terfs when a study shows literally anything positive about trans people/transitioning: 'hm i think this requires some fact-checking. Were those researchers REALLY unbiased? Because if they were biased this doesn't count and if they weren't knowingly biased they probably were unconsciously biased, woke media affects so much these days. Have there been any other studies on this? Because if there haven't been this could be an outlier and if there have been and they all agree that's a bit odd, why aren't there any outliers, and if there have been and any disagree we really won't know the truth until we very thoroughly analyze them all, will we? Were there enough subjects for a good sample size? Did every single subject involved stay involved through the whole study because if they didn't we should be sure nothing shady was going on resulting in people dropping out. Are we 110% sure all the subjects were fully honest and at no point were embarrassed or afraid to admit they didn't love transitioning to the people in charge of their transition? Are we 110% sure none of the subjects were manipulated into thinking they were happy with their transition? In fact we should double-check what they think with their parents, because if the subjects and their parents disagree it's probably because they've been manipulated but their cis parents have not and are very unbiased. How many autistic subjects were there because if there weren't enough then this doesn't really study the overlap between autistic and trans and if there were too many then we just don't know enough about what causes that overlap to be sure this study really explains being trans and isn't just about being autistic. How many AFAB subjects were there because if there weren't enough this is just another example of prioritizing AMAB people and ignoring the different struggles of girls and women and if there were too many how do we know sexism didn't affect the results. Was the study double-blinded? We all know double-blinded is the most reliable so if this one wasn't that's a point against it even if the thesis literally physically could not be double-blinded. Look i'm not being transphobic, i want what's best for trans people! Really! But as a person who is not trans and therefore objective in a way they cannot possibly be, i just think we should only take into account Good Science here. You want to be following science and not being manipulated or experimented upon by something unscientific, right?'
terfs when they see a study of 45 subjects so old it predates modern criteria for gender dysphoria and basically uses 'idk her parents think she's too butch', run by a guy who practiced conversion therapy, 'confirmed' by a guy who treated the significant portion of subjects who didn't follow up as all desisting, definitely in the category of 'physically cannot double-blind this', completely contradicted by multiple other studies done on actual transgender subjects, but can be kinda cited as evidence against transitioning if you ignore everything else about it: 'oOOH SEE THIS IS WHAT WE'RE TALKIN BOUT. SCIENCE. Just good ol' unbiased thorough analysis. I see absolutely no reason to dig any deeper on this and if you think it's wrong you're the one being unscientific. It's really a shame you've been so thoroughly brainwashed by the trans agenda and can't even accept science when you see it. Maybe now that someone has finally uncovered this long-lost study from 1985, we can make some actual progress on the whole trans problem.'
#science#transphobia#cass review#less 'cass review' generally more 'zucker specifically' because this same problem exists outside cass#have lost count of the number of times i've seen 'well THAT study may have said most trans kids persist but it MUST be wrong'#'there's another study says the exact opposite. that one's right. obviously.'#but cass is why i'm annoyed by it now#normally i don't have a problem with critical observations and questions. yeah check your science! that's good!#there have been some bullshit studies and some bullshit interpretations of good studies! scientific literacy is important!#and normally also am willing to pretend the people pulling reaction 1 on some studies and reaction 2 on others are. not the same group.#but now there's a ton of cass supporters tryna say 'oh the cass review didn't reject or downplay anything for being pro-trans!'#'some studies just weren't given much weight for being poor evidence! not our fault those were all studies with results trans people like!'#…….………….aight explain why zucker's findings are used for the 'percentage of trans kids who don't stay trans' stat instead of anyone else's.#would've been more scientifically accurate to say 'yeah we just don't know.'#'studies have been done but none of them fit our crack criteria sooooo *shrug*'#like COME ON at least PRETEND you're genuinely checking scientific correctness and not looking for excuses to weed out undesirable results#am also mad about zucker in particular because his is possibly the most famous bullshit study#quite bluntly if you're doing trans research and think 'yeah this one seems reasonable' you. are maybe not well-informed enough for the job#there's just no way you genuinely look at the research with an eye toward accurate science regardless of personal bias#and walk away thinking 'hm that zucker fellow seems reasonable. competent scientists will respect that citation.'#that's one or two steps above doing a review of vaccine science and seriously citing wakefield's mmr-causes-autism study#it doesn't matter what the rest of your review says people are gonna have OPINIONS on that bit#and outside anti-vaxxers most of those opinions will be 'are you actually the most qualified for this because ummmm.'#people who agree with everything else will still think someone more competent could've done a much better job#people who disagree with everything else will point to that as proof you don't know shit and why should we listen to you#anyway i'd love a hugeass trans science review with actual fucking standards hmu if you know of one cause this ain't it#……does tumblr still put a limit on how many tags you can include guess me and my tag essay are about to find out.

Generational Detriment
If you enable your children, you might as well abuse them. No…not literally abuse these gifts to our bloodline but this is what I mean. When we sit up here and save our loved ones from hardships, we’re tearing them away from valuable lessons they need to be successful. We are saving them from wisdom they can pass down. And well…we’re saving them from karma that they may have gained by moving in a way that doesn’t reflect their highest self.
Some people may disagree and that’s fine but the proof is in the pudding. Usually people, no matter the financial class, who enable their children are setting them up for failure. Because these same children will grow up and become adults that believe every issue in life is going to break them. That every other authority figure or rule must cave into what they desire. The same individuals who will grow to believe honest people are not good for them so they surround themselves with people who are dishonest. The truth repels them because they have been able to be saved through the lies for so long. Where there’s truth, the lie cannot survive. However, a lie thrives in comfortability. Truth is hidden in growth because without honesty, there will never be true growth internally.
Ever since I realized that successful people are people who don't give up after being told ‘no’ a thousand times, I’ve looked at the people who are always told yes. Let’s be real and realize, there’s a clear difference.
The entitlement alone that comes with somebody who always has another somebody that’s pulling them out of the holes they dug, is crazyyyy. You would think the people that have someone(s) looking out for them would be more intentional with gratitude but that couldn’t be further from the truth. But if I can be honest…it’s an attitude that can attach itself to anyone who refuses accountability.
Then soon enough, people like that will believe what they choose to believe because accountability makes them too uncomfortable in the fact that they play a role in the downfall of a situation.
Everyone makes mistakes. This is something everyone knows but only thinks about when they refuse to see the hand they played.
There’s power in reflecting and seeing where you went wrong. When you can pinpoint where YOU went wrong, you are able to avoid something crumbling before your eyes again. And there is where you will avoid doing that again so you don’t end up with dreadful results in the end.
My Granny always told me, ‘God ain’t gone ask you what the other person did. He’s going to ask YOU what you did.’.
I couldn’t agree more. Most of my anguish in life came from worrying about the way others treated me but 9/10 I gave them the handbook. But if you find yourself going down a familiar road of patterns that you aren’t happy with, it's time to look within yourself. Only you can control you; what everyone outside of you does, is completely out of your control. Nothing wrong with pointing out where you messed up at - if anything that makes you more relatable and teachable.
Being enabled does not make you teachable. In all honesty… you will never know everything. From the day you’re born to the day you pass away, you will always learn new information. What you decide to do with that information will decipher what your character is. As for me, you can learn alot about a person who thinks everyone else is the problem and I stay away from those types.
Cause ok…even if everyone else is the ‘problem’, why do you keep surrounding yourself with those types? Make it make sense.

