Does the rest of the world know sticks exist??

In AvA 2 Alan asks his friend for help after TCO goes rouge

It seems that

1 Alive stick figures existing is normal, atleast to alan and his friend

2 What theyre named establishes how powerful they are, their ‘level’

3 Stick figures attacking back is not uncommon

also what does he mean by “That guy”????

By in AvA 3, it’s now established that Alan is not special in his ability to create drawn stick figures, other animators and graphic designers are able to create them and likely are as informed on sticks as Alan is

It talks about how the world has been uninformed about the slavery of sticks but still doesn’t help determine how much the world knows about just the existence of them

The fact that the page was one of the top results and how casually alan talks about his drawing coming to life it seems that, atleast from 2006-2010s, most internet users likely know that drawn stick figures are exist in some capacity

In AvA 4 Alan is surprised by the fact that TSC can talk, before then most people probably assumed that sticks were the equivalent to shimejis or desktop pets, especially considering Alan’s previous treatment of … all of his sticks and the fact the stick slavery page even had to exist

Even after this he probably still doesn’t see them as fully sentient until after he gets to spend more time with them, considering the whole ‘i’ll let you live if you do something for me’

In AvM 9, Purple is shown living on someone’s mac, it’s very obviously taken over yet the owner is out of the picture and never shown, the mac was probably left on or abandoned since it’s unlikely that Purple would’ve been able to just .. convince some random person to let them take over their computer

In AvM 24 we for the first time actually get to see someone else interact with stick figures, his first reaction is to pull out a bow and then sword

It’s unsure whether this reaction was that of ‘why are there stick figures in minecraft?’ or ‘what are those things’

By this point, sticks existing within their own creators pcs should be known, if not slightly forgotten by time due to most sticks now living in the outernet, but if it’s the latter, then sticks were just a dated thing of the past and people have forgotten they exist

(As a side thing, even in the past people probably only knew of drawn stick figures and not of the outernet and stuff, like when Grace uploaded Mitsi she probably didn’t think Mitsi would come alive)

In the influencer arc we never get to see the in universe comments, so unclear if the general reaction would’ve been ‘who gave this stick a phone’ or ‘cool animation man, looks almost real’

In AvM 36, the most recent episode, the cg start going viral due to CHEATING in bedwars and we finally get to see a actual reaction

2 Confusion on why there are sticks in hypixel, this could be due to sticks being known only to stick to their creators desktop, or that their confused on what a stick even is (purpled’s and cromn7’s comments seems to suggest the second)

3 People keep calling hacks, and that the sticks are cheating, either because the sticks aren’t playing the game right (CUS THEY ARENT.) or that their accusing them of hacking in a stick figure model in the first place

2 people don’t know what these things are and this is the first time they’ve seen a alive stickman, sticks are a long forgotten thing of the old internet

Yandere story idea #65

A yandere fantasy or mythical creature who acts like a golem or your personal bodyguard.

Because...well, in a dystopian fantasy world where humans, animales or creatures of all kinds were gente or good and hostile or evil, a yandere golem is perfect for you.

My concept of a golem is based on the Minecraft iron golem, I must admit: however, my universe is not necessarily set in minecraft. This golem or yandere guardian would obviously be taller and stronger than you; its body can be made of stone, wood, metal or any super resistant material (and even a combination of all of these, with some magic if you wish).

Here are some qualities of my character:

It cannot speak because it has no vocal cords or muscles to do so, but it could do so through body gestures, some sign language, or through looks and some other source of sound. At first he would be like a small child discovering everything, committing some clumsiness to impress you, but when it comes to defending you he would not hesitate to kill whoever is in front of him.

He would not touch you without permission because he could not bear to see you hurt. He knows how strong you are and would be afraid to hurt you or tear you apart unintentionally.

He lowers his head in repentance when you scold him.

It helps you with heavy work, carrying things, and even cleaning.

He won't let ANYONE near you. He thinks that everyone wants to hurt you, and that is enough to see everyone else as his enemy.

He ADORES being repaired by you.

He would follow you everywhere you go, even if you don't want to.

He may not be able to talk, but he knows how to listen to everything you say. He has excellent hearing.

And if you want to, an excellent memory.

He doesn't need to sleep, so he would keep watching you all night.

If he were to do you harm, it would be by accident, but not by malice, or he would not do it on purpose.

Walking past him, people would be afraid to even look at you.

Now, there will be a point at which you will sadly die and thus leave it alone forever, so eventually the golem will become neglected in appearance, looking increasingly neglected and damaged. In a way to console itself for not having you, it will kidnap girls who are physically similar to you (or whoever its old owner was) and when it crosses paths with you, it kidnaps you into some sort of forest so that you can't leave it alone again.

So, imagine this:

You needed help to protect yourself from your enemies or dangerous people, so you create the Golem/ bodyguard with whatever magic or other kind of things you want.

You gave him a name, and you since then you have taught him everything he knows today.

You had to be very patient with him, as he was like a small child/toddler.

He becomes your magical bodyguard. He defends you from danger, helps you in whatever you need, listens to you and takes care of you. He makes sure you are well, that you eat and don't overwork yourself.

Since it has no stomach, it has no need to eat. It regenerates itself with the damage repairs you make to its body, which is a detail of yours that it loves.

However, he cared a lot about you. He hunted super-dangerous animals, helped you bring down fruit from very tall trees and tried to take care of you as best he knew how, even though he didn't know medicine.

It spies on you while you sleep.

He would be able to beat to death anyone he sees approaching you.

What terrifies and hurts him the most is that you are afraid of him, that you tell him that you hate him or that he is a monster, since you are the most important thing in his life.

He would never want to hurt you, so why do you think he is so afraid to even hug you? He once stepped on your toes unintentionally and broke them; ever since then he has been insanely terrified of hurting you directly.

Like the iron golem in Minecraft, he's used to giving you flowers of all kinds from time to time.

He would NEVER part with you.

However, if you disappear... he will start looking for you like crazy everywhere.

Panic and anxiety in level 100000...%.

He would become desperate and paranoid in just 2 seconds.

