Lunar!! Ps au! His design is so pretty now!! Mismatched eyes <3

Lunar is created by Killcode after his escape to infiltrate the daycare, acting as Eclipse’s brother. They play dumb, acting a lot like a kid until the time comes to strike. Sun, Moon, and Earth are of course suspicious of them at first, they came after nowhere after all, but Eclipse is so happy to have a sibling too that he overlooks all the signs and the others slowly let down their guards.

In this au, Lunar’s swap is Ruin! Sounds random I know, but in the original concept of this au it was actually more of a personality shift au. Characters had just vastly different or varied personalities, based and referencing other characters. Lunar’s main switch was the mimic because I wanted to mess around with the mimic’s whole learning thing.

Now that I’ve set the swaps in stone I’ve been more picky about who is included. I also don’t really know anything about tsbs’ mimic so I changed it, but kept a infiltration/imposter vibe by swapping them with Ruin, known for manipulating and playing deceptive roles.

I need to do Monty’s ref but I have no ideas for their vibe TwT their swap is KC and the main personality traits I put down for them are Parental, Calm, and Guide? I cannot imagine Monty with those traits at all so we’ll see what I end up doing

Successful women who built a man

I’m going to astrologically analyze the charts from another video, titled “We don’t build men.” About already successful and established women getting used by a man then dropped once he gets where he want to be. Or they end up in a relationship with someone below their status financially or socially. Which ends in the man resenting her, usually leading to cheating or public shaming.

Women’s chart

In the chart of the women listed in the video, it was mentioned that they were tropical Sagittarius/ sidereal Scorpio women. Not surprising because Scorpio rules over imbalance in power. I see this happen a lot with Scorpio, especially Jyestha nakshatra women (ex. Taylor swift, Nicki Minaj, etc)

Wherever Scorpio is placed in a chart can indicate where there may be power struggles and obsession. Scorpio governs the 8th house of death, rebirth, energy transfer & other’s money. No doubt, the women in these relationships had a rebirth afterward for better or worse. Plus, the power dynamics was imbalanced. One partner, the woman, was richer or more successful.

Men’s chart

There was a mix of results and placements. Chris Pratt has Gemini Sun & Mercury, exalted moon in Taurus+ stellium/ Rohini Venus. Austin Butler has a Leo/magha stellium & debilitated moon in Anuradha. Jesse Williams has Cancer/Ashlesha Sun & Mercury + exalted moon in Taurus. Both have Mars as their atmakaraka.

Besides the difference in charts, they all have nakshatras related to snakes. Ashlesha- Naga & Rohini- snake yoni. In Vedic snake/naga association, especially Ashlesha, is known for its poison & binding nature. Men with this nakshatra sometimes want to entrap, control, dominate or use the feminine, either through contracts or submission. Refer to video

On the contrary, the men can also be dominated/emasulated by the feminine if they aren’t in tune with their nature. 

They all have feminine ruled planets (moon, Venus) as dominant placements. Feminine energy is receptive, sensual & illusionary. The shadow side is some men with heavy Venusian or LUNAR energy can want to be chased, nurtured, and provided for even by their female partner, due to an imbalance in energies. Laia calms Lunar down, Lunar explains who he is and Moon remembers the Swap dimension. They talk a bit about their world and Lunar about Cerise. And they come to the conclusion that Cerise is the Swap version of Laia. And Laia gushes about how cute it is that a Lunar has a partner. And offers to hang out sometime, maybe a double date dinner with her and Sun. Lunar can't say no to free food.

After a few weeks, Sawp Lunar and Cerise do agree to come to the double date. They go to a restaurant that also has vegetarian dishes.

Wow, I never thought that Laia's swap version would be a completely different person.

Pepper said something about how we are the same person just...built different? I guess if my market was also a candy shop we would look and act the same. I try not to think about it or my head hurts.