20 Questions for Fic Writers
Thank you for the tag, @sawymredfox!!!
1. how many works do you have on AO3?
21
2. what’s your total AO3 word count?
1,032,269. When you throw in the Tumblr only stuff I think I'm closer to 1.2 million overall.
3. what fandoms do you write for?
Pedro Pascal fandom, mostly TLOU! But I'd love to spend some time with Poe Dameron, my beloved, so I might dive into Star Wars beyond Mando at some point :)
4. top five fics by kudos
I'm really not sure on Tumblr? Individual chapters don't get as much attention and I don't write many one shots, my highest single post on Tumblr is probably a one shot but I have NO CLUE which one!
On AO3:
Lavender
Beskar Doll
Yearling
New in Town
Lavender No Outbreak AU
5. do you respond to comments?
I used to be so much better about doing this and I've just not been keeping up with it lately. I want to get back to it! I LOVE getting comments, they make me so happy! Part of my issue is I read them immediately even if I don't have time to respond and I'm like "I'll respond when I post the next chapter" and then I post the next chapter super late at night and I'm so tired and I'm just like "I'll reply later" and then I never do.
ANYWAY! I want to get back to replying to comments because I love them. I used to reply to every one. Less now.
6. what is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Probably Proof of Life, an angsty as hell QZ!Joel era one shot. I traffic in angst but I like my happy endings, especially for long fics :)
7. what’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Lavender I think. After all that angst, they got the life they wanted and saved the world. Not too shabby.
8. do you get hate on fics?
I haven't really! I've had a few people disagree with directions I took characters or plot lines and a few people send asks that didn't feel so nice but I'm not sure they were intended to not be nice. I try to not take those things personally. But everyone as been exceedingly kind, probably kinder than I deserve!
9. do you write smut?
I do but I feel like it's my weakest area. If you're looking primarily for smut and reading my stuff, you're probably in the wrong place, I'm sorry! I wish I was better at it! I feel like I'm getting better at it. But alas!
10. craziest crossover?
I haven't written any and I haven't really read any, either. Closest thing I came to a crossover I think is tying the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy of Star Wars into Doll's history in Beskar Doll.
11. have you ever had a fic stolen?
None so far!
12. have you ever had a fic translated?
Not shared anywhere but I do have commenters in other languages tell me they've put my fic into Google Translate to read it! I think that's immensely cool .
13. have you ever co-written a fic before?
I haven't but I'd be open to it!
14. all time favorite ship?
Of characters that actually exist in canon? Probably Han Solo and Leia Organa. I LOVE them. Love love love love LOVE them. The "I love you" "I know" in Empire followed by the reversal in Jedi? TO DIE FOR.
15. what’s a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
As far as fics go? None. I have the stories so thoroughly planned there I'm compelled to finish them, I can't help it. I wasn't always this thorough of a planner, though, and I have so many books that I've started and written like 40k words of that I'll probably never finish. That breaks my heart a little. All these characters who won't get to live their whole lives because I can't get their stories across the finish line. But I'm not sure I have enough hours left in the rest of my life to tell every story I've got inside me so it'll have to be what it will be!
16. what are your writing strengths?
Dialogue.
17. what are your writing weaknesses?
Everything else lol especially smut. I feel like my descriptions are often lacking, too.
18. thoughts on dialogue in another language?
Yes please! As long as the author can do it right (either because they know the language enough or get help from someone who does - the translate tools just aren't great at grammar and it takes me out if it's a language I know.)
19. first fandom you wrote in?
The Pedro fandom! Specifically, the Mandalorian. Beskar Doll, my first baby <3
20. favorite fic you’ve written?
Probably Lavender? Maybe Yearling. It's so hard to say! I'm probably the most attached to Doc and Joel, though.
NP tags: @dancingtotuyo @beardedjoel @ramblers-lets-get-ramblin @netherfeildren and anyone else who wants to play!