If he could speak, he would cry/scream out your name desperately. In a dystopian fantasy world there are all kinds of dangers and he knows it.

Your yandere golem/bodyguard would look for you EVERYWHERE.

If you return to his side, your yandere golem/bodyguard will be extremely happy.

If you will die or leave his side for good, he will become a wild beast and will be able to cause a massacre. This would be further reinforced if you were killed, since for your yandere golem/bodyguard everyone is evil but you.

Because of your death, I would murder anyone who comes near your old domain. He would kidnap girls/boys who look like you and force them to let themselves be taken care of under his overprotection as he does not want to lose you again.

Yes, i like the concept of a monster who is cute, silly or innocent mixed with a very strong, paranoid and over protective creature, specially if they are yanderes.

i didnt catch all the questions as i was writing as it was going (also english is not my first language so some things slipped, sorry about that)

Q: Where was Alan in Animation vs Minecraft? A: The whole 3 seasons happened in like 4 hours and Alan isnt on his computer 24/7 so he probably was in another room or working on a laptop and leaving the sticks to their shenanigans

Q: how did Purple ended up in the mac with the villagers? A: in Alan's mind: since he came out of a thumbnail in 2011 he had like 7-8 years to live and learn. Somewhere in the journey he found a mac, minecraft, and made his little village

Q: is Animation vs Education canon in AvA/M? A: AvE was made to educate and trying to make it fit with AvA/M wouldnt make sense. it could be an alternative universe or a dream

Q: is The Dark Lord gonna come back? Alan: do you want him to come back? chat: YES (they already made a desicion. Alan: "You will see in an upcoming video")

Q: Who made stickfight.com? A: Giving how stickfigures work in the universe, some animator made them and thats how they became to be

Q: Would they be Hatsune Miku fans? A: They get obssesed with things easy so everyone would be Hatsune Miku fans. Alan says Red maybe more than the other (Skim says Yellow)

if the series keeps going Alan thinks that they might need to focus on another characters cuz there would be nothing more to tell about the main characters

Q: What would their voices sound like? A: Alan personally doesnt think they have voices (tho he say they have kinda telepathic communication) text in influencer arc is like them translating for us :o

you and jungwon have been dating for quite awhile now, definitely longer than anyone thought you would. it wasn’t a fault to either of you, you were both busy all the time. when you had quiet moments with him like this, you cherished it. every second with him felt like you were floating. every soft breath you heard next to you, every small chuckle that fell from his lips, this was your own personal heaven on earth. you watched him scroll through his phone, probably on tiktok. you watched his reactions and how his teeth would peek out sometimes when he found something funny. he felt your eyes on him and so jungwon looked up at you. “y/n?” “hmm?” you smiled at him, getting up to walk over and sit next to him. “do you think we love eachother in every universe?” jungwon’s voice was quiet, your heart was screaming. “i do… i really do….”

heeseung- wet hands

when you first met heeseung, you thought he was exactly like his stage presence. so safe to say you steered clear of him. for months… little did you know he was secretly pining after you. he’d ask around about you, try to befriend your friends, it was honestly scaring him how much he just wanted to talk to you. when he finally did, you realized that his stage persona was kinda bologna. heeseung was a grade A dork who didn’t know how to speak to someone at all. it was the perfect example of he fell first but she fell harder. you ended up falling hard for heeseung. everything about him, even his stage presence. you stood by the door of your abode, heeseung’s uber was here and he had to head back to the dorms. it would be the last night you’d see him for a month. heeseung walked up to you and buried his head in your neck as he hugged you. “i’m going to miss you…” he mumbled, you smiled into his shoulder. “i know… you’ll be back home soon though..” heeseung pulled away and put his hat on you, his favorite beanie. “i love you.” you smiled up at him, adjusting the hat. “i love you more.” he was stalling, he really didn’t want to leave “i love you in every universe.” that made heeseung’s jaw drop. then he smiled at you. softly leaning in he kissed you like he never wanted to leave your side.

yours and jay’s relationship was grounded pretty quickly. you both knew what you wanted in this relationship and you both communicated that very well. when he was off work, you’d dance late at night in the kitchen, go on shopping trips, everything. you both were practically married mentally. one thing that a lot of people were not aware of, was that you’d go with them to different countries. mostly everyone just saw you as staff. so you got to tag along. it was a night in france and everyone had gone to sleep, jet lag hit you both and neither of you could join your friends in slumber. you and jay sat on the balcony sipping wine and watched as the city wound down. “all those people have separate lives than us…” you spoke softly, people watching. jay sipped his glass and set it down, “it’s crazy to think huh?” you looked at him, “it really is… i just hope they find as great of love as we have. although that would be difficult wouldn’t it?” you we’re tipsy and were sure hard to understand but jay understood you. “it would… because i love you in every universe.”

ever since you were young you were infatuated with romance movies. you always wanted your life to be one, you yearned for it. yet as you were growing up, you had terrible luck. so at some point… you just stopped looking. you let life rule you, and it was mundane and almost depressing. that was until someone spilled his entire hot ramen on you at 2am on a curb. jake apologized profusely and even took you to an urgent care, just to make sure you weren’t burned too badly. you weren’t mad at all in the slightest. he was charming in a way, and in your mind, the universe threw someone at you finally. to you, it was love at first sight. unbeknownst to you, it was for jake aswell. you didn’t find out about his work until you asked for his instagram and saw this barren sketchy account, when you asked, he broke down and told you everything. expecting you to be mad and to never want to talk to him again. you just smiled, you weren’t mad at all. you were just thankful to be around him. one night, something really bad happened. it caused you to spiral and not pay attention to anything. you ended up getting hurt and taking another trip to urgent care, which they immediately sent you to a hospital. you spent the night there, exhausted and not thinking. when jake finally got back in the country he was made aware of what happened and immediately rushed to you. instead of talking to the doctors and asking your state, he immediately jumped to conclusions and thought you were in a coma or something. he ended up at your side professing everything he had been too scared to tell you. “y/n i’ve always been in love with you ever since i met you. anytime i’m around you it feels right like my soul is at peace. i think- no i know… im meant to love you in every universe…” you were starting to wake up and you looked at him, “when did you get back?” you were dazed and kind of drugged up. “Y/N!” jakes eyes lit up as he looked at you and your eyes that were now open.