After dinner, they talk about their meeting with the horror version and they are wondering if there is a dimension with horror Swap Lunar and Cerise. But they shudder and don't want to think about this further. When the date was over, they agreed that the date was nice and wanted to do that again sometime. And Laia wants to do a girl's night with Cerise someday and EAPS Laia could join too, Cerise agrees.

i absolutely adore lumini because i am just a sucker for “doomed in every universe” trope

like. i’m 100% sure there is not a singular universe where they’re happy. not a singular one.

evil lunar? killed gemini before he even had the chance to love them.

lord lunar? never even met gem, and grown far to cruel to experience love.

swap lunar? the astrals are far too work-busy to fall for the brother of the person they are training.

our lunar? probably never gonna be forgiven by gem.

also, take in account that the astrals are basically gods. they live forever(unless they are slowly weakened by forces that match their power blah blah blah). if lumini did work out, lunar would either; A.) advance into full-on astral and abandon his family for a life of constant work, only seeing them for a short amount of time and eventually have to see them rot away; or B.) choose to stay on earth and not become an astral and gem has to watch him whither away eventually;

either way, there are so many what ifs? we could use for this ship tbh:

what if gemini is just dating lunar to try and get him to be more compliant and easier to handle in training?

what if lunar doesn’t truly love gemini and is just mistaking admiration for love?

what if gemini does love lunar, and then they have to leave, and all they can do is watch the person who taught them about love, who showed them what loving a person is, from afar?

what if lunar doesn’t truly fall out of love with gem and has to slug through his life acting like he doesn’t hate himself for all he’s done to a concerning degree, gaining his family’s trust again yet forever knowing his partners will never forgive him?

what if, way into the future, when gemini has long forgotten their love for lunar, and his robotic body has been buried in the soil, suddenly see something that reminds them of their former love and get flooded with the memories and the feelings he taught them?

what if lunar gets infected and gem can’t possibly do anything because they know it’s a horrible idea to approach an infected being?

im procrastinating again so im gonna talk about SAMS Eclipse, and more specifically why he didn't anticipate Lunar betraying him

Cos like, from an outside perspective it's a logical progression, right? Eclipse acted nice(ish) at first, told Lunar what he thought would make Lunar agree to help. As he got more frustrated about the lack of progress, he started taking it out on Lunar, who as a result started leaning on Monty as someone that was still being nice to him. That culminated in Eclipse and Lunar's fight, where Lunar said 'fuck this I'm out' and swapped with Moon.

(Honestly? I don't know if Eclipse ever meant to reset the universe to make everything 'better', or if that was just what he thought Lunar would accept as a long-term goal)

So it seems weird that Eclipse never saw the potential for betrayal coming. He didn't suspect Lunar would side with Moon to the point that he didn't even question "Lunar" knowing magic and their stupid one-upsmanship thing right after Moon took back control.

But take a step back for a bit. Up until that October, Eclipse never had the freedom of his own body. He was a passenger, watching someone else's lives and occasionally climbing into the driver's seat whenever he could take the wheel.

And whose lives was he watching? Who was Eclipse's only example of a sibling relationship?

Eclipse never anticipated Lunar turning on him because Sun never turned on Moon.

Moon used Sun for experiments, verbally abused him, punched him in the face-- and Sun forgave him for it. Sun weathered the worst parts of Moon's personality so that they came out on the other side intact.

Eclipse didn't even know it was an option for Lunar to get so tired of his shit that he would leave! And maybe if Lunar had been alone he would have dealt with it, but he ended up having Monty to lean on as a kind of middle ground.

(Sun, this isn't about you, so I'm not going to look too closely at your utter lack of any kind of social life and how that might have affected your willingness to stay by Moon's side 8'D )

I don't think Eclipse ever says anything about it at the time, but I wouldn't be surprised if part of the reason he killed Lunar once he got the star was directly in retaliation to a wound that goes a lot deeper than you'd think. Like, yes, he killed Lunar for betraying him, but in his eyes it was a massive, impossible breach of trust. Brothers just... don't turn on one another like that? They stick together no matter what?