💖💙💜 owen harper bisexuality masterpost 💖💙💜
i've had this in my drafts for a minute but i figured i'd finish it up and post it today for bisexual visibility day :D
it hasn't cropped up recently, but i've seen a lot of people who've questioned owen's bisexuality over the years and i thought i'd compile all the 'evidence' (although it completely baffles me that we got a show with five canonical bisexual characters and people want to write two of them off as straight / "heterflexible" ?? there shouldn't have to be 'proof' of owen being bi, RTD said torchwood is about five bisexuals fighting aliens in cardiff which means they're all bi, full stop. also, bisexuals should never have to 'prove' they're bi, and in regards to fictional characters, i'm sick of people nit-picking who 'deserves' to be counted as rep and refusing to 'claim' certain characters if they're morally grey or if the fandom simply doesn't Like them as much-)
but i digress.
so without further ado, here's everything i've found that supports owen's status as a bicon :-)
explicit canon instances
➤➤ obviously, we have to start with his gay kiss in the first episode of the show. there's a lot to be said about that kiss, i'm not gonna get into all that here, but i've seen a lot of people say it's not proof of owen being attracted to men, and i wholeheartedly disagree. you can literally catch him smiling very happily after the kiss (and one of owen's few genuine smiles of the series, too). i don't think a straight man (or even a "heteroflexible" man) would beam at another guy who's just informed him that he wants to fuck him. a fair amount of people have also said they interpreted owen calling the taxi as him intending to get away from the couple, but i don't understand how they're getting that impression, because that smile makes it seem very much apparent to me that running away is the last thing he wants to do.
it's also, notably, the first time we see bisexuality IN the bisexual show, which i don't think should be discounted. like, we see owen do something gay before jack does, for fuck's sake. is it a good first impression of how torchwood portrays bisexuality? no. is setting owen up as a more sex-driven, opportunistic bisexual nicely contrasted against ianto & tosh's more romance-oriented brand of demisexual bi/pansexuality? in my opinion, yes. i love that the torchwood bisexuals all practice their bisexuality in different ways. that's very special to me. 'cause it's realistic! real bisexuals all experience bisexuality differently! obviously it'd be a different story if he was the only bi rep, because lord knows we've seen enough of that already, but torchwood makes an effort to show us five different brands of bisexuality, and five different bi stories that largely only exist in the subtext, that aren't the focus of the show, and it's fantastic. it's all i could ever want out of bi rep, honestly, even if it is a bit dated now.
➤➤ the other explicit moment in the show: asking tosh and ianto for an end-of-the-world threesome in sleeper (s2ep2). i've actually never seen owen bi-deniers (fhdskjf it's a conspiracy) even mention this scene. owen literally asks ianto if they can have sex with each other to his face, and he's dead serious when he asks it. that's... i mean you can't mistake that as anything else. like fhdsjkf??
➤➤ next we jump to some of the, i suppose, extended universe content. whether the books are canon or not is debated, but the novel 'another life' features owen playing an online simulation game, and it makes a point to depict owen flirting with someone with a male avatar + wondering to himself if the guy would be down for cyber-sex. [someone posted part of that scene here. for context, owen's also got a VR headset on during that bit.]
➤➤ another instance is on the website, which some also don't regard as canon, but, i mean, i don't know who worked on the things we see on that site, but obviously they got their information from somewhere. they probably consulted with the writers on the show, or at the very least got notes on what things to touch on. anyway, there's a portion of the site where you can find a 'background check' on owen, and it's just a collection of messages from some ex-lovers of his. one of them is a man.
again, some people disregard the canon validity of the website, but the way i see it, the information on this site was released while the show was airing for fans to look at and to gain further insight on the characters. one of the things they felt a need to tell us about owen, important enough to be featured in his background (wayyy before the katie plot was developed), was that he wasn't just interested in women. personally, i regard that as canon. you can find this here. and even if you wanna say fragments jossed this background, it doesn't joss his, like... identity.
next we have things said by russell t. davies himself + by burn gorman (owen's actor)
➤➤ again, RTD (who's torchwood's creator, but i'm assuming everyone reading this knows that) explicitly described torchwood as "a bunch of bisexuals living under cardiff and fighting aliens". that's not ambiguous. [i don't have a direct source for this quote, it was apparently said on the dvd extras.]
burn's comments on owen's sexuality include...
➤➤ (when asked who owen fancies) "Owen's pretty cocky, he'll try it on with whoever comes along." [x] and yes, this is vague, but vagueness is often interpreted as proof of bisexuality. (for example, in the pacific rim dvd features, newt's bio stating he was interested in "whoever will take him" was widely interpreted by the fandom as him being bi.)
➤➤ (in regards to owen's "let's all have sex" line) "I don't think he [...] thinks about the implications, or whether it's with a man or a woman." [x]
(ok i have to admit, although i absolutely adore burn, i'm not super fond of the way his 2006-08 self would talk about how torchwood handled sexuality*. however! he kind of hit the nail on the head in saying that, even if it's in the context of owen wanting end-of-the-world sex, because my take on how owen sees his own sexuality has always essentially boiled down to thinking he'd be like, "well, why wouldn't men also be an option?" (well, with sexual attraction anyway; i think owen's relationship with romantic attraction is far more complex.) i think he resembles jack in that way; anyone's a prospective sexual partner, if they're attractive and interesting and he decides he wants them, and he's also impulsive as hell, so he doesn't think too hard about gender in the moment if he decides he's into someone. there's not really any hang-ups.)
➤➤ and ofc...
(out of context this could look like he's just jokingly calling owen an alien-fucker, although owen makes his thoughts on alien-fucking pretty clear in countrycide lol, but it was said in the context of owen/andy as a ship [x].)
*if you're wondering what i'm referring to, it's a comment here [x] about how the torchwood team's bisexuality is a result of being in a pressure cooker environment and having a 'wartime mentality', and they just kind of 'take what they can get'. the implication that bisexuality is out of desperation/accessibility rather than attraction is pretty damn icky, BUT i love him lots and he generally seems to be pretty woke these days (+ otherwise has always seemed to grasp why torchwood's rep was so unique and groundbreaking and important) so i'll go ahead and hope that was just, y'know, simple 'being a straight guy in 2008' ignorance. fifteen years is a long time and i have faith his opinions have evolved by now, esp considering he used the word 'pansexual' at a 2016 con [x]. (actually, ok, you caught me, that last bit wasn't super relevant and i didn't need to bring it up, but i just wanted to gush about him doing it because how often do you hear that word out of celebs, especially older and presumably straight ones. and in 2016, too. kinda slay of him, ngl)
aaand finally, some random, non-explicit little things that i think support him being a bisexy king (several of these are goofy and half-serious)
➤➤ in episode 2, they make a point to cut to owen smiling after jack's line about "you people and your quaint little labels". one might argue he's smiling at gwen & carys on the screen, but cutting to him immediately after jack says it very much implies he's reacting to jack's words, and i think it's particularly poignant after, again, we saw him kiss a man the episode prior. (which, another thing - owen's literal introduction features him kissing a man, like that's gotta count for something. if the literal third thing i ever see a male character do ever is kiss a guy, that means something.)
➤➤ and of course, in the same episode, we get "period military is not the dress code of a straight man" .... owen's the only one of them with working gaydar. also what a fruity thing to say
➤➤ speaking of fruity things to say, in s2e10 when they're all watching the old film, owen goes "look at the state of them 💅" and he says it SO cunty for no reason it always kills me fhsdkjfd
➤➤ combat.
➤➤ no, really.
➤➤ bonus: in the combat commentary, it's mentioned that when RTD saw the above scene between mark & owen, he said it was "the gayest thing he'd ever seen".
➤➤ in the three monkeys, a big finish audio featuring owen & andy, owen flirts with andy repeatedly. even if he just does it to be annoying, it's still pretty damn gay. also the pet names... (he calls him sweetheart, sunshine, and tiger. it's half-mocking, sure, especially because it's owen, but there's also a domesticity to it.)
➤➤ and then there's the hope's "you're alive again and you want crisps?!" "be glad that's all i'm asking for" (owen was like 'i will not use this as an excuse to try to sleep w andy i will not use this as an excuse to try to sleep w andy i will not use th') these are the only two audios i've heard with this duo, i'm sure there's more examples in the other two. i know gooseberry literally has owen sabotaging andy's relationship with his gf and that is... woohoohoo.... i'll update this once i get through those.
➤➤ …. this is my personal opinion but i lowkey think he kinda wants john hart a bit when they all first meet him in kkbb hdskjfds. gwen & tosh both seem very charmed by him and they're meant to, it's supposed to be like 'oh, look at jack's ex waltzing in and charming the pants off everyone (ha), and only ianto and jack see through him' - owen isn't given a flirty line of dialogue or even a close-up shot of him eyeing john like the girls get, but if you watch him closely he certainly looks… intrigued by him. i think owen's more of a bi disaster than he lets on.
➤➤ in episode 10, diane notes that owen has "beauty products" in his bathroom. obviously this shouldn't be indicative of sexuality, but how many Straight Men in 2006 were moisturizing lmao. hell, how many do nowadays 😭
➤➤ gwen & owen's dynamic settles into a lovely little friendship in s2 and owen lowkey gives gbf vibes <3 them making fun of the movie in s2e10 together + the cheek-kissing at the end of s2e9… bi besties!!
➤➤ the peace sign he throws up in meat when he meets rhys fdsjk i don't even believe in some of the silly internet jokes abt bi culture but c'mon
➤➤ have you seen his taste in women. diane is soo butch and gwen's a total tomboy in s1. that's bi culture babey!!!! i too like girls when they're boys
➤➤ i already talked about it but the aforementioned scene where he asks tosh and ianto for a threesome... he asks them, like, immediately after they team up and bully him for not comprehending that there's "no phones. phones all broken. anyone there? no, 'cause the phones aren't working." that was suuuch a disaster bi owen moment for me. i too would get a little revved up if tosh and ianto both bullied me at once <3
aaand finally... the biggest Evidence of all....
➤➤ he's a leather jacket bisexual. need i say more
and that's all! thanks for reading!
[credit for the dividers used in this. didn't tumblr used to have built-in dividers? i miss that.]

