH!" The crew answered

"Oh, yeah one more thing. Weapons are prohibited on the beach. So, you guys are gonna have to leave them here." Rubika said. And, all of them (Except for Wanderlust & Mihaly) dropped their weapons, which for Taila, took about 3 minutes. She took the guns out of both of her pockets. And, took the knifes and switchblades out of both her shoes.

"How do you walk around all day?" Jack asked her.

"No matter, Jack. Let's get our beach outfits on and head out!" Wanderlust said as they got their beach outfits on and headed out.

2 hours later

They arrived at the beach, and got everything set down. And, everyone else went into the water.

Wanderlust was manipulating the water and Sara accidently got caught in it. Wanderlust stopped as Sara fell in the water. "Sorry!" Wanderlust apologized "It's okay!" Sara replied.

Jack and Hadley were both surfing, competing to see who can get the closest. "You should never try a musician! They always have secret talents!" Jack taunted Hadley. "Yeah? So do people who've surfed for 13 years! Gehehehe!!" Hadley taunted back.

Dolores was building sandcastles with Taila and Epsilon. "Hey, you guys done yet?" Dolores asked them. "Yeah, almost." Taila replied. "Done!" Taila said, as Dolores looked up, she was in shock with how massive their sandcastle is. "I said sandcastle!" Dolores shouted. "Is this not a castle?" Epsilon asked. "No! That's a palace!" Dolores replied loudly

Liv was playing in the water, while Blake was just laying in the water. Liv was grabbing his arm, trying to pull him up. "Come on, Blake! Get up and enjoy the water!" Liv said. "No! Let the waters claim me!" Blake replied

All and all, everyone was having fun. Except for Mihaly, who was just sitting there, looking up at the sunset. Brezziana noticed this and sat down beside them.

"Is something wrong?" Brezziana asked them

"It's nothing." Mihaly said "I was just thinking back."

"Thinking back to what?"

"Thinking back to when I didn't worry about hurting the people I love." Brezziana sat there and listened to them "Back when Midnight Owl wasn't apart of me, back when we didn't hurt eachother." They then started to tear up "Back when....Back when I didn't have to worry about any of that happening." They've said. As, Brezziana hugged them

"It's okay, Mi. Those situations were far beyond your control. I wish I didn't have to hurt you either, but, you were Brainwashed. I didn't have a choice. But, understand this." She moved closer to them "I love you. You are an amazing person. I couldn't asked for somebody with as kind of an heart as you. I'm glad to be here with you, and not that other faker that you got." She told them.

They've both shared a passionate kiss as the sunset glares behind them.

"You wanna just sit here and admire the scenery?" Mihaly asked

"I wouldn't love nothing more." Brezziana answered.

They both sat there with Mihaly laying their head on Brezziana's shoulder, just staring at the sunset

"I'm glad to have a girlfriend as amazing as you." They've said

Brezziana smiled at that compliment and said

"I feel the same"

Kady did not know what a necromancer could do for her and started to do research on Ronan and the Cleirigh family. She was impressed and even more so when Ronan offered her free liberty of his family’s library. Kady was able to master her powers and craft faster than she expected with Ronan and the Cleirigh gang helping her along the way. Kady wanted to accept Ronan’s offer to take his name but instead she started to search for people who shared her mark with his support.

Sada Warren (Mentee): Simon and Sada are Kady’s first mentees. Ronan had been pushing for Kady to become a curse mentor since she was the only curse master in Chicago at the moment. The Council had approved and Kady had two new mentees. Sada and Kady have a regular teacher and student relationship. They are not as close as she is with Simon but Sada is still an excellent student.

Simon Lee Weyden (Mentee): Simon and Sada are Kady’s first mentees. Simon is supposed to be mentoring under Ronan but Ronan had sent Simon to Kady. Simon is more interested in curses than her powers. Simon already knows he wants to master the craft at the age of 78 which had Kady excited and already accepting him as her mentee without any further details. She did not find out about his powers until later but Kady did not care that Simon was a tantric manipulator. Kady actually had a lot of questions and wanted to learn more about him. They have been teaching each other these past few years and Kady considers him a good friend, not just a mentee. Simon has tried to drag her Underground but vampires and human shifters is where Kady draws the line on her knowledge.

Sydney ‘Sid’ Velanica (Friend): Sid is Sada’s boyfriend and he is always around. At first Kady thought he was going to be a distraction but he has been nothing but a big help. Kady believes that they can be friends without Sada being their buffer.