And also he was hyped up on victory and is generally an unpleasant person but. Yeah.

Eclipse didn't anticipate Lunar's betrayal because his only role model for a sibling relationship is HELLA unhealthy and he literally didn't realize it was an option.

Well, fuck. “A lot of people are gonna die,” as US comic Trae Crowder put it; “but hey, at least eggs will be cheap!”

The Aquarius Moon is pretty closely trine Jupiter Rx/Gemini, and sextile Chiron Rx/Aries. Time to do some community-building. Get out and talk to people, in person. Can you help a 4th grader with their homework? Does your older neighbor need help getting the sidewalk shoveled? Maybe like me, you don’t have a green thumb, but you can knit and crochet - swap skills. It’s imperative to take care of each other, for the healing it brings our own selves as well as showing kindness to others.

We have to bear in mind that there’s a sizeable chunk of the US electorate that is racist and misogynist - dealing with that is going to be a challenge for me, personally, since I would like to gleefully obliterate them all (Aries Moon, Mars, Eris, Black Moons Lilith, and South Node). But I remind myself that obliteration isn’t helpful, and get over myself.

It will get real intense so be prepared. The villain in this fic is so interesting. An unexpected intersting part of this fic was reading the crows be a team without having Kaz as their leader sometimes. I love Inej in this fic so much. BAMF's Inej and Anika. Inej and Kaz have some cute moments. The ending eeee. My quick summary is the barrel goes to shit when a plague enters.

meiling & sakuya - servants of remilia scarlet. sakuya obviously has some inhuman elements to her but i feel like there's an appeal to making either or both of remilia's servants into doll-type beings. manipulation of fate, puppeteering, all that. alternately, either or both having mechanical prosthetics would just be cool (possibly in the sense of remilia taking some of their flesh upon entering her service, or otherwise)

chen & ran - they're shikigami. fairly obvious really

reisen - the lunar rabbits are probably designed to be a working population to support the lunarians; thus, it'd be interesting if the lunar rabbits were to some degree visibly mechanical, made more obvious by reisen staying on earth longer and her fake skin chipping away to reveal the joints beneath

kaguya - she's just kind of got doll vibes. you either get it or you don't

medicine & hina - they're both dolls. obvious

okuu - for her cannon arm and her legs, you could easily justify mechanical joints given that they're acting out the roles of mechnical devices. bonus points if they have detachable components so that she can swap between her power armour and regular limbs (and more besides)

kogasa, benben, yatsuhashi, raiko - they're tsukumogami, so i think it'd be fun if they looked a bit like puppets (that is, puppets that the spirits of their true bodies are manipulating)

futo & miko - this is more personal flavour but given how shikaisen work i think it'd be interesting if they looked slightly inhuman, and that's best reflected by having them be made of the material they used for their bodies (their plates and sword, respectively). and obviously if you're doing that then having joints is essential

okina - in addition to the obvious element of prosthetics adding onto the idea of her as a god of disabilities i also just think it'd fuck severely if she looked artificial. i already have the idea that she has different masks to represent different aspects of herself so adding that onto an obviously inhuman form would just be extremely cool. just imo

mayumi & keiki - mayumi is already an inhuman construct so that's pretty obvious. keiki's is a bit less intuitive but basically derives from the idea that she's as much a machine as mayumi is, she's simply the machine that makes all the other machines. a much more mechanical god than is usual in touhou; i think it'd be cool if she looked similar to her creations. made in their god's own image, even

enoko - really this just comes down to the idea of more of her body having the aesthetics of her claw-hands. and vibes

To the people who wanted the swap roles/personality tsams au, I gave up on it. The roles and designs were confusing me and it got complicated for my tiny brain to understand, And also I never make aus and I got overwhelmed and artblock. BUT I HAVE A NEW AU IN THE WORKS.