sunghoon felt doomed. everything he did he felt he had to be perfect at. everything was a test to him. everything that represented him HAD to be perfect. he was caught in a loop. until he met you you were the opposite, things didn’t have to be perfect for you. if things were perfect then they could get ruined at any second. why would anyone want that constant fear? definitely not you. when you worked at a retail store sunghoon frequented, he didn’t pay attention to you at all. that was until he needed help with a clothing opinion. after that day you both hit it off. which led to sunghoon falling for your laugh and your urge to be outside of the box weird. your first date was NOT perfect, but sunghoon loved it anyways... you looked at the spill in your kitchen and started laughing, coffee splattered the cabinets and dripped off the countertop. sunghoon hearing you immediately rushed in, your mug broke aswell. your favorite mug. “my love what happened?” you were holding your stomach in laughter, “i broke it! i wasn’t looking where i was setting it!” you died down a bit and looked at the pieces, “i should go make a new mug next week.” you crouched down and sunghoon followed your lead, helping you clean up. he felt his heart smile, you being clumsy, and not perfect in the slightest made him love you. you taught him that things don’t have to be perfect to love. all that mattered to him was you being yourself. “do you think i’m clumsy in every universe?” you nudged him after cleaning. sunghoon chuckled, “i don’t know… but i do know i love you in every universe.”

you were never overly confident in yourself. always picking apart insecurities and sighing everytime you saw a mirror. your appearance and how people saw you stressed you out heavily. that only got worse when you met sunoo. sunoo was absolutely perfect in your eyes, even his “flaws” that other people said he had, you didn’t see. you loved him for who he was. his smile, the way he’d laugh. everything. when he confessed to you, safe to say you were in shock. it scared you a bit, as your confidence was being tested. you both had a couple months of dating and you still couldn’t help but ask him. “are you sure….?” sunoo looked at you funny and tilted his head to the side, “of course i’m sure. i’ve always liked you.” sunoo rolled over and pulled you closer to him, “i’ve always thought you were perfect for me. every part of you.” he whispered. your eyes welded up with tears and you covered your face, “i don’t know sometimes i just don’t feel like i’m deserving of that.” sunoo’s face dropped, “baby… you are… in fact in every universe you are deserving of love. i’m grateful that it’s my love to give you. if anything i don’t deserve that honor…” you looked up at him, “you promise?” he pecked your lips softly and nodded, “i promise.”

the way you met riki was embarrassing, severely embarrassing. a few months prior you went to a fansign and then next thing you knew you were stood frozen in front of him at a bookstore. “i recognize you.” he chuckled to himself, then walked away. after that instance, your paths would cross more often than not. at some point he assumed you were stalking him, until he started showing up to places you were already at. then he felt weird because what if he was stalking you accidentally? “give me your phone… please…” he shuffled awkwardly in front of you. you handed it over almost instantly and that’s how you both started showing up to places together. instead of being freaked out by the other one. after that day you were inseparable. you would bring food and water to him during late night practices. and soon the relationship grew into more, and he would look forward to your visits to his workplace. he was proud to say his girlfriend was coming over to take care of him. one night you were headed over, you couldn’t sleep and riki gave you the okay to come over. your bag was filled with snacks and drinks for him. you knew he was always too hard on himself and sometimes it hurt your heart to see him like that. you can imagine the feeling in your stomach when you walked into the practice room to him with his head in his hands leaned against the wall. you shut the door quickly and rushed over. sliding to sit next to him. “hey…” you mumbled putting your hand on his shoulder. riki immediately caved and hugged you. trying to calm himself down. “stressed?” all he did was nod. you took a deep breath and rubbed his back softly, “i’m really proud of you yaknow… i think that what you’ve accomplished in such a short span of time is incredible….” you noticed his breathing started to become more normal so you continued, “i’m really proud to say i love you. and i’m really proud to say that i love you in every universe.” your hands went to his hair, once again trying to calm him down. “i love you too…” he mumbled, “also in every universe…”

A Minecraft Movie Trailer Dive

Alright!! I have a hard time talking about things in a more real? manner like this but I feel like it's important to be honest and share thoughts.

So the Minecraft movie trailer is a trailer that exists and it's incredibly upsetting to say the least. i had always had hopes of it being entirely animated and be a sort fo film version of Minecraft: Story Mode but it's clearly not that at all. It's a shame too, it's incredibly disappointing to know it's live action as I am a HUGE advocate for animated movies and blockbusters and such. I think Minecraft is a game that is so fantastical and developed and normalized within it's own plane of existence that trying to translate it as anything other than an animated movie fundamentally goes against what the game is supposed to be.

Minecraft is creativity incarnate. It is a canvas for you to do quite literally anything with. And i think turning it into a pathetic cash grab live action movie is about as hard away as you can get from it's core values. You lazily slap real people to into the game to mock and laugh at and disrupt the flow of it's own universe. Treating this game as if it is nothing but a child' plaything despite the fact that people of any age can play it and find joy and excitement. I think the jokes and the overall childish view of the game is disgusting I think it belittles it, I think Minecraft as a whole, encourages all ages and helps develop personal understanding of the world around us and our own ideals. Maybe we'd like to build a large house, go on, here are hundreds of blocks to choose from! Loads of colors, be free!!! Perhaps you'd like to calm down and play with friends or even challenge yourselves, go on with multiplayer! There's servers and achievements!!! There's plenty of things to do. And I think one of the most important things is that, none of this is wrong or weird. None of this is an incorrect way of playing, nothing you do is bad. This isn't supposed to be humbling this isn't supposed to be stressful or something to laugh at. Your desires and plans are valid.

Perhaps as an autistic individual myself, I find that so comforting. I understand it's just a movie, but it's a movie that fundamentally gets everything wrong about this lovely game. I don't understand how these trailers and jokes and plot points are treated as if it's okay to be bad if it's for children. It's saddening.