Garrett Cleirigh (Friend): Garrett is Ronan’s little brother and was always around while Kady was training. He had offered himself up as a test dump disintegrator for Kady to practice throwing curses and battling since Garrett is unaffected by physically created magic. They grew close together over the years. Kady has taken it upon herself to teach him the basics technologies, social media and about Starbucks. Garrett is doing well but she is also regretting he becoming a tech fiend.

Talia Cleirigh (Friend): Kady and Talia mentored together under Ronan. Kady was surprisingly the first person to give Taila free reign of their mind. Talia seemed like a sweet girl and the entire Cleirigh clan seemed hellbent on helping each other out. For the last decade, Kady has been pushing Talia to tell her more about other universes and the knowledge they contain. This has added some stress to their friendship since Talia refuses to tell her anything. Kady is trying not to take it to heart or lose a friend over something small but has never asked Talia anything in return for helping her while they were still mentees together.

Audo Wilhelm (Friend): Kady and Audo immediately clicked when he was first brought into Ronan’s mentees. They were trained together, practicing ways their powers could compliment each other and spent some down time practicing basic shields together as a recommendation from Ronan. They have developed a unique connection with their magic. Audo has been trying to trigger visions to help Kady in her quest to gain entry into the book of Marks.

Nathan Cleirigh (Friend): Kady once thought she was in love with Nathan. There was something about him that kept calling her toward him and it scared her. It was not until recently while reading one of her old journals did the reason why hit her. Nathan and possibly the other Cleirighs were in town once when Killian, Rinoa and Kady visited when she was young. She remembered going home and writing about the handsome men that visited their town for provisions. Nathan had talked to Killian and made her father laugh in a way that was only reserved for her. She has yet to share this with anyone but is thinking about bringing it up to Audo.

Hostile Connections:

Catherine Barr (Annoyance): Cat and Kady have never been friends. Kady found it odd when Cat started asking her question and favors that went against the local Council. Having mentored under a Council member and Cat being the mentee of a Council member has had Kady running in the opposite direction.

Drabble! Implied Bruce/reader. Mentions of rape and date rape.

Talia is cast as the villain in this, and fans of Talia will not like this version of her. You’ve been warned.

The vent gave way under you, and you fell into the room.

It wasn't much of a drop, fortunately. You'd probably collected a few bruises, but nothign more.

"Have you made it inside?" Bruce's voice came over the coms. He was still trapped outside, and it'd be at least ten minutes before he could join you.

"Yeah, I'm here." You replied, glancing around. There was Talia Al Ghul, trapped inside the machine in the far corner.

"You have to get her out of there." Bruce was trying to remain calm, but there was fear in his voice. He loved you, of that you had no doubt. But there was too much history between him and Talia for him to let her die.

You strolled over to the console controlling the machine trapping Talia. There was a timer on it; she had 65 seconds left before the machine activated and she would die. It was a complex machine, but a large button in one corner was clearly labeled 'abort'. Not hard to figure out. You rested your hands on the edge of the console, leaning on it, and looked up at the machine.

"Hello, Talia." You greeted her, your voice eerily calm. Dangerously calm.

"Y/n," Bruce's voice came over the com. "Don't. Just let Taila-" you lifted a hand to switch off your coms. You didn't need Bruce arguing with you about this.

"We have no time for games," Taila spat at you. Despite the situation, her voice was still filled with disdain. Fifty five seconds left. "Taunt me if you must, but release me."

"October 27, 2014." You told her, your face an expressionless mask.

"What?!" Taila demanded impatiently. "I have no time for this. Release me!"

"October 27, 2014." You repeated patiently. Fifty seconds. "Do you remember it?" Talia rolled her eyes, but stopped and searched her memory.

"That was... the night I was in Gotham, I believe... ah. The night I saw Bruce." A smug smirk curled the corners of her lips, and she glared predatorily at you. "The night we-"

"The night you raped him." You interrupted, the cold rage burning in your gaze unchanged by her mood.

"Oh, please." Talia rolled her eyes again. "We-"

"You put a date rape drug in his drink without his knowledge." You interrupted her again. "Then you took advantage of his weakened state to have sex with him. His consent was not asked for, nor would he have been able to give it while under the influence of a date rape drug."

"What is this, jealousy? That I was able to... tempt him away from you? It is hardly your fault." Taila railed at you patronizingly. "I am his equal. You are merely his pet."

"You raped him." You repeated. Taila tried to smirk back, but there was a calm rage in your eyes that was clearly unnerving her.