James had a plan, it would’ve brought the arena up to space and global communication would be restored forever cause no grimm can get to space. Is secret cause last time he showed his hands it all got turned against him.
RWBY says secrets bad despite lying and keeping all sorts of secrets from him.
Fucks over all his plans by making him spill the beans to the council and have Nero overhear and relay info to Cinder and Salem.
It’s almost like all of the problems could’ve been avoided if they had just trusted Ironwood and not be like Oz in keeping secrets.
1- No it wasn't.
Ironwood: If we harness the power of the Staff, and raise ourselves high into the atmosphere, the city's artificial climate will keep citizens and food supplies unharmed. Always out of reach of whatever Salem may try to send our way.
This is James' plan in its entirety. Nowhere does it mention restoring communications. In fact, Oscar outright says he's abandoning all of Remnant and giving up his plan on re-establishing communications. James does not disagree.
Oscar: If you abandon Mantle, you abandon our best chance of reuniting the world. You abandon Remnant, leaving millions to fend for themselves so a few can survive. What kind of-- Ironwood: (rolling his eyes) All excellent philosophical points that won't matter if Salem wins.
His statement doesn't make sense for him to say if he is trying to reunite Remnant now does it?
2- Congratulations- Now try to understand why on earth would Team RWBY be spilt on the idea of lying to James and why they would be uneasy about the idea if they were supposed to be right in doing so and how that makes no fucking sense.
3- His plan was falling apart BEFORE that point with Jacques forcing him into a corner.
Sleet: The fact of the matter is, you've operated with a fair amount of autonomy for the past few years, James. But we need now is for you to work with us. Winter is tapping her finger on the table with a scowl on her face. Ironwood: Sir, I have-- Camilla: It's obvious that no kingdom intends to declare war on Atlas. We had no involvement in the incident at Haven, we have proof our drones weren't acting on orders at Beacon. At this point, the closure of Atlas borders is only serving to hurt our relations with the rest of the world. Ironwood: I-- Robyn: The rest of the world? It's hurting us. The people of Atlas are suffering and they want to know why. Robyn turns her head to look at Ironwood who looks saddened. Jacques: Quite right, Ms. Hill. Ironwood drops the saddened expression and looks at Jacques. Robyn turns to Jacques, as well. Jacques: And I'm afraid there's more than just your choices that have brought harm to our citizens as of late. Have your forces found any additional evidence as to who is slaughtering innocent civilians down in Mantle? Clover is looking at Ironwood, and as he begins to speak, Clover turns his gaze to Jacques. Clover: That is an ongoing investigation, the details of which are classified, I'm afraid. Jacques immediately begins speaking again, not leaving even a split second of silence. Jacques: I'm afraid of the ever-growing list of classified information you seem to be keeping. I asked our fellow councilmen here to shed some light on your Amity Colosseum project and, as it turns out, they know about as much as I do. Winter continues to tap her finger on the table. Robyn: Even you don't know? Ironwood: The Amity Project will help with all of the issues you've presented, but you have to understand that discretion is a top priority at this time. Jacques: Are you saying you don't trust us? Winter's tapping speeds up, and she aggressively slams her fist onto the table and stands up, facing Jacques. Winter: You can't just buy trust like everything else, you have to earn it! Robyn looks at Winter, smiling a little. There is silence for a few moments, and Jacques begins smiling. Jacques: I couldn't have said it better myself. Winter gasps. Jacques: General, if I may be blunt, you have spent what little trust this Council had left in you. The hacker who turned Atlas drones against us was never captured, whoever's been murdering your critics is still at large. How are we supposed to give you our trust, when you've given us nothing as of late?
Remember how much the writers hate Jacques and portray him as not even have the backbone of fucking Adam then realize that they are writing him as having a point against James. Then realize how this is fucking over his plan.
4- Congratulations- You understand Team RWBY's INTENDED character flaws.
Now try James.

One thing that's come from this is that it's shown who is actually interested in the truth and who isn't. The fearmongering, dramamongering crowd don't care about any actual research that's been done on the topics they passionately attack people over. Have they ever bothered to ask what the professionals that study and treat kink, paraphilia, and paraphilic disorders have to say? What their position is? No, they care what other people online believe. They don't let the evidence lead to a conclusion. They look for any "evidence" that supports the conclusion they've already made. They let what they think makes sense to them design the argument rather than anything tangible. They see what big name online has been called out and say that's the proof. What FEELS right is proof. What I consider "normal" is the proof. They very easily brush off any actual evidence shown them as not worth their time, or clearly made by pedo apologists because it doesn't confirm "common sense," or grasp for any tiny reason to dismiss it as untrue, while also providing absolutely nothing to support them. People that care about aligning with what is true actually look into what has been said by people that know what they're talking about, even when they don't come to the same conclusion. They are able to see that there are many potential outcomes and choose the one that they feel has the best supporting evidence, but are willing to change their mind based on new information. This situation isn't just having an opinion or disagreeing with someone, it's specifically anti intellectual and fear mongering. It's designed to paint your enemies as the worst people based on the most bad faith interpretation of what you see, without any room for anything else, no matter how much the evidence disproves you. It is no different than how the ARAs or other fear-based groups function. The goal is to set up a person that does not exist but give it someone's name, and then destroy it. It is not about learning or the truth or protecting anyone. It is about using alarmist tactics to depict yourself as a morally righteous hero by casting out regular people you have deemed as too deviant to be worth human decency. Create a sense of danger based on emotional responses, build that up, and then attack in a blind rage. There is only room for black and white thinking in those groups. Never believe there is a possibility you could be wrong. That's the thinking of predators. Anythinf and everything the enemy does is proof of their monstrous nature. No matter what they say or do, it's bad. And these predators are all around you. They are master manipulators. Once someone is labeled a predator, you can't trust anything they say. They are Bad and we are Good. They don't act like WE do, and we are Good, so they must be Bad. Anything you do, it's for the good of children and animals. Think of the children. Think of the animals. The world is full of predators. Deviancy is predatory. Destroy deviancy at all costs.
But never step out of line and show a whiff of anything your friends have decided is unclean, unacceptable, immoral. They will cannibalize you. This way of life leads to everyone turning on each other at some point. Anyone that doesn't adhere to the arbitrary rules will be attacked. Consider another point of view or ever question what has already been decided as true will make you an outcast. Ever suggest that maybe you are wrong and you'll become a monster too. Because it's not about learning and growing and discovering a better outlook. It's about punishing an imagined evil and maintaining a Visage of righteousness. And what we feel is good must be good, and what we feel is evil must be evil, not matter what anyone, even the experts, say otherwise.

i understand that you didn’t have any harmful intentions when it came to your reblog about the mature filter, but that post was specifically about the mistreatment of trans women and how they are the ones most heavily impacted by the staff, whether they post actual mature stuff or not. you probably didn’t mean to, but your addition seemed to minimise the harm that transfemmes are put through and it most likely would have been better if you had made your own post instead of derailing another.
If you're the same anon who sent hate before, I'd appreciate you started out with an apology and I am not really inclined to talk to you, but since I care about the subject I will give it a proper response.
I respectfully disagree about how my reblog minimizes the harm that trans women are put through. Trans women are included in the queer community, and tumblr censors (or anyway attempts to) posts about the queer community in general - point which I think is worth considering while we talk about how posts about trans women get censored. We can have both the conversations at the same time.
It's like with the current politics in the US, UK and in many other countries: the main focus is on trans folks at the present moment, but truly what these people hate (these people: bigots, fascists, neo-nazis, right-wingers in general) is queer folks. Scratch the surface and everything comes out: the groups pushing for the erasure and criminalization of transness are against abortion, divorce, gay marriage, drag, otherness of any kind, and this is an important conversation to be had not because it's about taking the focus away from trans folks, but because it's about reminding everyone that we either stand together or we fall.
Tumblr's bigot tendencies reek of this. Posts that mention trans women get labelled mature, posts that show two men kissing get labelled mature, pictures of men in tasteful lingerie get labelled mature, and posts mentioning mlm or wlw love get labelled mature. These are all the same thing: queerphobia, so while we have a conversation about how tumblr censors posts about trans women, it's worth mentioning (mentioning, not overriding the original topic) that tumblr also censors other types of queer content, which demonstrates further how it isn't a bug (as staff tried to claim), it isn't any kind of fluke and it instead it's something embedded in the website's policies and in how they handle certain kinds of content in general.
That being said, I also don't think the post got derailed in any meaningful way. My followers (which aren't by any means a significant number by the way) know my stance in regard to trans issues and know that I myself am part of the trans community, and they're aware of the fact that I care personally about the topic. I have gotten a few likes on that post, maybe one or two reblogs, and the focus kept being on trans women's posts as it was meant to be, as in fact my addition meant to only be a reminder that yes, staff does this, they do target queer content, this is not a coincidence or a one time thing.
I might understand the contempt if I had said something like "actually it's not trans women, they're fiiine - the point is everyone else". But I haven't. What I'm saying is that yes they indeed do this to trans femmes, they do this all the time with queer content, we are not misplaced in our feelings of outrage. There is LITERAL PROOF that they do this, so we should recognize and be aware that when we engage with this site we also engage with a bigoted, transphobic & queerphobic staff.
There was no need to send me hate over it, either.
This is the post with my reblog, for reference.