Either way, moving onto a different subject that I have much more knowledge about and care too much of, the Piglins.

This trailer shows off that Piglins are meant to be the main antagonists, as well as the The Seer having a role in the plot. I have many problems with this, and I will be discussing this through the lens of my own experiences, especially as it comes to my race. (I am latino for those who don't know)

First things first, no, the Piglins aren't evil by any means. I know a lot of media has a very black and white view of them but honestly, take a moment to think about this.

Piglins are minding their business, having fun, living their lives, when a bunch of explorers come barging into their home, exploiting them for their willingness to barter, stealing their valuables right from their houses, and on top of that, being killed and hurt because they dare fight back and attempt to protect one another.

To me, it's incredibly disheartening to see Piglins being portrayed as some kind of aggressors, savages and barbaric monsters all because they want to protect their way of life. I don't understand how emotionless people seem to act toward them. They aren't even physically accurate to the game models. They wear clothes, they use tools, they talk amongst themselves. It's very disgusting to see how this group that is CLEARLY INTELLIGENT BTW (they make music, tools, clothes, armor, buildings, homes and have a complex social system) being drawn and shown in less clothes, more violent tendencies, a more destroyed home and life, even showing violence among themselves to portray them as anything other than the interesting and complex species they are.

I'm just tired of the racist undertones that most Piglin plots seem to have. I find it insulting to them, i find it concerning regarding the language used. 'barbaric' 'crude' 'savage'

now that we’re 5 years out from the inception of the dsmp and a couple years? from its ending? i guess? (it well never end to me but im insane) i really want to talk about the audience’s response to tommy’s character and how it reflects both in-canon views of him and a phenomenon i’ve noticed at large.

a big reason i latched onto ctommy so early on was him not being the “ideal victim”, something people have talked about in the past ofc, but i wanted to talk about the specifics of that. there are characters who go through trauma and come out worse off, who lash out, who brood or are mean or flawed, and tommy had that as well, but i think the biggest thing both in universe and out, was that ctommy was ANNOYING. from the beginning he was loud and disruptive and rude. he would grief and steal and fight and just be a pain in the ass

and to many, being annoying is a far greater crime than being “flawed” in any other way. people like a brooding mean man who’s cruel because of his dark traumatizing backstory, you literally can’t escape those kinds of characters, but a character who’s just genuinely fucking annoying? people want those guys dead.

there was a popular tumblr post i still remember that was something along the lines of “a character can be a murderer but they can’t be annoying” and i never vibed with that but i do get where the sentiment comes from. from a purely entertainment perspective, it’s way more enjoyable to watch a villain than a character who you just want to shut up, i get that.

but what’s so interesting to me is the people who watched the dsmp and didn’t like ctommy because he was annoying were reacting the same way characters in universe reacted to ctommy.

i always go back to his death, or rather the characters’ reactions to learning he was dead. post prison-death, people celebrated, people cheered, and they had never done that before when a character had died.

(take this with a grain of salt because im not gonna rewatch hundreds of hours of minecraft livestreams to verify this, just take my dsmp-obsessed word for it)

when schlatt died, kinda the original and archetypal villain of the dsmp that all others would either emulate or at least reference, there was that moment where quackity was glad he was dead and ate his heart, but i don’t remember a wide spread cheering-in-the-streets kind of response, at least beside that initial “omg yay we won the war”

when wilbur died, he was much more complex than schlatt as a villain, but he very much terrorized people during his descent in pogtopia, and blew up the country they just fought a war for. yet there was no cheering at his death either.

but tommy, the annoying ass kid who griefed people’s homes and started little fights and was loud and rude, when he died? MULTIPLE people celebrated

and this isn’t a condemnation of that, i think we’re far enough out from the dsmp to not have to moralize these characters all over again, i just find it fascinating

because that’s a response i’ve seen many times before, to many different medias, and in real life as well. being annoying or cringey is a far greater crime than being cruel or violent

during the height of the dsmp, there was a very large group of viewers who HATED ctommy, and i’m sure there are still a few but i (luckily) never see them. and this wasn’t just one group, it was fans of all different characters who watched all different povs, and still so many people hated his character. and i think that’s an interesting reflection of the in-universe viewpoint of many characters. characters who had either bad faith or incomplete views on him who just saw a nuisance and a problem that was finally gone when he died, instead of an incredibly complex, loving, and hopeful character, subjected to abuse at the hands of multiple adults, charged with his safety

ctommy is a loud, annoying, at times painfully unfunny teenager, which to me makes his story hit so much harder. he’s not a sweet cherubic boy who never did nothin to nobody and was whumped by the narrative, he was a realistic teenager who was subjected to abuse and trauma, and not once did he deserve it

(no matter what those cdream apologists used to say back in the day)

the crime of being annoying is an interesting one, and one every single person is certainly guilty of

Wild Life Fanfic

Hi! This is a story that's rattled around in my brain for the last couple weeks. Before you read, there are a few things to note.

On breaks and in-between sessions, the server is turned to peaceful, all cameras are shut off, and wild cards are deactivated. This is to preserve food and lives. Any lives lost during these times are restored back to the player before the session begins/continues.

Pearl has L.I.M.S. (Lag Induced Muscle Spasms) I seen a post by @hermitcraftheadcanons and they talked about how lag is an illness and how Aussie ping could be like a chronic illness in the Minecraft universe. I took this and ran with it.

These are in fact the characters not content creators. The characters are staying in their Traffic personas during recording but being themselves off camera. This will make more sense as you read.

Nothing happens if they do go out of character, but because the sessions are timed, they need to get as much usable footage as possible.

Enough of the author rambles! Onto the story!

“So, you two have been going around, mildly making people our enemies and neither of you two are on red yet!” Scott scolds to the two mischief makers in front of him. Pearl rolls her head back, tuning out her teammate’s voice. The session had already been rough for her and now they have a fight to deal with.

“I’m close enough to red to warrant some mischief, and it’s not like everyone’s gonna stay allied to the end anyways.” Pearl states, silently wishing their comms would go off alerting them of the break, until then, they needed to remain in character.