"Very well." Taila replied after a moment. She was nervous now, licking her lips and glancing at the countdown. Thirty seconds. "You have made your point. I will not do it again. No more drugging, no more romantic gestures at Bruce. You have my word."

You didn't move. Just watched, holding her eyes as the timer ticked down.

"Release me!!!" Taila yelled. "Please, I give you my word, I won't go near Bruce again!!"

"I know you won't." You replied, deathly calm and not moving an inch. Twenty seconds.

"Please, I'm begging you!" Talia cried, afraid now. "If... if you kill me, he will never forgive you! Bruce will never forgive you if you murder someone!"

That gave you pause. Fifteen seconds. You considered for a moment.

She was correct, sadly. Bruce would be furious and hurt. You sighed to yourself. The last thing you ever wanted was to hurt him more.

Your eyes hovered over the abort button, and Taila didn't dare speak as you considered your options. Five seconds.

You finally hit the abort button when there was one second left on the timer, prolonging Talia's fear until the very last moment. Taila made an audible noise of relief, falling to the ground and gulping air in relief.

She'd nearly forgotten about your presence, until you grabbed her shirt collar, picking her up and slamming her against the wall.

"Let's get one thing clear." You told her evenly. "I stopped for one reason, and one reason only; because Bruce would never forgive me. If you ever come near him again, next time, I won't stop. Do we understand each other?"

Episode 25: A Timely Christmas Tail

As much as I love gadgets and thingamabobs and stuff from the Sharper Image that will break after a few weeks of use, I have come to appreciate more thoughtful gifts that may only have value to the person who receives them. And not just because they are more affordable. It really is the thought that counts.

Only when you’re older, though!

If you get a child a thoughtful gift instead of that cool robot toy with lasers and Kung Fu grip you are just mean and should be permanently placed on Santa’s naughty list. Kid’s need robots, okay?

Sorry, a little Christmas rant there.

I love Otis just the way he is. But I do sometimes get nostalgic for when he was a tiny potato. I’m glad he is grown up and doesn’t poop inside or have razor sharp puppy teeth that can split atoms. But I wish I could just turn him back into a puppy for a short time.

His paws were enormous compared to the rest of him. His ears were all floppy. And he was very, very serious. His inner goofball took a while to manifest. As a puppy he was all business all the time.

“Would you like to buy some insurance?”

Otis was a great puppy. And he is a great full grown loaf. Having him around on Christmas always makes it special.

I’m sure Chris feels the same way about Nibbles.

Look at how big those ears were! (Nibbles not Chris.)

It is my wish for all of you to have a thoughtful Christmas. I hope you get to snuggle family or friends or animals or significant others.

And by animals I mean pets. Please don’t try to snuggle a random coyote in your backyard.

And if Christmas isn’t your thing, I hope you just have a really nice day with minimal traffic and some tasty Chinese food.

As we embarked on our adventure, riding on Boogly's back, I couldn't help but be amazed by the vibrant world of Mixels unfolding before us. The beauty of this place was truly mesmerizing.

Boogly, our somewhat snobbish yet endearing leader, occasionally referred to himself in the third person, much to my amusement. "Boogly knows the way, young ones," he declared with a touch of pretentiousness. I couldn't help but chuckle at his antics, knowing that deep down, he cared for us and wanted to make this journey special.

Nurp, with his innocent and playful spirit, laughed gleefully as he clung to Boogly's back. "Nurp is having so much fun, hehehe!" he chimed in, his infectious giggles filling the air and adding a sense of childlike wonder to our adventure.

Pet, the epitome of charm and elegance, gazed around with her large, sparkling eye. "Oh, this world is simply enchanting," she said in her sweet, gentle voice. "Pet is savoring every moment of this beauty."

Lilac, the youngest and most spirited among us, flapped her dainty wings in excitement. "Look at those colorful butterflies, Boone!" she exclaimed, her voice brimming with pure delight. "Lilac wants to catch them all!"

Boone, my fearless and adventurous friend, smiled proudly at his little sister's enthusiasm. "Boone couldn't be prouder of his family," he declared, his voice radiating warmth and affection. "We're going to have the most amazing adventure together."

As we continued our journey through the wondrous world of Mixels, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the unique personalities and the bonds we shared. Each of us brought something special to our group, making our adventure not only thrilling but also filled with love and laughter. With Boogly leading the way, I had no doubt that our journey would be an unforgettable one.

Earth 33: Outlaws - Jason Todd

Earth 33 is my attempt at rewriting the dc universe. I’m doing this entirely for my own entertainment and as such will be writing what appeals to me. I’m starting this au off with the members of the outlaws, almost all of whom never canonly have been members.