I keep getting asks about discourse even though I have said many times before that this not a place where I like to hold discourse. I don't plan to change that, but since people can't leave it alone, I'll give a rundown on some of our general Discourse Perspectives and Rules™ so I can just tap the sign if anyone else comes into our inbox or something screaming at us over any other/more discourse in the future.
I don't take call-outs or other accusations seriously unless they have reasonable proof for everything. This means that: the proof must not be easily disputable; it must not be offensive or harmful due to a misunderstanding, finding its way out of the audience it was intended for, or simple mistake due to perspective at the time it was made/said; it must not be something taken out of context. I also don't consider minor mistakes or a simple difference in opinion on minor issues something that justifies a giant call-out or cancelation, especially in cases where they can just be taken up with the op privately (or even just on a reblog chain); the call-out itself must be an appropriate reaction to any offense. Calling for a full "cancelation" of someone over a single post the op didn't mean to hurt anyone with (just as an example) is not what we'd consider appropriate.
On a related note, no, "this person has done XYZ which is bad but I'm not gonna elaborate on the how or why" is not enough for us to give a shit about whatever discourse you're yapping about. Either elaborate with sources, direct quotes, and an explanation, or leave us alone.
If we ever do speak about a call-out, us asking questions and questioning what we may see as weak points doesn't mean we're "defending" whoever the call-out is about. It just means I want clarification and/or think the call-out is being a little unfair, not that I think criticism of the person in question is necessarily unwarranted. My opinions on call-outs and my opinions on who those call-outs are about are two separate things. I can say I think something is taken out of context while agreeing that it wasn't very good in context (as just one example).
This is because call-outs and discourse – however normal they've become in modern internet times – can still be very serious things. I will engage with serious things like this with a critical eye, because I don't want to come to a rash decision that could hurt people. I consider myself decent at textual analysis, and I'm going to implement my skills at that to whatever call-outs or "why are you supporting X" messages I happen across. If I end up dismissing something based on the conclusion I draw, that does not necessarily mean I think the accused did nothing wrong, but rather that what was brought before me to accuse them does not hold up.
Just because we reblog from or talk to someone doesn't mean we agree with them on every discourse opinion they may have. In fact, we may disagree with and criticize their views, perhaps even openly – we've done it before.
Trying to explain our thoughts on every little discourse point is not worth the time or effort to us. If you can't find our public opinion on something, assume we either have a private opinion and have thought it over amongst ourselves, or don't feel we know enough to say something on it or form an Official Opinion™ (assuming we know anything at all). Discourse is not one of our hobbies, and we don't intend to make it one.
On a related note, stop assuming that everyone on the internet is fully and wholly informed on every single discourse argument going on at all times. I have a life outside of Tumblr and try not to make myself miserably overwhelmed by all the horrible things in the world; you cannot possibly expect me to understand what the hell you're talking about if you come onto my blog and start randomly accusing people of just generally being horrible with no context or explanation. I am not omniscient, I am just someone blogging on the internet.
Might add onto this in the future if we feel the need to, but I think this establishes most of our bases. Part of me can't believe this is necessary, but it's Tumblr, so better safe than sorry when it comes to discourse. Especially considering people have already tried to start shit with us many times in the past. Good to have a sign to tap for when it inevitably happens again.

Help Wanted 2 Ideas and Theories (spoilers)
I'm going to start this off by saying that I'll be disagreeing with a lot of theories I've seen around, but this is in no way meant to attack or invalidate those theories. At this point no one can claim anything as fact as the game in my opinion makes everything much more confusing and nothing has been actually confirmed.
But there are things we can talk about : 3
From here on out there will be ending spoilers and basic spoilers in general. And just another quick reminder these are just my thoughts and I'm in no way refuting other ideas or theories as if it's fact.
So I guess I'll start off with the one I've seen most.
There is a theory going around that we the player are a child, which just doesn't make much sense to me. I get where the idea came from, specifically from Sun calling us a child, but the rest of the game doesn't fit this narrative.
I've also seen people talk about how in Help Wanted (First one) that we were playing a game the whole which is true but the game itself was meant only for Fazbear employees. Not children. I personally chalk Sun's use of the word 'child' to either a writings mistake or that part of the game is actually a game and not at all real.
You see in HW2 we have two realties, the mask one and the real one and each side has their own games. The Arts and Crafts specific game has two versions, one being in the Mask Reality and the other being in Reality. We can tell the difference because one is in a very clean environment while the other seems to take place before Ruin.
So my problem with the child theory is that...it just wouldn't make sense. The program we are playing is again only meant for employees, the game I believe takes place just before Ruin (Sun's broken down, Roxy gets her mask in game, Chica is busted up). It's the in-between for the two games.
With this in mind what kid would be around the Ruined Pizzaplex and somehow managing to figure out and work said program to even play these games? Let alone getting down into the old location. The game starts off directly speaking to an employee and no one else besides Sun mentions anything about the player being a child.
So if we're not a kid-what are we? Well I have a few ideas. First the most usual answers to this could be Cassie's Dad, she speaks about him in the past tense meaning he's either already gone or could have left recently. Personally I'm not sure if i subscribe to this idea, it's not a bad one and I can see it fitting but I don't have any or seen any proof to this being the case.
Another idea is...that we are playing as a staff bot. And this isn't just because of the ending where a Mask Bot gives Cassie her mask it's that Fazbear has replaced almost all their employees with bots. Clearly the system is still up and running and you'd think that if some bot was supposed to go through the training, ended up surviving either the fire or earthquake (Not sure which is true) then it would just resume as if its a normal day once the shaking or fires stopped.
I don't know how much water that theory could hold.
But there's one more idea I had. Before in Ruin it was discovered that a backpack had been left behind with Gregory's name on it. Clearly there have been repeated returns to the pizzaplex (allegedly) so maybe we are playing as Vanessa. She would know how to operate the systems. I can see her going back to make sure that the Glitchtrap virus was fully gone.
We also know that Gregory was able to get into the systems so maybe they hacked a staff Bot and are playing remotely?
Not to mention the dialogue eluding to us looking like we would have a kid.
At this point I don't think the game gives us enough clues to really be sure what is going on and who we are actually playing as. There's a supposed DLC attached to the files so until we cover more things I would say who we are playing as is up in the air. ---------------------- Vanny Virus
Glitchtrap is dead. He's gone. Vanny quite literally squashed him and now the new big bad virus is Vanny.
Nothing really substantial here just wanted to write this part down.
-------
Sun's personality
Am I the only one who didn't quite see him as an asshole? I swear everyone just equated being sassy with being an ass.
We know how he was with Gregory, he was very kind and playful at first. But since we are playing with a program meant for staff only I suspect he's just sassy with the employees.
I still love him.
-----
Okay I've ran out of steam with this one but yeah! Those are basically my thoughts. Again I'm not posting this to attack anyone for their ideas, I'm just sharing my own thoughts like everyone else.
Feel free to reply and discuss!