“Still though, we don’t want to be making mo-” Cleo starts before freezing. Pearl mentally readies herself for the onslaught of pain she was about to endure.

“-more enemies.” They finish once the lag spike passes. Pearl leans onto the sheep fence as a sharp stabbing pain shot through her abdomen. Cleo lifts a hand from her hip, before placing it back. Good. Stay in character.

“We’re friends with literally most, if not half, the server. I-I’m sure we can do with some enemies.” The Aussie defends checking the time. Two minutes till break.

“Pearl, making enemies is how we die! And with the wild cards, who knows what kind of things they can do to us!”

“You worry to mu—” Pearl’s voice caught in her throat. Another spike. A sharper pain now.

“Much, Scott.” She finishes, now gripping onto the fence, her nails digging into the wood. A moment of concern flashes into Scott’s eyes before he blinks it away. Stay. In. Character.

“I worry just enough, and I don’t want you two putting our team in danger. We can do that when we all get to red.”

“But Scott, it’s been going so well!” Impulse finally chimes in, “Get one here. Get one there, and little by little we get to the end.”

“Yeah, then we have to fight each other.” Cleo brings up as Pearl looks back at the clock. One minute.

“Not like you haven’t killed your teammates before.” Pearl huffs as the pain slowly begins to ease.

“You're one t-” Pearl flinches as the pain shoots through her again.

“To talk, Pearl.” Cleo says, doing her best to ignore Pearl’s swaying as Impulse checks the time. Thirty seconds.

“I . . .” Pearl breathes doing everything to ignore the pain of her stomach, “didn’t kill a . . . a teammate, Cleo. . . I . . . killed . . . an enemy. . . You. . . and Scott. . . back. . . backstabbed me.”

“We would have had to fight each other anyways.” Cleo waves off, “It was us, Gem and Martyn. She was going after him, and you were the closest one too us.”

“St– Still . . . a backstab . . . though.” Pearl breathes before all of their comms buzzed. Pearl lets out a pained whine as she drops to her knees holding her stomach. Her friends immediately race to her side.

“I’m fine.”

“You’re not.” Cleo says before another spike comes. It was a long one this time, a solid 20 seconds. Once the world unfreezes, Pearl falls onto Scott.

“Get her in bed!”

“Cl-Cleo.” Pearl whines as her soulmate lifts her.

“Impulse, best be making– Oh you are.” Cleo stops turning to find the imp already with bowls and ingredients over a crafting bench.

“I got it, but best let Grian know we'll need a bit longer of a break.”

“That’s not necessary.” Pearl’s voice rang out, sounding almost too pained to speak.

“It is necessary, and we are doing it. One way or another.” Cleo says, their voice stern. She heads to the far edge of the island before looking at her comm to see she had missed some messages.

“Her stomach seems to have gotten the brunt of it. She’s lying down now, at least, she should be.” Cleo explains looking into the distance. They bite their lip for BigB to pat their shoulder.

“Hey, she’ll be alright. I mean, yeah, she’ll need to take it easy on this next part of the session, but. . . She’s tough. She’ll make it through.”

“Yeah.” Cloe breathes before the two start their way over to the others. They find Tango, Skizz and Gem had decided to pop over unannounced. The latter coming to apparently shake the daylights out of Grian.

“FIX. YOUR. GAME! FIX. YOUR. GAME! YOU CRIPTIC BIRDMAN! SO HELP ME!”

“G-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-m!” Grian tries to say.

“The lag spike nearly killed me! It nearly killed Joel! It practically could have killed the whole server! And I know you had something to do with it! So, you’re going to fix it, you feathered freak!”

“Alright Gem, no killing the bird man on break. Save it for the cameras.” Cleo says for the fox hybrid to release the red sweatered avian. She storms back to the patient at hand for the zombie to look at the main admin.

“So, what exactly caused the spikes to happen?”

“Heh, um,” Grian chuckles, ducking his head, “would you believe me if I said chickens?” Cleo pauses folding her arms.

“Strangely enough, yes, but I have a feeling that wasn’t the case this time.”

“That’s because it wasn’t.” Grian smiles nervously, “Creepers were blowing up our chests. We were lucky none of us died on that last one.”

“I’m sure you’d replace the lives if you had. I mean the break was already called before it happened. Just needed time for the mode to change.” Cleo pauses looking over at the small crowd of nurses tending to their begrudging patient. “Will her recovery be long? She'll be insistent on getting back to work.”

“With a spike like that, she'll need to take it slow for a while. Probably two, maybe three days. Should be back to normal by then, that is, as long as no more spikes happen.” Grian explains before the two walk over to join the chaotic party.

“It's dandelion so it will help more than regular. Just remember to drink it slowly.” Impulse says giving a bowl to Pearl as Big B sits on the end of the bed, looking in his inventory.

“Muscle relaxer Muscle relaxer. Hmmm, maybe if we combined pufferfish and glow-berries? Or snow and carrots?”

“What got hurt Poppers?" Skizz questions, standing overhead, "Head? Stomach? How many fingers am I holding up?” He holds up two fingers before Jimmy chimes in.

“Are you warm enough Pearl? I can craft a blanket if you'd like.”

"And I can get a campfire going." Tango states going to chop down a tree as Scott starts up a brewing stand.

"Are you sure it was just your stomach muscles affected? Your back's fine? What about your limbs?"

“Oh my Notch.” Pearl says, looking away from the group. Gem chuckles before turning to the mother hens.

“Hey guys?” The men stop what they're doing and look at the Canadian, “Maybe you should try to find some snow? It will help relieve some of the pain in her joints.” There's a pause.

"Powder snow for Pearlie!" Tango yells rushing off the island.

"For Pearlie!" The others cheer racing after him, dragging Grian along. Cleo chuckles before turning their attention back to the disgruntled Australian.

“Did you enjoy the attention, Love?” They joke sitting on the side of the bed. Pearl rolls her eyes, hoping her face wasn't too red.

“When’s the break supposed to end?” She questions as Gem pets her hair back.

