Call me childish, but I self censor. I dont swear in real life (out loud) and while I will repost posts with swears, I can't bring myself to type them out myself. Even if I think them. My internal narrative swears a lot, but I don't.

I've been teased about it, but it feels mean to me.

I self censor a lot too. But it's because growing up my mom said she hated swearing and I took that to heart. Nowadays I think she swears far more than I do. And it's to the point of not using them that it'd be kinda be weird to start using them right? So I just remain non cuss words.

Just to clarify I don't dislike songs with gender in them. I just think the ones without them have more potential when it comes to imagining situations and characters. For instance I have a non binary character I'm having trouble placing songs to because of the genders songs tend to use.

I've had an idea of guardian angels just being the beings behind imaginary friends, y'know appearing as different beings to bond with the children more and basically it'd be to guide and help children but obviously they can't show themselves so they keep visibility limited and don't interact with the world psychically at all.

But you know there's gonna be that one angel who sees a kid in danger and can't bring themselves to not do anything. So they break the rules and rescues the kid and is now on the run from angel law.

And has accidentally adopted said child.

Best parent ever though 10/10

Especially if the child already has a single parent and then angel ends up getting with said parent.

Just an idea not a full on story in my head yet. Yet.

Might I recommend Tom's silly strawberry toothpaste? It's what I've used since I was a kid because it's not mint but it's not that overly sweet fake strawberry flavor either. Also act kids watermelon mouthwash. It does have more of a sweet taste but it's better than the mint or bubble gum mouth washes. Oh and non tinted floss. Which tastes like nothing. It's much better than the mint flavored.

Hmm I can't say I disagree or agree with you. But I think everyone has the right to their own opinions and it's okay to have unpopular ones. For instance I hate anything and everything mint because it makes my sensory issues throw a fit. Makes me dread Christmas because you have no clue what might be laced with peppermint that time of year.

Confession time!

I've put off coming out as a trans man for several months. I haven't even really officially said anything on it, the closest I've gotten is trans masc.

I'm worried people are going to hate me or something if I say I'm a man. I have a couple friends who are like "I hate men" and I can never tell if they're joking or not.

But I want to start T, eventually. I want the hormone therapy, the top surgery, maybe even the bottom surgery. I'm just worried about the initial reaction people may have.

Well I can say from experience the initial reaction can be tough. Mine certainly was. Like half my family said they were gonna disown me but then they all came around eventually. Even the worst one did two years later by getting me a Christmas ornament with my preferred name on it. But yeah one thing about it was I basically said it's either have a son or nothing. Because I just wasn't going to put up with people who made me feel like more trash than I already felt. As for t and medical stuff while I did get a referral I've decided not to go right now due to the whole political thing they're having with trans healthcare. So I put it off by a few years but you bet the minute there's a different president I'm walking my butt back to my doctor to get another referral. Take your time. It'll all be better in the end.

It's okay. You don't owe anyone information about your gender identity if you don't want to. Infact I don't tell anyone I'm trans in real life. I only do so online so I have someone to rant to about it. In real life I'm stealth mode. And I pass really well because of it. So don't feel guilty about it. It's a personal thing and no one needs to know what's in your pants. And if they ask then tell them to f#ck off. (This is a half joke)

Context: I've had health issues on and off most of my life. The easiest diagnoses I have only one of two markers for (so it can't be that), and I've pretty much given up figuring out what's wrong with me.

Confession: Sometimes I'm scared I am just making it all up for attention. That it's all in my head.

I don't think you're making it up. Normally people who lie for attention are aware they are lying and are doing it knowingly. I think you're just being anxious and thinking something that is not true.