So this au takes place in the city where sun, moon, earth and lunar live in their own apartment, if you read the notes on the drawings than it explains the situation a lil more, lunar ran away from eclipse and their cousins (Sun and moon) took lunar in (kinda adopting him as a lil brother) than earth started to realize how bad her dad was and decided to look for her siblings (Sun and moon barely met her because they ran away at a young age idk still working on this story a lillllll 😭🙏) so she started to live in Sun and moon's apartment along with lunar.

When eclipse gotten a lil better (I think cuz he started to realize how much of an ass he is) he started hanging out with earth and sometimes crashed at their apartment, the brothers hated it but he was quiet and earth liked him. (NOT A SHIP THEIR COUSINS) Earth helps eclipse with his thoughts and issues as eclipse doesn't rlly open up but he's calm with earth, earth takes care of him always keeping in contact during work while eclipse wanders around the city, earth gives him extra clothes, food and she even washes his clothes and does his hair.

Lunar still hates eclipse but he's learned to kinda deal with him around, they hang out a little as lunar plays video games in the apartment eclipse will sit far away from him on the couch sometimes he will even give him advice on how to play some games!

curious about whats going on? me too! but my tag for this AU is #spindashswap. its not its official name, but for now, its the best name the au has v_v TLDR; A lot of character's roles are swapped, with the intent being to keep their personalities intact.

The original copy, Metal Shadow is Robotnik's greatest creation, a combination of Robotnik's mechanical genius and Shadow's Life Data, Metal Shadow is Shadow's 1 to 1 in practically every way! Running off Chaos Energy, Metal Shadow is capable of using Chaos Spear, Blast, and Control, and gives Shadow a run for his money in their proficiency with them. Like most things, however, they are not immune to a kick to the head.

Iblis is a fragment of the God of the Moon, Lunares, representing the harsh light that reflects from the moon's surface, it's counterpart being Mephilis, the moon's shadow. Whilst Mephilis is the retrospective and thoughtful half, it is also content to wait, for it is inevitable that they will be released, as the Princess Elise is doomed to shed a tear eventually. Iblis, on the other hand, is sealed within a sceptre, and is accidentally released by the Ultimate Lifeform, Sonic the Hedgehog.

(Whilst I speculate that Shadow's Arc in SA2, Heroes and 06 has been about his own agency and his desire to keep his promise to Maria, Sonic in canon doesn't really have that. He's always been a paragon of his own freedom and doesn't give that away to anyone. No one can stop him in his pursuit to do the right thing, and he can't really be manipulated into it either, unlike Shadow or Silver. All this to say that I think it's super interesting that Mephiles never attempts to manipulate Sonic, and instead relies on his consistency in his plan to make Elise release Iblis. He doesn't bother trying to get Elise to become close with Sonic because it's an inevitability he can rely on. )

Iblis, instead of attempting to manipulate Sonic, instead attempts to destroy him by openly mocking his fight against the inevitable. Sonic can run at the speed of sound, but surely he cannot outrun the speed of light. He will be unable to save the world he desires to protect, and they stand in the proof of that, in Crisis City, the shrouded remains of Soleanna. Everyone that they have come to care about is long gone, and Sonic is finally (inevitably, Iblis might say) caught by GUN and sealed away. Wheras Mephilis attempts to break Shadow's will by trying to convince him that they will always be seen as a villain, and the world will betray him, Iblis attempts to break Sonic's will by trying to convince him that it is a lost cause. He wasn't strong enough to protect those on the ARK. His freedom was taken by GUN. It will inevitably happen again.

Of course, it doesn't end up working. Sonic fights anyways. There are people that are counting on him and he doesn't have time to entertain the possibility that he could let them down. Let Tails down.

As for what Iblis steals from Sonic. Maybe his reflection or something. This is a lot of word dump for a silly roleswap au.