“Soon enough. As of now, you need rest.”

“I need everyone to stop making such a big deal about this.” Pearl huffs, wiping soup from her chin. “It was just a spasm. It’s gone now. I’m fine.”

“Pearl, you had four of them. Back-to-back I might add. and with that last one I thought you were going to pass out.”

“According to Scott, I did.” She huffs, rolling her eyes again, “But look, I’ll take it easy for the next part of the session. I have that storage room I want to build anyways.”

The two red heads glance at each other. They knew Pearl well enough to know that, while she could spend twenty minutes deciding on what flower to put in a flowerpot, she was also likely to get a build burst and expand said storage room twenty blocks in all directions.

“How about this,” Cleo pauses, brushing some hair from Pearl’s face, “build the storage room, but you have to take five-to-ten-minute breaks every thirty minutes.”

"Can't it be every hour?"

"Nope." Gem pops, "Every thirty minutes, that way you're not overworking yourself."

"Fine." Pearl sighs, not happy with the arrangement but it was better than staying up here and farming.

"Good." Cleo smiles, cupping Pearl's face. "We worry about you, Love."

"I know." Pearl mutters, snuggling into their hand, "I jus-" The world stops again.

"Ah!" Pearl whines curling inwards. Gem takes the bowl as Cleo helps her to lay on her side.

"Ah. Guess they. . . . found snow."

"I'll kill them when they get back." Gem states rubbing circles on Pearl's shoulder. Cleo questions if there's anything they can do to help.

"Magma cream might work?" Gem pauses, "Heat is best for stomach muscles. Honestly, I should have thought of it earlier."

"Ah, with the lot that was here fussing about, I don't blame you for not thinking of it." Cleo says opening a chest. "I'll be surprise if they don't come back with a mountain's worth of snow for you, Pearl."

"Great, build a snow tower out of it." She hums, "Did Griba extend the break? Felt like it should have ended by now."

"He did. We have ten extra minutes." Cleo comes back and sits down, "Meaning you have more time to rest."

"Easier said than done." Pearl pauses as she turns onto her back. Gem runs her fingers through the Aussie's hair as Cleo applies the cream. "Why did it have to be L.I.M.S.?"

"Because the universe needed to nerf you somehow. You're too powerful otherwise." Gem explains, pressing a gentle kiss to Pearl's forehead, "Now rest up. Gonna be a long rest of the session if you don't."

"Gonna be a long rest of break." Pearl pauses before giving a small smile, "Thanks for this though."

"Of course, Love." Cleo says, smiling down at her before their comms buzz.

Hi again! So, I've been half MIA for the last. . . . idk how long. . . . and there are reasons. Family stuff, Halloween things but also . . . the toxic-ish GGG discourse at the start of WL . . . Here's my request the reader is a teenage girl and she's from a planet called Gastro-XV that's been the victim of a stellaron, and this planet's situation is much worse than Bellebog, the planet is nothing more than a huge desert now, and not only do the very few remaining survivors have to deal with fragmentum monsters, but also abominations of abundance, their weaponry is about the same as ours. Most of the people left on Gastro-XV believe in the phrase "Every man for himself". Ngl I was inspired by the pangea desert when I thought about it, and I got the idea of both fragmentum monsters and abominations of abundance by some modded Minecraft playthroughs. The reader has been taken in by Boothill and went to Penacony with him and Rappa during the 2.6 quest, the reader was especially interested in paperfold University because she's never been able to go to a real school.

You make your way to Paperfold Academy with a bounce in your step, eager to see what an actual school is like. Boothill doesn't chide you for the dreamy look in your eyes when you arrive,  letting you take your time looking around.

It’s bustling, as expected, but you’ve never seen so many people together like this, each one of them so different from each other. It messes with your head a little bit. To think that this sea of bright lights and joyous souls was once a desert planet, like yours.

Boothill’s caught up in some sort of nonsense conversion about bananas, unaware of you wandering off, eyes taking in everything around you or trying to, so many colors and sounds seem a little too much for you to absorb.

Before you know it, you find yourself in one of the academy halls, much more empty than the main plaza but still filled with people moving about, chatting amongst themselves about subjects you don't quite grasp. You wonder to yourself, how difficult would it be to enroll, just to see what a real class is like! Both Rappa haven't been very helpful with figuring it out, considering they too have never been in school and are much less interested in finding out what they’re like. Though you can't exactly blame them – their life goals have less than nothing to do with education in general.

The sounds of people mingling fade as you step deeper into the building, where the lights are dimmer and the halls are quieter – it gives you a chance to take a breath as adrenaline had begun filling your veins without your notice. Everything is just so exciting!

But Boothill’s right, you have a mission, you should find Rappa and– is that a monkey in a lab coat? 

A poster about one ‘Profnana’ catches your eye… though you’re unable to read much more beyond that. What a strange place. Still you sit there and try your best for some time – this is a place of learning, after all, you should try to improve your reading skill. 

Focused as you are, you don't notice the red eyes set on you from behind the corner, watching, observing, “...You will make a great actor.”

Suddenly, a wave of unpleasant memories from before Boothill had taken you in floods your mind so viciously that you’re left scrambling for a grip against the wall in front of you, breathing heavy and heart rate accelerated.

Before you’re able to even question what is happening, the feeling is gone and a hand lands softly on your shoulder – it's Rappa. Her lips are moving but you only catch the end of her sentence, “--you ok?”

It takes you several seconds to nod, flashes of the scalding sun upon your skin and the dirt under your nails staining your mind long after the moment has passed.

You ask her where Boothill is, she says he's gone already, starting his part of the plan – you barely register her words.

Eyes watch you both from the shadows as Rappa launches into one of her ninja speeches that you barely pay attention to.

Yes… what a wonderful actor you’ll make.

Man, there is just something so fascinating to me about the Boat Boys because I think their relationship has always been akin to like...the rockiest of waters (pun intended). I've just been thinking so much about it...

In 3rd Life, funnily enough, one of their first interactions was just them riding a boat together. In Last Life, Joel ended Etho's series. Even before being soulbonded they've had that sort of "me and the bestie/can't stand his fakeass" dynamic.