So without farther ado, here’s Jason (This is a long one)

(TW: Death, Drugs, Overdosing, Crime, Vague Allusions to Rape)

Jason Peter Todd was born to Willis and Catherine Todd in a backstreet in Crime Alley. His father a small time crook and his mother drug addicted and unable to take care of him, he was basically left alone emotionally other than the few times Willis made time for his little prince of Gotham. Such as when he pickpocketed two tickets for a flying grayson show.

Willis got arrested on charges of drug use, theft, and grand theft auto. Reportedly he died in a prison riot started by some of Harvey Dents goons. Jason was 8 when this happened and it affected him greatly, he locked himself in his room in the Todd familys beat up tiny apartment for three days till he realized his mother hadn’t gone shopping or even begun to try and hustle any money for bills. He knew then that he’d be taking care of his mother till the day she overdosed like how the neighbors kept saying she would. Pick pocketing and theft became his new way of life but it was beyond stressful for a child of his age, and he was beat up several times by both gang members and police officers who caught him stealing.

He was 10 when his mother died from an overdose, it had been a long day and he was just happy to be able to bring some noodles and dollar store tomato paste home. But as he entered his home of ten years it smelled like how the alleys he always rushed through instead of walking smelled. He set the bags down at the door and rushed to the source of the scent. He got into the cramped kitchen and found his mother, dead. He went into his room and with a vacant expression on his face packed anything he had of value, he knew he couldn’t call 911, the phone service to the house had been cut three months ago, and besides there was no money to give his poor mother a proper burial.

He lived on the streets for the next two years and those two years taught him the way of the street, the distrust, the scrappy fighting that came when you hadn’t ate in three days, the value of a warm meal. Late one night he saw a chance that didn’t come by everyday, the batmobile, unguarded in an alleyway. He could only imagine how much the tires on it would fetch, so yeah he tried to jack the tires off the batmoblie. He was caught by Batman, who took him to get some food and talked with him. He was dropped off at a Wayne funded shelter.

And the next morning something bizarre happened, the people at the shelter let Jason know that there was someone interested in taking him in. He was hesitant at first but agreed to meet this person. A little later Bruce Wayne came in and chatted with Jason who was at first dismissive of the man but warmed up during the conversation, especially when Bruce shared about how he lost his parents when he was around 10. Jason agreed to try out living with him.

He liked it alot to say the least. He ran around the manor stuffing his face full of junk food almost constantly when he first got there till Alfred stepped in, just for his healths stake as a tumble down the long stairs or getting stick off of eating too much wouldn’t be all that fun for the kid. Jason wanted to stay and so stay he would.

Bruce put graves for Jason’s parents in the Wayne family graveyard next to Dick’s parents. Jason was put at ease by finally being able to put them to rest, including his mom’s body that was tracked down in GCP’s system as a yet to be identified body, his father’s body however had not yet been found.

Something that Bruce hadn't accounted for was the fact that Jason was a troubled sleeper, everything else he was doing perfectly with adjusting too, he was doing amazing at school, his checkup only indicated that they might want to give him some multivitamin gummies. But he just couldn’t get to sleep, he was too nervous too, and when he wasn’t too nervous he was too full of energy and trying to use it up doing something. So it was inevitable that he noticed how often Bruce was out at night and how at times he couldn’t find Alfred anywhere.

So when Bruce and Alfred were busy at some glala that didn’t let children in (Side note to myself, write younger Jason at one of these glalas) Jason poked his nose around the house looking for anything hidden. And while pulling books off the shelf in the study he tripped on the carpet and knocked a bust on the desk over, revealing a button. He did what you do when you find a button and he pressed it revealing a firemen pole, which he went down.

He ran around the cave unattended for an hour and when Bruce and Alfred has finally managed to get back home he had managed to put on one of Dick’s old robin costumes and was trying to figure out how to turn on the batmobile. Bruce sat him down and explained everything, and once he was done Jason asked if he could be Robin, and pointed out all his selling points like that his grades were good, he was good at running, he could throw a punch.

Bruce agreed to let him become Robin after a few months of training. Jason would remember his first night as Robin as one of the best of his life, only second to being adopted. His first night they dealt with a few purse snatchers, a mugging, and the crown of the night was a heist being pulled off by The Riddler at an art museum.