I like the idea of Therese and SJ reconnecting if the Revolution ended well.
I want Therese and Maximilien to meet and SJ to panic
Don't get me started with a joke post that’s actually my pet conspiracy theory that I like to ramble about!
Ok, so SJ and Therese didn’t have to wait for the Revolution to end to reconnect. According to SJ’s village, they totally did reconnect in summer 1793, when Therese left her husband and went to Paris to live in a hotel that was like 5-10 minutes away from SJ’s place.
There is no indication that they did meet in Paris, but we have a letter from SJ’s friend Thuillier informing him that the village believes that SJ had kidnapped her. Thuillier also gives SJ Therese’s address in Paris. To which SJ basically answered something along the lines of: “wtf? Tell everyone it’s rubbish, gotta go, very busy, bye”. Now, I believe SJ that he did not kidnap Therese, (especially not against her will, which were serious accusations; like Fabre was sentenced to death for that in the 1770s) but idk if I agree with historians who conclude that SJ’s reply proves that they absolutely, 100% did not meet in Paris.
The whole thing is just so weird, with too many coincidences to simply reject the possibility that they did meet. Plus, Therese was in Paris to meet SJ (I guess? Why else would she go there?) and I assume she’d make an effort to see him. And there’s also that later rambling from SJ about how “if a couple don’t have children after 7 years, they are to separate” (Therese left her husband exactly on the 7th anniversary of their marriage, and they didn’t have children). So yes, I totally believe that SJ and Therese met in Paris 1793.
There’s nothing indicating they were romantic* at this point, though - maybe he helped her as a friend (they did knew each other since they were kids, after all), and SJ talked so much about protecting women from unwanted marriages that I like to believe he’d help a friend. But as much as SJ/Therese super shipper Madeleine-Anna Charmelot would disagree, there is no proof that they were in a romantic/sexual relationship at this point.
*There are no indications of any romantic or sexual between them except, maybe, that SJ’s short story, but that one was prob written close to Thermidor and there’s zero proof it’s about Therese (was she in Paris at all at that point?) It’s more that people assume Therese because we only know of few people ever linked to SJ romantically.
(But if the short story was about Therese, it hints at not everything working well for them and her being reluctant to fully commit (to what? the story is unclear) and SJ losing it because he was ride or die for people/ideas and expected others to be, too).
I want Therese and Maximilien to meet and SJ to panic
I don't understand what you mean by this. Why, do you think that there is some chance that SJ was romantically
involved with Therese at this point? 😛

If you need sources for what is a form of argumentation for an idea which you don't believe is relevant I don't know what else I can really do here my guy.
Meat trick but I've already described the trick as deconceptualization so it doesn't really work out to try and use it on me. I am not deconceptualizing consensus I am disagreeing with its relevance to the scientific method. I place more value on repeat experiments, intellectual honesty, logically consistent proofs, and with most of all, the evidence of the academic work. You are necessarily placing it in the peer review.
See what I mean about standards if I didn't know what deconceptionalism meant that would actually work on me. But I do have a definition for it.
Oh look we have other forms of academic legitimacy. Here's another one, unbreached rationality. But that would mean accepting the importance of ideas.
Its almost like your ideology is and has a cancerous and corrosive effect on everything it touches.
Like consensus, like really think about it. Consensus is why the holders of miasma theory, fucking persecuted anyone even suggested things like washing your hands because it was something that did not belong to their ideology, not even to dissent with the theory, but to simply suggest something with logical evidence that was simply outside of it. Consensus is cancer and always has been a cancer to science.
This was by the way repeated when it came to nutritional diseases and then repeated again when it came to things like ulcers and then repeated again when it came to things like stress.
Consensus is something that can and should be subject to challenge from any and every level. Because that is the only way it can maintain its standards from which its authority is derived. And that is antithetical to the very kind of censorship you have put forward.
Oh no I mean the "fraudesters" had to admit it was a fraud in order to be discovered, they did so deliberately to show the lack of standards involved in getting published. They were scientists knew it was wrong, they knew the paper would uncritically publish it because of the ideology, like your own, that they held, and they did.
This was not a case of the trash taking itself out, this was scientists sounding the alarm, only for people like you who worship it, to refuse to listen.
It is referenced in Steven Hick's "explaining post modernism extended edition" you may find citations in the book itself among others.
Maybe talk to an actual academic sometime. I do, most of them in the humanities who aren't in your idelogical cult are shocked how many papers published are nothing but political propaganda. I don't mean, they have propaganda value, I mean they are just propaganda. Like the feminist version of mein kampf.
I'm actually giving my fellow man a great deal of credit I'm expecting them to be logically consistent with the ideas they believe. And their beliefs necessarily have the outcome that I am describing. What's more I give them enough credit to break with these ideas enough still continue to live. Because at a certain point the evidence of their own eyes is too great in comparison to the irrational beliefs they hold.
They are men who want to do good and right, but have been taught out of it. Maybe like yourself. Do you still want to be good? How badly?

Well said, the post wasn't about trans people, but about X person who's disgusting, shares inappropriate stuffs and behaviours, that happens to be trans. It's just gross how society is fucked up, if it was a cis person none will say a word, but if happens to be a LGBTQ+ person then everyone accuse and creates useless drama and justifications. I'm personally a LGBTQ+ member, yet I don't go parading my identity like some fucking special snowflake, it's just a small part of my identity but many other members of this community is centering all their whole personality around this only characteristic; it's so pathetic tbh. Nobody needs to know my (sexual) preferences, it should be a private thing, first of all to not expose kids to adults matters or ideologies, it's more harmful than informative. Also another point, as coping mechanisms, again I would use myself as example, I'm diagnosed with 2 personality disorders from Cluster B + other mental illness as comorbidities, following the popular troop I should be a pain the ass for other people and ruining theirs and mine life, and having uncontrollable fucked up impulses and fantasies. Meanwhile yes, it happens to have them, I keep them to myself without looking for a "community" or like-minded individuals, furthermore I don't give in this impulses nor I engage in harmful behaviours. E.g. Harmless coping mechanisms I usually engage is drinking and smoking, but I do this only at home, I don't want to promulgate my unhealthy behaviours to youth or other individuals. It's about self-control and being self-conscious. As an adult I must understand that I have the responsibility to be a model to others and the younger generation, despite my mental illness, sexuality or identity. Nowadays ppl have lost the sense of duty in regard to others, and live in the most epicurean way possible. To sum up, I totally agree with all your points and I guess that the anon is one of that special snowflakes that builds their whole personality around the LGBTQ+ characteristic(s) and has passive-aggressive behaviour whenever they sense a real or imaginary threat to their personality.
I totally agree on what you said too haha
I doesn't matter what one identifies as or what community they're are a part of, if one does stupid shit they need to be called out on it(and in this case there's actual proof of bs happening, so it's not pulled out of an ass, so no one is being accused for nothing or for just being...trans lol). Idk if the majority of the trans community think they can do/say whatever they want all the time, every time, that's not gonna happen and people will show that they can be in the wrong, like any living person. People won't be silent and that is good. No one is more special that anyone esle. Life is very hard, for everyone, and being a 'snowflake' isn't going to be benificial..for anyone.
Usually people who want to look for like-wise individuals in certain harmful behaviours, communities, they end up spiriling deeper down in a rabbit hole, even if it means "just to explore". Some things aren't mean to be explored idk best to leave alone, and like you said, have self-control, since that's the key to everything.
I'm very happy that you have this responsibility within you because you can hardly find that in others nowdays. Everyone just thinks for themselves and don't give 2flying fucks about anyone else yet expect to be treated as kings/queens, which is wrong. But what differes you from them is that you're an adult and most of these kids are jsut..kids. And we all know, whether people want to accept it or not, that kids are ran by emotions not logic. This is why these movements nowdays, especially in the US, are filled with aggression and hate towards anyone who disagrees because they're fueled by enotions and not logic..... And adults who participate in these hate-filled movements, well, they're just there for the $$$ and perhaps status. Which is very sad.
Also, anon, pls take care of yourself and stay vigilant. Thank you for your message. 🥀