If anything was evident in Double Life, it's that they had fun together. It's safe to say they probably weren't the most loyal to one another, mainly due to Etho and his Bdubs withdrawal, but it would be wrong to say that they didn't enjoy each other's company. They both have the urge to cause chaos, but one's more upfront about it and the other is more subtle. They complimented each other and balanced out the other, and when the time came around, they died together poetically.

Limited Life was definitely...a season for Joel and Etho interactions. This season was filled with animosity, and constant jabs, and bitter callbacks to a past life. Boat Boys this season were just killing or insulting each other left and right, not finding a moment of comfort or peace around each other.

Then there's Secret Life. This one in particular makes me kind of insane because there's both the animosity and bite to their words when they're interacting with one another, but there was also sincerity. For a brief moment, these two were able to express genuine care that they still had for one another, and that's just crazy to me. Both Joel and Etho's characters don't know sincerity and always deal more mushy, heartfelt things awkwardly, so this was CRAZY for me. And it always hits harder for me because I've always just imagined Joel and Etho's relationship to just be a very strong, platonic bond. They have people who they are definitely closer to; Joel has people like Lizzie, Grian and Jimmy, and Etho has people like Bdubs, Cleo, and Tango. Those are people that they tend to naturally gravitate towards, but the two of them will always end up crossing paths. And well, that's what being soulmates is really about, right? It's not really about romance; it's about being bound to find this particular person in every universe, no matter what.

Out of all the people on the server, I never expected it to be them. Etho and Joel, the two guys who never seemed to be able to let go of their soul bond when everyone else had moved on to some capacity.

It's like how Martyn never left winter. It's like how Jimmy and Tango will always be each others' ranchers even though they no longer reside at the ranch. It's like how Scar and Grian know monopolies better than anyone. Cleo will always be caught up on BigB's betrayal and Lizzie will remain bitter about Cleo's destructive tendencies towards her home. Impulse will never let go of Bdubs' betrayal. It's the way Scott seems somewhat attached to literally ALL of his exes. The lifers just cannot be normal about each other and every new season adds to their insanity regarding one another.

If you've reached the end of this, I commend you. I'm not adding anything new to this conversation, I'm just yapping and blabbling about the Minecraft series that changed my life and altered my brain chemistry. These worms eat at my neurons everyday and I just HAVE to tell somebody, ANYBODY about my insanity.

any music that you've listened to lately that you wanna share?

yeah sure! i don't really listen to a lot of popular/new music, i just sorta download stuff when it seems interesting to me. i tend to get really fixated on an artist or album for a long stretch of time, like if a track hits i'll have it on repeat constantly for hours if not days or weeks.

anyway i've been getting a lot of play out of John Carpenter's four Lost Themes albums. basically, they're soundtracks for movies that don't exist-- which means they're nonstop bangers start to finish, because unlike his actual movie OSTs he doesn't have to cater to the needs of dialogue and sound design. i especially recommend these albums if you, like me, spent a lot of time in the 2010s listening to the various Homestuck music albums. genuinely there are a bunch of tracks here that could show up in an [S] and you wouldn't even blink.

this is gonna be a pretty big bucket but i've been listening to a lot of J Jazz and City Pop. the three Pacific Breeze compilations, Tokyo Glow, and the four J Jazz: Deep Modern Jazz from Japan compilations have been regulars on my rotation. i have to be in a particular mood for the city pop but i can listen to jazz whenever. i'm really glad there's been a resurgence in attention for j jazz since they broadly kept the tradition alive and evolving after it fell out of fashion in the states, and that scene broadly formed the musical foundation of a lot of the greatest composers of Japanese video game & anime music in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s.

sorry to be a white woman but i love Vulfpeck. they're an ensemble of exceptionally talented and affably good-natured musicians who've picked up where the 70s left off and carried on as if they never ended. their most recent album, Clarity of Cal, is so wild. it's a live album recorded at a massive sold out show... performing music that had never been released before. this gives it the quality of a greatest hits compilation from an alternate universe. idk man i love these guys. i saw Theo Katzman live in 2020, literally the last good thing that happened in my life before the pandemic hit, and yes Joe Dart really IS that good. also highly recommend Cory Wong's solo stuff and literally every Fearless Flyers album.

there's a lot of soundtracks that tend to go through my rotation so i won't overload you with too many of those, but in particular i've been listening to the Wanderstop OST and the Challengers OST. extremely different vibes! Wanderstop is a game about making tea while dealing with trauma whose music is by C418 (of Minecraft), and of course Challengers is a movie about disaster tennis bisexuals whose music is by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (of The Nine Inch Nails, as seen on Twin Peaks). the former just has such a depth of comforting textures and moods, while the latter is like "i'm having a panic attack but fuck it we thrive anyway."

the last thing i'll share is my favorite band: Murder By Death. i did a video about their most recent album like two years ago, and also wrote an entire novel based on another of their albums back in 2012. they're currently kickstarting what will probably be their last album, which i'm both incredibly excited for and sad about. they're a sort of apocalyptic country/blues/rock band (???? i'm terrible at describing music genres) who've done all sorts of concept albums with different sounds and driving ideas. they're the only band i've seen live more than once (three times, hopefully four when they come to seattle again later this year) and learning how to play & sing their songs on guitar has consistently been my strongest motivator in actually practicing on that damn instrument. i made a playlist on spotify touring through the phases of their career, but if i had to pick one song it's gonna be Last Night on Earth from The Other Shore. it's an album about people escaping from earth to find a new home for humanity (an evergreen topic for concept albums) and this track is the big finale. MBD is SOOOO good at finales dude. i love their music so much

Hermitcraft/Bnha crossover alright, so, I’m not sure if anyone has thought of this before, but what if the hermitcraft/life series participants existed in the bnha/mha universe? Of course not actually IN the universe and influencing the plot. But just imagine if their persona’s had quirks and interacted with some of the characters on an off chance. This is just a random idea for an au that was festering in my brain, but it sounds almost exciting. So I was thinking, how about I make a list of their theoretical quirks and show some random strangers on the internet for my first post? That sounds like a great idea! So, without further ado! The crossover absolutely nobody was asking for (and since I can’t draw I can’t put it into an actual comic or anything) here’s some of the hermits and their quirks!