He met his brother Dick he and Bruce went to Bludhaven for a weekend due to Wayne Enterprises related business. The three of them met up for lunch on the Saturday and Jason and Dick got along greatly and poked fun at Bruce throughout the whole meal. On Sunday it turned out a mob had made the billanet plan to kidnap Bruce Wayne and hold him for ransom. Nightwing and Robin teamed up to save him and by the end of the adventure Dick gave Jason his phone number and told him to call whenever he’d like.

He was pretty friendless though, at school he was focused on the work and there wasn’t any sidekicks around his age running around Gotham. So Bruce organized the sidekick equivalent of a playdate with Blue Devils on again off again sidekick Kid Devil, also known as Eddie Bloomberg. The two were only supposed to taking down Polka-Dot Man who was planning a robbery. But when they returned to where Batman and Blue Devil were supposed to be figuring out a case with Zatanna at her hotel all they found were scorch marks and a very confused Zachary Zatara who had been in the hotel dining room before hearing a bunch of yelling and coming to investigate.

The events that followed were both chaotic and too long to list here. But for more details you can read here!

A couple years later he had hit the age of 15 and was overall, happy. He had a brother who loved him and checked in on him, he had a penpal who understood the stress of being a sidekick. But he also had lingering problems, anger over the treatment he got as a child and the treatment he saw others get, an empty feeling left by his parents. And what really brought out these feelings was a man by the name of Felipe Garzonas, someone that represented everything he hated. A person who abused his privilege to take advantage of those less fortunate, and then got off thanks to that privilege. Batman and Robin got him arrested but he got out the same day thanks to diplomatic immunity. And the man’s victim, overcome with terror took her own life. So when Jason was left alone with the man on a balcony it didn’t come as a surprise that he didn’t help when Felipe was falling to his death. Though the question of if he was pushed or slipped would never be answered.

Jason’s mental health took a dip due to what had happened and the fact that Bruce was avoiding him, and he called Dick who was having problems of his own at the time. But agreed to take Jason on a teen titan mission or two while his mind lingered on what had happened in Gotham and wandered to his family. But his mind got taken off that by meeting the titans and helping with one of the many smaller problems they had.

But when he got back he couldn’t get his mind off his past, so in an attempt to bring himself more closure on the topic he started looking for his father’s body. But meanwhile The Joker pieced together that one of his goons, was Robin’s father and so a plan was formed. Jason figured out that his father wasn’t dead but had gotten away the day of the riot and was working for The Joker who was planning something off in the alps. And due to the avoidance Bruce was showing to Jason, Jason decided to go out on his own. And we all know how that goes. His body, alongside his father’s was found in the wreckage of the blown up building.

He was laid to rest next to the graves for his parents and finally for the first time in years they were all together. But nothing lasts and Taila Al Ghul, in a bid to have something to use against Bruce in case he found out about Damian prematurely. So she sent one of her other pet projects, Twilight, or better known is Slade Wilson’s missing son Grant Wilson.

When he came out of the Lazarus Pit he was confused and tried to flee and there was some trouble stopping him till Taila tranquilized him. It turned out he had no memory of his life than his own name and the fact he died. He was respective to The League Of Shadows training, he still had the muscle memory from being Robin and was in a mental state that was easy to manipulate. He took to hanging around Grant as he reminded Jason of someone in a couple ways and Grant’s inner big brother came out around Jason.

By years end, Jason had fully integrated with The League and was sent on his first mission. When he had came back from it he had been sobbing but the deed was done. Taila talked with him about what had happened and tried to help him desensitize to the issue, she had grown to care about him and it hurt her to see him like this. After this incident his memories started to return, sparked by the familiar feeling caused by what he had done and the subconscious fear of being ignored again because of it.

He shared what he was remembering with Grant and that only helped to fuel the flame of rage in him. He wasn’t mad that Bruce couldn’t save him, he was angry that Bruce let there be chance the same would happen to another kid by letting The Joker live. He made a plan to try and make Bruce understand and set out on his way. Taila feared for him but did offer the original funds he needed for the plan.

He had his 17th birthday right as he was taking over Gotham’s underground as The Red Hood. It was a quick and hostile take over where he intimidated those he could, and killed those he couldn’t. News of The Red Hood found it’s way to Bruce quickly who was working alone at the time due to Tim being with Young Justice at the time. The drug lords were scared and one even agreed to meet with Batman but before they could give out much information they were shoot sparking a chase through the city where Batman failed to catch Red Hood.