i'm not saying that saying there isn't proof of Arceus's existence is a hate crime. i was referring to the "Science has no room for Gods" part. it's demeaning, and places "wanting knowledge of the universe we live in" and "having religious beliefs" as mutually exclusive.
basic goodness doesn't require religion, but it does give people a guideline to base their behavior on, and a reason to want to be good. humans are inherently neutral, and are taught goodness by the environment they live in. religion is just another facet of that.
the fact that you've never experienced any sort of desire to engage with the spiritual, and it seems like you're actively choosing to avoid the idea of it, doesn't make it wrong or stupid for others.
i'm sorry for my language, i truly don't enjoy hurling insults over the internet, just.. try to be a bit more considerate of others viewpoints when you post, since you never know who's reading it.
@fuji-pkmn-shelter
I stand by my words. Science is the study of that which exists. To learn more is the nature of science- To approach the truth. To say something was merely "the work of Arceus" or other such figures and then stop investigating goes against every fiber of my being.
"Humans are inherently neutral" is another point I strongly disagree with. Humans tend towards the good naturally. Regardless of everything, I truly believe that goodness exists in humans regardless of nature- In the argument of nature vs nurture, while nurture is important, the vast majority of humans have a nature that is fundamentally decent as well.
As for the rest... I am aware we are not friends, nor even close. I do not think we have spoken often. So I understand that you do not know me. But you are also misconstruing my words rather badly.
Do you truly think that I am nothing more than a 'cold, unfeeling asshole'? What I said was not that I have never desired to engage with the spiritual. I said that I have never felt it. Do you think I have never tried? Is it so hard to imagine that? No, of course not, because I have ever to everyone been nothing but an unfeeling robot of a person, barely qualified as human. I have tried to find this spiritual feeling you and others speak of, and nothing comes of it. I have tried to feel community, and nothing comes of it. And when I ask for logical consistency in the tales and myths, I am once again an outcast.
So, very well. I will be the robot without emotions, unable to feel this "grace of the Creator" I hear of, since that has apparently been decided without my input. I only believe in that which I can see, feel, and understand myself. How else am I to interact with a world that denies my every experience?

SIMBLR CANNOT STAY SILENT ANY LONGER ABOUT BULLIES.
TW: suicide/self harm below the gif
The TRANS MAN (Bucky) that Cowbuild misgendered and deadnamed....who Cowbuild has continually insisted is me, and doesn't exist. [When there is PLENTY of evidence otherwise] has been constantly harrassed by anon haters since coming out and speaking his part about how Cowbuild abused him. Because it IS abuse. Bucky was vulnerable with the community and spoke openly about having a very rare disease that makes him vulnerable to wanting to hurt themselves. He shared how Cowbuild's words DEEPLY affected him. He shared how he wants Cowbuild to remove the transphobic and hateful comments. And he stood up against his bully and abuser. Then, he comes to this community, a community he thinks will understand what he has gone through, and he makes a simple request for help using a gofundme in relation to two sick puppies. He offers, the ENTIRE TIME to provide proof if needed, and tells people they don't have to give if they don't want to. One of his puppies ends up passing away, which is a heartbreaking thing for any pet owner to go through. Again, he offers proof of this.
Instead of understanding, he gets CONSTANT hateful comments in his ask box, with people using anons and burner accounts. People accusing him of trying to scam for money using a fake story. And even people telling him to hurt himself, and suggesting ways to take his life. All while simblr was silent.
This is the lowest the community has ever come. I have been reblogging, and tagging, and screaming and trying to get people to listen and only a few people have had the nerve to remotely say anything. I am making this post hoping it's becauase people don't understand the situation, rather than they don't care because it doesn't "effect" them. The most recent post on bucky's (@victimofcowbuild's) tumblr is written by his husband. Because Bucky cannot post at the moment. Because they attempted to harm themselves last night and are not mentally able to handle being on tumblr. I am not going to go into the details of WHAT happened, but I do want simblr to know that between all of the anon hate, and people not speaking up and telling the bullies to stop it this is the result. The breaking point came when someone decided to circumvent Bucky's ask box and send an ask to @littleblackbooksims calling Bucky a scammer. Bucky then posted a screenshot of their vet bill, leaving the name of the vet uncensored. Telling people they could call the vet's office and confirm if a dog with the name "Fleetwood" was treated there. I have confirmation from Bucky's husband that the vet's office was spammed with harrassing calls. The vet's office has record of this, and is keeing record of it. Bucky's husband also allowed us [bucky's friends] to make statements trying to raise awareness in the community as long as we were respectful. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THESE ANON ACCOUNTS AND ASKS THAT HAVE BEEN PESTERING BUCKY ARE PART OF THE PRO-PAYWALL MAFIA GROUP THAT WE EXPOSED. 1) Because Bucky did not receive anon hate until he started calling out Cowbuild and sharing his story. 2) Because some of these SAME accounts that have been circumventing anon asks being turned off are the same accounts that tried to blackmail me and bully me when I spoke out. They have been harrassing me for a while now. 3) Because this is the M.O of the paywalling side of the argument. I have been dealing with anon/sock account shit for almost 2 years now.
I AM BEGGING YOU SIMBLR, PLEASE REBLOG AND SHARE THIS. LET THE COMMUNITY KNOW THAT THIS IS NOT OKAY. THIS IS NO LONGER PAYWALLS VS NO PAYWALLS. THIS IS NOT CREATOR VS CONSUMER. THIS IS NOT ALPHA VS MAXIS. THIS IS NOT POINTLESS DRAMA. THIS IS SOMEONE'S LIFE ALMOST ENDING BECAUSE TOXIC ASS PEOPLE IN THE COMMUNITY DECIDED TO HIDE BEHIND ANON ASKS AND SOCK ACCOUNTS AND BULLY THEM.
You can hate me and what I stand for, you can not care about CC, you can think simblr drama is fucking pointless. But this is not drama. This is someone's life being put in danger because of fucking internet bullies. And we need to put a stop to it and show support and awareness. Please. You can disagree with everything else I say and STILL show support for Bucky. I am going to put screenshots of some of the comments that were directed at Bucky below the warning gif below. Some screenshots bucky shared with myself and others, others are screenshots from friends, a few are my own. Please do NOT view them if you could be triggered. For your own mental health.