Grian- I was thinking of giving him a quirk similar to fierce wings, considering most of the internet, (myself included) pictures him with wings. But, the evolution of Grian and his Minecraft skins lead me to give him a transformation quirk, something similar to Toga’s. Although I’ll probably end up giving him a bird quirk anyway, since he also looks quite similar to Hawks too. Those two would probably fly around the city, annoying people all day.

Scar- personally, I like the idea that he would get the “anivoice” quirk, so he could actually communicate with Jellie or the other cats in neighbourhood. Either that or he could have a cat related quirk, but I think it would be funny to have someone like Shinso or Aizawa meet this guy, probably after finding him with an army of stray cats, and just sit there going, “what the heck…?” Because they’re talking to a large and slightly intimidating guy, in a wheelchair, who is really friendly, and surrounded by cats that would likely commit crimes for their dad.

Tango- his quirk would end up being something like the secret lovechild of Endeavour and Burnin. He would have flaming hair, which would make sense, but his manipulation of fire wouldn’t be that strong. Similar to how Kaminari’s quirk works, he would be able to cover his hands, or other parts of his body if you’d rather, in fire. But that would be basically the extent of it. He can’t shoot the fire out all over the place, sadly. It would be cool if he ran, or was a part of a large support company that made support items or costumes for people with fire or heat related quirks.

I’m going to make a few more of these posts, since I know it’s already starting to get quite long as it is. You can probably see a recurring theme about their quirks being based off already existing powers, but I’m mostly taking inspiration from those abilities because they’re so good, and it might make it easier for those characters to interact since they’ve got quirks similar to each other. But seriously, this is how wacky my crossover au’s could get since I have such a vast range of interests.

That doesn't mean I'm not smart though. I'm mostly slow. I call it rebooting. So if I ever take a while to respond it's probably because I'm thinking about what to say!

I have borderline personality disorder.

I have bipolar disorder. I deal mostly with mood swings one minute ranting about how cute my cat is the next minute crying over how cute my cat is.

I deal with a lot of doctors! Two or more appointments a week! So if I tell you multiple times over a short span of time I can't talk cause I'm going to the doctor's it's not an overused excuse! It's true!

I have severe anxiety. Meaning any communication at all stresses me out. But I still really wanna try to socialize!

I have memory issues.

So if you wanna talk I'm welcome to it. I'm just really, really, shy. And sometimes I'll panic and end conversations out of nowhere. So if you ever wanna talk all I ask is to be understanding and a lil patient.

I love art! But it's hard to do since I have some physical problems. But I do it anyway! I mainly draw things I like or request / challenges I receive. I like to draw my little persona alot because he's simple and easy to draw. I also have a lot of OC's! Ask me about them! I love them all and will be over the moon to share their stories outside of just the art I make of them!

About a little thing about me: I am very scrambled in the head. Which has made multiple versions of 'me's' and I tend to portray the different sides of me through different ways. Ahh can you believe it guys?? We reached over 100 followers!! You have no idea how much I appreciate all of your support and love. It genuinely means SO MUCH to me as a writer and an artist!!!

I've written for a few different fandoms, but did you know the very first story I ever wrote was a Pokemon Fanfiction called My Life as a Pokemon? I was in third grade and it was essentially a knock off Mystery Dungeon clone! I genuinely started writing it out of spite because I didn't like that my classmate was getting a lot of attention for writing little short stories and I wanted that attention lol. Who would've thought that saltiness and pettinessd would've started me on the path I'm on now!

My biggest solo project is obviously my Don't Starve fanfic, "What This World Has to Offer" at a whopping 103 chapters currently and an unhealthy amount of personal art related to it. I specify solo project before I'm part of a group-developed project based on an original universe lovingly called Resonance! I don't talk about it a whole lot on here because it's kind of my personal baby, but I do actually write original fiction.

I'm almost certain that most of y'all are here from the Parkour Civ/PvP Civ fandom and know me from my series, Mercy for the Lamb. Genuinely, in all my years of writing I have never felt so embraced and loved by a fandom.

If it weren't for the fandom, I definitely would've just forgotten about and moved on from Parkour Civ immediately after watching it. Then, someone suggested the fic "a how-to guide on accepting your "happy" ending" by AngelMyst on a Tiktok video, which made me realize how banger the fics were in this fandom, leading me to read "Your Baby Teeth Would Pray For You" by starstrucksun which SOLIDIFIED my love for the fandom.

I really only planned on writing one story, "The Memories Fade (But the Body Remembers)" after reading "and with this heavy heart" by Esspherial because I was so obsessed with the weirdly intense subject matter present in PvP Civ. After that was "Crusader" which focused on my love for the "Noobs did desperate things to keep from starving" headcanon. Things kinda went crazy after I read "The Goat and The Calf" by AlienCatBoy. It's a shorter one-shot based on the premise of PvP Evbo meeting his Parkour Civ counterpart. You can 100% thank them for getting me obsessed with that concept.

After "Mercy for the Lamb" was "Sacrificial Lambs and the Gods Who Request Them", directly inspired by "It Started" by ImReadingAt3Am because I LOVED how that story was written, especially the very brief ending where Evbo is found in the midst of his panicking and taken care of by one of the Diamond Swords, which I ATE up and desperately needed more of. A lot of the comments on Sacrificial Lambs really wanted to see Parkour God Evbo beat up people in PvP Civ, leading to "Vengeance for the Lamb"! And now I'm so deep into it I don't think I can stop any time soon.

So yeah! That's all the fics that led to me going completely haywire over Minecraft Youtube Fanfic. Genuinely, thank you all so so much for your support and love. I hope that you all continue to enjoy my works! I may be a humble factory worker in real life, but writing gives me such an opportunity to feel like I'm doing something personally meaningful and you guys have all helped me so much to keep that up.