He tracked down The Joker and kidnapped him and while waiting for Batman to arrive did all the things that Joker did to Jason in that warehouse so long ago. When Batman did arrive it became a tense confrontation where Jason revealed himself and demanded to know why the clown still breathed. Bruce answered the way he always did, saying they could not be the judge, jury, and executioner. He ended up forcing Bruce to make a choice, either kill The Joker himself or Jason would do it. Bruce instead threw a batarang at Jason, cutting the side of his neck and then The Joker detonated explosives that had been in the building.

He survived and fled Gotham. He decided to go meet his replacement Tim, he broke into the Young Justice base and kidnapped Robin not wanting to also take on a half kryptonian, speedster, and a demigod. The two fought and Jason mocked his replacement but he wasn’t trying to kill Tim. And when things were looking dicey for Tim, Jason nerve pinched him and left.

He then went off to Bludhaven to bother Dick. Who at the time was dealing with the Court Of Owls and the fact they were stalking him and trying to kidnap him. So when Jason was following him and saw some other shady character was following his brother he started a fight with them. Nightwing very quickly joined the fray between Red Hood and Talon and the two scared them off. Their chat afterwards was awkward to say the least, but weirdly friendly since Jason had just helped Dick and Dick caught on to the fact that Jason had been trained by The League of Shadows.

Dick made an effort to help Jason who he had figured out had been brainwashed during his time with The League of Shadows. And some progress was made. But when they went to Gotham so Jason could try to have a normal-ish conversation with Bruce, it blew up in his face when they had gotten talking about Taila and Jason let it slip that Taila had a son that she said was Bruce’s. Bruce, with no where to direct his feelings on the matter, got cross with Jason for not telling him sooner and the two started arguing. It ended when Jason pulled a gun on Bruce and Dick knocked him out with some sleeping gas.

Jason spent a month in Arkham and was beyond angry, he was angry at Bruce for taking out his complicated emotions on him and he was mad at Dick fortaking Bruces side. He had been admitted under an assumed name as a non criminal resident so he was being kept away from where the violent offenders were. Which was for the best, if he had been anywhere near The Joker it wouldn’t have been pretty. He got out when Tim bribed Arkham to let him out. Jason thanked his younger brother and asked about why he did that and Tim explained that the reason Jason was in there wasn’t fair, and besides he was mad at Bruce as Damian just showed up and stole the Robin name. Jason offered to get Tim a drink but he rejected pointing out the were both underage.

It wasn’t long after that he turned 18. He was headed out of a gas station with the first legal box cigarettes he had ever bought that he got a call from Dick asking him to come to the cave, it was important. So he did, everyone did. And it was a grim affair as Bruce had died. Jason didn’t handle his grief well and left the cave before he could hear the message that was left for him. He left Gotham city as well, both because he needed some space from the situation and because he knew that there was about to be a fight over who would wear the cowl.

He went to LA and met up with an old friend, Eddie Bloomberg who was acting as part time tech support for the Teen Titans. The two had a happy, tearful reunion. Jason, who was crashing on Eddie’s couch for the moment continued his work as Red Hood but it was mellowed out. There was a combination of reasons for this, Dick’s support (even though it had been withdrawn), not wanting Bruce’s ghost judging him, and trying to get in a better mental space and not throw away the chance he had.

After Bruce had came back Jason went back to Gotham, and they hashed things out, by no means were they on the same page, they probably never would be again. But Bruce was willing to offer Jason a place in the batfamily as long as he agreed not to kill anyone, and Jason was willing to agree.

Jason and Stephanie got to know each other pretty well since they were given the chance finally. And they got along greatly. It was a nightmare for Bruce however as he had snark coming left and right. Jason also got to know Cass better and they had a couple things to relate on. And for the first time in three years he was finding happiness in his family life.

But again, nothing lasts for forever. Jason late one night while on patrol noticed someone had broken into the penthouse of a well respected lawyer. And he found Twilight was the intruder and it was no mistake that he caught him. The League wanted him back and weren’t willing to take no for an answer, and Grant felt it was personal. So the ensuing argument was intense and by the end the fight had found it’s way onto the top of Wayne tower where Grant misstepped and fell to his seeming death, and worse batman had seen the end of the fight and given prior events including falling to death and Jason Bruce didn’t trust that it was an accident and banished Jason from the city till things were more clear.

Out on his own yet again he decided to form a team and work on the move, no superhero wants the murdery batfamily member in their city for long. So he got on his bike and he went back to LA.

(When people who don’t read my headcanon and rules page. Like there was this one rp who keeps insisting that Taila and Bruce were not married and she raped him to make Damian. Like can you fuck off?