HSMTMTS S3 EP2 : Into The Unknown
This episode was great!! I don't even know where to begin!
I think I will begin with Gina: yes she reminds me of her old self, but with a change, I don't disagree with Kourtney and Ashlyn, but I don't totally agree! Gina wants to shine, she wants to have the first role, and it's her time! She wasn't Gabriella nor Belle, but now she really wants to be Anna (or Elsa, she's the first role too). A part is because of the documentary, but another part is for her, she wants to prove to herself that she can do it!
I absolutely loved the two girls who were Gina's fan, and I really hope that someone will talk to them after what happened to the audition because I feel like one of them will have a good role while the other don't... I mean, Ash and Kourt saw that scene, they could have said something...
I really liked the way Gina looked at Ricky in the audition, I know people will freak out and pointed like "see Rina is endgame", but for me, Gina was like a proud mom/friend. She is the one that pushed Ricky in the first season, she just wanted him to realize he have talent and that he was born to be on stage!
About Ricky now, I liked the conversation he had with Gina, it was akward but I'm happy they decided to forget everything that happened! They are just friends and now the air is clear!
I absolutely love what Carlos said to him in the bed, that line about the fact that he always come unprepared and has the role because he is talented can't be a thing in Camp. This is not Miss Jen, and he needs to understand that he can't do this anymore.
But when he came late in this ski suit, I laughed so hard. Yes he was shown with it in the trailer, but the way he entered and Carlos said it was tradition... Epic 😂
What I also love in this episode is what happened with Jet: yes he has some attitude problems but his voice was so great!! And Ricky making a comparison with him, was cool to see!
I also really like the sort of conversation they had, because since the trailer I already ship them. I mean Ricky is definitely bi, the way he ask what were the relationship between Hans and Kristoff by saying "lovers?", is another proof to that.
About the other campers: I need to see more of Val before having a real opinion, but I don't like how everyone is saying she will make Portwell break up... I didn't feel this vibe from her, she was just happy to her friend! And I liked that she asked about Nini, because it's obviously a thing you will ask your friend if one year he is with a girl, and next year with another!
I liked that Gina was the one who said that Maddox was nice and just wanted everyone to be friend! I definitely could relate to what Maddox said about not having a lot friends because she doesn't know how to be with people! And I don't think that the last scene was a bad thing like they want us to think! It's just another weird tradition! And if Maddox is a witch, then it would be cool! I really want to see a good representation of modern witches!
Anyway, go back to the campers: I don't really know what Carlos changed, but I have a feeling it's not the final cast list just a draft! Val wouldn't have left the real list here, right?
About EJ's, I loved the Portwell scenes, the beginning, and the scene were he said to Gina that their couple was the only thing he was sure about!! I liked seeing him stressed because he was always this super confident guy, and seeing him freak out for once was great! Plus, anyone else wouldn't be able to be a director for a show like that... He's still a high schooler!
Now, let's talk about Nini in LA. I didn't expect at all that Jesse Tyler Ferguson would play the "father" (I don't want to say sperm donor because it's kinda a thing you said to a father who isn't great... Plus, he tried to be a father to Nini, and it was nice). I liked learning more about Nini's family, her moms weren't really shown in the series so far! Plus, this meeting inspired her a new song !
Speaking about the songs, I will first talk about Gina's : it was great, I really like the dancing, the lyrics really shown that she is determinate! But I must say that it didn't resonate with me, like "A Dancer's Heart", that song was so good that I was kinda hopping this new song to be as good... But it was still great !!
The audition songs were great, I love that everyone shine, their voices were great, and I don't want to be at Val's place because I couldn't even said who was better!
Jet impressed me, he had such a great voice, and Ashlyn joining him at the piano was nice!! I really loved how everyone was genuinely happy that he was this good, when he is a concurrent! At first I thought he could be Hans, but I don't know if it will be fair, knowing he didn't read any text... 🤔
And then, there's Nini's song. It was sooo good! I'm very happy to hear a song that isn't sad, it was full of hopes for this summer, and it's all I wish to Nini: to have a great summer! Definitely my favorite of the episode!!

Man Only now did I realize that because of Lance the crystal was not only one time in danger but two times!😭 If only he could have not destroyed the crystal 8 years before nothing of this would have happened. And we have to fix his bullshit those two times? By sacrificing ourselves??? 😂😭 I need to hit him even harder or make a petition to HH so he can be the new sacrifice 😈😈😈
Well, yes. A fair point. He can definitely be blamed. I'll not jump to his defense and tell you he isn't, even if I've always been on his side.
I don't think anyone should sacrifice anything. You know, we don't just harvest every healthy organ from fresh corpses if the person didn't give consent when they were alive. By pressuring them to give up their body and life, they granted Erika and Leiftan less bodily autonomy than what we give to a lifeless body. I'm not sure how it happened exactly, I didn't have it in me to finish the last episode, but I know that this is some serious monkey business.
Lance might be a nutcase sociopath with every last one of his screws lose, but he still has the right to decide if he wants that. Eldarya was never supposed to exist, it was born of hatred and cruelty and it was destined to fail right from the start, he knows that and he was trying to rip the bandaid off to get it over with.
The fae may claim whatever reason they want for why it was necessary, but that will never make it be worth it. It's not the aengels fault that their food is inedible, they had the right to not die. The fact that they were massacred by the fae is proof to me that humans were never the problem. These pieces of shit, entitled bastards doomed their descendants to a slow and painful extinction in a world that's botched beyond words. They teach it in schools that the humans were hateful and hostile, they say that's why they left, but who's really the problem if they're willing to do the exact same thing to the aengels? This is a clean cut textbook example of hypocrisy.
On a smaller scale, it's like having a drunk guy flirt with you and asking you to go home with him, but when you say no he assaults you. He took what he wanted anyway, even if you had the right to refuse.
Lance is not very nice, but he's definitely a good person. He does his thing and let's others do theirs unless it's his business to mind. He has some less than ideal methods but in the end he just wants to make everything right. What he thinks is right, at least.
Isn't that what everyone is doing? Well, some people want what's best for themselves and they step on others, but clearly our main characters are not like that. (some might be) Miiko did what she could to stop him because she sincerely believed that the crystal is their lifeline and she thinks that the best thing is to keep on living. They disagreed, they thought each other to be equally wrong, yet only one of them was condemned. She was unfit to lead, she should have gotten more help but for some reason she was the only person good enough. Apparently only rich people are allowed to lead the light guard. It's a wholesale size can of worms that I shouldn't open, let's talk about something else...
Erika us not that smart. She doesn't know how to read between the lines and doesn't see below the surface. She's attached to the guard because she doesn't know any better, she was never exposed to anything but the guidance of her inadequate leaders and of men who have no business getting into a relationship with their employee. They call her weak, they treat her like a child, they control her life completely, and yet she's equal enough to them to give consent? Weirdos. It's perverted, honestly.
They groomed her to think what they do is the only right thing and she gave up everything she had to please them. Somehow whenever she questioned them she could be coaxed back into their arms and made to forget it ever happened. She's a victim, and now that Lance works for the guard, he's just as gaslit as her.
The guard of El is a cult that manipulates it's members. They play with innocent lives like they have the right and they only allow people of high class to become their leaders.
Eldarya is unsustainable. Everything that's meant to be can sustain itself by nature, if this world is only kept alive artificially then it's time to take it off life support. It's not anyone's fault that it's dying, especially not Lance's.
If I may refer to Fullmetal alchemist, let me just say that this abomination of a world is like that thing Ed and Alf created when they tried to resurrect their mother.
It was never going to live, it's every moment is agony, let it die.
I know I said I won't jump to his defense, yet I did. Oops. He might seem like a vigilantee, but think about it. What makes him any less worthy to take action than the guard? Nothing. The guard is exactly like him and his army, but lead by leashes instead by good reason.
Anyway, moral of the story is: Don't complain when you get arrested after violating someone's consent. You're not the victim, you asshole.
