Show dont Tell is very important in a tv show, movie...., and watching Percy Jackson, it felt like they didnt really follow this advice.??....during some of the dialogue (though delivered well because the cast is amazing okay!) i was literally cringing internally because yeah, sure they were telling us a lot of things (not so subtlety) but what does it bring??? why are you telling us that??? the events and talking are just... kind of happening flatly???

Their foundations are on hate and violence, INCLUDING AGAINST THEIR OWN PEOPLE if said people criticize their actions - see the violence with which the people protesting for the end of the ocupation faced in Israel (jewish protestors were beaten up by the police).

The start was promising but Posiodeon did not care about Percy this much in the books initially imo

while we're on the topic of talking about changes the pjo show made that i love, im glad they didn't push the whole Annabeth saying she and Percy *have* to be enemies because athena and Poseidon have beef. Instead she's just this cryptid autistic strategist 12 yr old who stalks Percy and pushes him into the water. She's like "hmm this white boy will perfectly serve my purpose and schemes" and she's so real for that
